Monday's Political Agenda: President Meets Seniors, Three PiS Conferences

At 10:00 AM in Sochaczew, President Karol Nawrocki will meet with seniors.

At 10:00 AM, a press conference will be held in front of the Ministry of Justice with the leader of the PiS parliamentary club, Mariusz Błaszczak, MEP Jacek Ozdoba, and MP Andrzej Śliwka.

At 12:00 PM in the Sejm, a press conference will take place with PiS MPs Joanna Lichocka, Piotr Gliński, and Jan Dziedziczak.

At 1:00 PM in Piłsudski Square in Warsaw, President Karol Nawrocki will participate in the ceremonial celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

At 2:30 PM, in front of the Civic Platform (KO) headquarters, a press conference will be held with MEP Waldemar Buda, MP Paweł Jabłoński, and PiS Deputy Spokesperson Mateusz Kurzejewski.

Sasin:

It Was Definitely a Political Mistake

- It was definitely a political mistake. There is no doubt about it, because when a politician makes various kinds of decisions, on the one hand, they must consider whether they are in line with the law, and in this case, from a legal standpoint, I see absolutely no violations of the law. However, they must also consider whether such a decision can be politically exploited by opponents. This was exploited ruthlessly. It's hardly surprising, in fact, because that's what political struggle is all about - stated Jacek Sasin in the "Piasecki Interview" on TVN24.

07:47

Sasin on the Plot of Land:

With Each New Piece of Information, it Became Clear the Matter Wasn't So Black and White.

- When the first information was released by the media, it seemed that there was indeed some scandal here, and that's why the reactions were what they were, but also the reaction of the party authorities, PiS, was quick and decisive - stated Jacek Sasin in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

- It was decided that the matter should be thoroughly investigated, and therefore, a signal had to be sent that it would be investigated by suspending, rather than expelling, those involved in this matter from party membership. But with each hour, one could say, with each subsequent piece of information, it became clear that the matter was not as black and white as it was initially presented, that there was more propaganda, falsehoods, misrepresentations, or even outright untruths in it - he continued.

07:48

Sasin's Theory as an Alibi for the Tusk Government:

We're not building CPK because PiS sold the plot.

- For me, as someone who has been in politics for a while and knows these mechanisms, knows how such pseudo-scandals are created, how they can be created, I will say this – it's all clear. The point is to provide an alibi for the Tusk government, which will now say: we are not building CPK because PiS sold the plot. This is how it will be, I can bet you today that this will be the narrative that will be used in the coming months and perhaps years - stated Jacek Sasin in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

07:48

Sejm Accelerates Zbigniew Ziobro Case. Petru Confirms

- Yes, in both cases, I will vote yes [for stripping Ziobro of immunity and for his arrest]. These votes will likely take place, everything indicates, this coming Friday, between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM, as that is the voting block. This can always change, but that's the information I've received, and we have two aspects. First, very hard evidence, recordings on USB drives, witness testimonies - Ryszard Petru stated on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

- Second issue, it is important what his former subordinate, Mr. Romanowski, did; he fled to Hungary. Consequently, I am not a proponent of arrests as a general rule, but in this case, an arrest is necessary because if Mr. Ziobro is in Poland on Friday, he should be detained - Ryszard Petru continued.

07:51

Bosak:

No one is currently considering the return of mandatory military service

- First and foremost, I don't really understand why anyone is conducting such polls, because no one is currently considering the return of mandatory military service. Mandatory military service in the form that perhaps middle-aged and older people still remember, there is no going back - said Krzysztof Bosak in "Sygnały dnia" on PR1, when asked about a poll for "Rzeczpospolita" in which 45.5% of respondents are against the return of mandatory military service, and 39.2% are for it.

- It was characteristic of the socialist system. Nowadays, we have a completely different army than then and completely different needs. [...] No general is proposing the return of the so-called 'zetka', meaning basic military service in the form it was before Platforma abolished it - he continued.

- However, we need universal military training – something shorter, professional, providing certain skills and later opportunities for development. The problem is that no government, as of yet, has started preparing the armed forces to be capable of conducting such military training - he pointed out.

08:03

Petru on the Sale of Land for CPK:

It Looks Like a Major Scam.

- We need to start by explaining how it happened that they changed the classification of elements of this plot. There was a watercourse, they changed it to a drainage ditch. A watercourse cannot be sold, a ditch can be sold. Therefore, there was likely a breach of law for some reasons; someone forced it. Second, this plot should not have been sold at all. We know very well that it was an element of CPK, railway tracks pass through it, which must reach CPK, and warehouses were supposed to be built next to it - said Ryszard Petru in “Polityczne Graffiti” on Polsat News.

