Is Ziobro's Passport Invalidated? Żurek Responds

- I think the team of prosecutors working on this case will utilize all possibilities, because we know that a person who is sought or prosecuted might soon leave for a country with which we do not have an extradition agreement, and what then? Then we are helpless, the state is ineffective, and all the prosecutors' work goes to waste. I don't want to preempt anything; these are our principles, that we do not inform, partly so that the suspect does not have the opportunity for various quick moves, but it seems logical - stated Waldemar Żurek in a conversation with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

- We are also considering whether it is indeed possible to ask the European Court whether the non-application of the European Arrest Warrant and granting asylum within the Schengen area, where we have all democratic countries, none have been excluded from the European community, is compliant with EU treaties, but this is a long-term process and certain legal considerations - he continued.

08:11

"I Will Likely Address Prosecutor Wrzosek About Her Tweet"

- I personally do not use such comparisons or language at all. I will talk to Prosecutor [Ewa Wrzosek] about this matter. However, we have different temperaments, and I also respect that sometimes there are so-called skirmishers who allow themselves more. Personally, I am against such an approach, and I do not make such posts. I will likely address Prosecutor Wrzosek about it - stated Waldemar Żurek on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

Ziobro Brought in a Trunk? Żurek: That's a Rumor

- We apply the law, so there are known cases in the world where someone was intended – to put it colloquially – to be caught and taken away without proper documents. However, here we adhere to the law, and all these rumors that former minister Ziobro would be brought in a trunk are just rumors – stated Waldemar Żurek on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

- We naturally have services, we have shadow hunters whom we pursue around the world, whether through Interpol's red notice or arrest warrants, but in this case, we will adhere to the law, and there are no such plans. We want everything to be done lege artis, if only because we see what is happening with this matter. It has become the subject of some political scandal. We are simply pursuing individuals suspected of serious economic scandals – the minister continued.

Bryłka on Nawrocki's First 100 Days as President:

Decently Good.

- For me, this is still too short a period to evaluate President Karol Nawrocki in any way. Certainly, these 100 days should be considered quite good. The President, at least in this initial phase of his presidency, has taken action in areas where my milieu expected it. There are actions, and we probably wouldn't agree on some laws, some minor decisions, but in principle, we agree with the President - said Anna Bryłka in "24 Questions."

08:21

Żurek Suggests Possibility of Questioning Kaczyński Following His Words on Lepper

- I saw the statement from the son of the late Mr. Lepper. Today I am meeting with the National Prosecutor, and if someone publicly makes such claims, and if they had information, they should notify the relevant authorities. Perhaps he has some information that the prosecution is unaware of, so we will seriously consider whether to simply question the chairman [Jarosław Kaczyński] on this matter. We will see in what capacity this might take place - stated Waldemar Żurek on Polsat News's "Graffiti".

08:21

President Before The State Tribunal? Żurek on "Certain Actions"

- In my opinion, the President is entering a phase where he can be accused of violating the Constitution. Of course, then responsibility before the State Tribunal... really, more and more lawyers are having such discussions, and I think they may soon translate into certain actions if this continues - stated Waldemar Żurek on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

08:23

Müller:

Ziobro is to be arrested for political reasons

- I also understand that Zbigniew Ziobro's health condition is an additional circumstance. And firstly, this is the most important argument, the desire to arrest him. In Daniel Obajtek's case – at least for now – there is no such desire. However, in Minister Ziobro's case, there is a desire for his pre-emptive arrest – said Piotr Müller in “Rozmowa Piaseckiego” on TVN24.

- If there were no request for arrest, it would be a completely different situation, but this request exists – he stated.

In his opinion: - He is to be arrested for political reasons.

08:30

Błaszczak Firmly on the German Ambassador:

We Should Send Him Back to Berlin.

- We should state that the presence of the German ambassador, this gentleman, is viewed negatively in Poland, we should send him back. We should send him back to Berlin - said Mariusz Błaszczak in the 'Morning Conversation' on RMF FM, when asked what should happen with the German ambassador, whether he should be summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

- No, reparations, reparations, we must demand reparations and we must strive for the European Union not to be a centralized state dominated by Germany - he continued, when asked if that would resolve the issue.

08:34

Bryłka on Czarzasty's Candidacy for Marshal: This is a Triumph of the Post-Communist Camp After 35 Years

- My environment, Konfederacja, will vote against this candidacy. This is, of course, the first point [biography] because it is a triumph of the post-communist camp in the Polish Sejm after 35 years, and this is not only my opinion, but also the opinion of some politicians in the ruling coalition who do not believe Włodzimierz Czarzasty is a good candidate - said Anna Bryłka in "24 Questions".

