At 10:00 AM, the 30th session of the Sejm will commence. MPs will address, among other matters, a motion to grant the Sejm's consent for the criminal prosecution of Jarosław Kaczyński – at 7:15 PM, as well as a motion for the criminal prosecution, detention, and temporary arrest of MP Dariusz Matecki – at 7:30 PM.

Furthermore, at 11:00 AM, during a closed session, the Sejm's Rules and Deputies' Affairs Committee will consider a motion to grant consent for the criminal prosecution of MP Mariusz Błaszczak.

Also today, presidential candidate Sławomir Mentzen of Confederation will hold meetings in Tomaszów Lubelski, Hrubieszów, and Krasnystaw.

– Europe is giving him [Volodymyr Zelensky] support. After all, this has been going on for 3 years, concerning military support, military equipment, soldier training, but also financial support. To decide on peace, to intimidate partners who do not wish to submit to their will. He assessed: – Putin is not an enemy for him, for Trump. He is, I think, a difficult partner. After all, during that 4.5-hour conversation in Riyadh, that first American and Russian delegation, it was not apparent that these were delegations from countries fighting each other, in conflict, looking at the future differently. No, rather Trump wants to make Putin a partner in international politics.

– Our voice must be heard in Europe, and we must be the link between the European community and the United States. If President Duda does this until the end of his term – that’s good. The Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs are doing it – said Grzegorz Schetyna in “Sygnały dnia” on PR1.

– But the European voice is important. The European community should speak with a Polish voice. Today, we have the opportunity to influence European policy. All these matters we will discuss on Thursday, we will hear at the European Council meeting, also stem from the perspective on politics of countries that are on the border, understand the Russian threat, and indeed spend more on defense and place more emphasis there – he continued.

As he emphasized: – I am convinced that Thursday, these European Council findings, will precisely implement this Polish perspective on security and defense policy.

– They’re doing it [PiS] in a thoughtless, harmful way. Because just as they shouted “Donald Trump” in the Sejm and wore red caps, now they are attacking President Zelensky and saying that someone is organizing an anti-American rebellion. – They were never specialists or experts in international politics, and today they are simply floundering, wanting to do everything so that their behavior and such unthinking support during Donald Trump’s campaign and immediately after the elections do not harm their candidate – he continued.

– Poland only presides over the Council of the European Union once every decade. We happen to have that privilege now. Other EU member states use it to push their national agendas, promote their own countries, but most importantly, to organize summits of global diplomacy. Everyone does it, except for Tusk – said Karol Nawrocki in a recording published by his campaign staff.

– More than 60 days of Poland's presidency have passed, and Tusk and Trzaskowski are still sleeping. Thanks to the actions taken by the PiS government and President Andrzej Duda, Poland currently enjoys the best reputation in the United States among European countries. – Donald Trump acts in the American interest, and it so happens that in many areas, this is an interest that aligns with Poland's interest. Even if some of these actions may not be pleasing, it is certainly not in our interest to conflict with the United States over them, because at the end of the day, it is the United States that is the fundamental guarantor of our security – stated Marcin Horała on the program 'Rozmowa Piaseckiego' on TVN24.

– In my opinion, Zelensky simply made a mistake, meaning he misjudged Donald Trump's intentions. Donald Trump wanted to build a justification for his voters as to why he might continue to support Ukraine, because he wants to sit down at the negotiating table with Putin without being in a position of compulsion – stated Marcin Horała in the "Piasecki's Conversation" on TVN24.

– Zelensky absolutely did not read this, and in fact, he was the aggressive party at the beginning, he tugged and tugged, nipped away, until the other side decided: we have to strike back here, because we'll look bad in front of our voters – he added.

– There is no alternative to good European-Transatlantic relations, and this is also a guarantee of Polish security. – The suggestion publicly made by President Duda that we might give our Polish copper to the Americans in exchange for their support, that is truly one step too far – Prime Minister Donald Tusk wrote on social media.

