Balczun:

No Orlen Investments Started Under Obajtek Finished On Time and Within Budget

- Many decisions were made in a visionary way, but completely detached from economic calculations, from the fact that projected investments should be financially viable. [...] There are no investments at Orlen that were started during the time of CEO Obajtek that finished on time and within budget. And if something doesn't finish on time and within budget, it means it generated losses - said Wojciech Balczun on "Gość Wydarzeń" Polsat News.

- When we talk about the Olefiny project, i.e., Nowa Chemia, the write-offs made by the company amount to 17 billion. The project was planned for 8 billion, cost 34, and will likely cost more. One can imagine anything, that we will realize the most beautiful economic visions in the world, but behind this there must be some economic calculation and principles of profitability - he indicated.
