As announced by Prime Minister Donald Tusk on Tuesday, the "first massive deregulation package" is to be presented today. "Yes, I can confirm what you've said, the cooperation between the government, Rafał Brzoska's team, and the organizations also represented here is yielding rapid results," the head of government stated during EFNI.
A rally with KO's presidential candidate Rafał Trzaskowski is scheduled for 5:30 PM in Kielce.
Karol Nawrocki, on the other hand, will be in Gdańsk. "Tomorrow is a good move with Karol, and we're playing football in Gdańsk," announced the candidate supported by PiS during an interview for Kanał Zero.

Kierwiński on the Situation at the Oleśnica Hospital:
The Reaction Should Be More Decisive, There Is No Tolerance for Braun’s Anarchy.
– I am in an awkward situation because I supervised the police until a year ago as the head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, so I am somewhat evaluating my former subordinates. But in my opinion, the situation got out of control, and the reaction should have been more decisive in this regard – said Marcin Kierwiński in an interview with Karolina Lewicka on Poranek TOK FM.
– No Member of Parliament – whether to the Polish or European Parliament – has the right to detain anyone in Poland. This is an overreach of authority and a violation of the law. Braun should be held accountable for this. Hospitals are a type of critical infrastructure. It is not the case that someone who feels important can enter a hospital, occupy some rooms, and paralyze the hospital’s operations – he stated.
– The reaction here should have been decisive. I am counting on a very decisive reaction from the prosecutor's office. […] Braun is campaigning […], which makes the prosecutor’s office’s action even more imperative to be very decisive. Perhaps even such that it shows before the elections that the state has no tolerance for anarchy, because this is anarchy – he pointed out.

