At **8:30 AM**, a press conference will be held at the PiS headquarters with the participation of PiS MPs Paweł Szefernaker, Przemysław Czarnek, and Andrzej Śliwka.

At **12:00 PM**, President Andrzej Duda and his wife Agata Kornhauser-Duda will take part in the ceremonial Gala of the AgroLiga 2024 Competition at the Presidential Palace. A presidential address is planned after the gala.

At **2:00 PM**, a press conference of the PSL-TD parliamentary club will be held in the Sejm, with the participation of Minister Krzysztof Paszyk and Deputy Minister Miłosz Motyka.

At **3:00 PM**, a meeting with local government officials involving PiS Deputy Chairman, MP Mateusz Morawiecki will be held at the municipal office in Stare Miasto. Then, at **5:00 PM**, the former prime minister will meet with residents of Konin.

At **8:00 PM**, a presidential debate will begin, jointly organized by Telewizja Polska, TVN24, and Polsat News. The debate will feature KO's presidential candidate Rafał Trzaskowski and PiS-backed presidential candidate Karol Nawrocki, and will be hosted by Jacek Prusinowski, a journalist from "Super Express".

The debate will last approximately 90 minutes and will consist of 6 thematic blocks: health, international policy, economy, social policy, security, and worldview. The debate will take place in the photo studio at ul. Jana Pawła Woronicza 17 in Warsaw.

“No, not specifically […] we’ll see as things develop,” said Joanna Senyszyn in an interview with Agata Adamek on TVN24’s “One-on-One,” when asked if she had a specific time and place arranged to meet with Rafał Trzaskowski.

“But I would be even more willing to meet with Tusk and Kaczyński as part of my ‘peace and tranquility’ project, because it is they who unleashed this war, they are waging the Polish-Polish war, and after all, we are of a similar age and, in truth, all three of us must realize that the future belongs to the young and that we should finally end these disputes. I am very concerned that there are to be two marches; I would want it to be one march for Poland, for its citizens,” she continued.

“They probably wouldn’t want to meet with me and discuss this, because this war is beneficial for both political groupings,” she went on to say.

– Nothing will happen [regarding abortion liberalization] this term, simply because the PSL is blocking it. [The President] will have nothing to sign […] there has already been an attempt, and nothing came of it – said Joanna Senyszyn on TVN24.

– For me, this constant excuse that Duda won't sign is a bit ridiculous. If 500 bills passed by the Sejm were lying on his desk and he refused to sign them, that would be one thing, but so far he has signed over 90% of those he has received, so this is just a pretext – she continued.

– I do not expect promises from the president that he will do this, because it is not within his purview. However, I expect that when a president is elected, we will then address this, and I will actively participate in it […] through advisory services – she added.

– We have talked about this for many years. And here it could be said that both PiS and PO have a negative legacy when it comes to complicating the Polish tax system and introducing new taxes, so what we can try to measure is exclusively the distance between the candidates and their parties — stated Krzysztof Bosak on RMF FM.

– Regardless of the fact that I received these 215,000 votes, another approximately 250,000 young people between 15 and 18 years old have become my fans, and they are also very much hoping that I will create some new political grouping – Joanna Senyszyn said on TVN24.

– I will create, perhaps for now an association; I have one, 'Polka potrafi' (Polish Woman Can Do It), so maybe it will also handle the organization – she said, when asked if she would create a new party.

– It will be a completely democratic, bottom-up grouping [...] young people and these members will decide how to compose the lists for the Sejm; nothing will be imposed by the party – she continued.

– In Karol Nawrocki's case, however, he is a man who has not been involved in party politics, whereas Trzaskowski is a multiple, one might say, recidivist when it comes to participating in Donald Tusk's governments and his political operations. After all, he was a member of the previous government that temporarily raised our VAT to 23%, and we've been stuck with that ever since. It seems that the 10th anniversary of that temporary VAT hike, originally for two years, is already behind us – stated Krzysztof Bosak on RMF FM.

