Wednesday also marks the second and final day of the Senate session. The upper chamber of the Polish parliament will consider, among other matters, a draft amendment to the Act on the National Centre for Research and Development.

- Specifically, both the Prime Minister and the government spokesperson have said that we are thinking about it, we are considering various solutions. However, I spoke with the Prime Minister and presented him with my opinion and recommendation that at this moment there is no room to return to the discussion about lowering the health contribution. First, we need to strengthen the finances of the National Health Fund (NFZ), next year we are already allocating an additional PLN 25 billion to healthcare, these expenditures are growing, but we know well that the needs are greater - stated Andrzej Domański on Radio Zet.

- I am absolutely convinced that there will be no support for solutions that harm Polish entrepreneurs. Many such proposals have emerged during the discussion, and on one hand, we must indeed strengthen the Labour Inspectorate, and on the other hand, we must ensure that entrepreneurs in Poland have favorable conditions for developing their businesses - stated Andrzej Domański on Radio Zet.

- I do have such assumptions [regarding the president's decision on the cryptocurrency law]. And why? Because, firstly, we presented a whole series of arguments, which I believe definitively refuted the arguments presented by the president in his veto. I think we clearly demonstrated that there is no question of any over-regulation here, that the fees presented in this law are somewhere around the EU average, and thirdly, that we truly showed, also within the law, the so-called appeal path - stated Andrzej Domański on Radio Zet.

- I still hope that it was just political theater, and that the strong arguments we presented in the Sejm, and which I hope will reach Mr. President, will convince him that this is a very important and necessary law - he continued.

- We will certainly be sending further written materials [to the Chancellery of the President regarding cryptocurrencies]. It is clear to me that the President, based on these materials and other information he receives, should make a decision to sign this bill - stated Andrzej Domański on Radio Zet.

- It is clearly evident that the Prime Minister is interested in creating a fuss, rather than resolving this situation, because if he truly wanted to regulate this situation related to cryptocurrencies, he would have started discussions with the Presidential Chancellery so that this project would address the President’s concerns. - said Marcin Przydacz in the “Morning Interview” on RMF FM.

- This is not about regulation or security, but about creating a political spectacle involving Members of Parliament. The question is whether this bill will even pass the Sejm, because perhaps there will be at least a dozen people there who think independently and will not participate in Donald Tusk’s theatre. - Marcin Przydacz continued.

- The President will, of course, not change his mind in this situation; all the provisions will be exactly the same. It's hard to expect a different decision. There is a saying that it is difficult to expect a different outcome if you apply exactly the same action - said Marcin Przydacz in the "Morning Interview" on RMF FM.

- I suppose I can answer in kind. President Nawrocki can also be likable, but perhaps he too should resign from office, given that he cannot recognize such an important law for the financial security of Poles, becoming a proverbial 'veto-bot' trying to destabilize the government's work - stated Andrzej Domański on Radio Zet.

- I am convinced that if we establish the conditions for this visit, because we already know that it will take place in Warsaw, we know that President Zelensky is ready and will come to Poland. We are also, of course, inviting. President Nawrocki is inviting the Ukrainian side, and now it's about the visit bringing some positive effects for these relations - said Marcin Przydacz in the "Morning Interview" on RMF FM.

- I am not planning to introduce new taxes for 2026 at this moment. There are no works underway at the Ministry of Finance concerning a cadastral tax - stated Andrzej Domański on Radio Zet.

- The MiG [29]s are reaching the end of their operational life, meaning they will be withdrawn from service in the Polish Army, and we are discussing with the Ukrainian side the possibility of transferring MiGs. But also the transfer of technologies, for example, drone and missile technologies, from Ukraine to Poland. So, this is a slightly different approach than before - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in the program “Bez uników” (No Evasions) on PR3.

- Solidarity must certainly be a two-way relationship. Just as we are training Ukrainian soldiers – almost 30,000 Ukrainian soldiers have been trained in Poland – we are now also benefiting from drone training. Ukrainians are the best in drones among all the countries with which we have positive relations - he continued.