08:38

Müller:

I Wouldn't Want Us to Compete on Radicalism with Konfederacja

- I don't have the impression that we are competing on radicalism with them [Konfederacja], and I wouldn't want us to do that – said Piotr Müller in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

08:40

"This program doesn't meet the needs'. Błaszczak on voluntary defense training and his idea on the matter

- In my opinion, this program does not meet the needs. [...] This is a continuation of my idea from when I was the Minister of National Defense, which were 'weekends in the army', 'train like a soldier', 'train with the army', so I think it's the same thing, just called differently - said Mariusz Błaszczak on RMF FM, responding to a listener's question about his participation in the voluntary defense training program.

- In order to attract volunteers, I participated myself at the time. [...] I am not trained in the way one should approach this, because from the perspective of advertising the whole undertaking, please do, but this is not about advertising, it's about effect, about results, it's about ensuring that the reserves of the Polish army are numerous - he continued.

- There will be more trained people when, after at least a two-week training, these individuals sign up and take mobilization cards. They will take mobilization cards after the training that has been proposed, this will not happen. And they will take mobilization cards when they are encouraged to do so - he went on to say.

- How to encourage these people? [...] Payment for readiness. [...] These courses should be held at least three times a year, these should be courses for which people who are convinced they want to be reservists sign up [...]. They should [receive money for readiness] every month, I proposed PLN 800 - he added.

08:41

Bryłka on Auction of Holocaust Victims' Belongings: I have some regret towards the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs because the reaction was very late

- First and foremost, Germany has a problem with respect for the victims of World War II, for the victims of the Holocaust, because what happened, the proposal to trade items that belonged to victims of concentration camps is simply terrifying, and not only should these items not be up for auction at an auction house, but they should also return to Poland, find a dignified place in a museum, perhaps other places designated for this purpose. - said Anna Bryłka in "24 questions."

- I certainly have some regret towards the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs because the reaction was very late. I know that this information appeared in the public sphere sometime on Saturday, but that does not absolve the government of working on the weekend. The Polish ambassador in Germany should have intervened immediately - the Confederation MEP continued.

08:48

Müller:

I Don't Want a Return to Balcerowicz-Style Politics, Just This Time Implemented by Mentzen

- I would like to compete with Confederation on economic policy. Because I believe there is a fundamental difference between Sławomir Mentzen and PiS on many issues. He presents this as an advantage, but I don't want – and I have already emphasized this, and they got indignant about it – a return to Balcerowicz-style politics, just implemented by Mentzen this time - said Piotr Müller in "Piasecki's Conversation" on TVN24.

- I believe we are capable of building some compromise in these political and economic programs that won't be such a free-market arbitrary rule, because that's not what it's about. We are proponents of a free-market economy, but one that functions in a civilized manner - he continued.

08:52

Błaszczak Comments on Sikorski's Post:

He Should Resign.

"Radosław Sikorski should resign" - said Mariusz Błaszczak on RMF FM, when asked about Radosław Sikorski's post referring to Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik: "In a way, I agree [with Jarosław Kaczyński]. Scoundrels who faked the land affair, for which they were convicted, contributed to his [Andrzej Lepper's] political and financial destruction and subsequent suicide."

"So, is the head of Polish diplomacy building unity or building consensus in Poland?" - he continued, when asked if he should resign for these words.

"Who is the attacking party? Radosław Sikorski" - he went on, after being pointed out by the host that accusing someone of murder also does not build unity and unity cannot be built unilaterally.

08:56

Müller on Konfederacja:

It's like a new party that thinks everything is easy.

- We have experience in governing, we also know what mistakes we made, and therefore we are able to draw conclusions from them. And Konfederacja, I have the impression, is like a new party that thinks everything is easy - said Piotr Müller in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

- But when I ask for details, for example, for Sławomir Mentzen to present the law on low and simple taxes, because he always talks about it - have you seen such a law? There is no such law, he hasn't presented such a law - he stated.

- He says it's easy, simple - then put the law on the table, Mr. Sławomir - he added.

08:57

Tusk on an act of sabotage:

Unfortunately, the worst fears have been confirmed.

- Unfortunately, the worst fears have been confirmed. An act of sabotage occurred on the Warsaw-Lublin route (Mika village). An explosive device destroyed the railway track. Services and the prosecution are working at the scene. Damage was also found on the same route, closer to Lublin - Prime Minister Donald Tusk wrote on social media.

09:01

Błaszczak Repeats Rokita's Opinion:

He Publicly Stated Tusk Wishes for Ziobro's Death.

- In Zbigniew Ziobro's case, the situation is, I believe, different. Firstly, he is ill, he is ill with cancer, very seriously ill, and secondly, I think this is interesting: Jan Maria Rokita publicly stated that Donald Tusk wishes for Zbigniew Ziobro's death - Mariusz Błaszczak said on RMF FM, when asked why, unlike Zbigniew Ziobro, he is not going to Hungary despite facing potential consequences.

- I am repeating an opinion. But can't this opinion be repeated? We are dealing with a situation where Zbigniew Ziobro has been convicted, has been convicted, right, by Donald Tusk, Donald Tusk wrote on Twitter, "Budapest or arrest," right, and then prosecutors acted very zealously - he continued, after the host pointed out that this is a very serious accusation, repeated by an active politician, that Donald Tusk wants someone to die.