– I always said that Karol Nawrocki is a man who should not have been nominated by PiS at all, but that was probably Jarosław Kaczyński's idea to field someone from outside the party, because even if he gets a good result, it will not threaten Kaczyński's leadership. This is more or less the same way of thinking that Czarzasty has – said Joanna Senyszyn on TVN24.

– Participation in organized brawls, this whole shady past in general is quite terrifying in any person, let alone in a presidential candidate – she continued.

– It's a simple question, because I have declared many times that I will [in the second round] vote against Rafał Trzaskowski. I will cast a valid vote. The logical conclusion is [that I will vote for Karol Nawrocki], however, I am not saying this directly because I do not want to get involved in the politics of candidates put forward by competing parties – stated Krzysztof Bosak on RMF FM.

– I am not in that lot [with Zandberg and Biejat]; I am the Left. Indeed, both Zandberg and Biejat are from the Razem party. The fact that Magda divided the Razem party roughly in half meant she also faced the consequences, reflected in a poor result. She's happy about it, calling it a wonderful result, but it's a result that doesn't secure entry into the Sejm, so Czarzasty's faction will likely not be in the next Sejm – said Joanna Senyszyn on TVN24.

– [Sławomir Mentzen] reserves the right to make a clear declaration or to suspend his assessment, and let's wait for that conversation. Today there's a debate, tomorrow a meeting of Rafał Trzaskowski with Sławomir Mentzen – if he doesn't back out, we'll see what happens next, and then Sławomir Mentzen's assessment will follow – stated Krzysztof Bosak on RMF FM.

– He probably thinks primarily about not overworking himself, and taking on such a ministry [housing] is a tremendously demanding job, – said Joanna Senyszyn on TVN24, when asked whether Razem joining the government and Adrian Zandberg taking responsibility, for example, for housing, is something he would consider.

– No, not that. But right now he will try to lead his party to an independent run in the elections and get into the Sejm, – she continued, when asked if she meant to say that Zandberg is a lazy politician.

– I believe so [that Razem has a chance to get into the next Sejm without running in a coalition], that it has a better chance than Czarzasty, – she added.

– Karol Nawrocki's explanations sound reasonably consistent [regarding the studio apartment affair]. Karol Nawrocki is left with a baggage of doubts which, in my opinion, may perhaps never be resolved. Mr. Jerzy may perhaps never speak publicly – stated Krzysztof Bosak on RMF FM.

– It always seemed to me that Sławomir Mentzen's voters – those who met him during the election campaign, at least, and those who hesitated whether to vote for Sławomir Mentzen or, for example, me – were people who valued sincerity. They valued someone who holds views and can defend them, rather than someone who can easily bend for political purposes, showing they have no backbone at all. And that's somewhat how it looked – stated Adrian Zandberg on the program "Graffiti" on Polsat News.

– Overall, this campaign before the runoff seems to proceed mainly in the spirit of the motto: "What's the harm in promising?" And I think that's somewhat how it looks, and frankly, in my opinion, it's just distasteful – he added.

– When I look at Karol Nawrocki, I see a guy who, by fawning over Mentzen, negates what was good [that PiS implemented from social programs]. I think that if he were given a piece of paper to sign, stating that 500+ should be scrapped, he would sign that 500+ should be scrapped, and would even smile and say: 'Thank you, Mr. Mentzen, you are an authority to me' – Adrian Zandberg said on Polsat News.

– An appeal to all PiS supporters, to all Poles for whom the fate of the Republic of Poland is important, to all patriotic communities, to participate on Sunday at 12:00 PM in the march for Poland, which we are organizing in Warsaw. It begins at the De Gaulle Roundabout and we will proceed towards Castle Square – said Paweł Szefernaker at a press conference.

– We appeal to you to participate because these elections are extremely important. These elections and this campaign reveal the stakes of these elections. Yesterday, we heard Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who said on one of the television channels that one should no longer talk about who holds what views, [...] but rather that Karol Nawrocki should be attacked right now. And this shows how brutal the campaign against Karol Nawrocki will be in the coming days – he stated.