-  This matter needs to be explained first, how the qualification changes occurred, how it happened that a plot that should not have been sold was sold, why there was no reaction to the letters, why Mr. Horała wrote for so long, his letter took longer than the plot was being sold, why then nobody was interested. It looks like a major scam. I am not claiming that Mr. Horała also participated in this, but the slowness of the reaction is surprising - Ryszard Petru continued.

08:08

Bosak on Land Plot for CPK:

If Media Reports Are True, We're Dealing With a Scandal.

- If all the information that the media has reported is true, then we are dealing with a scandal – that is, with an orchestrated action by many state institutions to sell a plot of land that the company implementing the strategic investment believed should not be sold – said Krzysztof Bosak on "Sygnały dnia" (Signals of the Day) on PR1.

- For me, one of the more interesting questions is why this company – that is, CPK – was ineffective in protecting its strategic interests – he stated.

08:11

Petru on the anti-speculation tax:

This is an idiotic idea.

- This is a stupid tax because it can be very easily circumvented. The value of an apartment is more important than the number of apartments. That's the first point. Secondly, if such a tax is introduced, commercial law companies will be established to buy these apartments, if not in Poland, then abroad. Business abhors a vacuum. This is an idiotic idea, and Poles have the right to buy apartments. If someone has financial surplus or takes out loans, they have the right to do so. The only important thing is that there is a large supply of apartments and loans are cheap. - said Ryszard Petru in “Polityczne Graffiti” on Polsat News.

08:15

Petru on Pełczyńska-Nałęcz's Support for an Anti-Speculation Tax:

This is the Wrong Approach.

- This is the wrong approach. We need to create national income, increase wages, and create new jobs, not burden Poles with taxes - said Ryszard Petru in "Polityczne Graffiti" on Polsat News.

08:19

Will Ziobro Seek Asylum in Hungary? Błaszczak on Possible Scenarios

- As far as I know, Zbigniew Ziobro announced that he will not be seeking asylum - said Mariusz Błaszczak in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program "Gość Radia Zet" (Guest of Radio Zet).

- Of course. Donald Tusk announced it while eating żurek. We have a satrap in Poland, who is the prime minister, who dictates verdicts to the courts [...]. He only needs to record a video online and that's it, and zealous individuals will be found - he continued, when asked if the court's verdict on the arrest of Zbigniew Ziobro is predetermined.

- Minister Zbigniew Ziobro has two paths to choose from: the path of a martyr, and I respect that too, only I don't know if his health allows it, because he is seriously ill, and the path of remaining abroad. Which path he will choose, I don't know, I don't want to prejudge - he continued.

- He is aware, each of us should be aware [...] after this resignation from the random drawing of judges, that a verdict has been issued - he added.

08:26

Bosak:

I Refuse to Speculate About Coalitions

- I believe it is a waste of time to discuss coalitions halfway through a term. Something strange has happened with journalists and politicians that halfway through a term, instead of talking about governing our country, about fulfilling electoral promises, about implemented policies, everyone behaves as if we were at the end of an election campaign. There is no election campaign going on right now - said Krzysztof Bosak in "Sygnały dnia" on PR1.

- Elections will be held, if everything goes according to plan, in 2 years. Therefore, I refuse to speculate about coalitions because I believe it is a waste of time and draws Poles into a surrogate dispute - he concluded.

08:32

PiS Alliance with Braun? Błaszczak's Unequivocal Answer

- No - Mariusz Błaszczak stated on Radio Zet, responding to the question "Are we ready for an alliance with Grzegorz Braun, yes or no?".

- Grzegorz Braun's stance is one that undermines Polish interests - he continued.

- Everything concerning Russia, that's how I would put it [...]. I believe that Russia benefits from some of Grzegorz Braun's statements and actions - he elaborated when asked what he specifically meant.

08:34

Bosak on Ziobro:

The organized crime group charge is absurd.

- I believe that every politician should conduct politics here, in the country. I consider a situation where someone leaves the country to be unusual. On the other hand, the current government, in my opinion, is crossing the line by demanding the arrest of a former minister [Zbigniew Ziobro]. An arrest can be demanded for someone who evades justice - said Krzysztof Bosak in "Sygnały dnia" on PR1.

- Politicians are very rarely convicted in Poland. Frankly, I don't believe it will happen. In my opinion, this is largely theater for the public. They have piled so many charges on him that it's hard to keep up with them all. I consider the charge of an organized crime group to be absurd - he stated.

- But let them prove it in court. We'll see what evidence the prosecutors under Bodnar and Żurek present - he continued.

08:40

Błaszczak on President's Expected Support for PiS:

The Message is Identical.

- Yes - Mariusz Błaszczak stated on Radio Zet, when asked if President Nawrocki should support PiS.

- I would put it this way: President Nawrocki, and I know he is faithful to the message he ran with in the election, his election message is identical to the election message of Law and Justice, in that sense - he continued, when asked how.

