At 12:00 PM in Gniezno, a solemn Assembly of Deputies and Senators will take place to mark the 1000th anniversary of the coronation of Bolesław the Brave. Speeches are planned from President Andrzej Duda, Marshal of the Sejm Szymon Hołownia, Marshal of the Senate Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, and Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

The West Pomeranian Voivodeship will be visited by PiS-backed presidential candidate Karol Nawrocki. At 10:00 AM, he will participate in the "NSZZ Solidarność" convention in Kołobrzeg, and at 5:00 PM, he will meet with residents of Koszalin.

At 5:30 PM, a rally will be held in Gniezno's market square with the participation of the Mayor of Warsaw and KO presidential candidate Rafał Trzaskowski.

– Secretary of State [Marco Rubio], I can say this because it was clear he wanted to correct it. The United States is not demanding legal recognition of Crimea's annexation from Ukraine – said Radosław Sikorski on Poranek TOK FM.

– And factual recognition? – asked Jacek Żakowski.

– Of course, Ukraine currently appears incapable of retaking Crimea militarily – replied the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

– Yes, I would like Rafał Trzaskowski to become president. He will be a good president, he offers hope for better cooperation between the president and the government. – We will do everything to ensure Rafał Trzaskowski wins the election and becomes a good president – he added.

– I don't have them in the freezer; the special committee that the Sejm established to consider the abortion bills has them. I have been talking with this committee for a long time, asking them to release these bills as quickly as possible so we can proceed with them in the Sejm. They are politically blocked, and this needs to be stated clearly – said Szymon Hołownia on RMF FM.

– In my assessment, they are blocked before the presidential election, I think, by some members of our coalition. The PSL and Poland 2050 hold the position that these bills should be released from the committee as soon as possible – he added.

– In Poland, no government has yet solved, not a single prime minister for that matter, the problems related to housing accessibility – stated Szymon Hołownia on RMF FM.

– [My government] didn't solve it, that's true. Because governments focus on tactics, the president must focus on strategy. I will not build apartments, but I will plan the work, including within a team that I will appoint, concerning the demographic challenges that Poland faces today, so that the government feels obligated to allocate another billion, another two billion, another three billion not for loan subsidies, but for housing – he continued.

– These projects should leave the committee as soon as possible and be passed by the Sejm as soon as possible; I have discussed this with the presidium of the committee. – I hope that doctors are not falsifying the medical documentation they present, because sometimes it happens that Mr. Ziobro is very active in the media and has the strength to speak out here, but before the committee, he no longer has the strength to speak. On the other hand, we also cannot turn ourselves into some kind of Central Bureau of Investigation in the Sejm; if someone presents a medical certificate, it is up to the services to verify it. – It's time to finally stop patching up problems that have accumulated over decades with one-off actions, solutions tailored for the next elections. – Poland was founded by the decision of Bolesław the Brave as a full-fledged state and immediately as part of the West. By placing the crown on his head, Bolesław the Brave announced that the Kingdom of Poland was becoming part of the West. The West as a political community, a community of values, a community of religion. Bolesław the Brave's crown signified exactly that – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a gathering of MPs and Senators on the occasion of the 1000th anniversary of Bolesław the Brave's coronation.

– We should also remember this today, because after all, we all want to cultivate the work of Bolesław the Brave, that this choice, constantly renewed, sometimes questioned by our enemies, sometimes questioned by some in Poland, but this choice requires constant effort and is, and always will be, relevant – this choice between the political East and West – he continued.

– Surely none of us here present would want to annul the choice made by Bolesław the Brave. Anyone who would want to annul that decision from 1000 years ago would be like wanting to trample on Bolesław's crown – he went on to say.