– No, that's nonsense – said Mariusz Błaszczak in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program „Gość Radia Zet” (Radio Zet Guest), when asked if a list of people to be pardoned was being prepared at Nowogrodzka Street in the event of Karol Nawrocki's victory.
– There is no [such list], these are made-up stories by Messrs. [Michał Szczerba and Dariusz Joński], who need political fuel – he continued.
– No, that's not true – he went on to say, when asked if Nawrocki had to sign some promissory notes to become the candidate supported by PiS.
– I mentioned how they dealt with the visa issue, what it ended with, their disgrace. These are disgraced people – he added.
08:58
Błaszczak:
The Rainbow Flag Idea at the Debate Was a Game Changer
– This idea with the rainbow flag was a game changer in the entire move – said Mariusz Błaszczak on Radio Zet, when asked who came up with the situation with the rainbow flag at the debate.
– Please forgive me, but I cannot discuss such matters publicly. Perhaps these matters will be presented in memoirs someday – he continued, when pressed on who came up with it.
– I know nothing about that – he went on, responding to the question: “is it true that you previously signaled Ms. Magdalena Biejat to react the way she did?”
09:01
Kierwiński:
We will survive the election campaign, and the coalition will be fine
– This is a coalition consisting of four entities. Each entity has its own aspirations, ambitions, and program goals. It is fielding three different presidential candidates. [...] Tensions occur during a campaign period – said Marcin Kierwiński on TOK FM Morning.
– However, I assure you: we will survive the election campaign, the candidate of the democratic parties will win, and the coalition will be fine – he emphasized.
09:04
– Kosiniak-Kamysz already had an offer and rejected it, so now the situation will be truly dynamic. We are not ruling it out; I told you directly that even Kosiniak-Kamysz would be a better prime minister than Donald Tusk, because Donald Tusk is a terrible prime minister – Mariusz Błaszczak stated on Radio Zet when asked if, in the event of Karol Nawrocki's victory, an offer would be made to Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz to be prime minister in a new government supported by PSL, Konfederacja, and PiS.
09:07
Błaszczak on Braun's Behavior in the Hospital:
I Do Not Support Such Actions.
– No, I do not support it, but I naturally have an unambiguous assessment that a murder has occurred. A murder occurred in this hospital, but I do not support such actions – said Mariusz Błaszczak on Radio Zet, when asked if he supported Grzegorz Braun's action in the Oleśnica hospital.
– I don't know what intentions guide him, he is quite a character who behaves strangely – he continued.
09:09
Kierwiński:
Council of Ministers sessions aren't always pleasant; there are sharp disputes, but the coalition is stable
– The Prime Minister states this very consistently at all Councils of Ministers: that Poles hired us to govern Poland so that we could make difficult decisions, regardless of our political interests stemming from our political environments, and we must cooperate with each other – said Marcin Kierwiński on TOK FM’s Morning Show.
– Councils of Ministers are not always pleasant. Sometimes there are really sharp disputes and also strong verbal clashes. But we all know why we are here – he pointed out.
– So I reassure: the coalition, regardless of electoral emotions, is stable and will work normally. Various difficult moments will occur, but I am calm that we will navigate all these reefs – he assessed.
09:12
Błaszczak:
I'm Not Going for Military Training. I Won't Engage in Staged Events Like Trzaskowski
– No, I am not going for military training. […] I will not engage in such staged events like Trzaskowski – said Mariusz Błaszczak on Radio Zet, when asked if he was going for military training.
– This was the 6th edition of military training, I initiated these military trainings. These military trainings were organized not for 55-year-olds, Rafał Trzaskowski, how old is he, 53 years old, right? Not for 53-year-olds, but for young people, to attract them to military service – he continued.
– I believe that Trzaskowski does not want military training, he only needed it for the campaign, so he went there and took the place of young people who could have undergone such training – he went on to say.
09:21
Kierwiński:
There's a temporary shift in sentiment after the debates. The campaign team has drawn conclusions.
– I don't like poll-driven politics, especially individual polls. […] I've always said that one poll is just a brief snapshot of reality at a given moment – said Marcin Kierwiński in Poranek TOK FM, when asked about the latest Ipsos poll for TVP, which shows a drop in support for Rafał Trzaskowski.
– There is certainly some temporary shift in sentiment after these debates, there is no doubt about that. But one shouldn't be swayed by it – he assessed.
– We have drawn conclusions. These are campaign team conclusions, I won't share them with the public, because these are conclusions regarding how to conduct the election campaign – he stated.
– Rafał Trzaskowski is constantly on the road, constantly meeting with voters. We certainly won't be bothered by individual polls. We will do our own thing – he pointed out.
09:22
Błaszczak:
We will be able to control F-35 aircraft without American consent. We will have the code for the missiles
– We will [be able to control F-35s without American consent]. […] We will be able to control, to use them – said Mariusz Błaszczak on Radio Zet.
– The user, meaning us – he continued, when asked who would have the code for the missiles.
– They will be under Polish command, and thus it will be the Polish commander who decides. And here lies the threat in the form that today the ruling party wants to change the commander from European. From Polish, from NATO, to European, and this is very dangerous, because then it will be the European commander who will decide how to utilize Polish weapons, the Polish army – he continued, when asked if in the event of a Russian attack, the F-35s would be able to react without American consent.
09:37
Sawicki on Deregulation:
This Issue Was Prepared in September at the Ministry of Development and Technology.
– The issue of simplification, which Prime Minister Tusk praises so much, was prepared at the Ministry of Development and Technology as early as September of last year. Although interministerial consultations were, to put it mildly, very unfavorable to it, especially from the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Labor, now the Prime Minister has dusted off those September papers, found Mr. Brzoska, and they are preparing deregulation based on those papers – stated Marek Sawicki on Radio Plus.
09:43
Sawicki:
Public Media's Participation in the Debate Needs Clarification
– I believe that the participation of public media in this [Friday's] debate should be clarified. Both by the National Electoral Commission (PKW) and perhaps in the future by the prosecutor's office, because Rafał Trzaskowski's campaign team, by organizing such an event and inviting other candidates, in a sense also financed their election campaigns – stated Marek Sawicki on Radio Plus.
09:55
Sawicki:
Serious Concerns Whether PiS TV Won't Gradually Morph into Platforma TV
– All of this, when public television is involved, raises serious concerns as to whether we are not dealing with a situation where the formerly PiS television, and very propagandistic, will not gradually transform into Platforma television. I would not want public media to be appropriated by one party – stated Marek Sawicki on Radio Plus.
09:56
Lubnauer on the Debate in Końskie:
Hołownia Performed Very Well, I Think Biejat Was Seen by Many Voters for the First Time.
– Hołownia indeed performed very well, but I think that’s a matter of his extensive television experience; he always did well in debates. I think Biejat was seen by many voters for the first time, and therefore it was also important for her. We are simply at a moment when voters are discovering that there are a dozen or so candidates, not just three – said Katarzyna Lubnauer on PR1.
09:56
Lubnauer on Granting Schools Decisions Regarding Smartphones:
Perhaps We Will Change the Law to Strengthen This Possibility.
– In a great many schools, these types of restrictions are already in place. Around 60% of institutions already have bans. We stated quite clearly that we want to very significantly limit the use of any devices by preschoolers; here, we want to reduce it to zero, and we want to very clearly limit it in the case of grades I-III – stated Katarzyna Lubnauer on PR1.
– However, schools decide, and when schools decide themselves, they are more capable of doing so together with parents, who are, after all, a very important element of this school ecosystem, as well as with the children, and then it is more effective. However, perhaps we will change the law, so as to truly strengthen the schools' capabilities regarding these restrictions – she continued.
09:56
Lubnauer on the Poll After the Debate:
The Second Round Matters, I Believe Our Allies’ Support Will Ultimately Benefit Trzaskowski.
– Let’s notice one thing, what truly matters is what happens in the second round, because it is this second round that will decide who wins, and in that sense, I believe that the support our allies currently have, meaning Ms. Magdalena Biejat and Szymon Hołownia, will ultimately benefit Rafał Trzaskowski, but most importantly, look at it long-term – stated Katarzyna Lubnauer in the program “Sygnały Dnia” on PR1.
– This debate had to happen at some point, and it’s good that it happened now because it allowed us to realistically see several things. Firstly, it allowed us to see that Rafał Trzaskowski, perhaps the only one, truly has practical experience related to international affairs. Nawrocki didn’t fare well here, meaning we observe his lack of knowledge and skills – she continued.
10:03
Sawicki:
PO and PiS Fail to Notice the Restructuring of the Polish Political Scene
– Both PO and PiS are failing to notice that we are dealing with a restructuring of the Polish political scene. In which direction will it go? I don't know yet – stated Marek Sawicki on Radio Plus.

