Hennig-Kloska:

Hołownia Should Publicly Congratulate Pełczyńska-Nałęcz. I Don't Know Why He Hasn't

- Of course, he should. I was at a conference today. Of course, Szymon Hołownia should publicly congratulate Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz. We wouldn't have to be discussing this for two days. Basic personal courtesy also demands it. I don't know why he hasn't done so - stated Paulina Hennig-Kloska on TVP Info.

Morawiecki:

40 People Died from Cold - This is a Dramatic Situation the Prime Minister Should Confront

- "Winter surprised the road maintenance crews," do you remember that old saying? Winter surprised this government - that can certainly be said. But the saddest manifestation is that 40 people have died from the cold, and I think this is a dramatic situation that the Prime Minister should confront - said Mateusz Morawiecki in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

20:38

Morawiecki:

KO Should Change Its Name to KA - Coalition of Failures

- I want to offer Poles a new contract in this new socio-economic situation they have found themselves in. This is the hope that PiS provides. Hope for the healing of healthcare. In the village of Bandysie, Ostrołęka county, a 32-year-old woman dies because an ambulance doesn't reach her. And we only learn about this because the Volunteer Fire Brigade arrived in the meantime, and the woman died in the hands of these firefighters – said Mateusz Morawiecki in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

- 40 people are dying of cold this winter. In Ursus, Warsaw, two people die in their own homes. The situation is dramatic, and this coalition should be called the "Coalition of Failures" – he stated.

As he said: – I know they recently changed their name from Civic Platform, PO, to KO, but they should change it to KA – Koalicja Awarii (Coalition of Failures). There is a heating failure, an internet failure. They couldn't cope with KSeF. There is a failure on the railways. We have truly significant failures, and the current prime minister, my successor, clearly isn't coping with them.

20:26

Morawiecki:

We have far-reaching authoritarian power. Tusk's regime has violated democratic foundations

- Today, the law is broken routinely. Today, a Prime Minister's tweet annuls a Supreme Court ruling, and a regulation is to be more important than the constitution. Today, opposition politicians are put in prison. Independent institutions and the prosecution service are attacked. This is truly breaking the law par excellence - said Mateusz Morawiecki on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń".

- I can say that today we indeed have such far-reaching authoritarian power. This Tusk regime has truly violated democratic foundations - he assessed.

20:15

Hennig-Kloska:

I Cannot Imagine Beginning a Discussion on Unity by Eliminating Anyone

- I cannot imagine us beginning a discussion on unity by eliminating anyone. I operate on the principle of "all for one, one for all" in our environment. We will not allow ourselves to be divided by false promises - stated Paulina Hennig-Kloska on TVP Info.

20:12

Hennig-Kloska reiterates:

Perhaps Hołownia would also be a great Deputy Prime Minister?

- Of course, every party needs tools to effectively fulfill its promises. But perhaps if not Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, since Szymon Hołownia wants to re-enter the game and remain an active politician, perhaps he would also be a great Deputy Prime Minister of Poland 2050? - stated Paulina Hennig-Kloska on TVP Info.

20:09

Morawiecki:

The Brussels Aristocracy Should Go to Tworki, Because They've Gone Mad

- Towards the European establishment, that old Polish saying, "Doctor, heal thyself," really seems to fit best. Because they lecture us, tell us what to do, impose the Migration Pact, Mercosur, or the Green Deal on us, while in reality, this madness is causing the ever-increasing decline of European industry, Polish industry - said Mateusz Morawiecki on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń".

- European right-wing, which I have the honor to lead – I am the head of the European Conservatives, a sort of European Republican party – has a Euro-realistic attitude towards everything that is happening. Euro-realism is an attempt to shake up this madness. Because those elites, that Brussels aristocracy should preferably go to Tworki and get a little treatment there themselves, because they've gone mad - he assessed.

- From the inside, I want to propose a formula that, in my opinion, would lead Europe in a much better direction. I have proposed the formula of a Europe of multiple paths, a Europe of strategic partnerships. If someone wants to wade into this madness [...] of the Migration Pact, accepting more migrants, […] the same applies to ETS 2, Mercosur – do it yourselves, experiment, and let's see how it works - he stated.

20:08

Hennig-Kloska:

Burying Divisions Will Be Harder Than It Could Have Been

- Burying divisions will be harder than it could have been. Unnecessary words were spoken, not by us, not by our supporters, not by me, but decidedly too strong, unnecessary words were spoken, which could have been avoided - stated Paulina Hennig-Kloska on TVP Info.

