– The point is to sit down and say to ourselves: listen, this hasn’t been done, it must be done […] if we can’t reach an agreement here, then I am the president, I have a long table, I am able to seat everyone, and in a year’s time, we will come out with a package of laws. With a package of laws that we implement regardless of who governs – he continued.

– It’s not that one [government] comes and abolishes health insurance funds, and the next one establishes health insurance funds. And then the next one abolishes them. And this one allocates funds to oncology, and that one to cardiology. And this one to children, and that one to something else entirely – he went on to say.