09:05

Coalition with Braun? Müller: I would prefer such a variant not to be necessary

- Yes, a coalition with Konfederacja is possible in the long term, although we are fighting for the highest possible support - said Piotr Müller in "Piasecki's Interview" on TVN24.

Asked about a coalition with Grzegorz Braun's Korona, he replied: - I would prefer such a variant not to be necessary, I would put it delicately. Because if there is an alternative in the form of Tusk's government, then that is a catastrophe.

When pressed whether he could imagine a coalition with "open antisemites and a clearly anti-Ukrainian group, which is Braun's Korona," he stated: - And do you imagine Donald Tusk being prime minister for another 4 years? I don't.

- On the other hand, we are aiming to govern as independently as possible, and if not, then with some coalition like Konfederacja. But the base scenario is still fighting for voter support - he indicated.

09:55

Tusk on the Act of Sabotage:

We Will Catch the Perpetrators.

- The blowing up of the railway track on the Warsaw-Lublin route is an unprecedented act of sabotage aimed at the security of the Polish state and its citizens. An investigation is underway. As in previous cases of this type, we will catch the perpetrators, regardless of who their masterminds are - wrote Prime Minister Donald Tusk on social media.

11:02

"Powered by Poland": Morawiecki's New Campaign Spot

- The world is changing, Europe is wavering. Ideology is displacing reason, and Poland stands at a crossroads. We don't need consent from Brussels or instructions from Berlin. We need courage, strength, and faith that we can build a Polish model of development - powered by Poland - says the narrator in a new clip published on social media by Mateusz Morawiecki.

- Poland must be among those setting the direction, not among those waiting for a signal. Let our money work for us, let Polish companies win Polish tenders. Let every zloty spent domestically return to Poles. Let Polish innovation, technology, Polish thought, and character become Europe's new strength, because the future has white and red colors - emphasizes the narrator.

11:24

What's Next for the Senior Voucher? Minister Overseeing Government Policy Implementation Responds

- No, it hasn't stalled. Work is underway. Minister Okła-Drewnowicz is leading this project - Maciej Berek stated in an interview with Marcin Fijołek and Piotr Witwicki on Polsat News's program "Polityczny WF z gościem" (Political PE with a Guest), when asked about the senior voucher, which is one of the government's declared priorities, and why it seemed to be stalled.

- We had a meeting within the committee we have, so I don't want to personalize it by saying it was me meeting, but I am the chairman of this supervisory committee, which consists of several people. The Minister and I had a meeting, we discussed it, the project has already taken shape, but this shape still requires modifications - he continued.

- It will certainly not be adopted by parliament this year, because that is simply unrealistic, as the Minister is only bringing this project to a stage where we can consider it at the committee... - he went on to say.

11:28

Szefernaker Recounts How He Became Campaign Manager

- I went to Sokół [in Krakow] hoping to see the speech of the candidate supported by Law and Justice, but honestly, I didn't know I would return as campaign manager, and from the late hours of the night, along with Karol Nawrocki, President Karol Nawrocki today, and the political background, we discussed the upcoming days of the campaign - said Paweł Szefernaker in an interview on the "PRZEkanał" channel.

11:28

Szefernaker:

Those who fought on the front lines of the campaign believed in victory

- Recently, MP Anna Krupka, who the day after we were in Krakow, stayed up at night with MP Krupka to prepare the first campaign meeting for Karol Nawrocki when he returned from Krakow to Warsaw in the Świętokrzyskie region. It was prepared overnight so that the first meeting would take place at 8 or 9 in the morning. Recently, she reminded me, she showed me an SMS message that I sent her at night, saying "Ania, we will win these elections." - said Paweł Szefernaker in an interview on the "PRZEkanał" channel.

- That's the attitude I approached this campaign with, and that's the attitude the presidential candidate also had. Was it difficult during this campaign? It was difficult. It was the longest campaign in years, over half a year, really, because for me it started on November 24th and ended on June 1st, meaning over 6 months. Therefore, there were moments when one had to consider what to do next, whether what we were doing was good, but essentially, those who fought on the front lines of this campaign believed in victory. - Paweł Szefernaker continued.

11:30

Szefernaker:

I knew that if the world got to know Nawrocki as I knew him, we would win these elections

- I knew that if the world got to know Karol Nawrocki as I knew him, we would win these elections. That is to say, at a certain point, we need to burst a certain bubble, and we have half a year for that - said Paweł Szefernaker in an interview on the "PRZEkanał" channel.

11:31

Szefernaker on the Backstage of the Veto on the Lower Oder Valley National Park

- The loud veto from a week ago, meaning the rejection of the act on the establishment of the Lower Oder Valley National Park. A little-known fact, or perhaps unknown to the public, is that the President spent two hours in conversation with Minister Hennig-Kloska on this matter. That is, the Minister was with her colleague and Minister Gramatyka at the Presidential Palace. I participated in this conversation, over 2 hours of discussion based on arguments - said Paweł Szefernaker in an interview on the "PRZEkanał" channel.