19:51

Morawiecki’s declaration on PiS membership:

Until the very end of my days in politics.

- How much longer a PiS politician? That will become clear in our conversation - stated Marek Tejchman at the beginning of the interview on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events).

- Until the very end - replied Mateusz Morawiecki.

- Of PiS? - asked the host.

- No, until the very end of my days in politics - indicated the former Prime Minister.

President Exercises Clemency Power for the First Time

"By virtue of decisions made on February 2, 2026, the President of the Republic of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, has exercised his clemency powers in respect of three individuals," informed Rafał Leśkiewicz.

"In making these decisions, the President of the Republic of Poland was guided by humanitarian considerations, positive opinions from the courts, as well as the motions filed by the Prosecutor General to exercise the right of clemency," indicated the presidential spokesperson.

The individuals against whom Karol Nawrocki exercised his clemency powers had been convicted of: negligently causing a land traffic disaster resulting in the death of a person or serious bodily harm to multiple individuals (1), criminal threats (2), fraud, causing economic damage on a large scale, and harming creditors (3).

"At the same time, by decision of February 2, 2026, the President of the Republic of Poland did not grant clemency to five individuals," he relayed.

As stated in the spokesperson's post: "Additionally, the President of the Republic of Poland signed 4 decisions in which, pursuant to Article 567 § 2 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (k.p.k.), he requested the Prosecutor General to present case files in 4 matters. This provision states: 'The Prosecutor General shall present the case files to the President of the Republic of Poland or initiate pardon proceedings ex officio in every case when the President so decides'."

Tusk Announces Visit to Kyiv:

In This Dramatic Time, Ukraine Cannot Be Left Alone.

- At the invitation of Volodymyr Zelensky, I will be in Kyiv in the coming days. In this dramatic time, Ukraine cannot be left alone - Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced on social media.

18:14

Doda Meets with Żurek:

Now I'm Waiting for Action.

"Today I was invited to a meeting by the Minister of Justice. My demands were listened to with great commitment and understanding by Waldemar Żurek: raising penalties for animal cruelty, training for judges and prosecutors regarding the imposition of sentences, and permanently revoking the rights of sadists to own animals, not temporarily. Now I'm waiting for action." - wrote Dorota "Doda" Rabczewska on Facebook.

16:45

Morawiecki:

Poland's Two-Year 'Major System Failure.' Let's Fix It!

- A government of failures. Error 404. Internet outages. Rail disruptions. Heating failures. A major system failure for Poland for the past two years. Let's fix it! - wrote Mateusz Morawiecki on social media.

24/7 Hot Drink Points: Trzaskowski on Measures Taken Due to Frosts

- I have decided to set up such tents as you see behind me in several locations in Warsaw, so that people can have tea or coffee in this cold weather, and when the temperature drops below 10 degrees, these places operate thanks to the Fire Brigade as well - said Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference.

- Today and tomorrow, because we will be dealing with frosts that will drop below 20 degrees at night, these points will operate 24/7 - he continued.

14:28

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz Proposes Hennig-Kloska for Poland 2050 Board

- I would very much like to present to the National Council a nomination, or rather a proposal, as it is the National Council that will decide, a proposal for Minister Paulina Hennig-Kloska to join the board. She has my full support and recommendation for the National Council - stated Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz at a press briefing.

14:23

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz Delivers a Message to Tusk Regarding the Deputy Prime Minister Position:

Agreements Must Be Kept.

- We are constantly in very good dialogue and contact with Marshal Hołownia. I am meeting with him tomorrow. The matter of the Deputy Prime Minister, I think, is a moment to state clearly - stated Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz at a press briefing.

- I have a quadruple mandate in this matter. This decision was made by the parliamentary club, then by the National Council, then I am the candidate who received the largest mandate in the first round and won the second round, the leadership of Poland 2050, meaning the strongest mandate, from the people of Poland 2050. The Deputy Prime Minister issue is today a decision for our main coalition partner. We are capable of being in this coalition for the sake of issues, but at the same time, we say yes – agreements must be kept. This is what good politics is about: keeping agreements - she continued.

- There is an oral agreement, confirmed many times by various politicians, that each coalition party has a Deputy Prime Minister, and we believe this agreement should be kept, because that's how every good coalition is built - she emphasized.

