At 7:50 AM, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, along with the command staff of the Polish Armed Forces, will participate in the solemn celebrations of Navy Day at the Naval Port in Świnoujście. A speech by the head of the Ministry of National Defence is scheduled.

A press conference by the Minister of Climate and Environment, Paulina Hennig-Kloska, is planned for 10:30 AM in the Sejm.

On Wednesday, the Civic Coalition announced a series of press conferences regarding civil defense with the participation of its MPs. A conference will begin at 9:00 AM in Świdnica, at 11:00 AM in Zielona Góra, at 12:00 PM in Pruszcz Gdański and Białystok, and at 1:00 PM in Kielce.

- It's actually a bit funny that while the December 13 coalition is arguing over seats, we have long been engaged in a war over who will write the program. This is natural for our party. We are a republican formation, where there has always been a dispute over vision, and the program has always been treated seriously, and it is from this debate that projects like 500 plus emerged - said Patryk Jaki in the "Morning Interview" on RMF FM.

- We need to launch a programmatic offensive. Fortunately, we are a formation that enjoys the attribute of credibility when it comes to implementing its program. I believe that now we should come forward with a project for a new constitution - said Patryk Jaki in the "Morning Interview" on RMF FM.

- I believe we should cooperate on this matter [with the president]. A proposal should come from us on how to arrange our new relations with the European Union in the era of all these problems - Patryk Jaki continued.

- I don't think so. I myself am not a supporter of that solution either. I believe that the European Union is simply integrating in the wrong direction. It should be integrating more in the economic and business spheres, and then Poland will be winning - said Patryk Jaki in the "Morning Interview" on RMF FM.

- If Prime Minister Tusk speaks of sabotage, then he should blame himself for many, many years, back when he was conducting a deep reset with Russia. That was sabotage concerning the entire state, when he stood at the Polish-Belarusian border, when Lukashenka was implementing Putin's scenario, when he said that these people should be let in, that they are poor people seeking their place on earth. Today we would have a gigantic migration crisis - stated Zbigniew Bogucki on PR3.

"A few clarifications, because it's not just young people, but sometimes people who have been in service for a very long time. That should be clarified. That's one thing, and the second thing is that the matter remains open, the president can sign these promotions, or at least part of these promotions, but one must talk to the president, not treat the president as someone who has to do something," stated Zbigniew Bogucki on PR3.

- Morawiecki, I understand he's referring to the situation in 1920, but there's a fundamental difference between that situation and today's, when Dmowski and Piłsudski sat down together to defend our state. Back then, we truly had two parties that differed on everything, but they were pro-independence formations. However, I believe that what Tusk and his entire team are doing right now is simply a Prussian party in Poland - stated Patryk Jaki in the "Morning Interview" on RMF FM.

- I disagree with the notion that Civic Platform is a strongly anti-Russian party, because they've changed now for electoral needs. And I say it's difficult for me to imagine foreign policy with Konfederacja, and the one you are talking about will be even worse. Which recently wrote a letter to Putin or even Lavrov, in this case, that we should somehow come to an agreement. This is a misunderstanding of the fundamental interests of our state, because it is in the interest of the Polish state to keep Russia as far away as possible from the European system - said Patryk Jaki in the "Morning Interview" on RMF FM.

- They are constantly trying to expand their competences, on the principle that if they failed to change the treaties where they wanted to take 265 competences from us, they are trying to do it through CJEU rulings. - Poland should take the initiative to limit or undertake a systemic reform of the European Union and limit the Court of Justice of the European Union, which is the most politicized court that regularly breaks the law, from whose judgments there is no appeal, which fundamentally breaks the principle of the rule of law. "I will be judging based on practical actions," Adrian Zandberg said in Radio Plus, when asked if he considered Włodzimierz Czarzasty's announcement regarding a marshal's veto to be a dangerous statement and a regression compared to Szymon Hołownia's stance.

"I would very much like to know when the act on free warm meals in schools, the act of the Razem party [...], will be processed in the plenary hall. If Marshal Czarzasty wants to salvage his verbal gaffe in a graceful way, he has the simplest possible solution, let's just talk about it as soon as possible in the plenary hall," he continued.

- I will break a certain rule that I try to follow, which is not to talk about what decision I will make before a bill lands on my desk, because I don't know what will ultimately land on that desk. But in general, I can talk about what I think about the proposal in relation to the DSA and public debate, but also parliamentary debate - said President Karol Nawrocki during the ECR Young Leaders Congress event in Lublin.