08:42

Bosak:

Distribution of Funds from the Justice Fund Based on Political Affiliation Was a Fact

- Accusing Ziobro for improperly spending money on the renovation of a prosecutor's office building is ridiculous to me. However, the distribution of funds from the Justice Fund based on political affiliation was a fact. The question is whether the law was broken, and that will be assessed by a court. I believe this should be assessed by a court – said Krzysztof Bosak in PR1's "Sygnały dnia" (Signals of the Day).

08:45

Does PiS Want Early Elections? Błaszczak's Decisive Answer

- Yes - said Mariusz Błaszczak on Radio Zet, answering the question "do we want to bring about accelerated elections, yes or no?"

08:48

Błaszczak:

I hope Hołownia won't hand over the Sejm Marshal position to a communist

- I hope Szymon Hołownia will prove to be a man who will not hand over the position of Sejm Marshal to a communist - Mariusz Błaszczak said on Radio Zet.

- Of course, I think so. For a communist like Włodzimierz Czarzasty to be the Sejm Marshal? - he continued, when asked if he would like that.

- It's about the weight category - he went on to say, when pressed if PiS doesn't have former PZPR members.

- But later he was one of the flagship figures [...] would communists accept someone uncertain into their ranks? - he added after being prompted by the host that Włodzimierz Czarzasty did not hold major positions before '89.

- Yes, I can imagine it, but whether it will happen [...] I don't know, but it would be good for Poland - he emphasized, when asked if he could imagine some members of Poland 2050 renouncing the coalition agreement [by voting against Czarzasty and blocking his appointment as Sejm Marshal].

08:59

Błaszczak Provides an Example:

I'm Helping Kosiniak-Kamysz.

"I'm helping Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. Yes, documents reached me indicating that the Minister of Finance had halted the possibility of ordering F-35 missiles, and through exerting pressure, not by myself, of course, but with internet users, users of the X portal, we managed to get the Minister of Finance to withdraw from this decision, and Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz could order F-35 missiles," said Mariusz Błaszczak on Radio Zet.

"I'm not counting on thanks, besides, if he started thanking me, Donald Tusk would probably dismiss him," he continued, when asked if Kosiniak-Kamysz should thank him.

09:14

Błaszczak on a coalition government of KO and Konfederacja:

For Tusk, it would be sensational.

"For Tusk, it would be ideal, it would be sensational" - said Mariusz Błaszczak on Radio Zet, when asked if he could imagine a government led by Sławomir Mentzen with Donald Tusk.

"After all, if Tusk already has Giertych, what's the problem with having Mentzen?" - he continued, when asked why.

09:48

Will Ziobro Renounce His Immunity? Former Minister Makes a Declaration

- I will not renounce anything - said Zbigniew Ziobro in an interview with Polsat News.

09:52

Morawiecki Publishes a Video Appealing to Tusk:

A Wave of Mass Layoffs is Growing.

"A wave of mass layoffs is growing across Poland. By the end of September, employers reported the reduction of over 88,000 jobs. That's 53,000 more than in the entire previous year. Industry is suffocating, companies are collapsing under the weight of costs," - says the narrator in a video published on X by Mateusz Morawiecki.

"What is the government doing? It's adding further increases. In 2026, the capacity charge will increase by over 50%. A small bakery will pay 10,000 PLN more per year. A large factory will pay almost 10 million PLN more," - he continues.

"Mr. Tusk, it's time to implement an energy plan for Poland, fix the market, reduce costs, and protect Polish companies," - he emphasizes.

10:07

"Stop Lying About Me": Mentzen's Proposal for PiS

- Every day it's the same. In the morning, the PiS folks go to the media (today Fogiel and Błaszczak) to lie, manipulate, and insult me and Konfederacja, according to their deceitful talking points of the day. Then I have to respond to them, because otherwise they would push me too far and create a mess in people's heads.

And then I read: oh my, the wicked Mentzen is attacking poor PiS again.

Listen, PiS folks. I have a proposal for you. Stop lying about me, and I'll have fewer opportunities to tell the truth about you.

Otherwise, we will continue to respond to your attacks. We will not allow you to distort the truth about your government - wrote Sławomir Mentzen on social media.

10:32

Błaszczak:

Tusk Uses the Judiciary to Destroy the Opposition

- A few days ago, the Court of Appeal in Poznań issued a decision resulting in the annulment of a conviction for a triple murderer. This is a consequence of what is happening in our country, a consequence of the forceful takeover of the judiciary by the December 13th coalition, by Donald Tusk. This is a blow to the sense of justice - said Mariusz Błaszczak at a press conference.

- We can say that a political struggle is underway, using the judiciary. Donald Tusk is indeed using the judiciary, destroying the opposition, but the consequences of these processes are bad for Poland and for Poles. An example is the annulment of the verdict in the second instance concerning the triple murderer - he continued.

