Kaczyński on the convention's appeal:

Such people, if they insist on such a stance, must be eliminated.

- [The appeal from the convention, where the PiS leader defended the governments of Beata Szydło and Mateusz Morawiecki] was necessary because an element that certainly contributed to it, as it essentially fit into the constant attacks from Konfederacja against us, was precisely this kind of criticism. Criticism that, in my opinion, although of course one can always discuss these matters, was unfair and usually based on a lack of real political insight that comes from practice. Politics is a discipline one learns through practice, and very many of these critics don't truly have such practice because this practice is primarily the practice of governing. They often criticized without any basis or on very weak grounds - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in the program "Magazyn Anity Gargas".

- Some people who were weaker psychologically or also had various personal intentions, even from our side, joined in. There were also MPs who, when pressed by a journalist or their colleague from Konfederacja, usually also a parliamentarian, clearly backed down, retreated immediately, as if joining in. And this had to be decisively put an end to, because a party with such people, who don't really know how things are, cannot defend themselves, are so soft, has no chance. Such people, if they insist on such a stance, must simply be eliminated - the PiS leader continued.

- But on the other hand, those who had the greatest influence on governing cannot deny that they made certain decisions and that sometimes these were decisions that, and I emphasize - sometimes, were not entirely fortunate. They were made in good faith, but nevertheless, they could raise some doubts - he noted.