14:19

Hennig-Kloska to Pełczyńska-Nałęcz:

Kasia, Are You Aware the Party is Divided on Vision?

- Kasia, are you aware that the party today is also divided on vision, and you have the most tools and opportunities in your hands today to utilize this knowledge as best you can. To achieve true unity, drawing on the wisdom of all those who voted for you on Saturday, but also of those who, together with me, drafted various postulates and ideals, de facto based on the same roots - stated Paulina Hennig-Kloska at a press briefing.

14:16

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz Announces Meeting with Coalition Leaders

- I will be meeting with the leaders of our coalition in the near future and will discuss these matters with them. We have just had elections, perhaps the most democratic elections in the history of Polish politics of the Third Republic. Elections that showed it is possible to compete, to argue on substantive issues to the benefit of parties, to public debate, and then, together, harmoniously, responsibly, and effectively move forward - stated Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz at a press briefing.

14:14

"We Are and Will Remain in This Coalition": Pełczyńska-Nałęcz at a Briefing with Hennig-Kloska

- I also congratulate, Paulina and I received 94% of the votes. This shows what a wonderful, democratic party Poland 2050 is. I want to thank everyone who voted, for the mandate. I feel immensely responsible for our formation and for what lies ahead. I want to thank you very much, because you were a demanding, very competent, substantive competitor. It is an honor to compete with such a politician and such a person, a minister like you - stated Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz at a press briefing.

- Elections are behind us, actions are ahead. This week will involve the creation of a new board for Poland 2050, and the National Council will be convened. This council will elect the part of the board not nominated by the leader. By the end of the week, we will have a full board for Poland 2050. At my request, the National Council will convene a national congress. Poland 2050 will become a party even more based on the strength of the regions - she continued.

- We want the regional leaders, all of them, to join the National Council of Poland 2050 - she said.

- Poland 2050 is part of the October 15th coalition and will remain part of the October 15th coalition. This is our commitment to the voters. We are and will remain in this coalition, with the voters' issues and with our yellow DNA. We have matters ahead of us that we want to address and move forward with. Poland 2050 is a formation of a distinct center; without a distinct center in Poland, the radical right will come to power - emphasized Pełczyńska-Nałęcz.

Mentzen on Trusted Profile Failure After KSeF Launch:

We Said This Would Happen.

- At 9:30 AM, Minister Domański boasted that KSeF was working excellently and without disruptions. At 11:30 AM, the Ministry of Finance issued a statement that the trusted profile had failed, making it impossible to log into KSeF - wrote Sławomir Mentzen on social media.

- We said this would happen! State systems are constantly failing, and now we are dependent on them! - emphasized the leader of Konfederacja.

A High Likelihood of Polish Government Spending Money in Germany and France, Says Bocheński on the SAFE Program

"The SAFE fund was created and designed in such a way that all participating states would purchase armaments from European industry. And because the production capacities of the Polish industry are being used to their maximum, there is a very high probability that the Polish government will spend this money in Germany and France," said Tobiasz Bocheński at a press conference.

12:54

Bocheński:

Marshal Czarzasty's Decision Warms Trump as Much as the Polish Weather Outside

- I think Donald Trump is as concerned about Marshal Czarzasty's decision and as warmed by it as the temperature in Poland is outside - said Tobiasz Bocheński at a press conference, when asked if Włodzimierz Czarzasty had made a mistake and should have supported the Nobel Prize nomination for Donald Trump.

- This is reducing serious matters to a comical role, because Mr. Czarzasty is using the issue of Trump, his Nobel Prize, to engage in internal Polish political infighting, solely to build divisions - he continued.

- Mr. Czarzasty is doing this only so that someone talks loudly about him today, because he is no partner in deciding whether Donald Trump deserves the Nobel Prize or not - he added.

12:48

Bocheński:

Tusk's Government Has Put Us on the Podium. Poland Will Have the Most Expensive Electricity in Europe

- Finally, Donald Tusk's government has put us on the podium. In first place. According to long-term electricity contracts being concluded this year for 2027, Poland will have the most expensive electricity in Europe – said Tobiasz Bocheński at a press conference.

- 440 PLN per MWh, while in France, where energy is the cheapest, it's 220. This is an unbelievable situation that impacts the entire Polish economy, our entire development, and our entire future development strategy – he continued.

- Two years ago, energy prices on the same exchanges for Poland indicated that we were within the European average. Today, soon, in a moment, we will be the most expensive in Europe – he went on to say.