11:33

When Will the Personal Assistance Act Be Passed? Berek Explains

- The personal assistance act is already in parliament, it is going through parliament, it will now be processed, so I assume it will be passed in 2026, but the launch of the entire system has also been spread out over time - said Maciej Berek on Polsat News.

- If we know that we are unable to finance all expenditures in 2026, and also the assumption that the entire system would start in 2026 was unrealistic, because thousands of people are needed as assistants, who need to be trained and obtain these "qualifications" - he continued.

- This whole machinery needs to get going. When it all fits together, all these pieces of the puzzle, time, money, parliamentary work, it turns out that it is possible. Only it is very difficult from observation, especially from the perspective of the people concerned, because they say: we want it to work immediately - he went on to say.

11:46

MSWiA Hosts Meeting of Ministers and Heads of Services

- A meeting between Minister Marcin Kierwiński and the leadership of the services responsible for state security is currently underway at the MSWiA headquarters - the ministry announced.

The meeting is also attended by the Minister of Justice-General Prosecutor Waldemar Żurek, the Minister of Infrastructure Dariusz Klimczak, and the Minister Coordinator of Special Services Tomasz Siemoniak.

The meeting concerns events on the Warsaw-Lublin railway route. The latest findings and actions taken are currently being summarized.

11:48

Berek Criticizes the Initial Version of the Personal Assistant Project:

Unacceptable for Adoption.

- What was initially prepared by the team that worked on [personal assistance] at the ministry was legally unacceptable. And there was immense work done by a dedicated team, here Minister Karpińska appears again, and her Government Legislation Centre, which she heads, which assigned a special team of legislators to rework this project as quickly as possible - said Maciej Berek on Polsat News.

- Minister Łukasz Krasoń was directly responsible for this project [...]. I did not use the term legal blunder. However, I can say with full responsibility that the project that reached us at the committee stage was not suitable to move forward. And I haven't said this before because I assumed that the work had to be done first to make the project ready - he emphasized.

- Due to the non-adaptation of this project to... every new law that appears must be integrated into the legal system. This is something I explain to students in my classes. You create, you insert an element into an existing system. So, if we are to speak honestly, this was, among other things, the source of this very significant delay. The project was simply poorly prepared - he continued, when asked about the nature of the problem.

12:06

When Will the Civil Partnerships Bill Reach the Government Session? Berek Gives a Timeline

- These decisions, as to the substance, have been agreed upon, the draft law as to its substance. These are legally complicated projects, it needs to be worked through now. In December, this project will be on the Council of Ministers - said Maciej Berek on Polsat News, referring to the civil partnerships bill.

12:18

Higher Corporate Tax for Banks Passed on to Customers? Berek: Such a Risk Always Exists

- Yes, such a risk always exists - said Maciej Berek on Polsat News when asked if there were no concerns that banks would pass on the increased CIT tax to customers.

- Firstly, there are banks in which the state is a significant owner and can try to exert ownership influence within the scope of its available tools. Then, competitive mechanisms should come into play, meaning other banks should adapt to this - he continued.

- If we were to assume that the sector cannot be taxed at all because everything is passed on to customers, then we would have to say that taxes in the area related to trade, services, and goods delivery make no sense at all, because everything is passed on to customers. We also need to assume some rationality on the part of those entities that are taxed - he went on to say.

12:33

Could Agreements with Nawrocki's Circle Have Avoided Bill Vetoes? Berek: We Are Not Here to Educate the President's Chancellery

- Recently, [the President] did not sign a bill that introduced an electronic register for farmers who have to report certain things regarding the use of plant protection products, because he recognized that there are blank spots in Poland and farmers might be excluded from accessing this register due to a lack of internet access. This was the argumentation in the justification for the presidential veto - said Maciej Berek in the program "Polityczny WF z gościem" (Political PE with a guest) on Polsat News.

- Whoever wrote that justification did not notice that it is the Union that is forcing this register to be electronic. So the government is presenting a bill on this matter for the second time, only changing it to state that if there is indeed a lack of access and the inability to connect to the internet, the data required by EU regulations must still be recorded in an electronic file, because the Union requires its electronic submission. You have to save it on your computer, and when an inspector comes, they will connect to that computer - he continued.

- We are not here to educate the President's Chancellery. The President's Chancellery has always employed staff who could understand the significance of a project. The President can make his own autonomous decisions. Hopefully, they will be based on substantive premises, not illusory ones - he added, responding to suggestions from the hosts that this was an example of a minor issue that could have been agreed upon before the bill was passed to avoid a veto.

12:35

Błaszczak Writes to the Marshal of the Sejm: The Presidential Bill is on the Agenda

- I have sent a letter to the Marshal of the Sejm with an appeal to include the presidential "Cheap Electricity -33%" bill in the parliamentary agenda - wrote Mariusz Błaszczak on social media.