10:33

Błaszczak Warns Judges

- If this process is not stopped, the cases will proceed, because there will likely be other zealous judges who will issue rulings that Donald Tusk has already printed, while eating that famous żurek. I warn these judges. The time will come when they will be held accountable for betraying the law - said Mariusz Błaszczak at a press conference.

10:34

Threat of Losing Independence Due to Tusk's Actions? Błaszczak Warns

- The consequences of these actions, I am returning to this once again, are bad for Poland and Poles. Also from the perspective that Donald Tusk's government and Donald Tusk himself are destroying Polish state institutions, which will end tragically for our country. Polish state institutions have been destroyed many times in our history, and then came the time of losing independence as a result of such actions. Let's hope it won't be like this this time, although the threats are real, and that threat is an attempt to force Poland into a centralized European state dominated by Germany - said Mariusz Błaszczak at a press conference.

10:35

President Criticizes Tusk's Government for Unfulfilled Promise to Pensioners:

I Would Gladly Sign It.

- As the President of the Republic of Poland, I cannot forget that Polish seniors were offered indexations of 3, 12, and 20-odd zlotys. As President of Poland, I can never agree to that, because that is not why you, the state, elected me president – for me not to be the voice of our seniors, our female pensioners and our male pensioners - stated President Karol Nawrocki in Sochaczew.

- I also remember that in October 2023, among the 100 concrete proposals that brought the current government to power, was a guaranteed double pension indexation. Today, this indexation still appears on the list of 100 concrete proposals but has not been implemented. I appeal to Prime Minister Tusk and the entire government: I, as President of Poland, would gladly sign such an indexation, but it has not passed, even though such a promise was made - continued the President of the Republic of Poland.

10:39

Bill:

I Don't Intend to Wait". The President Submits the "Decent Pension

- But I don't intend to wait. That is why we met today; the "Decent Pension" bill is precisely designed to make the President of Poland the voice of pensioners. In this bill, we demand, I propose in this bill, approaching pension indexation in both a percentage and a fixed amount, thus through a guaranteed 150 PLN indexation for those who, in percentage terms, are unable to reach this sum - stated President Karol Nawrocki in Sochaczew.

- This is a voice primarily on behalf of those with the smallest pensions, below 3000 PLN. Poland in the 21st century deserves to have the lowest pension be at least 2000 PLN, and this bill sets us on that path - the President of the Republic of Poland continued.

10:47

Błaszczak:

Tusk Has Already Delivered the Verdict on Ziobro

- Minister Ziobro has stated publicly that he is a Member of Parliament of the Republic of Poland and is being attacked by the ruling party. This is a form of revenge. For me, there is no doubt that the verdict on Zbigniew Ziobro has already been delivered by Donald Tusk during the consumption of a soup called żurek. At that time, Donald Tusk acted despicably, because I believe such behavior from a head of government who sentences opposition politicians to prison is despicable - Mariusz Błaszczak said at a press conference.

- There is no doubt that this was decided, because when Member of Parliament Dariusz Matecki, who was held in preventive detention, was released by randomly drawn judges, then Waldemar Żurek changed the rules. He changed the statutory rules by way of a regulation, an act of a lower rank, so that there would no longer be random drawing, but judges would be selected - Błaszczak continued.

11:00

Błaszczak on the Independence March: Tusk is Back, and So is the Threat; We Must Be Prepared for Something to Burn

- Tusk is back, and so is the threat, because it clearly bothers Donald Tusk that hundreds of thousands of Polish patriots celebrate Independence Day on November 11th. Therefore, we must be prepared for the possibility that some booth at the Russian embassy might burn down, or that other kinds of surprises await us, but please do not be discouraged by this, as such a satrapy lasts for a strictly defined period - said Mariusz Błaszczak at a press conference.

12:18

Hołownia Fails to Appear at Prosecutor's Office:

Lack of Respect.

Today we expected the continuation and conclusion of this interrogation. The interrogation was scheduled for 11 AM. At 11 AM, the prosecutor's office of the District Court in Warsaw registered the submission of a procedural document from the attorney of the Marshal of the Sejm, Szymon Hołownia, in which he justifies the witness's absence today – stated prosecutor Piotr Skiba.

Today's absence was highlighted and justified by the Marshal of the Sejm's foreign visit. After analyzing this document, the District Court in Warsaw states that the so-called procedural etiquette (“kindersztuba”) was not observed. We believe that the witness's attorney, and in fact the witness himself, has unlawfully usurped the right to assess who can be considered a victim in this proceeding and who cannot, which falls under the purview of the proceedings' host – he continued.

We consider the submission of such a document by the attorney at the reception office to be a sign of disrespect not only towards the prosecutor's office but, above all, also towards the parties to the proceedings who appeared for the interrogation today – he said.

As informed by the prosecutor, two new dates will be set – December 12 and 17.