Citizen's Referendum Under Presidential Patronage? Bogucki on an Alternative Scenario in Case of Senate Disagreement

- Of course, the Senate's consent is required here to call a presidential referendum in the strict sense of the word. [...] Even if there is no consent from the Senate, I am not saying that such a solution will be implemented, I am talking here about a hypothetical solution, meaning, if the Senate were to block it, we must take seriously into consideration the possibility of calling a referendum, for example, on the issue of, I don't know, the justice system - said Zbigniew Bogucki in "Polityczny WF" on Polsat News.

- I think we need to seriously consider something like this, but I am saying that even if there were no consent from the Senate, and thus the formal conditions for a strictly presidential referendum were not met, I believe that there is such [...] civic force in society that the president [...] could even appeal to Poles regarding calling a referendum, of which he would be the patron, and it would essentially be a citizen's referendum - he continued, when asked about a possible referendum project this year.

- I am not saying that this is how it will be, just to be clear, I am not saying that it is prepared and scheduled today. I am only saying that if the president were blocked and if there were such a will from President Nawrocki, then such a scenario would also be possible - he continued.

11:12

"A Matter of the Next Few Weeks'. Bogucki Announces President's Initiative on Referendums

- I think this is a matter of the next few weeks, when there will be an initiative from the President concerning direct democracy, probably in the area of issues related to local referendums - said Zbigniew Bogucki in 'Polityczny WF' on Polsat News.

- I think so - he continued, when asked if the aim is to lower the threshold.

- The President is not looking, Mr. Editor, through the prism of, I don't know, in this case, President Miszalski of Krakow, or this or that municipality, district, or city, but rather it is about the principle - he went on to say, when asked about fanning the flames in Krakow.

- Yes - he added, when asked if it won't be a referendum about referendums, but a law that changes the electoral threshold.

- If the appropriate number of signatures can be collected to call such a referendum, then I think a lower threshold should be set for the validity of this referendum, so that both the one who is to be recalled and the one who wants to recall a given mayor, town mayor, or president, strives to ensure that as many residents as possible participate in this referendum - he emphasized.

10:57

Factional War in PiS? Bogucki: I See It as a Programmatic and Directional Dispute

- I don't see it as a war, I see it as a dispute, as a programmatic and directional dispute, meaning how Law and Justice should position itself, how it should take a stance towards those groups that are closer to the center of the political scene, those that are today to the right of Law and Justice, here there are largely differences of opinion – said Zbigniew Bogucki in "Polityczny WF" on Polsat News, when asked about "factional wars in PiS".

- Sometimes it's not good that it [the discussion] comes out into the open, because I would prefer it to remain within the framework of our conversations, whether in private or in a closed circle – he continued.

10:48

Czarzasty Asked About the Deputy Prime Minister Position for Poland 2050:

The Prime Minister Should Make the Decision.

- There must be some elementary order in these matters, and as you know, I stand as one of the proponents of such order. In this matter, the decision should be made by Prime Minister Donald Tusk. It is his decision, and we will wait to see what decision he makes - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a press conference.

10:46

Bogucki on Whether Poland Should Join the Peace Council and Pay a Billion Dollars:

Absolutely Yes.

- The fundamental question is: in the context of the Peace Council, do we want to be at the table where the most important decisions are made, or do we want to find out how people will emerge after this meeting, rise from that table, and we will be waiting in the anteroom asking, "Listen, what did you decide?" - said Zbigniew Bogucki in "Polityczny WF" on Polsat News.

- Do we want Poland, as a nation, to be in such a position, or do we want to sit at that table and represent Polish interests, present the Polish point of view, and pursue the Polish raison d'état? I am absolutely in favour, and President Nawrocki also views it this way, of being at that table - he continued.

- As for my opinion, then of course yes - he added, when asked if he could say directly that Poland should join the Peace Council and pay a billion dollars.

10:45

Czarzasty:

It's Obvious I Will Cooperate with Every Party Leader Forming the Coalition

- I congratulate Ms. Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on taking over as the head of Polska 2050. And as for meetings, if Ms. Pełczyńska-Nałęcz makes such a proposal, then of course, yes, because every leader of a coalition party is important to me. It is obvious that I will cooperate with every leader of the parties that form the coalition, and therefore also with Ms. Pełczyńska-Nałęcz - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a press conference.