Morawiecki Publishes Spoof Video About Trzaskowski:
Also Bad at Counting.
– It’s a good thing he’s not the finance minister, because he’s also bad at counting – wrote Mateusz Morawiecki on social media, publishing a derisive spot dedicated to Rafał Trzaskowski.
The clip juxtaposes the Civic Platform (KO) candidate’s statement about crowds at his rallies with photographs from those very same events.

Zandberg on Trzaskowski's Campaign Donations:
They Take Money from Developers, Then Introduce Programs That Raise Housing Prices.
“Have you ever wondered why those who rule now so stubbornly push through solutions that are detrimental to young people but serve a handful of development companies?” – said Adrian Zandberg in a video published on X.
“First they take money from developers, then they introduce programs that push housing prices up. First they take money from millionaires, then they vote through privileges and tax breaks for these millionaires. We can put an end to this” – he continued.
The recording included fragments of an interview with Jan Grabiec on Radio Zet, in which the head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, among other things, stated that almost PLN 800,000 paid to Trzaskowski's campaign by developers “is not a lot.”

Sikorski on the Ban on Photographing Strategic Objects:
Law Adapted to Developing Technology.
– It seems to me that this is a consequence of technological development. Indeed, as Minister of Defence, I ordered the removal of "no photography" signs at military facilities, which were from the times of a fortunately past era, when not everyone had a camera and satellites had limited resolution – Radosław Sikorski told journalists during the East x West Forum, when asked about the purpose of introducing a ban on photographing strategic objects.
– Technology has advanced, and almost all of us have not only a high-resolution camera but even a video camera, and there are objects that should not be subject to widespread surveillance, especially by risky individuals or sensitive services. So, I understand that the law and regulations have simply been adapted to developing technology – he continued.
13:13
Sikorski on Digital Tax:
Taxes on Large Profits are Needed to Maintain the Infrastructure That Enables Those Profits.
– Regarding the digital tax, as many as 30 countries already have such a tax, and it is an element of reflection within the European Commission in the context of American tariffs on the entire world, including the European Union. So, this requires a rational discussion – said Radosław Sikorski in an interview with journalists during the East x West Forum.
– Economic exchange between the European Union and the United States is mutually beneficial, with gigantic flows of goods, services, and investments, and of course, if something is not broken, we shouldn't break it. In this context, I propose we consider this matter. But of course, taxes on large profits are needed to maintain the infrastructure that enables those profits – he continued.
13:18
Sikorski:
I hope Meloni will convince Trump on Ukraine and tariffs
– Naturally, we support Prime Minister Meloni. She takes a responsible and ethical stance regarding Russian aggression towards Ukraine. In this matter, and also regarding tariffs, I hope she will convince President Trump – said Radosław Sikorski in an interview with journalists during the East x West Forum, when asked if he thought Prime Minister Meloni would manage to convince President Trump to abandon a trade war against Europe.

– To save those who don't have time to read the whole thing: 1. Trzaskowski's campaign organ, Gazeta Wyborcza, accuses me of... copyright infringement, 2. demands I remove the post, apologize, and pay 10,000 PLN, 3. regarding an AI graphic... I'll say it briefly: you can write whatever you want – wrote Mateusz Morawiecki on social media.

