- Some in Poland are counting on this process not affecting our country, that Americans will reduce their involvement in Europe, but not in Poland. This is wishful thinking. We will not be Trump's advanced stronghold, we will not be the unsinkable US aircraft carrier. This is an illusory belief about Poland's special role in relation to the USA - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a press conference.

- Americans are our allies, and NATO is the guarantee of our security, but we are and will remain in Europe. Europe is a community of values, but in today's world, one must have the strength to defend their values, and this strength must be built. The SAFE mechanism and 43 billion euros for Polish security serve this purpose - he continued.

- The USA building new platforms, such as the Peace Council, is, in my opinion, illusory. The EU, NATO, the UN, the WHO, and ourselves need strengthening. Our security lies in this. President Trump, in my opinion, destabilizes the situation in these organizations, representing a policy of force and conducting transactional politics using force. This is a violation of the policy of principles, values, and often a violation of international law - the Marshal of the Sejm emphasized.

- The policy of tariffs, a different interpretation of history, for example, concerning the participation of Polish soldiers in missions, the instrumental treatment of other territories, such as the instrumental treatment of Greenland - all of this leads me to not support the Nobel Prize nomination for President Trump, because he does not deserve it - he added.