10:43

Bogucki on the Need to End the Ambassador Dispute:

It Must Be Within the Next Few Weeks.

- This needs to be resolved within the next few weeks, I think, to finalize this matter, because it has been going on for far too long, and I am absolutely in favor of it finally being put to an end. And such a proposal has been put forward by the President – said Zbigniew Bogucki in Polsat News's "Polityczny WF" [Political PE], referring to the dispute over ambassadors between the President and the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

10:42

Czarzasty:

I Will Not Support the Nobel Prize Nomination for Trump, Because He Does Not Deserve It

- Some in Poland are counting on this process not affecting our country, that Americans will reduce their involvement in Europe, but not in Poland. This is wishful thinking. We will not be Trump's advanced stronghold, we will not be the unsinkable US aircraft carrier. This is an illusory belief about Poland's special role in relation to the USA - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a press conference.

- Americans are our allies, and NATO is the guarantee of our security, but we are and will remain in Europe. Europe is a community of values, but in today's world, one must have the strength to defend their values, and this strength must be built. The SAFE mechanism and 43 billion euros for Polish security serve this purpose - he continued.

- The USA building new platforms, such as the Peace Council, is, in my opinion, illusory. The EU, NATO, the UN, the WHO, and ourselves need strengthening. Our security lies in this. President Trump, in my opinion, destabilizes the situation in these organizations, representing a policy of force and conducting transactional politics using force. This is a violation of the policy of principles, values, and often a violation of international law - the Marshal of the Sejm emphasized.

- The policy of tariffs, a different interpretation of history, for example, concerning the participation of Polish soldiers in missions, the instrumental treatment of other territories, such as the instrumental treatment of Greenland - all of this leads me to not support the Nobel Prize nomination for President Trump, because he does not deserve it - he added.

10:28

No Date Yet, But Agreement on Necessity: Bogucki on the Next Nawrocki-Sikorski Meeting

- I believe that the fact that this meeting took place, that it was held in a good atmosphere, and that it is established, not regarding the date, but regarding the direction, that there will be a subsequent meeting between the President and Minister Sikorski [...] there is no date yet, but there is, as it were, an agreement on the necessity, that both the President and Minister Sikorski are to meet, this is some progress - said Zbigniew Bogucki in "Polityczny WF" on Polsat News.

10:23

Bogucki:

Two-Term Limit in Local Government Should Be Maintained

- My opinion is very clear. I believe that the two-term limit should be maintained. This is my opinion, it is not the president's opinion, please do not, so to speak, identify it as such - said Zbigniew Bogucki on "Polityczny WF" on Polsat News.

- I think 10 years is enough time for a local government official, a village mayor, a town mayor, a city president, to carry out important projects, if, of course, they are re-elected for a second term. The President of the Republic can also hold office for only two terms - he continued.

10:21

"Concrete Results, Even Legislative Ones, Will Emerge from Each"

- A good plan has been established with these parliamentary groups that attended the meeting with the President [...]. In fact, there was a thread of understanding with each group in some sphere, on some level of life, and I believe there will be results from this - stated Zbigniew Bogucki in a conversation with Marcin Fijołek and Łukasz Szpyrka on Polsat News' "Polityczny WF" (Political PE).

- It's not as if it was just coffee, cookies, and tea; you will actually see that concrete results will emerge from each of these meetings [...] even legislative ones - he continued.

- The main focus was on parliamentary work, mainly on the legislative process, meaning the issues of laws proposed by groups, both opposition ones, by which I mean Law and Justice, but also the Razem party, and which end up in the freezer of Marshal Czarzasty or that marshal's veto, but also by coalition groups. By this, I mean the Polish People's Party or Poland 2050; they also submit projects, and these projects somehow don't get processed - he further elaborated.

- Perhaps within this broader framework, good projects for Poland and for Poles will be able to be carried through - he added.

10:18

Duda on PiS:

This is their big mistake.

- PiS should primarily implement its program and its policies, and not look to Grzegorz Braun. I repeat this once again, I believe it is their big mistake that they are even referring to this, because they are a great political party with a great history, despite the nonsense being told by those currently in power - stated Andrzej Duda on Kanał Zero.

10:17

Duda:

Anyone Forming a Coalition with Braun Will Face International Problems

"Undoubtedly, given what he proclaims, if anyone decides to form a coalition with Mr. Braun, they must be aware that they will face problems on the international stage," stated Andrzej Duda on Kanał Zero.