Fogiel calls for a reset in Trzaskowski's campaign team:
Let those who feed on hate depart.
– We hope for perhaps a certain reset in Rafał Trzaskowski's campaign team. Those who feed on hate, those who try to awaken the basest instincts in Poles, let them depart. Let Rafał find the courage to say "no" to such methods and to finally face his opponents – said Radosław Fogiel at a press conference.
14:20
Fogiel on Andrzej Moebus:
He Supervised the Company Running SokzBuraka.
– It turns out that on the supervisory board of the company responsible for SokzBuraka sat none other than Mr. Andrzej Moebus. This means that the supervision over the company running and producing content for the SokuzBuraka fanpage was exercised by this individual, who organized, it's not entirely clear to what extent still, as opinions are divided, Rafał’s campaign events, either for his campaign team or for Polish Television – stated Radosław Fogiel at a press conference.

– Where is Donald Tusk? Where is Poland's presidency of the Council of the European Union? The Prime Minister prefers to grovel before the former Chancellor of Germany rather than roll up his sleeves and fight for our interests, economy, and security. These are the consequences of the hateful remarks made by Tusk, Sikorski, and Klich towards the new US administration. Because of them, we remain on the sidelines of the most important matters – wrote Mariusz Błaszczak on platform X.

Trzaskowski in Kielce:
We Won't Let This Right Be Taken Away – That We Can All Be Patriots.
– Everyone has the right to the white and red [flag], no one can be excluded from our national community. This clearly states that everyone has the right to be a patriot, and we will not allow this right to be taken away – that we can all be patriots. This is the kind of Poland I have wanted for many years – stated Rafał Trzaskowski in Kielce.
17:44
Trzaskowski:
I am ready to talk with anyone who wants to solve a problem
– I am ready to talk with anyone who wants to solve a problem. To talk with anyone who is open to dialogue. With anyone who is not closed off to agreement. This is exactly what we are striving for, a Poland of dialogue, of conversation, not a Poland of noise and shouting – stated Rafał Trzaskowski in Kielce.
17:49
President Duda Makes Decision on Hate Speech Bill:
I Accuse It of Being Incompatible with the Constitution.
“The President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, has referred the Act of March 6, 2025, amending the Act – the Penal Code to the Constitutional Tribunal, by way of preventive control,” the Presidential Chancellery announced in a statement.
The matter concerns the government's amendment to the Penal Code regarding hate speech and hate crimes, which expands the catalog to include crimes motivated by discrimination based on age, disability, gender, and sexual orientation. These were to be punished on analogous principles as those already covered by existing regulations (based on national, ethnic, racial, political, religious affiliation, or lack thereof).
The President alleges the bill is incompatible with, among other articles, Article 54(1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland (Everyone shall be guaranteed freedom to express their views and to acquire and disseminate information) and Article 31(3) (Limitations on the exercise of constitutional freedoms and rights may only be imposed by statute and only when necessary in a democratic state for its security or public order, or for the protection of the environment, health, and public morals, or the freedoms and rights of others. Such limitations shall not infringe the essence of freedoms and rights).
17:54
Trzaskowski:
We Must Ensure the Entire Society Prospers
– Today, we cannot erect a wall between citizens and the new elite that the previous ruling establishment sought to create. Instead, today we must ensure that the entire society prospers, and we must ensure that we are all able to effectively develop our ideas – stated Rafał Trzaskowski in Kielce.
17:55
Trzaskowski:
These are not just elections about specific individuals, but a choice between two completely different visions of Poland
– Presidential elections are not elections solely for the person we like the most; it's not a casting call. These are not elections where we decide only about specific individuals, but elections where we decide between two completely different visions of Poland – stated Rafał Trzaskowski in Kielce.
– This is a question of whether today we will opt for a Poland that offers us hope and fills us with hope, or for a Poland that feeds on anger – he added.
17:59
Trzaskowski:
We Need "Engaged Democracy"
– I really dislike the term "fighting democracy" because it very often suggests that democracy is about fighting. We managed to win the elections in 2023, and today we need "engaged democracy," a democracy of dialogue, of conversation, that excludes no one, in which no one will tear away national symbols from each other – stated Rafał Trzaskowski in Kielce.
18:01
Trzaskowski:
We Need to Speak to Trump in a Language He Understands
– We need to speak to Trump in a language he understands, and here we truly have a lot of arguments that convince Americans. Today I met with congressmen from both the Republican and Democratic parties, and if you know what language to speak to them in, know which arguments to use, and have a plan, then you can strengthen our relations with the United States in a way that is both lasting and, on the other hand, a partnership – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Kielce.
18:09
Trzaskowski:
That government tried to hide its villainy in the shadow of the altar, we will not allow it
– That government primarily tried to hide all its villainy in the shadow of the altar. Spending hundreds of millions on Father Rydzyk and his businesses, because they thought that in this way they would buy the church's favor and, in this way, they would be able to build their authority. This is not the way, we will not allow it. No honest person needs to rely on authority built in such a way – stated Rafał Trzaskowski in Kielce.
18:31
Gliński:
Tusk Blocked Democracy for the Last 1.5 Years
– It has certainly livened up, but not just the campaign, I think Polish democracy has livened up, because Donald Tusk blocked democracy for the last 1.5 years. He cut off funding for the main opposition party, took over public media, took over the prosecution, the courts, and even blocked advertisers in the media. In a word, democracy in Poland was not functioning well – said Piotr Gliński in the 'Afternoon Conversation' on RMF FM.
18:34
Gliński:
The Campaign is Also a Referendum on the Assessment of Tusk's Government
– This is a campaign that is also a referendum on the assessment of Tusk's government. A government that currently has more negative ratings than positive ones, it is a government that does not meet expectations. It is a government that, moreover, has not fulfilled its very broad election promises – said Piotr Gliński on RMF FM.
18:37
Gliński:
Tusk's Goal is to Ban PiS and Imprison Us
– Donald Tusk has opted for a monopoly in politics. In this regard, his goal is likely to ban the Law and Justice party altogether, to strip Polish opposition parties of their right to operate, because that's how it all looks. It also involves imprisoning us, that's what Tusk wants to do. At the same time, he is consuming his starters and losing his majority in the Sejm – said Piotr Gliński in RMF FM.
18:42
Gliński:
Blackmail over KPO Triggered Government Change in Poland
– We were basely blackmailed, for example, regarding access to European funds by our political opponents […]. The blackmail concerning the KPO caused a change of government in Poland – said Piotr Gliński on RMF FM.
– We tried to reform the judicial system in Poland and it didn't entirely succeed, that's true. The main reason for the defeat in these elections was most likely complex; eight years of being in power led to fatigue, which is an understandable factor that always plays a role in politics, but European blackmail also played a very significant role here – he continued.
18:59
Mentzen Praises Duda’s Decision:
If I Become President, I Will Veto Every Law Limiting Freedom of Speech.
“It is very good that President Andrzej Duda did not sign the censorship law, referred to as the hate speech law. If I become president, I will veto every law attempting to limit freedom of speech!” – wrote Sławomir Mentzen on X.
To bardzo dobrze, że Prezydent Andrzej Duda nie podpisał ustawy o cenzurze, nazywanej ustawą o mowie nienawiści.