– You see a man [Donald Tusk on TVN24] who is visibly frightened, who stutters when, on TVN, he begins to announce mud-slinging and hate against Karol Nawrocki for the next few days. Of course, we knew this; we were prepared. We know that when they no longer have any arguments, all that's left for them is mud-slinging and hate. That's why they're calling people in Gdańsk, even journalists sympathetic to Tusk and Trzaskowski, to find anything at all – stated Przemysław Czarnek at a press conference.

– Karol Nawrocki has held very important public positions since 2017. Since 2017, he was the director of the Museum of the Second World War, and for several years now he has been the president of the IPN. He was vetted by security services that were subordinate to both this government and the previous one. Somehow, until now, it never occurred to the Prime Minister of the Polish government, responsible for state security, to inform anyone over the past years, and these six months of the election campaign, that something was amiss. It only occurred to him a week before the elections, before the second round, knowing that everything they had was slipping from their grasp – he continued.

As the PiS MP said: – Mr. Tusk, these new pieces of information will be new mud-slinging, new hate, new defamation, new insults, for which we are prepared and for which we will hold you accountable. This is not how you run a campaign; this is not how a Prime Minister acts, who is constitutionally responsible for internal security in the Polish state.

– My proposition is as follows. If Rafał Trzaskowski takes what he says seriously, how much common ground he claims to share with us regarding housing policy or the approach to healthcare – which, I must admit, has been hard to notice in recent months – then perhaps he should prove it in practice – stated Adrian Zandberg on Polsat News.

– Let's meet in the Sejm, let's hold an additional Sejm sitting. There are two important things that need urgent fixing: we have a dramatic situation in the NFZ and a dramatic situation in healthcare. The budget needs to be amended immediately, and 20 billion zlotys must be found to plug the hole in the NFZ – he continued.

– There are ready-made housing solutions, after all. I'm not talking about our housing solutions, but about those solutions that originated within the government and simply need to be unblocked, voted on, and launched – he went on.

– People in Poland are already deeply disappointed that politics is merely about making empty promises and then failing to keep them. This also applies to millions who, a year and a half ago, voted for political change, including Rafał Trzaskowski's party, and were simply fooled, after all, the '100 promises in 100 days' simply weren't kept – said Adrian Zandberg on Polsat News.

– No, from what we've learned, that was a fake story circulated by PO's media team. Why? That's a question you should rather ask them. I want change, real policy change, not just a position without any policy change. I would very gladly take responsibility, but only with political consensus for real change. Taking a position just to politely endorse something that isn't working, that doesn't interest me at all – stated Adrian Zandberg on Polsat News.

"This is another debate, one of the stages between the first and second rounds. We will primarily show what kind of Poland Karol Nawrocki wants. I am convinced that the majority of Poles want such a Poland – a safe, sovereign, developing, and normal one – and this is the Poland Karol Nawrocki will discuss during today's debate," stated Paweł Szefernaker at a press conference.

– Their campaign is faltering; Rafał Trzaskowski's campaign is faltering. From the very beginning, he has had no idea how to convince Poles to support him. Rafał Trzaskowski started this campaign with over 40% support in the polls, only for it to drop to 30%, effectively a tie with Karol Nawrocki in the first round. On the other side, there is great desperation, great fear, and this fear manifests through the aggression of PO politicians, Trzaskowski's inner circle, and Prime Minister Tusk himself – said Paweł Szefernaker at a press conference.

– We have received information; individuals from Gdańsk have contacted Karol Nawrocki's campaign headquarters, reporting calls from politicians opposed to Karol Nawrocki, and journalists, asking what they might be able to reveal, and perhaps what damaging information they could find on Karol Nawrocki – he stated.