12:42

Tomorrow:

Election of the New Marshal and Deputy Marshals of the Sejm. The Session Schedule is Set

On Tuesday at 11:00 AM, the 45th session of the Sejm will commence – it is then that the election of the new Marshal of the Sejm will take place.

At 11:40 AM, a vote is scheduled, followed by a recess until 1:00 PM.

After the resumption of the session, the election of the Deputy Marshal or Deputy Marshals of the Sejm will occur (PiS still does not have its representative), and at 1:40 PM, votes will be held.

12:48

Will the Governing Coalition Nominate "Their Judges" to the Constitutional Tribunal? Berek Responds Decisively

- I will not comment on rumors. There is no recruitment procedure at this moment where coalition groups would nominate their candidates for judges of the Tribunal - said Maciej Berek in the program "Polityczny WF z gościem" (Political PE with a Guest) on Polsat News, when asked about nominating "their judges" to the Constitutional Tribunal, who were previously Members of Parliament or ministers, and about the rumor that Robert Kropiwnicki was to become such a judge.

13:33

Szefernaker:

President Said in His Address That There Will Be No Promotions for Politicized Judges

- The President has been preparing for this decision for a long time, it is a substantive decision based on the President's address. The President said on August 6th from the parliamentary podium that there will be no promotions for politicized judges; he said this on August 6th, and now, after 99, 100, 101 days, there is sudden great surprise. What he is doing today is what he spoke about during the campaign. I know that many politicians currently in power were convinced that what is said in a campaign has no impact on actual governance later - said Paweł Szefernaker in an interview on the "PRZEkanał" channel.

- After all, they said during the campaign, Donald Tusk, Rafał Trzaskowski, that limitations should be introduced to the 500 plus, or 800 plus, for Ukrainians, and then after the campaign, they immediately prepared a completely different law and were later surprised that the President vetoed it. They are surprised that the President is doing what he said during the campaign; this is a president who keeps his word - Paweł Szefernaker continued.

13:34

Szefernaker on the Promise of Lower Electricity Prices: The President Presented a Solution, We Are Waiting for the Government to Act

- The President presented a solution that addresses the campaign promises, meaning it will genuinely lower electricity prices. The bill is in the Sejm, and we are waiting for the ruling party to take action. The bill, which I will remind you, introduces solutions that have been very well received by experts and the industry - said Paweł Szefernaker in an interview on the "PRZEkanał" channel.

13:59

Petru Registers His Candidacy for Leader of Poland 2050

- In accordance with Resolution No. 1/2025 of the National Convention Committee of Poland 2050, I have submitted over 100 electronic declarations of support for my candidacy for leadership.

Following verification by the Committee, the campaign for the future of our party will commence.

All signatures were collected exclusively through eDowód, trusted signature, or qualified signature – this is a novelty in such processes.

Thank you for your trust. - wrote Ryszard Petru on the X platform.

14:06

Kierwiński on acts of sabotage:

An explosive device was detonated, damaging the railway tracks.

- Beyond any doubt, we can say that an explosive device was detonated, damaging the railway tracks. Yesterday, experts working on-site confirmed this beyond any doubt. I also want to state very clearly that substantial evidence has been secured in this case, evidence that will allow us to identify the perpetrators of this shameful act of sabotage very quickly with absolute certainty. Footage from surrounding cameras has been secured - stated Marcin Kierwiński at a press conference.

As informed by the head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, one act of sabotage has been confirmed in the town of Mika, and a second act of sabotage is highly probable, but investigations by the services are ongoing.

14:14

Siemoniak on acts of sabotage commissioned by foreign services:

Probability is very high.

- The probability that this is happening on the orders of foreign services is very high, and the prosecutor's office's decisions, which also qualify this event, confirm this - stated Tomasz Siemoniak at a press conference.

- These events show that the clients have decided to start a new phase of threatening railway infrastructure. The best officers and experts from our special services have been directed to this matter - he continued.

14:14

Żurek on Possible Consequences for Perpetrators of Sabotage:

The Prosecutor's Office Will Relentlessly Pursue Such Acts.

- A special team has been appointed to coordinate this work. Two highly experienced prosecutors who have handled such cases, a representative from the CBŚP (Central Bureau of Investigation of the Police), and the ABW (Internal Security Agency). A preparatory proceeding has already been initiated, conducted by the Mazovian branch of the National Prosecutor's Office - said Waldemar Żurek at a press conference.

- Two provisions of the Penal Code are involved: Article 130, paragraph 7, which concerns sabotage, and Article 174 of the Penal Code, which relates to attempting to cause a disaster in land transport - he continued.

- The threat in the case of acts of sabotage is very high. Such proceedings, if proven, carry a threat of 10 years' imprisonment and upwards, including life imprisonment - he further stated.

- The Prosecutor's Office will relentlessly pursue such acts, and we warn those who harbor such intentions towards the Polish state that there will be no place on Earth where such a person can hide - he added.

14:36

Kierwiński on opposition politicians:

They should apologize to the services for what they said.

