- Minister Sikorski has repeatedly stated that – particularly with a new president, there's a new opening – he is ready to discuss both candidacies [for ambassadors] already put forward and those to be considered in the future, and that a compromise is possible, said Marcin Bosacki at a press conference after a meeting with Marcin Przydacz, head of the presidential BPM.

- However, for this compromise, both gentlemen – namely, the President and Deputy Prime Minister Sikorski – must agree in accordance with the law and based on the provisions of the Constitution. It cannot be a dictate from one side. We will certainly not agree to that, he indicated.

- Minister Sikorski is ready for a compromise on personnel matters. The only condition is that their direct meeting must finally take place, he emphasized.