– I will answer you with a quote: “Everyone had some wild episodes in their youth. And that's how it should be. If someone hasn't done something in their youth that they later feel a bit ashamed of, they're not a full-blooded person.” Do you know whose statement this is? Donald Tusk's, when he was asked about his involvement in pre-arranged brawls. Donald Tusk himself said he participated in such events organized by football fans – said Paweł Szefernaker at a press conference.

– Until yesterday, no one from the public or journalists had asked Donald Tusk about it; no one had posed the kind of questions you are asking now. Since 2007, Donald Tusk and the public have known that he participated in such events. The Prime Minister of the Polish government. Has anyone ever asked him about what you are currently asking the presidential candidate's staff? – he stated.

"Everything Karol Nawrocki had to say on this matter [of organized brawls], he said yesterday. He is not ashamed that he had such an episode. He doesn't lie, unlike other candidates who constantly change their minds and forget about certain issues," said Paweł Szefernaker at a press conference.

"He addressed this during a meeting with Sławomir Mentzen. He was a long-time boxer, he practiced boxing, a combat sport. And he had such an episode, also related to what you are asking about," he added.

– In recent days, we've seen a massive wave of sign-ups to Razem; at this moment, over 5,000 people who want to build an alternative to PO-PiS together with us, who want real change, and not merely a rotation of power. Now, as Razem, we face a real task: to build our structures in areas where we've been weaker so far. Our goal is 2027 and to lead Razem to a parliamentary result that will finally end the PO-PiS era in Poland – stated Adrian Zandberg at a press conference.

– I will not endorse, nor will I transfer the votes of Razem voters to any candidate, because voters are sensible, rational people who have their own views and values, and in this second round, they will decide whether to go to the polls or not, and how to cast their vote at the ballot box – Adrian Zandberg stated at a press conference.

– Mr. Trzaskowski sent us a text message from the TVN24 studio, whereas we have not yet noted any contact from Mr. Nawrocki – stated Adrian Zandberg at a press conference.

“A schedule, because we’ve consulted and it is, of course, possible: Monday for the Council of Ministers, Wednesday for a Sejm sitting, Friday for the Senate. I think that would be a very clear signal to all voters who are disappointed, who have the impression that this government is simply not delivering on its promises,” said Marcelina Zawisza at a press conference.

“I think these two things, namely the funding of the healthcare system and the housing issue [...], are doable, these two projects [...]. The schedule would be as follows: Monday – Council of Ministers meeting, Wednesday – Sejm, Friday – Senate. That would be a signal that this government truly means business,” she continued.

– Today, the primary challenge for our side will be mobilization. The primary challenge for their side is mobilization, and that is the factor currently on the table. This is also not the time for any settling of scores or taking offense, because I can already see that texts are starting to appear again, humiliating these so-called junior coalition partners or us personally as candidates who achieved weaker results. This is the best way to demobilize our electorate – stated Szymon Hołownia at a press briefing in the Sejm.

Let me remind you of the clinic on Szlenkierów Street, July 2030 – that’s how you care for child and adolescent psychiatry. You are setting records for doctor queues. "You're constantly telling stories, Mr. Karol, but you have no managerial experience. You haven't managed anything; you couldn't even manage a few rooms in your museum, because you used them yourself and haven't paid for them to this day," said Rafał Trzaskowski during the presidential debate.

"I manage 10 hospitals; I managed these hospitals under very difficult conditions, at the moment when COVID-19 broke out, and your colleagues were responsible for a very poor approach to dealing with it," he continued.

– You speak just like in your book, where on a single page, seven times it's 'PiS, PiS, PiS, PiS' and 'I, Rafał Trzaskowski, who saved healthcare in Warsaw.' That's unserious. Regarding the COVID pandemic, just as you claimed I managed nothing, let me remind you that I managed the most important institution of the Polish state in the field of memory, as well as a very important Polish museum – stated Karol Nawrocki during the presidential debate.

– Those colleagues you just spoke of managed the biggest pandemic in Poland's history, and perhaps even the world's. Those decisions, of course, went in various directions. I've stated multiple times that as a PiS voter, I disagreed, for instance, with closing forests or cemeteries – he continued.