- No. There will be an increase of American troops in Poland, and there is no withdrawal of American troops from the Federal Republic of Germany - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on PR3's "Bez uników" (Without Evasion) program, when asked if, in light of the new US security strategy, American troops might be withdrawn from Europe, including Poland.

- For large groups of American troops to leave Europe, congressional approval is required. And I don't think that, even with the current Republican majority, it would be achieved - he assessed.

- Poland has been mentioned by Pete Hegseth as a model ally, as a country worth cooperating with. I am very happy about this, as it is also the result of my discussions, both here in Warsaw, and in the Pentagon, and in Brussels through very frequent meetings. It was actually the Secretary of War who first said in Warsaw in February 2025 that he would like to see more American troops - he recalled.

- I am calm about this, because we are planning investments to be able to host more American soldiers. I have ordered these plans in the ministry, and they are being implemented today - indicated the head of the Ministry of National Defence.

- Every year the situation in hospitals is similar, and I have the experience, from managing hospitals, that we always rescheduled planned admissions towards the end of the year if the limits were exceeded - said Jolanta Sobierańska-Grenda in an interview with Grzegorz Osiecki on "Sygnały dnia" PR1.

- Here, the art of management is always to manage these limited services in such a way that they are spread out more or less evenly throughout the entire year, however, we cannot avoid situations where, indeed, these reschedulings occur towards the end of the year, and this year we are also observing such a phenomenon in hospitals - she continued.

- I do not observe any extraordinary scale of these reschedulings, therefore I am talking with the directors, we are contacting each other, and the scale is comparable to last year's - she added.

"The Prime Minister stated from the outset that there would be no increase in the health contribution," said Jolanta Sobierańska-Grenda on PR1, when asked if she wasn't concerned by Prime Minister Tusk's declaration that there would be no health contribution hike.

"We know that even today, we cannot build a healthcare system solely on a contribution-based system; budget subsidies and other revenues for the National Health Fund are also needed," she continued.

"I am pleased that after recent events [...] proposals are emerging from various political groups on how to potentially solve the financing issue. We are certainly in the process of listening to these solutions," she added.

- Someone is giving the President bad advice and has landed him in a pickle, to put it colloquially. It's not a good situation when young people who want to serve Poland are denied the chance for promotion. After all, these aren't individuals appointed by a minister or any politician - Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz said on the PR3 program "Bez uników" (No Evasion).

- These are primarily young people who have met the requirements, completed their studies, officer courses, and want to serve Poland, and this is being blocked for them. Why should they suffer for disputes that the Presidential Palace wants to provoke with the government? I completely don't understand that - he stated.

- I have contact with the President's office; by the way, the Prime Minister stated this during the government summit, that one of our agreements was that I would like to discuss some healthcare-related issues with the President's entourage - said Jolanta Sobierańska-Grenda on PR1, when asked about the President's regret that she wasn't present at his summit, but instead the Deputy Minister of Health was, and whether she would go to the palace.

- Minister Maciejewski, who is responsible for both the National Health Fund and the budget, was at the President's summit, so he was certainly the right person to participate in such an event. However, when there are further substantive meetings concerning the healthcare system, I do not rule out such a presence - she continued.

- This demonstration is brazenly disrupted. The police are present, but they are not reacting. And this is a perfect example of what is happening in Poland and what must end. Both in the dimension concerning the violation of law, the rule of law, the demoralization of the state apparatus, the destruction of its proper role, and also in the dimension concerning tolerance towards Putin's agents, who are brazenly operating here - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Warsaw.

- The time will come when Polish patriotic courts, acting in accordance with the law and Poland's raison d'état, will punish these criminals. Today they are laughing, but the time will come, and perhaps not so long from now, when they will stop laughing, when ceremonies can take place here peacefully, and those who are currently shouting, screaming, and disrupting will be where they should have been long ago, and they will simply no longer be in our country, once and for all - he continued.

- I am in favor of the best possible relations with the United States. I do not share all these fears that the United States will withdraw from Europe. There's even a very practical aspect: maintaining American troops in Europe is cheaper than maintaining American troops in the USA, if we calculate it. It's also not that easy to move so many ground troops back to the USA today, and they wouldn't be useful in the Indo-Pacific - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on the program 'Bez uników' on PR3.