- I saw this week, this weekend, important, though not very serious, opposition politicians who passed very simple judgments on the work of the services, somewhat guided by their own standard of work when it comes to the services operating under their rule. Today they should apologize to the services for what they said - stated Marcin Kierwiński at a press conference.

15:58

Tusk Announces Extraordinary Meeting of Government Security Committee

- Tomorrow morning, an extraordinary meeting of the government's National Security Committee will be held, with the participation of military commanders, heads of services, and a representative of the President - wrote Prime Minister Donald Tusk on social media.

16:12

Szefernaker:

President Awaits Full and Comprehensive Information from Heads of Services

- In one weekend, a series of seemingly unrelated events occurred. Each of them could have passed on its own… but together they form a picture of the situation we find ourselves in as a state and which we must immediately reverse if we want Poland to remain sovereign and secure - writes Paweł Szefernaker on the X portal.

- First, the news about a shameful German auction of artifacts, evidence of German war crimes. At the same time, the German ambassador attacks the reparations report, the work of 45 Polish scientists who described the death of six million of our compatriots and the gigantic losses of our Commonwealth. The German ambassador calls this report 'aid to Putin' - we read in the post.

- In the background – funded by our money – the public television in liquidation decides to 'add its own,' airing the film 'Among Their Own.' Additionally, all of Poland is to get excited about the endless spectacle of chasing a former minister, the prime minister's mushroom picking, or a movie screening with popcorn - he continues writing.

"The President is Denied Contact with the Heads of the Most Important Services"

- This chaos distracts and diverts the public's attention from the most important matters. At the same time, 'someone' blows up the tracks between Dęblin and Warsaw and damages the railway traction near Puławy. The President of the Republic of Poland – the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces – is denied contact with the Heads of the most important services - indicated the Head of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland.

"Instead of Filming, We Need to Address the Security of Polish Families"

According to Szefernaker: - These are not 'coincidences.' These are signals of a greater illness that can only be cured by common effort, reason, and a return to state seriousness, institutional continuity, and patriotism that is not for show. The cure for this illness is to abandon partisan interests and focus on Poland's affairs. Instead of making films, we need to address the security of Polish families.

"The President Awaits Full and Comprehensive Information"

- State security is the most important task of the authorities! It is time for decisive and responsible action. Society must be informed, not misinformed, about the situation in the country. The President awaits full and comprehensive information from the heads of services regarding the security of Poles - he concluded.

Pre-Match Display for Poland vs. Netherlands Match Projected onto the Presidential Palace

Presidential spokesperson Rafał Leśkiewicz published a photo showing the facade of the Presidential Palace. Projected onto it was a visualization of fan choreography circulating on social media, which was intended for the Poland-Netherlands match but was ultimately not allowed.

- Today is the Malta-Poland match. Meanwhile, a special illumination has been projected onto the Presidential Palace - commented the Head of the President's Chancellery, Paweł Szefernaker.

Razem Calls for NNB Convening. Zandberg Details Proposal

- I think this is exactly the moment when we should meet at the National Security Council and discuss behind closed doors what to do to make counter-intelligence protection in Poland more watertight - said Adrian Zandberg in RMF FM's "Afternoon Conversation."

- Razem will make such a proposal to President Karol Nawrocki, requesting that such a National Security Council session take place as soon as possible - he continued.

- We will naturally submit it tomorrow - he went on to say.

- In parliament, we will soon be adopting the state budget. There are signals, I cannot speak about all of them [...] concerning the fact that when it comes to the budget of the Intelligence Agency, the Internal Security Agency, it has been designed in a way that will not allow for sufficiently efficient [...] execution of their tasks - he added.

- This would be a good moment to meet at the National Security Council and discuss this - he emphasized.

"I See No Reason to...'. Zandberg on How Razem Will Vote on Czarzasty

- The ruling coalition, as I understand it, has agreed to this particular kind of musical chairs. We are not part of this ruling coalition, therefore we are not obliged to participate in this juggling show - said Adrian Zandberg on RMF FM, when asked how Razem will vote on Włodzimierz Czarzasty's candidacy for Marshal of the Sejm.

- Of course, I see no reason to support it, why should we support such reshuffles - he continued.

- The decision regarding this specific vote will be made by our parliamentary group - he added, when asked whether Razem would abstain or vote against.

Matysiak's Return to Razem? Zandberg's Unequivocal Answer

- I think that stage has already ended, the MP has in fact chosen to be an independent MP for a long time, and with our decision, we simply made her status realistic - Adrian Zandberg said on RMF FM, when asked if Paulina Matysiak has a chance to return to Razem.

- There were significantly more such situations than two. I really don't want to dwell on this topic - he continued, when asked about the two situations that led Razem to expel Paulina Matysiak from the party.

- A political party consists of making decisions within a group and then jointly implementing them. A political party is not about individual political ventures - he went on to say.