13:41

Nawrocki on the President's and Government's Tasks at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier:

So That No More Battle Plaques Appear

- The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is the altar of our homeland. The altar of the homeland, the altar of the Republic, but it is also a mirror for all of us contemporaries, in which we look during official ceremonies and often look every day. It is a mirror in which we must see that we are a free and independent nation, despite everything, but it is also a mirror that tells us, contemporaries, what we must do with our freedom - said Karol Nawrocki during the ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

- How to ensure that in the coming decades, no more battle plaques and no more unknown soldiers appear at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. This is a task for me, for the President of Poland, and also for the Polish government - the President continued.

13:43

President Wants Poland's Army to Be the Strongest NATO Force in the EU

- What can be done to make the Polish army the strongest NATO army in the European Union. Yes, on our side, there is a great responsibility to spend 5% of GDP on Polish armaments. Today's times and what is happening on the international stage compel us to do so. In this mirror, we must see that every Polish soldier and every Polish officer must hear from the President and the government that you are our modern-day heroes - said Karol Nawrocki during the ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

14:19

What Germany Lacks and Envious of Us For? Tusk Cites Swiss Newspaper Reports

- You always say we don't know how to boast. That's true, but what do we have the Swiss for? Their biggest newspaper, the Neue Zürcher Zeitung, wrote [...] that Germans say 'we need more Warsaw in Berlin. The German economy is finding a new role model in Poland.' - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk in a recording published on X.

- What are Germans missing that they envy us for? Growth, courage in action, digitalization, deregulation. You see? Is it possible? It is possible. So we are catching up to the Germans - he continued.

14:51

Clash Between PiS Politicians and a Civic Platform MP at a Press Conference:

We Have No Land for Sale.

"We wanted to return to a matter that electrified public opinion last week, and we have the impression that it has not yet been explained in any way, but what's worse, there is no desire to explain it," said Waldemar Buda at a press conference in front of the Civic Platform headquarters.

"We have already filed a notification with the prosecutor's office, because we know that a person of, one might say, questionable reputation is testifying, but this also shows the face of Civic Platform, the face of the honorable Mr. Joński and his relations with the criminal world. We have 1:1 recordings that show where this person claims to have bought suits, phones, even glasses, from a Civic Platform MP at the time," he continued.

"Today we would like to publicly ask questions: which suit, which phone, which glasses were bought by this criminal, was this procedure more broadly related to other parliamentarians, did others benefit [...] from such services from criminals?" he went on to say.

"Did he accept these financial benefits, or did he not? Did he take these suits, these glasses, or were his trips, campaign events, or cars financed, as this criminal, a person of dubious reputation, claims? It needs to be checked, but he is saying very specific things," said Paweł Jabłoński.

"I also today submitted an official inquiry to the Minister of Justice - the Prosecutor General, whether appropriate actions have been initiated in this matter," he noted.

During the conference, Adrian Witczak approached the PiS politicians, telling them, among other things, "we are not taking sign-ups for Civic Coalition," "we have no land for sale," and "respond to how it was with the CPK land." The Civic Platform MP also placed notes on the door, including one with the inscription "all PiS steals" and a photo of Robert Telus from his campaign.

16:04

Bielan on the sale of a plot crucial for CPK:

It shouldn't have happened.

- It seems to me that this should not have happened. Based on the information I have from the media - I have no secret knowledge - this plot should not have been sold. I think it was a big mistake by officials - the question is, whether politicians. The question is, which politicians supervising these officials were aware… - said Adam Bielan on the “Otwarta Konserwa” channel.

- No, I haven't spoken with MP, former minister Telus or any other protagonist of this matter. However, we reacted quite quickly, meaning President Jarosław Kaczyński suspended three main figures who are involved in this matter. […] He appointed a commission, headed by Marshal Elżbieta Witek, and I hope this commission will establish the facts quickly - he continued.

16:12

CPK Land Deal Scandal: Will it Sink PiS? Bielan: I Wouldn't Agree with That Assessment

- No, I wouldn't agree with that assessment, and I haven't heard any voices [within PiS] saying that this scandal [regarding the CPK land deal] will sink us. Let's remember that regardless of the circumstances under which the sale transaction took place – which needs to be clarified – we know that the notary deed includes the possibility for the State Treasury to buy back the land, effectively without any financial loss. And we know that for 1.5 years, the current government, the CPK company authorities, the minister overseeing CPK, and also the Minister of Justice, the Prosecutor General, have actually done nothing in this matter - said Adam Bielan on the "Otwarta Konserwa" channel.

16:24

When Will PiS's Internal Commission Clarify the CPK Plot Sale? Bielan Evaluates

- The party commission [of Elżbieta Witek] does not have access to all the information that a prosecutor or special services have. It can meet with interested parties, it can conduct open source intelligence, meaning it can gather all information available in the media and official registries, establish a timeline of all these events, and make a political decision - Adam Bielan said on the channel “Otwarta Konserwa”.

- I hope this will be a matter of the next few, several days - he stated.