10:15

Duda on Braun:

He Cynically Plays His Political Card.

- Mr. Braun is undoubtedly a very intelligent man who cynically plays his political card. There’s no point in hiding it. It’s no secret to anyone that he has even repeatedly spat on me while I was still the acting President of the Republic of Poland, so I wouldn't say I'm a fan of Mr. Braun. Rather, I am very far from it - stated Andrzej Duda on Kanał Zero.

10:08

Duda Asked About PiS Polls:

Focusing on Itself, Not Serious Matters.

- Because [PiS] is currently preoccupied with itself, not with the serious matters that truly concern citizens, matters that affect their daily lives, their everyday worries, and that is the result. But it's also true, and to put it a bit cynically, that today it has the comfort that there are almost 2 years until the next parliamentary elections, and for now it can afford to be preoccupied with itself. The question is – how long will it continue doing so - stated Andrzej Duda on Kanał Zero.

09:58

Duda on Najder:

He Would Be a Candidate Worth Considering.

- I knew Ambassador [Jacek Najder] as a person who carried out his task effectively and calmly for the Republic of Poland, meaning I knew him simply as a statesman, a responsible individual who fulfilled his mission. Therefore, I had no doubts about the substantive value of his candidacy again as Poland's representative to NATO. He would certainly be a candidate worth considering [for a post in the USA], as I have no doubt he possesses the qualifications - stated Andrzej Duda on Kanał Zero.

09:49

Duda on a PiS MP's Remarks Regarding lex TVN:

I Will Not Comment on the Words of a Guest Who Has No Idea About Serious Politics.

- I will not comment on the words of a guest [PiS MP Dariusz Stefaniuk] who has no idea about serious politics. I'm sorry, with all due respect. Let's leave it aside. He has no idea, and I don't know who told him such stories [about the background of the vetoing of lex TVN], or where he dreamt it up, where he's telling it. Let's not concern ourselves with people who are embarrassing - stated Andrzej Duda on Kanał Zero.

09:48

Duda:

I Know Many Places Where Sikorski Did Favors. In Berlin Too, Once Upon a Time

- I know many places where Mr. Radosław Sikorski did favors. He also did so in Berlin at one time, we all remember how he called on Germany to take the lead and manage everyone's affairs - stated Andrzej Duda on Kanał Zero.

09:47

Duda on Trump's Words:

He Didn't Offend Anyone.

- I draw attention to the fact that in Poland, those most offended were those who, until recently, were verbally abusing Polish soldiers as they defended the Polish border, I mean the Polish-Belarusian border. This is very specific - stated Andrzej Duda on Kanał Zero.

- I believe we should approach this calmly and not make a fuss out of one sentence and a big deal, because someone believes… He didn't offend anyone. I believe he didn't offend, and please allow me to have my own opinion - the former president continued.

09:05

Żukowska on the Constitutional Tribunal and Dubious Judges:

It Still Won't Be Fully Legal.

"It seems so, yes, that the election [of judges to the Constitutional Tribunal] will take place soon" - Anna Maria Żukowska said on Radio Wnet.

"No, it still won't be fully legal, because dubious judges, the dubious judges of dubious judges, will be sitting there" - she continued.

"It is [complicated], we will have a problem [with recognizing that everything is now fine and acknowledging all CT rulings] if, for example, there are mixed panels, but it seems that these individuals, meaning with those judges who are dubious judges [...] there is good news, because in 2027 they will no longer be dubious, as the Sejm will be able to elect new members of the Constitutional Tribunal to replace them" - she went on to say.

08:55

Żukowska:

The Prime Minister Must Start Treating Pełczyńska-Nałęcz Differently

- It won't diminish us, we have our own Deputy Prime Minister, so if it fulfills his ambitions, if it's necessary for his sense of prestige, then it's a necessary conversation with the Prime Minister, it will be his decision - said Anna Maria Żukowska on Radio Wnet, when asked if Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz should become Deputy Prime Minister.

- I think [Prime Minister Tusk] needs to start treating her a bit differently now that she is the newly elected leader of a coalition group, I can't imagine him not meeting with her - she continued, after the host pointed out that the Prime Minister treats Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz similarly to how the Ministry of Health treats the Lewica club (he doesn't meet with them).

08:53

Bosak Advises Braun:

One Must Give Up Flirting with Crazy, Agent-Like, or Politically Extreme Circles.