– If the Vice-Chairman, Mr. Rafał, is asking about in vitro – I will certainly not personally come forward with initiatives concerning this program. These initiatives are, of course, taking place in your local government, and in other local governments across Poland. Citizens of the Polish state have already been born from this program – stated Karol Nawrocki during the presidential debate.

– I have said publicly on more than one occasion that I will not be a strong opponent, nor will I hinder local government projects that are currently underway. And I will care for children born via in vitro – those already born or existing in the world – as I do for all other citizens of the Polish state. However, when it comes to my initiatives on this topic, due to my worldview, you and the public cannot count on them – he pointed out.

– Regarding PiS, you claim you are not part of PiS, yet PiS members are paying for your campaign, organizing it, running your campaign, and Obajtek is contributing to your campaign. There's an English saying: if something looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it is a duck – said Rafał Trzaskowski during the presidential debate.

– You know very well that your colleagues made a fortune during the pandemic, importing overpriced masks and ventilators from abroad; they led to 200,000 excess deaths, constantly changed decisions, closed parks, and prevented people from entering cemeteries. Are you able to state clearly that you support holding Morawiecki, Szumowski, and all other PiS politicians responsible for this accountable, or will you hold them accountable yourself? – stated Rafał Trzaskowski during the presidential debate.

– That is a complete untruth. I am glad we are talking about foreign policy, and that this flag – which you abandoned – is with me. We managed to create many good initiatives, such as Campus Polska Przyszłości. PiS tried, but nothing came of it. I am guided by the Polish interest in foreign policy – stated Rafał Trzaskowski during the presidential debate.

– This is what is most important to me, and what is most crucial for me in this regard is international experience. The most important thing is to be able to form coalitions. I have done this my whole life, in the European Parliament, as Minister for European Affairs, I know how to talk to the most important politicians in Europe and the world – he continued.

– Karol Nawrocki, as usual, has no experience, because he traveled the world just to visit a few museums. He even went to Moscow after 2014 to meet with museum professionals there. This is Karol Nawrocki's foreign policy experience. I won't even bother to mention any other international experience – stated Rafał Trzaskowski during the presidential debate.

– I travel all over Poland, I've spoken with hundreds and thousands of local government officials who told me about how PiS – and we will talk about PiS, because you are a PiS politician, and you won't deny it, because all Poles have their own minds – stated Rafał Trzaskowski during the presidential debate.

– I don't deny it – replied Karol Nawrocki.

– You won't deny Kaczyński, nor Morawiecki, nor all your colleagues who work in the campaign staff, and you yourself said about yourself that you are 'Kaczyński's decision'. So let's treat each other seriously – he continued.

– Half a million zlotys were poured into the social media campaign from foreign sources; your campaign is funded by foreign foundations, including a German one and Mr. Soros, and that's what I asked you about – stated Karol Nawrocki during the presidential debate.

– I prefer Soros to Orbán, and I will tell you that plainly. And it's untrue that the campaign is financed by foreign funds. On this matter, we can indeed go and discuss it, even in court, if you prove that my election committee's campaign is financed in this way – said Rafał Trzaskowski during the presidential debate, after Karol Nawrocki stated that the KO candidate is financed by foreign foundations and Soros.

"Next to me, on my right side, stands a man who was a minister in Ewa Kopacz's government, a government that pushed for illegal migration to flood Poland. And today, you are Donald Tusk's deputy, doing nothing while 10 thousand illegal migrants cross Poland's western border," said Karol Nawrocki during the presidential debate.

"I would like Mr. Jacek Saryusz-Wolski to be my chief advisor when I become president, and so the man you were an assistant to will advise me," said Karol Nawrocki during the presidential debate.

– We will not agree to any solution that is bad for Poland, because we simply know how to get things done. The difference between us and you is that Morawiecki went to Brussels and signed blindly. You, generally speaking, like to sign everything, just like you did yesterday for Mentzen, and just like President Duda – he signed blindly, everything as it came – stated Rafał Trzaskowski during the presidential debate.