16:42

Bielan:

There is no evidence that anyone from PiS has embezzled funds at CPK

- There is no evidence that anyone has embezzled funds at CPK. Even in this matter [of selling the plot of land], we can talk about the influence of businessmen, a strange influence on decision-makers regarding the land... - said Adam Bielan on the "Otwarta Konserwa" channel.

- To talk about corruption, we would have to see if someone obtained certain material or immaterial benefits as a result of such a decision. I don't know. We see explanations from those involved, including Minister Telus, who claims it wasn't the case and that it needs to be investigated. Although we don't have the same capabilities as the prosecution or the services, of course, all those involved should be summoned to party headquarters to confess about it - he said later.

17:00

Bielan:

It's Hard to Achieve a Bipartisan Agreement When the Head of Government is the Chief Hater of the Third Republic

- You [addressing Krzysztof Ziemiec - editor] spoke about there being some bipartisan agreement on certain matters. It's difficult to have such an agreement when [...] the head of government is the chief hater of the Third Republic. A man who profoundly divided Polish society over 20 years ago - stated Adam Bielan on the "Otwarta Konserwa" channel.

17:10

38% for Civic Coalition? Bielan: I Absolutely Don't Believe Such Polls

- I absolutely do not believe in polls regarding party support for Civic Coalition at the 38% level. It's a sham, a photomontage - said Adam Bielan on the "Otwarta Konserwa" channel.

- I know too much about this market of polling agencies, and besides, there aren't that many of them for me not to know how politically and also financially corrupt this market is. [I'm talking] about all polling agencies. […] OGB was wrong, just like all public opinion research centers, to our disadvantage, in various elections, differently - he continued.

17:41

Bielan Rules Out Coalition with Braun

- A coalition of these three parties [PiS, Confederation, and Confederation of the Polish Crown] is ruled out. I cannot imagine us governing together with Grzegorz Braun's Confederation, after everything Grzegorz Braun says publicly - Adam Bielan stated on the 'Otwarta Konserwa' channel.

17:42

Jabłoński Assesses Hołownia's Absence from "Coup Attempt" Hearing

- A witness, and he has the status of a witness in this proceeding, cannot unilaterally decide whether the proceedings have been concluded, whether all questions have been exhausted, whether someone has been harmed or not - said Paweł Jabłoński in the TV Republika program "Ewa Bugała. Wszystko jasne".

17:48

Bielan:

A Coalition with Confederation Would Be Very Difficult

- A coalition with Confederation, given the current emotional state, would be very, very difficult - Adam Bielan stated on the "Otwarta Konserwa" channel.

When asked who was responsible for these emotions, he replied: - We say it's them. They say it's us. I would point to the aggressive statements made by Confederation politicians, particularly directed at our leader, Chairman Jarosław Kaczyński. But regardless of who started it, who is responsible, these emotions exist.

- There are also quite significant programmatic differences regarding, for instance, social issues, how to finance healthcare, to what extent education in Poland should be free, and to what extent not - he indicated.

17:49

New Footage with Tusk:

Every Enemy Drone Will End Up Like This.

- I am in one of the Military Counterintelligence Service (SKW) facilities. What you see behind me are the remnants of Russian drones that fell on Polish soil on that memorable night of September 9th to 10th. This is how every enemy drone, every Russian drone that flies over Polish territory, will end up. We are working on this, which is why we are investing these billions of zlotys in a modern Polish army, in Polish services, to secure the skies and Polish soil against such objects - says Donald Tusk in footage published on social media.

17:51

Jabłoński:

Until 2017, the National Council of the Judiciary Was Unconstitutional

- I remind you that before 2017, we unfortunately had a permanent state of the National Council of the Judiciary being unconstitutional, which the Constitutional Tribunal clearly stated. Why was that? It was because the National Council of the Judiciary has a single, four-year term. And until 2017, they devised a system where someone new would join, and someone would leave at frequent intervals, meaning the term structure was actually disrupted - said Paweł Jabłoński in the program “Ewa Bugała. Everything is Clear” on TV Republika.

- It was unconstitutional, of course it was, but are the judges appointed then, at the request of that unconstitutional KRS, not judges? They are judges, but unfortunately, this judicial anarchy of some judicial activists has led to a significant problem with stability today, and there is no legal certainty - Paweł Jabłoński continued.

PiS MP Proposes Law Banning Courts from Investigating How Judges Were Appointed

- I believe this must be resolved once and for all. It cannot be this way, I believe that such a legislative solution is needed. There is already such a provision, but it is completely ignored, that challenging a judge's status can lead to disciplinary responsibility - said Paweł Jabłoński on the program “Ewa Bugała. Wszystko jasne” on TV Republika.