- If one wants to build a formation that is to represent the healthy part of the Polish nation and govern Poland well, then one must give up flirting with crazy, agent-like, or politically extreme circles. After all, one of the former politicians who spent many months or even years in custody on espionage charges has recently appeared in Grzegorz Braun's entourage - stated Krzysztof Bosak on Radio Zet.

- Among others, about him, yes [about Mateusz Piskorski], but we also have other people there who also sat in custody for an exceptionally vile style of participating in political debate. Attacking Christian values, supporting abortion, disgusting things. Unfortunately, no [I am not surprised], because in my opinion, this is a method, that is, building on scandal - he continued.

08:51

Żukowska on Lewica's Relations with Pełczyńska-Nałęcz:

We Will Get Along Well.

"It's good that this has now stabilized, we know who is the representative of Szymon Hołownia's Poland 2050 party after this decision, and I think that as far as Lewica is concerned, we will get along well with Ms. Pełczyńska-Nałęcz," Anna Maria Żukowska said on Radio Wnet.

"I think she can be a support for us in many of our program proposals too, so I view this cooperation optimistically," she continued.

08:43

Will Poland 2050 Leave the Coalition? Petru: It Would Be a Historic, Idiot Mistake

- It would be a strategic, historic mistake. Unacceptable, absurd, idiotic, foolish. Therefore, I don't believe in such a scenario - Ryszard Petru said in the "Morning Interview" on RMF FM, when asked about Poland 2050 leaving the governing coalition.

- Some people talk too much on television because it's not always the case that every statement makes sense. Any threat of leaving the coalition is, I believe, blackmail that is unacceptable. If I were the Prime Minister, and someone threatened me with leaving the coalition, I would one day consider that early elections are better, because you can't govern like that - he stated.

- There is absolutely no sense in leaving the coalition. I believe that if someone in a coalition is unable to implement their program, it is their fault, not the coalition partners'. Because every coalition partner pushes their own agenda and primarily thinks about their electorate - he added.

Petru:

If Poland 2050 Searched for Voters Where Razem and the Left Are, I Fear We Wouldn't Find Them

- 'Left-wing' is a broad concept. However, if the idea were for Poland 2050 to search for voters where the Razem party and the Left are, I fear we wouldn't find voters there, because there are already others fighting for them at this moment - said Ryszard Petru in the "Morning Interview" on RMF FM.

A Yellow Card, But No Vote of No Confidence. Żukowska on The Left's Stance Regarding the Health Minister

- This is a bad decision, and we will discuss it. I have already appealed to Minister Sobierańska-Grenda to change this decision, as it is very short-sighted for Poland's future and for the sense of security - said Anna Maria Żukowska on Radio Wnet, when asked about the closure of maternity wards.

- At this stage, I don't think so yet, but we will see if she sticks to these decisions, if she is open to discussion and change - she continued, when asked if the health minister deserved a vote of no confidence.

- No, not from The Left, because this is a coalition government, and the government would fall apart at this moment - she added, when asked about a potential vote of no confidence against the health minister by The Left.

- She has a yellow card from us at the moment, specifically concerning the issue of maternity wards - she added, when asked if the health minister has a yellow card from The Left.

- It's not easy with the minister. We want to talk to her, unfortunately, we haven't managed to schedule this meeting with the parliamentary club because there are a number of other reservations about health policy [...]. She claims to have a lot of work [...]. We do have patience, but it is not boundless - she emphasized.

Petru:

As long as Pełczyńska-Nałęcz wasn't the leader, she had the right to more extreme views. Now she should set them aside.

- There were differences of opinion [between me and Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz], I admit that - Ryszard Petru said in the "Morning Interview" on RMF FM.

- She led this party for the last year, but as long as she wasn't the leader, she had the right to more extreme views. I believe she had fundamentally different ones from mine. However, the moment she became leader, she should have set aside some of her views and tried to develop a common party stance - he pointed out.

08:32

Żukowska:

The Prime Minister Has Taken Full Responsibility for This Government's Health Policy

- The Prime Minister decided to depoliticize this ministry, thereby taking full responsibility for this government's health policy. We regret that we are no longer in this ministry - said Anna Maria Żukowska in an interview with Łukasz Jankowski on "Poranek Wnet", when asked about Left's agency in health service matters.

08:29

Petru on Cooperation with Pełczyńska-Nałęcz:

The Winner of the Election Makes an Offer to Those Who Lost.