"We Are a Nation Attached to Freedom"

- We are a nation that is very attached to freedom. […] I speak not only as president, but also as the subject of many attacks, who should have an interest in regulating certain operational mechanisms through the DSA. On the other hand, there is the sovereign, freedom-loving spirit of Poles, to which we are deeply attached - he continued.

"Correct Premise," but "Over-regulation is a Bad Solution"

- There is a correct premise regarding the attempt to regulate harmful tendencies in the online space. But often, the bills that land on my desk are over-regulations related to European law. […] Over-regulation is a bad solution - he assessed.

"I Don't Know Who Will Decide on Pushing the Button."

He continued: - I wonder if giving the decision and the button for what is correct and what is incorrect to an official designated by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland - regardless of who the current Prime Minister is, and at some point there will be another Prime Minister - and I wonder if it is consistent with the policy of digital platforms or the government to state directly that marriage is a union of a woman and a man, in accordance with the Polish constitution.

- I don't know who will decide on pushing the button, what is correct and what is not correct. So, I see such threats around this law, as a person deeply attached to freedom - he emphasized.

"I Will Make a Decision in Accordance with the Polish Gene of Freedom"

- We don't know what will ultimately land on my desk. […] I will make a decision in accordance with the Polish gene of freedom and without tolerating any new ACTA or any censorship, because we are a nation of freedom - he summarized.

- The President can invite, but he should invite the Prime Minister along with his ministers. Attempts to single out either representatives of the services or subsequent ministers on the basis of ‘come to the President’s rug’ do not fit the formula of government and the parliamentary-cabinet system – said Waldemar Żurek.

- We are of course open to debate. I wouldn't want the president to be nicknamed 'Veto', and these are important solutions so they are truly designed not to be political in any way, but apolitical. So that they are for the citizens, and yet they continue to be vetoed by the president. I would like this situation to truly improve, and we have enormous challenges and we are a country bordering a country where a great, huge war is taking place, and I wouldn't want it to spread to Europe, so we must strengthen the executive power and give citizens a sense of security. This would be the case if this cooperation were good - said Waldemar Żurek.

- I have decided that I want to genuinely participate in this discussion about what's next for Poland 2050, because I have my ideas, I have my plan, which also hasn't been heard in recent months, in recent weeks. Just as many of our members feel unheard, one of the oldest deputy leaders of our party feels increasingly unheard - said Paulina Hennig-Kloska at a press conference.

- It's time for a change. Poland 2050 has enormous potential. We unequivocally proved this potential in 2023. It was thanks to Poland 2050 that a change of power could occur in 2023. [...] We need to reawaken this potential within Poland 2050 - she continued.

- We were, are, and will be a real alternative. A real political alternative that Poland desperately needs. What we see in the polls today is that this alternative is more needed than ever, that people are still searching for that third solution - she went on to say.

- The lack of this real alternative on our coalition's side [...] could lead to people taking power in Poland who speak the language of Russia, who write in Cyrillic on a daily basis, who falsify history - she added.

- Our party undoubtedly needs a change in management style, so that people in the regions feel more heard, so they have more influence on what happens in our group, but we also need a real dialogue with our voters - she emphasized.

- I plan to run for the leadership of Poland 2050, and I must say that this is a grassroots initiative. Seeing my hesitation, my friends, my closest collaborators [...] came and said: Paulina, you have to run [...] they collected twice as many signatures in 48 hours as are required to register a candidate and placed them on my desk - she said.

- I read in various places that 'After 189 days, the President broke his promise to Mentzen and Poles that he would not raise taxes!' This is an obvious untruth! - wrote Przemysław Wipler on social media.

- In the Toruń Declaration, we can read the exact wording of the first point: 'I will not sign any law that raises existing taxes, contributions, and fees for Poles or introduces new fiscal burdens for Poles.' - emphasized the Confederation MP.

- This refers to natural persons, not corporations. Therefore, it does not concern CIT for banks. Although various stakeholder groups will feel it indirectly, the president's actions are consistent with the Toruń Declaration. - he added.

Of course, former minister Ziobro is a lawyer. He also has his plenipotentiaries, and they are using all methods to block cooperation with the judiciary, so there will be an EAW [European Arrest Warrant], perhaps there will be a red notice [Interpol], revocation of passports - said Waldemar Żurek.