- We are talking about initiatives that were undertaken, political ones, by the MP, without coordinating them with the party. Not [it's not about CPK], I am talking about actions in recent months [...] our stance on large public investments is unchanged and it is a positive stance - he added.

Zandberg on Postponing Therapies in Hospitals:

It's Very Foolish for the Prime Minister to Lie Like This.

- I cannot answer the question of why the Prime Minister is lying - Adrian Zandberg said on RMF FM, when asked about the postponement of therapies in hospitals and the differing stances of Prime Minister Donald Tusk and the Supreme Medical Council on this matter.

- It seems to me that it is very foolish for the Prime Minister to lie like this. I don't want to speculate whether it stems from a decision to adopt such an impudent form of communication, or if he is simply being misinformed by his entourage, but there is no surprise in this. This budget is short by 20-23 billion zlotys, according to various estimates, for its normal functioning - he continued.

19:01

Zandberg on the Behavior of the US and German Ambassadors:

We Are Not Assertive Enough. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Should React.

- I assess it poorly. To be clear, I don't particularly value Mr. Mularczyk and I rate his work [the reparations report] quite low - said Adrian Zandberg on RMF FM, when asked about the German ambassador's post addressed to Arkadiusz Mularczyk.

- It is not the role of the German ambassador to interfere in Polish public life in such a manner, and the ambassador has clearly mistaken his roles - he continued.

- Frankly, I am very concerned that a few days ago, the ambassador of the United States was reprimanding Poland and telling us what we should do in the European Union and what policy we should pursue regarding specific legal acts, and then this kind of outburst from the German ambassador - he went on.

- I think we are not assertive enough. I believe this is precisely the moment when the Ministry of Foreign Affairs should react. Both to the way the United States ambassador behaved and to the way the German ambassador behaved - he added.

- I think it is in the interest of the German government to invite the ambassador to headquarters for a while and perhaps retrain him on what falls within and what does not fall within the competence of the Ambassador of the Federal Republic in Poland - he noted, when asked about the possible recall of the German ambassador to Berlin.

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz Does Not Rule Out Running for Leader of Poland 2050

- I do not rule it out, I am considering it very seriously. However, these elections will take place at the beginning of January - stated Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in "Gość Radia ZET", when asked if she would run in the party elections for the leadership of Poland 2050.

- Not everyone [running] is a minister. I have many duties, truly serious, ministerial ones. […] We still have quite a lot of time. The moment will come when I decide - she continued.

19:14

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on the Deputy Prime Minister Position for PL2050:

We Keep Our Promises and Expect Other Coalition Partners to Do the Same.

- The prime minister decides on the appointment of a deputy prime minister. However, this is a "test" for our entire coalition, to see how much we keep our promises to each other - said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on "Gość Radia ZET".

- Some expressed doubts as to whether Poland 2050 is a partner who keeps their promises. Well, we are, and we keep our promises, as everyone can see. We are credible. When we say something, we do it. […] We keep our promises and expect other coalition partners to do the same - she indicated.

Zgorzelski:

Pegasus Proved Helpful to PiS and Was Used to Persecute the Opposition

- Pegasus proved helpful, but to the Law and Justice party, and it was used to persecute the opposition, to eavesdrop on opposition politicians and all those who had incurred the displeasure of the authorities. If Pegasus was meant for this, then I am stating today what is a fact: this was the greatest violation of human rights since 1989 - said Piotr Zgorzelski in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

19:33

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz Reassures on Czarzasty’s Election:

We Will Vote with Sufficient Strength.

- Polska 2050 will vote with sufficient strength for Mr. Czarzasty to become Marshal. We keep our commitments – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on “Gość Radia ZET,” when asked about the statement by Agnieszka Buczyńska, who said directly that she would not support Włodzimierz Czarzasty’s candidacy.

19:39

Zgorzelski:

The President Cannot Summon Heads of Special Services Whenever He Pleases

- I believe that the ambition of the Presidential Palace came into play here. It would have likely sufficed to ask the Prime Minister to direct the heads of services to a meeting. If the Prime Minister had knowledge of the topic these heads of services were heading for, it's not a big deal to turn to the Prime Minister and say, 'Mr. Prime Minister, I need this and that information from the heads of special services. Please send them to the Palace.' There must be some order of things; it cannot be the case that the President also summons the heads of special services whenever he feels like it, especially since the Prime Minister is directly in charge of them - said Piotr Zgorzelski in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

19:43

Zgorzelski on the Fan Display Projected onto the Presidential Palace: I Like It Very Much

- I like it very much [regarding the fan display projected onto the Presidential Palace]. I think that sometimes overzealousness is very harmful. I don't think that if Minister Kierwiński saw such a display, he would have forbidden its placement in a stadium. Well, there is nothing wrong with our emblem, and 'Poland, to battle!' [another common patriotic slogan]. I agree with that slogan - said Piotr Zgorzelski on "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

20:05

Kierwiński:

I Am Unaware of Any Other Cargoes

"I am unaware of any other cargoes. However, from what I know, and here I will invoke the secrecy of the investigation, for the sake of quickly identifying the perpetrators, we were certainly very lucky in the way this cargo was detonated," stated Marcin Kierwiński on TVN24's "Kropka nad i" (Dot over the i).