- I think it will be the first half of next year - Jolanta Sobierańska-Grenda stated on PR1 when asked when the proposals for changes in benefit valuation would be known.

And this morning, I am already in contact with the National Prosecutor, and I already know from him that a motion has been filed which meets the expectations of the person who refused to make the entry - stated Waldemar Żurek at a press briefing.

The Minister of Justice was thus referring to the court's decision, which dismissed the National Prosecutor's Office's motion to secure the property of the former Minister of Justice.

Nowa Lewica (The New Left) has presented its proposals regarding healthcare financing. Instead of a health contribution, they propose:

1. A health tax
2. A fat tax
3. A unified excise duty

Not only does it not distribute the burden of funding the National Health Fund (NFZ) equitably, but it is simply insufficient. Revenues from it regularly fail to cover the costs of maintaining the NFZ, widening an already gaping budget deficit that we patch up with the state budget.

It works! After the introduction of the sugar tax in 2021, the sugar content in products decreased by 20–30%, and the NFZ gained billions of zlotys more for treatment.

The current excise duty is a labyrinth of rates and product categories. We will simplify this!

We propose a single rate per gram of pure ethanol instead of a complex system.

That's not all – the NFZ pays for the consequences of abuse but doesn't receive a single zloty from excise duty. We have a solution.

We are building security and we are building the development of the Polish state. This often involves sacrificing our own party interests for the sake of building a strong and safe Poland. We are aware of this, but this has always been the mission of the Peasants' Party members - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

- Responsibility may not be valued today, but it pays off for Poland, and we will not deviate from our path. We will not compete in rudeness, hatred, or foolishness. We will not participate in this competition; we will strive for the best possible results in the areas for which we are responsible - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

"We are clearly and explicitly indicating areas of cooperation with those who are in opposition to us or with the President of the Republic," said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

"Regardless of whether it was Andrzej Duda or Karol Nawrocki, I can find a connection, understanding, cooperation, because security must be removed from the daily political dispute, from this destructive bickering," he continued.

"For two years, I managed to achieve this. For two years, there haven't been such emotions in the area of security as in other sectors," he went on to say.

- In the coalition, we are showing that we can cooperate. We are a loyal coalition partner, solving the toughest problems that have been unresolved for 30 years, such as the agreement on the status of next of kin - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

- We will never agree to the destruction of Polish companies for the sake of expanding the bureaucratic machinery of the National Labour Inspectorate. We are, of course, in favour of control, quality, and employees, because if an employer is eliminated, the employee has nothing to look for either - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

- We will not allow thousands of companies to collapse due to the strengthening of bureaucracy, controls, and the authoritarian rule of the National Labour Inspectorate; here we stand on the bright side of the force - he continued.

- Without the PSL, this government doesn't exist, without the PSL and the showcasing of the PSL's role, those who are thinking about subsequent terms will also be able to quickly forget about them. If there's no space to present our achievements, and if these achievements aren't tied to a specific political group, in this case, the PSL, then it's difficult to think about 2027 in positive terms – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

- One can win elections, as polls show, and even PiS won, only they had no one to form a government with because they lacked a majority. One can come in first place and sit on the reserve bench for 4 years, or one can govern effectively for 2, 3, and 4 years. We propose an effective finale, meaning governing, not two hours of joy from a seeming victory. This is also a clear stance towards our friends in the coalition. Each of us must have our own space – he continued.

- It is not the government side that is talking about changing the Constitution, but the President himself. He has the right to. What is worse is that he behaves as if he has already changed it. And changing the Constitution requires a majority, a constitutional majority, so to speak, which neither of the camps in Poland possesses - Radosław Sikorski said in an interview with Patrycjusz Wyżga on the Didaskalia channel.