- I am open to cooperation. It is always like this, and I have said it many times, that it is the one who wins the election who makes an offer of cooperation to those who lost. I am in the group that lost, because I voted for Paulina Hennig-Kloska, and this is the fundamental principle of politics. One must be able to reach an agreement - said Ryszard Petru in the "Morning Conversation" on RMF FM.

Bosak:

TVN Attacked Us for Filing Too Detailed Interpellations on Strategic and Defense Matters

- I don't know if we will nominate a candidate for Prime Minister. Right now, it's time for opposition work, and our politicians are focused on that opposition work, preparing draft laws, keeping an eye on the government, filing interpellations, for which, by the way, we were recognized in a rather special way in recent days by TVN, which attacked us for filing too detailed interpellations concerning strategic and defense topics - stated Krzysztof Bosak on Radio Zet.

08:24

Petru:

I have no intention of leaving Poland 2050. I accept the fact that the candidate I didn't vote for won.

- I have no such intentions [to leave Poland 2050]. Nothing of the sort has happened. The candidate I didn't vote for won, but I accept that fact. Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz won – Ryszard Petru said in the "Morning Interview" on RMF FM.

- What's important today is to gather these different currents within the party, because the polls are very low, and it's not about the party being for the party or solely for its members, but for the voters. Parties that forget about voters disappear from the political scene – he stated.

08:23

Bosak:

We are preparing a program for the 2027 elections

"We are preparing a program for the 2027 elections, which will be a program for better governance than what we are seeing now, than what we saw during Mateusz Morawiecki's government," stated Krzysztof Bosak on Radio Zet.

08:23

Bosak asked about relations with Mentzen:

Cooperation is at least adequate.

- That's not true [that I don't talk to Sławomir Mentzen]. We talk before Sejm sessions and we settle everything we need to settle on a daily basis. The cooperation between our parties within Konfederacja is at least adequate, if not good. Of course, there are tensions, as in all parties, but in my opinion, they are smaller than in PiS, Platforma, let alone Polska 2050 or Lewica, which is currently split into two parties - stated Krzysztof Bosak on Radio Zet.

08:17

Bosak on the End of the Poland 2050 Project:

Tusk Can Sleep Peacefully.

- Of course, the minister [Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz] is a member of this government, and it seems to me that Donald Tusk can sleep peacefully. The more fragmented parties like Poland 2050 are, and the weaker the smaller coalition partners are, the further they are from the electoral threshold, the stronger his power becomes - stated Krzysztof Bosak on Radio Zet.

- I don't see any preconditions for this [coalition collapse]; they are weaker than ever before at this moment, after these public disputes and divisions. In my opinion, this is the end of this project - he continued.

08:17

Petru:

I don't feel like a pest in Poland 2050. I forgive those who say so, Christianly.

- I don't feel like a pest - Ryszard Petru said in the "Morning Interview" on RMF FM.

When Tomasz Terlikowski remarked that "this is what they say about him in the party," he replied: - I don't take these statements seriously. However, everyone has the right to run in the leadership elections. The party, as you can see, has various currents, and it was precisely this entrepreneurial current that voted for me. It was almost 100 people. Therefore, this sensitivity of party members should also be taken into account, and in political parties, one must approach all of this with a certain distance.

- As for my colleagues, I understand they got a little carried away by emotions. [...] I have no idea [where these emotions come from]. Neither one nor the other has ever ordered me to do so. [...] I forgive them, Christianly, because I believe they do not know what they are doing - he stated.

08:14

Bosak on the Peace Council:

Poland Can Safely Wait on the Sidelines.

- This is a matter for expert analysis when it comes to the wording of the treaty. I haven't read the treaty that is supposed to establish this [peace] council yet. If it is true that the members of this council will not actually decide on much and if it is true that almost no European country is joining it, then I believe that Poland can safely wait on the sidelines and not endorse this initiative - stated Krzysztof Bosak on Radio Zet.

08:10

Bosak on Trump's bid for the Nobel Peace Prize:

An active politician should not be awarded. I see no reason.

- I think an active politician should not be awarded, perhaps only after finishing their career. I see no reason [for Donald Trump to receive the Nobel Peace Prize] - stated Krzysztof Bosak in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Radio Zet.

- He can do whatever he wants [Włodzimierz Czarzasty]. However, of course, he is a leader associated with the Left, so the probability that he would sign something like that, in the case of a president associated with the right, I assess as close to zero - he continued.