– On top of that, there was no money from the EU, because your colleagues caused these funds to be blocked. In no matter, literally in no matter, were you able to accomplish anything – he continued.

"You will sell, unfortunately; you want to sell Poland, just as you're selling taxis in Warsaw and allotment gardens," said Karol Nawrocki during the presidential debate.

– I'll tell you what I secured in the White House, I hope you heard that. We managed to be placed in the first tier for microchips, and thanks to that, we will have access to the latest technologies. This was secured by a presidential candidate, not by Donald Tusk's government – stated Karol Nawrocki during the presidential debate.

– Regarding the migration pact – yes, a conclusion was clearly written into the 2015 regulation that if we help Ukrainians and accept refugees, then we should be excluded from any relocation of other refugees. And we stand by this. No other refugee will come to Poland, I'm telling you this clearly – stated Rafał Trzaskowski during the presidential debate.

– There probably wasn't a war in Ukraine yet in 2015 – replied Karol Nawrocki.

– In 2014, there already was one. There was a war, the annexation of Crimea was already a war. You don't even know that – commented Trzaskowski.

– I am against new taxes. It was PiS that introduced taxes, and regarding the cadastral tax, you even proved yesterday that you didn't know it was a tax. Because you caused such confusion; first, you were in favor of a cadastral tax on more than 3 apartments. When you realized you finally had those 3 apartments, you simply changed your mind – stated Rafał Trzaskowski during the presidential debate.

– You stood with Mr. Kowalczyk [...], you are making him your advisor, you stand together by the monument of Wincenty Witos, and yet it is precisely they who are responsible for this situation [with Ukrainian grain] that we discussed – said Rafał Trzaskowski during the presidential debate.

– Wincenty Witos is probably turning in his grave after he sees whom he unwittingly endorsed. A man who is radically left-wing, who built a museum for those with sexual identity issues, who built that block-shaped structure standing in Warsaw, and who marched at the head of the LGBT parade. For you to invoke Wincenty Witos, that's highly improper – said Karol Nawrocki.

– We haven't given back a single tenement house when it comes to reprivatization, because I clearly stopped this process. Furthermore, your colleagues from PiS wanted to enable the sale of communal flats with a discount. I can guess why, because you have great experience here when it comes to how to pull off scams in such situations – stated Rafał Trzaskowski during the presidential debate.

– If I hear that the issue concerning Marszałkowska is controversial, even though that building was collapsing, it was simply collapsing, and people had to be moved to other apartments of a much better standard. You can't have small municipal apartments there, only large ones, because that's what the heritage conservator decided, but never mind that. I halted that decision, because when I hear such signals reaching me, I immediately intervene and I am able to account for officials' decisions – said Rafał Trzaskowski during the presidential debate.

— Developers, bankers, and millionaires have Mr. Vice-Chairman Rafał Trzaskowski on a short leash. I also thank all ordinary Poles and all Poles, patriots, who are contributing to my election campaign. I will be the president of millions of Poles, not dozens of millionaires who are funding me — stated Karol Nawrocki during the presidential debate.

– This isn't the first time you've lied. 'What's the harm in promising' – isn't that right, Mr. Rafał? You promise, because, I'll say it again: 'what's the harm in promising' – stated Karol Nawrocki during the presidential debate.

– You'll hike taxes because you've so thoroughly crippled public finances together with Donald Tusk that you'll be raising both taxes and pensions, while you're already taking funds from people's 14th-month pensions – he continued.

– Your boss, Donald Tusk, could tell you more about arranged confrontations, as he boasted about his participation in such events in official articles, and also in a conversation with Michał Listkiewicz. I hope you had a chat about what that entails. The difference between me and Donald Tusk, however, was that he stood there with some metal hose, as he recounted, while I am a man of flesh and blood. Just as I am conducting this debate honestly and with respect for my opponent – whom it is hard to respect for what he is doing for my homeland – stated Karol Nawrocki during the presidential debate.