Paprocka on the Three Seas Summit:
The Prime Minister Resigned from Organizing Summits, So This Will Be the Most Important Event During Poland's Presidency.
– For now, before the Chancellery of the President, before Poland, there is a very important event, the Three Seas Summit. In reality – and this is bad news for Poland – during our presidency, this is the most important international event – said Małgorzata Paprocka in an interview with Grzegorz Kępka on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń".
She assessed: – In light of the fact that the Prime Minister resigned from organizing any European Council summit during the presidency, the Three Seas Summit is precisely the most important international event.
– The Three Seas Summit will have the highest representation from the United States in 6 years. The minister responsible for energy affairs will come […]. Is this the last word from the American administration? It is difficult to say at this moment. The fact that there is an open invitation for President Trump to visit Poland is a given – she added.
20:29
Paprocka on Duda's Decision Regarding the Hate Speech Act:
A Bad Law Raising Serious Doubts.
– It is a bad law [on hate speech], raising very serious doubts about its constitutionality. The President hardly had a choice. If laws are poorly drafted and attempts are made to impose ideologies through criminal statutes, if it is poorly formulated, imprecisely, in a way that violates a very essential freedom, which is freedom of speech, then the President had no other option. He sent the bill to the Constitutional Tribunal and we don't know what its fate will be. I don't know what the Constitutional Tribunal will decide – said Małgorzata Paprocka in “Gość Wydarzeń” on Polsat News.
– What does discrimination based on age mean? It is a biological, objective category. Each of us has an age. How can we single out this minority, this group, […] who would be discriminated against for this reason? This law is formulated in such a way that either every utterance could be punished, or these norms are empty norms – she assessed.
– This is a law concerning truly very sensitive material, which is freedom of speech […]. Here, in the President's assessment, this law goes too far, it is imprecise – she added.