20:10

Kierwiński Accuses Ziobro of Spreading Russian Disinformation

- Please remember that these words come from a person [Zbigniew Ziobro] accused of creating and organizing a criminal group. So, I understand that their goal is to attack the Polish government and spread this kind of Russian disinformation. This does not personally surprise me - stated Marcin Kierwiński on TVN24's "Kropka nad i" program.

20:16

Kierwiński on the Act of Sabotage:

Hallmarks of a Very Serious Operation...

"It bears the hallmarks of a very serious operation carried out by individuals who knew what they were doing," stated Marcin Kierwiński on TVN24's "Kropka nad i" (The Dot Over the i).

20:40

Minister of State Assets on the Government's Reaction to an Act of Sabotage:

I See No Negligence.

- I see no negligence whatsoever. All reactions from all services are appropriate and conducted in a timely manner. Today's conference of four ministers, the Prime Minister's address, who traveled to the scene of the incident. Everyone reacted appropriately, without any delay - said Wojciech Balczun on "Pytanie dnia" (Question of the Day) on TVP Info.

- And the fact that the opposition reacts this way [with criticism], well, it's always looking for political fuel for itself. It just seems to me that there should be some reflection, that when we talk about the security of the state and citizens, immediate political goals should not dominate here - stated the Minister of State Assets.

20:47

Bogucki on the Government National Security Committee Meeting:

I Don't Think There Will Be Any Breakthrough Information.

"Yes, it will be one of the generals from the National Security Bureau, he will be at this meeting," Zbigniew Bogucki said on the program "Minęła 20:05" on wPolsce24 television, when asked about the extraordinary meeting of the government National Security Committee announced by Prime Minister Tusk and whether it was known who would represent the president.

"But this is not some extraordinary meeting, because it takes place cyclically; the circumstances are extraordinary because the government has not coped, so, I understand, Donald Tusk is now trying to get out of this difficult situation," he continued.

"I don't think there will be any breakthrough information there; the government doesn't cope in such crisis situations," he went on to say.

20:50

Balczun on State Treasury Companies:

The Scale of Losses Under PiS Rule is Still Underestimated.

"I think the scale [of losses under PiS rule] is still underestimated. Some audits have been completed, some are in progress, and some will still emerge, as new circumstances are constantly arising. We are looking very closely at this matter, because I have a strong commitment to restoring standards in State Treasury companies," said Wojciech Balczun on TVP Info's "Pytanie dnia" (Question of the Day).

20:54

Bogucki on the German Ambassador's Tweet:

There Should Clearly Be a Reaction from the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"There should clearly be a reaction from the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I have not seen such a reaction, and I suppose you haven't heard of the Ministry reacting either," said Zbigniew Bogucki on wPolsce24 television, when asked if the German ambassador should be recalled after a tweet directed at MEP Mularczyk.

"Can one say that such a report, presenting a bill to the Germans, is playing along with Putin? People who built Nord Stream 1? People who built Nord Stream 2? Over the heads of Poles, over the heads of Ukrainians, against European interests, they became dependent on Russia. Do they have the audacity today, including the ambassador, to say such things here, in Poland, in Warsaw?" he continued.

"This is absolutely scandalous. Where is the reaction of the Polish government, where is the reaction of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs? It's absent," he added.

21:08

Bogucki:

One day, that żurek will be served in a detention center and prison

- I think that Minister Żurek, if I may say so, as an example of the Prime Minister, perhaps he should actually focus on making those sometimes truly pathetic videos about how they are mushroom picking, how they are eating żurek, how they are eating popcorn, and really leave the law alone, because he either knows absolutely nothing about it, or he is consciously lying in an absolutely deliberate way - said Zbigniew Bogucki on wPolsce24 television.

- What Constitutional Tribunal, that the president is exercising his prerogatives, that he appoints or refuses to appoint judges? Minister Żurek knows perfectly well that in 2012, the provincial administrative courts, the Supreme Administrative Court, the Constitutional Tribunal [...] spoke very unequivocally, firmly, without any doubt, that this is the exclusive prerogative of the president - he continued.

- This coalition, Minister Żurek, Prime Minister Tusk and this whole team suffer from such political dissociative identity disorder. When the President appointed 60 judges and 4 assessors about a month ago, there was a voice from the Chancellery of the Prime Minister saying "deepening chaos in the justice system". When the President refuses to appoint them, suddenly Donald Tusk, not knowing what is happening, says that it is a scandal that these people cannot be promoted. If the president had appointed them, the narrative would automatically be that he appointed neo-judges and is deepening the chaos of injustice in Poland - he went on to say.

- So, humorously, when I remember that video of Minister Żurek consuming that żurek, I don't know if żurek is served in prisons and detention centers today, but I have a deep conviction that one day that żurek will be served in a detention center and prison - he added.