– It seems you agree with him on everything, that you want to do politics with Braun, probably also in the Presidential Palace, and we hear reports that you sent a messenger to Grzegorz Braun, who was supposed to promise him a pardon in exchange for your support. I truly, when I saw what Braun said during the debate in "Super Express" where you didn't even react, I am appalled by such alliances, and especially by such corrupt proposals – stated Rafał Trzaskowski during the presidential debate.

– "I have no information that Mr. Grzegorz Braun was convicted. It's probably only within Civic Platform (PO) circles that one would ask about those who haven't been convicted or will be pardoned by the president," stated Karol Nawrocki during the presidential debate.

– Poland today truly needs a strong and resolute president for these very challenging times. A president who neither shies away from Grzegorz Braun nor retreats from Telewizja Republika, but who is ready to fight for Polish interests on the international stage and also within Poland. I believe we need a president with such a character, – stated Karol Nawrocki during the presidential debate.

– You'd have to take the lead and stop kowtowing to the German Chancellor to get anything done. This is what you achieved, Mr. Vice-Chairman, that 10,000 illegal migrants are in Poland, but once again, we have a revealing twist. A quote from Rafał Trzaskowski: 'We submitted a preliminary proposal in Brussels to accept 2,000 people. First, we want to launch a pilot program in which we will offer to accept the first refugees.' – The whole point is that I speak the language of Polish women and men who have their own set of priorities. Both in the West and in the East. And if President Zelenskyy treats us poorly, we have the right to say so, and millions of Poles in Poland today would like to say this but cannot, because immediately the slogan 'you're speaking Putin's propaganda' is invoked. A sovereign, independent Poland can set its own agenda even to President Zelenskyy, and because I am pursued by Putin and face 5 years in a gulag, I can be the voice of those who say: we do not agree to Ukraine flooding us with grain and unfair competition specifically from Ukraine – Karol Nawrocki stated during the presidential debate.

– It was a success in the social policy of the United Right government, with programs such as 800+ and the lowering of the retirement age. Your empathy, however, is limited to the 20 groszy you gave to a poor pensioner when you bought some very good cakes in one of Warsaw's bakeries — stated Karol Nawrocki during the presidential debate.

– I never said a negative word about President Trump, and I have excellent relations with Republicans – said Rafał Trzaskowski during the presidential debate.

– I'm astounded by how you connected from Kyiv and said: "here, hardly anyone expects any major military attack, a rocket attack on Kyiv, or a tank invasion." After that, a terrible war erupted. This is your theory in practice – stated Karol Nawrocki during the presidential debate.

– President Trump is the kind of person who doesn't like those who come to kiss his ring. He values those who are tough and influential, especially in Europe. Because what does Trump really want to achieve? He wants Europeans to start investing in their own security. He wants someone influential in Europe to be able to demand this from Europeans – said Rafał Trzaskowski during the presidential debate.

– Yes, I was in Kyiv a week before the war, and indeed, at that time, most people, including specialists and the Mayor of Kyiv, told me that they did not expect a full-scale, open war; they expected a hybrid war – stated Rafał Trzaskowski during the presidential debate.

– You forgot about the paedophile from Targówek. How will you look police officers in the eye, after you handed PLN 400,000 to the Targówek paedophile who abused a 14-year-old girl? I'll leave this for you [photo] – stated Karol Nawrocki during a presidential debate.

– People take photos with me, hundreds of thousands of people. These are not any of my friends, whereas Mr. Karol Nawrocki boasted about his connections with people from the underworld, with people who committed crimes, with people who would meet up with their mates in the forest to brawl there using dangerous weapons – said Rafał Trzaskowski during the presidential debate.

– I have been thoroughly vetted over the past years; you know very well who I am. But as for Mr. Karol Nawrocki, every day we learn something new. It makes one wonder what we'll learn after June 2nd – he continued.

