Sikorski:

Poland Lacks Ambassadors in Almost Half the World's Countries. Does Not a Single Nomination Deserve a Signature?

Michał Lubowicki

- Poland does not have fully accredited ambassadors in 88 countries, which is almost half the world's nations. Because I recall: we don't have embassies everywhere, and in many places, a Polish ambassador is accredited to other countries as well - stated Radosław Sikorski on TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach" (Facts after Facts).

- The constitution states: the president appoints and dismisses. The law states: upon the motion of the Minister of Foreign Affairs. All these motions have been submitted in accordance with the law. The only thing they lack is the president's signature - he stated.

- I ask again: does not a single one of the 44 Polish diplomats, most of whom are professionals who also served under the PiS government, truly deserve a signature? - he inquired.