– Perhaps today it is worth announcing a new national doctrine without unnecessary pathos – the Piast doctrine. A doctrine based on strength, not on illusions, not only on dreams and aspirations, but also on strength. What are dreams, aspirations, plans without strength in politics? No one understood this better than the hero of today's ceremony, Bolesław Chrobry. Independence and belonging based on strength – this is our Piast doctrine, and it will be based on 3 pillars – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a gathering of MPs and senators on the occasion of the 1000th anniversary of Bolesław Chrobry's coronation.

– We will have the strongest army in the region. Don't say it's impossible. Yes, our army must be able to repel any threat, whether from the east, west, or south, it doesn't matter, and we are ready to build the strongest army in this part of the world. We are doing this together, regardless of our views – he continued.

– Looking at the pace of our development, I will say without any complexes that in just a few years, we will indeed catch up to major economies like Germany and Japan. – We will soon sign a treaty with France. We are building a very effective Nordic alliance, both with the Baltic states, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and with the participation of Great Britain. – Bolesław Chrobry [...] for the first time dreamed that Poland would be treated as an equal member of the European community of nations. That it would be treated as a partner. He was the first to decide to abandon all sorts of complexes, tribal complexes, and to build a proud nation, a European nation – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Gniezno.

– Today we are at a similar point in history, because it is today that we have brought about Poland being treated as a partner, and more than that, that Poland today plays a leading role in the European Union, that today all eyes are on us, and that today we can lead Europe – he continued.

– We remember Bolesław Chrobry because he was the first to be able to unite the Polish tribes and create a community, the foundations of a state that became a strong, important state in Europe. [...] Bolesław Chrobry made an important decision to anchor us as a state in Europe, both culturally and institutionally. But most importantly, he laid the foundations for national unity – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Gniezno.

– Today, we face a very similar dilemma: will the President of the Republic want to be the leader of just one tribe, or will they want to be the leader of the entire nation? Will they be a person who will unite, who will focus on community, who will be an arbiter of Polish disputes, and who will represent all Polish women and all Polish men, the entire nation? This is the type of dilemma we face today – he continued.

– A quote from Kościuszko: 'Fanaticism, while it adds strength to the soul, blinds man and hinders the growth of thought, therefore it will never equal the heroism of freedom.' Let us remember these words. Let's not be divided, let's not be poisoned by bad emotions. Let's rise above the shouting, above the noise, above the bad emotions. Let's extend an open hand to others, even those who think differently. Let's be together, because that's what's at stake in this election – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Gniezno.

– Today, we received interesting numbers regarding trust in politicians. […] For the first time, we actually have a situation where 50% of Poles are able to trust one person, and I will tell you that this is an unbelievable burden and commitment – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Gniezno.

– But it is also hope, and it also suggests that the words I speak are reaching you, that they are important to you, that they indicate that building trust and politicians who want to extend a hand to others have a chance for trust, only they have a chance for trust – he continued.

– I am convinced that we are the majority, that the majority of us want to build on such values. And this trust is the best motivation for action and the greatest confirmation that we, the majority of us, we, the nation, are right – he went on to say.

– Polls change. Of course, we draw conclusions from all polls. However, I said over six months ago, when this campaign began, that every vote would count, that it would be very, very close, and that the closer we got to the second round, the closer these results would be. […] We do not underestimate these polls, I am working very hard – said Rafał Trzaskowski in TVN24's „Fakty po faktach” (Facts After Facts).

– Every debate is good because it allows us to present what is most important to us, that is, all our opinions and proposals. And in an election campaign, you simply have to do that every day, and I have been doing it for 6 months – said Rafał Trzaskowski in TVN24's "Fakty po faktach" (Facts After Facts), when asked if, from his point of view, the decision not to debate in Końskie was a mistake.

– Gadgets are gadgets. For many, many years, when times were at their toughest, I stood on the front barricades and didn't just talk about defending those who were attacked, I actually defended them. And I think that's what I should be judged on – that I defended sexual minorities, teachers, and women, at a time when it was truly very difficult – said Rafał Trzaskowski in “Fakty po faktach” on TVN24, when asked about the situation with the rainbow flag from the debate in Końskie.

