- I think there was indeed a slip-up, a mistake. I listened to that statement; the journalist asked a question about Poland, but then about statements from August concerning Ukraine, and President Trump, it seems, was responding regarding Ukraine - Marcin Przydacz said in the "Graffiti" program on Polsat News, when asked about Donald Trump’s words to Fox News: “Well, we are helping with intelligence. But when I spoke about air support, I meant security after the war ends. So after the war ends, we will help ensure peace, and I think that will happen eventually.”
- Because indeed, this fits Ukraine. Ukraine is supported with intelligence, not militarily, while Poland is supported both with intelligence and militarily… I think it was really about Ukraine, and there’s no need to look for unnecessary emotions or an unnecessary news story here - he stated.
- Sometimes it just happens that way; politicians – and journalists too – sometimes say something slightly different from what they actually meant - he added.
