Zgorzelski:

PiS has shifted right, leaving the political center open. PSL aims to occupy this space.

- The idea is certainly in the minds of many members of the Polish People's Party (PSL) for the party to seize the opportunity presented by the shift of all center-right parties to the right, due to the emergence of Putin's Confederation and Mentzen and Bosak's Confederation - said Piotr Zgorzelski on TOK FM's Morning Show.

- PiS has done this, and naturally, the political center has been freed up - in my opinion, no longer mythical - and PSL, with its supporters, friends, entrepreneurs, artisans, and local government officials, is naturally occupying this space - he stated.

He continued: - In my opinion, this is manifesting - although perhaps not yet in a spectacular way - in certain polling upticks. [...] One must have a very skeptical attitude towards them, looking more at trends than at one-off 3% or 6% increases, as those have also occurred.

- The center of the political stage has been freed up. It simply needs to be occupied, clearly marked, and we need to show that there is a political party that doesn't have to fit into this duopoly that has been devouring Polish democracy for 20 years, led by politicians who periodically share power - he indicated.