- I believe that, as we also discussed last week at the programming convention in Katowice, we need to introduce a limitation on the court's jurisdiction into the law. Jurisdiction is the scope of matters a court deals with, so it should be hard-coded into the Civil Procedure Code and the Criminal Code that a court cannot investigate how a judge was appointed. If a judge was appointed by the president within the framework of a constitutional prerogative, the court cannot challenge this - Paweł Jabłoński continued.

Bielan on PiS Internal Polls:

We Have an Advantage.

- We have [internal polls], even on my way to the studio I spoke with one of our researchers. And they say something completely different than what is being shown in the media. Meaning, they say we are leading. [...] With a 4-5 percentage point lead over Civic Platform - said Adam Bielan on the "Otwarta Konserwa" channel.

18:05

Bielan:

If We Run Our Campaign Correctly, There's No Way We'll Lose to KO

- I am looking at certain trends in Polish politics and at the starting point of an election campaign, if there were early elections, how this campaign might unfold. There is no possibility today that we will lose the elections to Civic Platform (PO) if we run our campaign correctly - said Adam Bielan on the "Otwarta Konserwa" channel.

18:16

Bielan Admits:

Since the Presidential Election, We Have Made Many Mistakes.

- We have made many mistakes, marketing and PR mistakes, since the presidential election. The question is why this is happening - said Adam Bielan on the "Otwarta Konserwa" channel.

He stated: - I think that this victory caused some people to naturally come to the Presidential Palace, engage in political and also bureaucratic work, and they hold important positions there. They cannot deal with party matters.

- And on the other hand, surely many of us believed that this prize of power would fall into our hands and we didn't need to do anything. I don't know if it's arrogance, but such a feeling that the matter is already decided. I think this is human. I don't want to analyze right now who thinks this way and who doesn't. President Kaczyński certainly doesn't think this way - he continued.

Jabłoński Predicts: Żurek's Tenure as Minister Will Not Be Very Long

- Sooner or later he will stumble, watching how he works unreliably, how poorly he prepares these regulations. Please note that he prepared this act, which introduces some categories of judges, a green group, a yellow group, that he will be making some proscription lists there. This act was crushed by the Commissioner for Human Rights, who is not from PiS. This is the Commissioner for Human Rights associated with the liberal side, who completely crushed this act, and other legal authorities are also expressing themselves in this way - Paweł Jabłoński said in the program “Ewa Bugała. Everything is clear” on TV Republika.

- Mr. Żurek's time as Minister of Justice, in my opinion, will not be very long. Because he will be dangerous for a while longer, he will threaten, he will intimidate, he will try to settle accounts, but he will also be held accountable - Paweł Jabłoński continued.

Kaczynski Comments on the Situation in Courts:

It Looks Like Paying Off Political Debts for Civic Platform's Support.

- What is happening in the courts looks like paying off political debts for Civic Platform's support in the parliamentary elections. Murderers and sexual deviants are having their convictions overturned, meaning they are not held accountable for their cruel deeds - wrote Jarosław Kaczyński on social media.

- Is this what Tusk-Żurek "rule of law" looks like? Impunity for criminals is a direct blow to the security of every Pole - emphasized the PiS chairman.

Bielan Believes US Military Presence in Poland Would Have Been Reduced Without Nawrocki's Inauguration

- Flying there at the time, we knew that the most important point on our agenda at the White House was to convince President Trump not to listen to potential suggestions from the Pentagon – because we assumed, one must always assume the worst-case scenario – that the number of soldiers in Poland needed to be reduced. And we prepared […], anticipating that we would have to persuade President Trump for quite some time during that meeting, once the media had left – Adam Bielan said on the “Otwarta Konserwa” channel.

- And President Trump decided right at the beginning that there would be no troop withdrawal. He elaborated on this topic considerably during those discussions, which I would describe as discreet. He also made very far-reaching proposals to the President and the Polish side, which perhaps should not yet be discussed publicly. But if even some of them are realized, I think it will be enormously beneficial for our security – he indicated.

As he noted: – Romania is a country that is currently very often criticized in the United States by the current administration. For example, because of the scandalous annulment of the first round of presidential elections in that country last December. It was scandalous because it happened at a moment when the voting in the second round had already begun.

When asked if a reduction in American military presence in that country was a "punishment" for that decision, he replied: - I believe so. And I am absolutely convinced that if Tusk had succeeded in a coup d'état, to use Szymon Hołownia's term, which he planned around June and July, had the inauguration of the democratically elected president not taken place, we would not be experiencing this positive American decision right now.

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Hołownia's Interrogation That Didn't Happen:

This Kind of Meeting Made No Sense.

- The two events have little in common; it's not as if he chose to travel to Ethiopia, but through his representative informed about the legal situation – Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz said in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News, when asked if Szymon Hołownia had disregarded the prosecution by choosing to travel to Ethiopia.

- He provided all necessary explanations during the previous [interrogation] when he was at the prosecutor's office, but now, for legal reasons, [...] this kind of meeting made no sense and was legally pointless – she continued.