– Political elites in Poland, neither Donald Tusk nor European elites, listened to the words of the late President Lech Kaczyński, and what the President had predicted began to happen in Europe. In 2014, the first attack on Ukraine by the Russian Federation, February 2022, the beginning of the full-scale war, and the situation we are in today – stated Karol Nawrocki at a press conference.

– When it became clear that we were dealing with a cruel and terrifying enemy, before 2015, Donald Tusk’s first government, meaning during the first Tusk era, the Polish army was being disarmed. 600 military units were liquidated, and for the first time, the number of the Polish Army was less than the number of the Polish police. This government also adopted a defense security strategy for Poland along the Vistula River. This is the group responsible for all of Eastern Poland potentially becoming prey to barbarians and cruel aggressors in a potential armed conflict – he continued.

– I am deeply concerned today that the Polish state under Donald Tusk and the government of Donald Tusk is not taking advantage of the situation where Poland holds the presidency of the Council of the European Union. We have waited many years for this to be able to pursue our international policy, also in the area of security, and for Poland to become a leader in relations with the United States and NATO – said Karol Nawrocki at a press conference.

– On behalf of a large part of Poles, I wanted to appeal to the Prime Minister to undertake the convening of an EU-United States summit precisely in Poland. Our security and the security of all of Central Europe demand it – he added.

– An appeal to Donald Tusk's deputy. I recently listened to his speech in which he said that we are safe because we have contracts, because we have HIMARS, and because we have a large Polish army. Mr. Deputy Donald Tusk, esteemed opponent. Decency in public life requires that when you say such things publicly, you thank the United Right governments for not succumbing to pressure and your words when the Territorial Defence Force was established, and you thank the United Right governments for developing the potential of the Polish Army in terms of military equipment and personnel – stated Karol Nawrocki at a press conference.

– I of course am not retracting my words. Yes, I believe that Mr. Zelensky did not demonstrate gratitude towards the Polish state and towards his partners, but this lack of gratitude crashed against the White House and against the tough diplomacy of President Donald Trump, which led to the solutions we are observing today following Donald Trump's speech – said Karol Nawrocki at a press conference.

– I acknowledge that all suggestions referring to me in the context of favoring the Russian Federation, not only after this conference but throughout my entire professional life, are slanders that are becoming the rule of this campaign within the Civic Platform (PO) circles. You truly have to be far from sane to see a person who is pursued by the Russian Federation, who faces 5 years in a gulag, as someone who supports the Russian Federation – stated Karol Nawrocki at a press conference.

– In the long term, as president, I will do everything to unilaterally renounce the Migration Pact, but as the editor mentioned, and as we know, we don't have time for that because this process is happening now. Polish units should already be there to respond to any instances of illegal migrants being pushed into Poland – said Karol Nawrocki at a press conference.

– If German services are doing this, and they used to, there should be a clear, decisive response from the Polish government, and any German police officer who pushes illegal migrants onto Polish territory should be held accountable, and we will not tolerate such things – he continued.

– When it comes to customs policy, no one should be surprised. We must be aware that what the United States is fighting, within the broader architecture of security, but also global economic security, is China's pressure. China's economic pressure, in a situation where the European Union is in chaos and at a turning point – stated Karol Nawrocki at a press conference.

– Deportations have begun. We are effectively dismantling Georgian gangs. Not words, but actions – Prime Minister Donald Tusk wrote on the X platform.

– We are experiencing an explosion of foreigner crime in Poland. This fact was hidden for a long time; let us recall that the previous government even introduced internal regulations preventing the publication of the nationality of perpetrators of crimes. However, one cannot avoid reality forever, and on the last day, the media brought sensational reports leaking from within the police, where frustration is growing. Union leaders and trade union bosses speak about this officially, while unofficially, all officers speak about it – stated Krzysztof Bosak at a press conference in the Sejm.