- We are also waiting, because we know it is the pre-election period in Hungary, but we also want the suspect not to flee outside the Schengen zone, but this is also a warning to other white-collar criminals, or suspects. We will consistently prosecute everyone - Waldemar Żurek continued.

- At the last government meeting, a draft for so-called divorces at the civil registry office was adopted. This is something that directly concerns Poles. Instead of going to court, exposing all the most intimate details of your private life, and if you don't have minor children, there will be a procedure. You will go before an official and say you are dissolving our union, so this will be an simplification for everyone, and perhaps it will lighten the burden on the courts in some part - said Waldemar Żurek.

- Today, it's a bit difficult to talk about the health contribution, considering the ongoing deficit, but we can talk about other solutions, increasing the tax-free amount, shifting the threshold – said Paulina Hennig-Kloska at a press conference, when asked if the discussion about the health contribution should be revisited.

- I think that today, the second tax bracket is what hurts the middle class in Poland the most. It's worth discussing this; I would very much like to open a discussion in Poland, in the Polish government, on how to ease the transition from the 12% PIT bracket to 32% – she continued.

- It's absolutely not about eliminating the second bracket; it could be raised, or perhaps an intermediate bracket could be introduced at this level, and 32% could be made higher. There are many possible solutions – she added.

- The health contribution, today it's obviously difficult to talk about eliminating or reducing the health contribution, considering the deficits in the National Health Fund – she added.

- These warrants have been issued. Please note that in many European countries where similar situations, even more dramatic than ours, have occurred, the perpetrators have not been identified. So I want to thank our services here. I have created a 20-person team: prosecutors, agents from the Central Bureau of Investigation of the Police (CBŚP), and the Internal Security Agency (ABW). They are truly working diligently; we have daily briefings that inform us. We have immediately identified these individuals and are also cooperating well with the Ukrainians to apprehend those who are traveling the world on Ukrainian passports and intend to enter the Schengen area. - said Waldemar Żurek.

- There have already been further arrests and requests for detention, including for individuals who had direct involvement in this attack. We will act, and we will request a Red Notice; these individuals will not be safe anywhere in the world. Of course, there are autocratic states that will harbor such individuals - Waldemar Żurek continued.

"The biggest problem is that the president will not sign this law, and the entire discussion around abolishing term limits, in my opinion, essentially makes no sense," Paulina Hennig-Kloska said at a press conference.

"Polska 2050 believes [...] that these changes at the local government level are also necessary, but I also believe that many excellent, good managers who have led their municipalities for years will also find their place elsewhere at the local government level, because their competencies undoubtedly need to be utilized," she continued.

"I personally know many excellent local government officials, but I'm not under any illusions that the president would sign such a law," she added.

- We failed to select an excellent professor who [...] is a proven individual, completely unconnected to politics. [...] It is a bad decision that we failed to select Prof. Polejowski [as head of the IPN], but there is a solution, and I believe we will soon find a candidate who will be as good as Karol Polejowski and also acceptable to the part that looked sceptically at Professor Karol Polejowski - said President Karol Nawrocki during the ECR Young Leaders Congress event in Lublin.

- This struggle in the Polish parliament - both in the Sejm and in the Senate - will be important for Poland. I believe that parliamentary circles are behaving reasonably. There is hope - he added.

- The overarching goal of our party, and the reason I am running, is to rebuild support and run independently in 2027. I am convinced that most of our members, and also those voters who have remained with us, continue to expect exactly that - stated Paulina Hennig-Kloska at a press conference, when asked if, should she win the leadership election of Poland 2050, she envisions a scenario where Poland 2050 runs from a single list with Civic Coalition (KO) to the Sejm.

- Exceeding the electoral threshold next year is an absolute minimum goal that we should achieve, and I believe it is a realistic and achievable goal. In the polls, we clearly saw that Poland 2050 can return to the 10% threshold - she continued.

- In about a year, we will discuss what electoral scenarios are within sight and which are best for us. [...] All scenarios, in my opinion, will need to be taken into account, but we will choose those that will be best for us and our voters - she further elaborated.

- The first choice is to run independently, the second choice is an alternative to the situation in which we ran in 2023 - she added.

As part of an investigation conducted by the Lublin branch of the National Prosecutor's Office (PZ PK), on November 25th and 26th, officers of the Internal Security Agency (ABW) and the Police detained 5 individuals: 2 citizens of Ukraine (Oleksandr S. and the minor Sofia Ch.) and 3 citizens of Belarus (Viktoryia M., Anton M., and Uladzimir U.) - the National Prosecutor's Office reports.