Did Hołownia Break Procedural Etiquette? Pełczyńska-Nałęcz: I've Never Heard of Such a Legal Term

- This is the first time I've heard of such a legal concept as "procedural etiquette," honestly, I've never encountered it in my life - said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in Polsat News, when asked about the alleged "breach of procedural etiquette" by Szymon Hołownia and his attorney, according to the prosecution.

26 Billion from the KPO: Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on When It Will Reach Poland

- We are finishing negotiations on another revision of the KPO today, in the coming days. We are submitting it to the Commission for acceptance. We have just had the previous change accepted, and we already know that 26 billion will arrive in Poland at the beginning of December - said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Polsat News.

Trzaskowski's Different Stance on the Independence March Than During the Campaign:

A Firm Declaration Never Came.

"Will Trzaskowski participate in the Independence March? It seems to be a serious question today that occupies the attention of many people online," said Rafał Trzaskowski in a recording published on social media.

"Those asking this question very often refer to my conversation with Sławomir Mentzen. Let's listen to what I said then," he added.

Subsequently, a fragment of the conversation that the then presidential candidate had with the leader of Konfederacja was played. Trzaskowski said at the time:

"And will you join me [in the Independence March]? Will we all go? I hope there will be an opportunity for all of us to march together, yes."

"As you can see, a firm declaration never came. I spoke about certain circumstances possibly being met one day when we could all march together in the Independence March. I don't think those circumstances have been met," commented the Mayor of Warsaw.

"Unfortunately, the Independence March itself remains an event for only one group, and I would like us to celebrate our national holiday together," he continued, inviting people to the "Wspólna Niepodległa" (United Independence) concert, organized on the grounds of the Warsaw Citadel.

"And let everyone celebrate our national holiday as they see fit. Safely, with dignity, and preferably without causing damage to the city," Trzaskowski concluded.

Hołownia to Resign as Sejm Marshal Even if Pełczyńska-Nałęcz Isn't Deputy Prime Minister? Minister for Funds Responds

- We keep our commitments, because no coalition can function if coalition partners do not keep their commitments to each other. We expect the same from our coalition partners - Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz said on Polsat News, when asked if Szymon Hołownia would resign as Sejm Marshal on November 13th, despite her not receiving the position of Deputy Prime Minister.

- It was agreed that there would be a rotation in the Marshal's position, and it was also agreed that each coalition party would have a Deputy Prime Minister and a Deputy Marshal - she continued.

- This is not a matter of the 13th; it could happen on the 14th or 15th [of November]. The point is about keeping agreements [...]. Those who do not keep the agreement, if there are such people, will show how they treat the coalition. We keep our agreements, and I understand that others will also keep this agreement, that's how I think about it - she added, when pressed on what would happen if she did not receive the Deputy Prime Minister position by November 13th.

20:06

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Tusk's Stance Regarding the Deputy Prime Minister Position for Her:

Essentially, He Said It Would Happen.

- I can quote, the Prime Minister essentially said that it would happen and that there is no problem with it, so I don't know if that's restraint. It's rather a statement that there is an agreement, and it will be kept - Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz said in Polsat News, when asked how she assessed the Prime Minister's restraint regarding the Deputy Prime Minister position for her.

20:13

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz Responds to Morawiecki on Employee Layoffs:

This is the Indicator to Use.

- There is an indicator that illustrates whether there is a problem with employment in Poland, or whether there isn't, and it's called the unemployment rate - said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in an interview with Polsat News, when asked about Mateusz Morawiecki's post concerning layoffs in Poland.

- This rate in Poland is just over 3%, it is essentially the lowest in the European Union, Malta and Slovenia have lower, if I remember correctly, it is half the EU average and more than half the average in the eurozone, and this is the indicator to use - she continued.

- Some jobs are closed, other jobs are created, and quoting isolated data torn out of context and raising a fuss about them again has little to do with an overview of the economy - she went on to say.

Launching a Bid for Poland 2050 Leadership? Pełczyńska-Nałęcz Responds

- I don't rule out running [for the leadership of Poland 2050], but we still have plenty of time, so at this moment I am focusing on other things, but I don't rule it out - said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in Polsat News.

20:25

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on the Party Name Changes Ahead:

It Will Definitely Happen.

- The reason this "Szymon Hołownia" part came about is precisely because some, let's call them maliciously, [...] registered a party, which they never used for anything, called "Polska 2050" [...] the only way out was "Polska 2050 Szymona Hołowni" - said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Polsat News, when asked about the future name of Polska 2050.

- Szymon Hołownia has repeatedly declared that he wants this second part [of the name] to disappear at some point, and it will definitely happen. No further surnames are an option - she continued.

- There will be no surname, and the party's name is a serious matter for us. This Polska 2050 comes from our DNA; we think about solutions not just for the here and now, but far into the future - she elaborated.