– You have, Mr. Vice-Chairman, a big problem with people who think differently. Ladies and gentlemen, this is an environment that has a big problem with people who think differently, and Mr. Vice-Chairman is an emanation of this environment. I recall how a critic of Bronisław Komorowski was visited by services at 6 AM, you pursue Polish football fans, you pursue my collaborators and subcontractors at the Museum of the Second World War, and now you want to criminalize and exclude those who think differently than you – stated Karol Nawrocki during the presidential debate.

– That's outrageous, Mr. Rafał! What you've just said is unthinkable. You speak of tolerance, of supporting institutions, of openness to all. Yet, the 'Last Generation' – with whom you arranged negotiations after the presidential elections, or soon thereafter – destroyed a symbol of Warsaw, desecrated a symbol of the Home Army (AK), and you support such an organization? – stated Karol Nawrocki during the presidential debate.

– "Repeatedly, right from the very beginning of this election campaign, I've said that I am a proponent of the 'closest person' status. I myself am familiar with such relationships," stated Karol Nawrocki during the presidential debate.

– "If I had the status of Mr. Jerzy's close person, perhaps your colleague in Gdańsk would not have managed to hide Mr. Jerzy and cut off this poor, abandoned man from me, especially since I had helped him for over a dozen years," – stated Karol Nawrocki during the presidential debate.

During the presidential debate, Rafał Trzaskowski asked Karol Nawrocki if he could promise not to pardon any politician, specifically mentioning Wąsik, Kamiński, Szumowski, or anyone from PiS.

– In such an important act as a pardon, I believe that Poles expect a kind of responsibility from me and from you, Mr. Vice-Chairman. Firstly, one pardons someone who has been convicted; secondly, one pardons someone whose documents have been thoroughly reviewed – said Karol Nawrocki.

– I would certainly pardon those border guards and officers of the Polish state who were performing their duties, when your colleagues interfered with pizza and shopping bags. I would also certainly pardon a police officer who was performing his duties and who was interfered with by representatives of Civic Platform – he continued.

– I do not intend to pardon politicians, but this is something that truly requires reviewing the files and, above all, the conviction of those politicians. You are mentioning specific names here; pardoning politicians is not my plan. I believe I can be a president who will have the fewest pardons on his record. We'll see after these five years pass. I will approach each case individually – he further stated.

– Poland needs change today, and we all know it. Poland needs security – military, food, social – and the certainty that no one will take away the social gains that have been achieved in recent years. Poland also needs energy security; we need major aspirational, 'dream' investments like the CPK (Central Communication Port) and nuclear power. Unfortunately, today we are not on such a path. Due to the current government of Donald Tusk, whose deputy stands here with me today, Poland is incurring crippling debt. We are indebting ourselves for generations to come – stated Karol Nawrocki during the presidential debate.

– Today, public debt has reached 1.75 trillion PLN, and one political group and one man in the Polish state wants to control everything, by nominating his party's deputy for the office of president. We cannot agree to this. The government wants to control everything, even our freedom, but does not want itself to be controlled by anyone today – he continued.

– I will scrutinize the Polish government on behalf of all of you. I will be your voice in the Presidential Palace; I will regularly say: Poland first, Poles first. Today, we need a president who is a strong president for difficult times and will ensure our security, regardless of political views. We need a president who will safeguard Polish freedom, democracy, and will be the guardian of the Polish Constitution – he concluded.

– Presidential elections are ahead of us, and your mobilization is absolutely essential, because it will truly be razor-thin. Choose a president who simply likes people. Choose a president who has respect for others. Choose a president for whom values such as honesty and ordinary human decency are truly values he not only believes in, but also lives by – Rafał Trzaskowski said during the presidential debate.

– "One thing I promise you: I won't look like Mr. Karol Nawrocki during that conversation, because he looked like someone hounded by the tax office, unable to say anything sensible, just gazing with admiration at someone who understands economics. I promise you that I will speak with Sławomir Mentzen calmly and as partners," Rafał Trzaskowski stated at an election rally.