The prosecutor presented the detained individuals with charges of acting in 2024 on behalf of foreign intelligence against Poland. The suspects' actions reportedly included, among other things, taking photographs of critical infrastructure objects and locations crucial for Poland's security, and transmitting them to foreign intelligence. They have been arrested for 3 months.

As indicated by the prosecutor's office, cooperation with foreign intelligence constitutes the crime of espionage and is punishable by imprisonment for 5 to 30 years.

- The [USA] is a very difficult ally, but absolutely necessary for us. Simply because it is the only country at the moment, perhaps apart from China, but that would be a difficult alliance, although it did appear in our history for a brief moment in the last few decades, and it is the only country capable of influencing and deterring Russia. Russians truly reckon with this country, they know it is, despite everything, stronger than them - stated Jarosław Kaczyński during the ECR Young Leaders Congress.

- I think that at least in this room, because not everywhere in Poland, but in this room, there are no supporters of Poland not being a sovereign state, and we are constantly losing this sovereignty, and recently Tusk stated that we are losing it in another area - said Jarosław Kaczyński during the ECR Youth Congress.

- In a very important area, relating to custom, family, marriage, it is about this ECJ ruling, which you have probably heard about, it has been stated by Tusk that this ruling will be honored here - he continued.

- If it is honored, then Poles will be able to travel to other countries wanting to enter into such marriages, and they will have to be treated as marriages here, in contradiction with the Constitution, and moreover, there are also regulations that talk about the adoption of children - he went on to say.

- The devil will be rejoicing, and reasonable Poles, who are of sound mind, will be worried - he added.

- When my late brother once said that today's Russia is imperialism and chauvinism, the politically correct people in Poland protested extremely vehemently, but it was the absolute truth. It is a state today that is guided by these kinds of motives, this kind of ideology, a state of consciousness, and it is the state of consciousness of a very large part of society, apart from a segment of the intelligentsia - said Jarosław Kaczyński during the ECR Young Leaders Summit.

- To halt this drive for reconstruction at the moment, because one can talk and is talking, Putin himself talks about rebuilding the empire, one must possess arguments that, in the Russian imagination, in the Russian political imagination, de-rationalize such plans - said the Law and Justice (PiS) party leader.

- Russia must simply suffer a series of very serious defeats, both on the battlefield and simultaneously in these other arenas - Jarosław Kaczyński continued.

"I want to be precise, I don't know if it was a second-class carriage, but in any case, it wasn't the carriage where the most important people were traveling, and it was indeed very unpleasant," said Jarosław Kaczyński during the ECR Youth Congress, responding to Adam Bielan's question about what he felt "seeing Merz pointing him [Prime Minister Tusk] to a second-class carriage on the platform."

"I have an extremely negative assessment of Donald Tusk, but he is nevertheless the Polish Prime Minister, and therefore I would prefer that Polish prime ministers were not treated that way, because I fear that this is simply a method that degrades us, including in the eyes of others," he continued.

"I know one thing, that he simply wasn't let into that main carriage, but the worst thing was that he not only did nothing, not only didn't say 'yes, fine, this train will still stand here for 24 hours, or you go on foot', but he simply meekly, so to speak, turned around and left. This really shows that his dependencies on Germany are very far-reaching," he went on to say.

- This [the detention of further individuals acting for Russia] seems to confirm the validity of the decision to close more Russian consulates. We informed the Russian side that if sabotage or state terrorism were to repeat, we would reduce their consular presence. We are consistent, we act, we don't just talk. Unfortunately, Russia is waging a hybrid war against the entire West. We have already seen murders, arsons, and even attempts to send packages via cargo planes, which could have ended tragically. Russia made a criminal mistake by invading Ukraine. They cannot extricate themselves from this situation - said Radosław Sikorski at a press conference.

- Ukraine is keeping Putin's tanks away from our borders, and as long as Ukraine fights, Putin is unable to threaten either Poland or the rest of the North Atlantic Alliance - Radosław Sikorski continued.

- I assess these kinds of talks negatively, unless, with the caveat that perhaps he was asked by President Trump in Washington to undertake some mission to soften up the Russian leader - said Adam Bielan in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet's program "Three Questions at the End of the Day," when asked whether Viktor Orbán's close contacts with Putin are a burden.