- The president's veto is too strong. Please note, it is almost never possible to override it because the political scene is divided in half. And it wasn't meant to throw a spanner in the works of the government. It was meant to prevent unconstitutional solutions where there is a risk to civil liberties or the constitution. - We are a nation that believes freedom must be seized. What foreign force took from us, we will take back with our sabers. Therefore, for example, our nation does not value diplomatic victories. Please note that we are talking about 1918; even if there wasn't the phrase "we will take back with our sabers," we try to create a legend that there was. The famous disarming of the Germans, when in reality the Germans left the Warsaw citadel, where the entire garrison was armed to the teeth, because Piłsudski negotiated it well as a German-speaking socialist. - The president has the right to speak out. The government is responsible for what the coalition promised in its election manifesto and what it passed with a parliamentary majority in the Sejm, and I am responsible for ensuring it is constitutional, and that's it. Why is King Charles III so popular? Because he doesn’t interfere in day-to-day politics – Radosław Sikorski continued.

- Here, talks are already taking place [about Nawrocki's meeting with Zełenski], from what I hear. So I hope this will lead to the offices of both presidents finding a formula, because I understand that as someone who was the head of the IPN, meaning they dealt with the past, the matters of the past are important, but in a new role, Poland's future is even more important- said Radosław Sikorski in an interview on the Didaskalia channel.

- Unfortunately, an increasing proportion of Poles are falling for this anti-European ideology, the illusion that there is a world where one can have all the privileges of European Union membership and none of the resulting obligations - Radosław Sikorski said in an interview on the Didaskalia channel.

- Our relations with Ukraine and Ukrainians are very important, because as long as Ukraine resists, Putin is unable to attack Poland. Ukraine is our functional buffer against Russian imperialism - said Radosław Sikorski in an interview on the Didaskalia channel.

- With each decade, it becomes harder to join the European Union, and consequently, this process is more intrusive and difficult for the candidate. Ukraine will join the European Union only if it adopts the entire legal acquis of the European Union, and this will be very beneficial for Poland, as Ukraine will have the same economic laws as us - said Radosław Sikorski in an interview on the Didaskalia channel.

- There is only one person, one fan, who benefits from these disputes, any feuds within Law and Justice, and that is Donald Tusk. He is genuinely happy about it - said Mateusz Morawiecki in an interview with Danuta Holecka on the TV Republika program "Gość Dzisiaj".

- That is why I am appealing from here to my colleagues, who sometimes run too quickly left or right, who want to jump on someone's head, right, that agreement and unity should prevail - he continued.

- I always repay loyalty with loyalty, I will always defend my people, and likewise, I certainly won't let anyone walk all over me. If someone were to walk all over you, first you'd fix your hair, the second time you'd ask that intruder to perhaps get off your head, but the third time you'd knock them down, and I think that's normal behavior - said Mateusz Morawiecki on TV Republika.

- When it suits the ruling party, they say that the government alone is responsible for foreign policy. But when they see they are failing repeatedly, when they are absent from London, absent from Paris, absent from the right carriage [...] en route to Kyiv, absent from Geneva, absent from Washington, then they suddenly remember President Duda - said Mateusz Morawiecki on TV Republika.

- Mr. President has his role and fulfills it excellently. But the Prime Minister has the entire apparatus of the government. [...] I regret that he [Prime Minister Tusk] is once again not invited to an important meeting, because not only did he say that no one would be able to outplay him in Europe, but he is being outplayed in Europe week after week, and it is clear that Poland is being marginalized because of this - he continued.

- Although he is my absolute political adversary, a complete one at that, he still represents Poland. If he doesn't go to talks where he absolutely should be, it means Poland is being pushed into a corner, is being disregarded, and I don't like that - he added.

- In healthcare, the hole in the National Health Fund (NFZ) is indeed growing larger. 23 billion for next year [...] I compared it, I calculated it, this hole that existed this year, and I applied it, this measure, to next year, and it turned out, and let's see if I'm wrong, that by the end of August, the beginning of September next year, there will be no money left, just as there was no money left today in November - said Mateusz Morawiecki on TV Republika.

- How can I praise them for something that puts this government on a leash to von der Leyen and the European Commission - said Mateusz Morawiecki on TV Republika.