– We are approaching a situation where half of the murders in Poland are committed by perpetrators of foreign origin. This is a real crisis, considering that just a few years ago we were proud that we were one of the countries in Europe that had neither mass immigration, culturally alien and disrespectful of our legal and cultural norms, nor a problem with foreigner crime – he continued.

– We will send an interpellation to the Ministry of Interior and Administration on this matter and, through parliamentary intervention, we will submit inquiries to the National Police Headquarters. – They want to strip Minister Mariusz Błaszczak of his immunity for telling the truth about Donald Tusk. Poland cannot look like this – he declared.

– These elections are essentially a collision between Donald Tusk and Karol Nawrocki. There is no alternative. This is not a collision with Tusk's deputy. Rafał Trzaskowski is merely Donald Tusk's party deputy. However, the upcoming elections will be a referendum on Donald Tusk's government, and we must win this referendum – said Karol Nawrocki in Łomża.

– On December 30th, the National Electoral Commission (PKW) adopted a resolution, and this resolution remains internally contradictory and raises numerous doubts. These doubts are expressed by the greatest legal authorities, former constitutionalists, but even current members of the PKW say this resolution is internally contradictory – stated Andrzej Domański in an interview with Marek Tejchman on RMF FM.

– As someone who guards public finances, and how the money of Poles is spent, I have not only the right but also the obligation to obtain explanations from the PKW on how this resolution should be understood – he continued.

I am resigning from my parliamentary immunity. This is a consequence of my views; a Member of Parliament should not stand above a citizen, including Tomasz Grodzki. – I am an innocent person, and the accusations brought against me by the prosecutor's office, forcibly taken over on the personal order of Donald Tusk, who at the very first Sejm session, with hatred in his eyes, shouted that I would be jailed, are merely political revenge, an attempt to eliminate me from public life – the PiS MP continued.

– The conflict is ongoing, and we are all interested in at least a ceasefire. The parties to the conflict, Russia and Ukraine, have not really sat down at the negotiating table yet, and this needs to happen as soon as possible. The advice that is flowing from President Andrzej Duda, primarily towards Kyiv, is: Return to talks with the Americans, because they are the only state and the only leadership that can end this war – stated Małgorzata Paprocka on the program "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

– The association process [of Ukraine with the EU] is of course open. The issue of NATO is an even more complicated matter, because it is known that Ukraine's membership in NATO, due to the guarantees of Article 5, cannot be discussed at all until the end of the conflict. Today, a ceasefire is most important, and today peace negotiations are most important, concluding peace on terms good for Ukraine, also good for us, so that Russia does not emerge victorious from this conflict, and this is obvious – said Małgorzata Paprocka in Polsat News.

– The most important thing for us is that Russia does not emerge from this conflict strengthened in any way; the most important thing for us is weakening Russian imperialism and ensuring Russia is not strong – she added.

– Frankly, I would call this scaring the Polish society [with the potential withdrawal of American troops from Poland]. I don't know on what basis. From all the conversations held in Poland, as well as those conducted in the United States, a clear signal is coming from the American administration that no one has such intentions. There are no such plans today; I want to absolutely reassure everyone in this regard – said Małgorzata Paprocka on Polsat News.

– A lot has changed, and most importantly, fortunately, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' stance has changed, returning to the established, legal, and customary practice of the past 30 years. Letters concerning the so-called preliminary consent and substantive remarks from the President before the Foreign Affairs Collegium have started to be sent again. This is pleasing. I believe that this matter of pending appointments will also be resolved in the coming weeks – stated Małgorzata Paprocka in Polsat News.

– It is very interesting [that Rafał Trzaskowski's campaign headquarters' profile was suspended for several hours]. Perhaps because we were just about to announce a great success, which is gathering a million signatures of support for our candidate – said Marcin Bosacki in an interview with Monika Olejnik on TVN24's "Kropka nad i."

– There was probably some report made to platform X regarding some alleged irregularities. After a few hours, it was restored, but all of this is worrying, considering who owns platform X – he assessed.
