PiS MEPs Present a Gift to the Prime Minister in Front of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister:
One of the Biggest Scandals Since 1989.
- This is one of the biggest scandals since 1989, because it involves the expenditure of public, European funds senselessly, on luxury items, without control, without checks, without verification, to people who are often associated with KO activists or are even their spouses. Such a scandal, revealed online by the government itself, which published a map showing the co-financing, has never been seen in the history of the Third Polish Republic - said Tobiasz Bocheński at a press briefing in front of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
- We learned yesterday that PLN 400,000 is going towards non-alcoholic beer in Wejcherowo, PLN 400,000 to a company registered at an address where there is a swingers' club. PLN 400,000 to the "Herring and Vodka Ministry" in Piotrków Trybunalski and Radomsko. This is not only a matter that we will investigate, thoroughly examine using parliamentary inspections and reports to the prosecutor's office, but also, when the government websites finally get back online, we will be checking both the National Court Register and the map of these expenditures to identify all beneficiaries of these funds - said the PiS MEP.
- And we will find the answer to the question that half of Poland is asking - whether the individuals who received co-financing under this PLN 1.2 billion are linked to donations to KO or to Rafał Trzaskowski's campaign - he added.
As Bocheński said: - Starting Monday, an operation will commence aimed at thoroughly clarifying this matter, all connections, dependencies, decision-making issues, not only those of the KO MPs from the spotlight, like the richest, as some media report, KO MP who sees nothing wrong with his wife receiving money for a restaurant, but we will also be checking those local voivodes, local councillors in Poland.

"We Will Not Give Up Polish Land": Nawrocki on Moratorium Extension
- Yes, today we stand on the land from which the main impulse of Polish farmers originated, stating that we will not give up Polish land, and for this impulse from 2015, I thank you. After 2016, it was possible to introduce solutions that defended this entire process against the sale of Polish land. In the years 2016, and this is guaranteed until 2026, we managed to halt this detrimental process on a significant scale,” stated President Karol Nawrocki during a meeting with farmers in West Pomerania.
- Thanks to you in West Pomerania, who paid a specific price for this, because many of you were arrested and, in a sense, persecuted, it was possible to halt this process. However, this law on the protection of the Polish countryside already calls upon the Polish parliamentary majority and the Polish government, in accordance with my election promises, to extend the moratorium on the ban of Polish land sales, and I signed this today,” he continued.

This commitment will give us the potential to react to threats stemming from the EU agreement with Mercosur countries and threats arising from unequal competition from Ukraine - stated President Karol Nawrocki during a meeting with farmers in West Pomerania.
- I am reaching out, beyond politics, to all circles in the Polish parliament and to the Polish government, so that we adopt a law with a new preamble that will give us, both the government and the president, a chance to react in situations where the EU agreement with Mercosur countries comes into force or when we start to be flooded again by unequal competition from Ukraine - he continued.