– I will not give in to these types of comments and assessments of a fight over gadgets, because that is not what a serious election campaign is about. It's about serious behavior and fighting for the rights of all those who are attacked at a given moment. I believe that on this matter, Polish women and men can truly trust me, because I have been doing it seriously for many years, not just through media statements – he continued.

– Even the poll results concerning trust confirm this [that it is not true that I will be president of "half of Poland"]. I am perhaps the most unifying figure in Polish politics, and I always extend my hand to others. I am capable of holding my tongue, I am capable of speaking in a positive language, I am capable of offering an open hand to others, not a clenched fist. I think Polish women and men have known me for this for many years – said Rafał Trzaskowski in "Fakty po faktach" on TVN24.

– Every opponent is difficult, and I treat everyone very seriously because no one should be underestimated – said Rafał Trzaskowski in "Fakty po faktach" on TVN24, when asked if Karol Nawrocki is a difficult opponent for him.

– I am talking to everyone, because on the one hand, we must of course maintain high mobilization, and we must clearly state that this [Trzaskowski-Nawrocki second round] would be a clash of two worlds: one that is open, European, primarily sensitive to the values that are most important to us, and a world that is constantly only fueling bad emotions. Because unfortunately, that is Nawrocki and PiS – said Rafał Trzaskowski in TVN24's "Fakty po faktach".

– I am talking to everyone, to those who will vote for all other candidates in the first round. Because I intend to try to win them all over. Including some PiS voters, because I also meet such people on my path and I talk to everyone – he stated.

– If someone doesn't yell at me, doesn't just repeat those worn-out slogans, but is open to any conversation, I am also open to conversation – he added.

– Yes [I would sign the bill to lower the health contribution for entrepreneurs]. Everyone remembers the so-called Polish Deal, where Morawiecki and PiS introduced horrendous burdens for our entrepreneurs. […] Today, if we want our entrepreneurship to develop, we must reduce these horrendous burdens – said Rafał Trzaskowski in “Fakty po faktach” on TVN24.

– This was a promise of the coalition, and as president, I will demand that the government fulfill its promises. Especially since – and I discussed this with the Minister of Finance before this decision was made – this decision will not burden the National Health Fund (NFZ), but the Minister of Finance will take it upon themselves – he assured.

– Today, healthcare reform is needed. However, yes, simultaneously, we must reduce the burden on our entrepreneurs, especially since this was a promise of the government – he pointed out.

– I deeply apologize, but it was precisely Mr. Nawrocki’s chief of staff, Mr. Szefernaker, who managed the entire refugee policy, and he left us with a multitude of holes. Among other things, that we actually dealt with health tourism from Ukraine… and abuses of this type need to be eliminated – said Rafał Trzaskowski on TVN24’s “Fakty po faktach.”

– Today, we are fixing all these mistakes for which Mr. Nawrocki’s chief of staff is responsible – he added.

– The President of the Republic should not worry or give in to emotions, but should have a plan and clearly discuss this plan and his proposals with partners – said Rafał Trzaskowski on TVN24’s “Fakty po faktach”.

– I have spoken with American politicians; no earlier than a few days ago, congressmen, including those from the Republican Party, also visited me. I was on Fox television. I am convincing Americans to primarily pressure Putin, because we all see that he does not care about peace and that he continues his brutal attacks on Ukraine – he continued.

– Trump is playing his game in various ways and releasing trial balloons. From what I hear, it is slowly dawning on him that Putin is not a proponent of any agreement at all, and I hope this will prompt him – and the first signs of this are already visible – to exert real pressure on the oppressor, not on the victim of oppression – he stated.

– I promise I will push the government to fulfill all its promises. I promise I will be an independent president, because I have always been an independent person. I promise I will take matters into my own hands, because that is what is most important today. I think these elections are truly fundamental – said Rafał Trzaskowski in TVN24's "Fakty po faktach".
