Today, President Emmanuel Macron will meet with European leaders to discuss security issues on the continent. Prime Minister Donald Tusk is set to represent Poland. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will also be present at the summit in Paris.

Shortly after 9:00 AM, Prime Minister Donald Tusk will meet with Microsoft Corporation President and Vice President Brad Smith at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland. The agenda includes a welcome and a delegation meeting. A media statement is scheduled for 9:45 AM.

At 9:30 AM in Warsaw, a press conference will be held by the chairman of the PiS parliamentary club, Mariusz Błaszczak, and PiS MP Janusz Kowalski. At 4:00 PM in Libiąż, a press conference will feature Błaszczak, PiS Vice-President Beata Szydło, and PiS parliamentarians.

At 2:00 PM in Bydgoszcz, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, along with Radmila Shekerinska – NATO Deputy Secretary General (NATO DSG), Admiral Pierre Vandier – Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (SACT), and Olha Stefanishyna – Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, will participate in the opening ceremony of the NATO-Ukraine Joint Analysis, Training and Education Center (JATEC). At 2:00 PM in Brussels, Marshal of the Sejm Szymon Hołownia and Marshal of the Senate Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska will meet with President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola. At 2:30 PM, the Marshals will participate in the opening session of the European Parliamentary Week titled “EU Priorities for Promoting Growth, Competitiveness, and Stability.”

At 3:45 PM, Hołownia will open the exhibition “Republic of Innovation,” accompanying the parliamentary dimension of Poland's Presidency of the Council of the EU. A media address is scheduled for 4:15 PM. Meanwhile, the Marshal of the Senate will meet with Polonia and Poles living in Belgium at 4:00 PM, and with journalists at 5:30 PM.

At 4:30 PM in Warsaw, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and Deputy Minister and Plenipotentiary for Cybersecurity Cezary Tomczyk will participate in a ceremony to sign a cooperation agreement with Microsoft, represented by Brad Smith.

– First and foremost, we find ourselves in a situation where Poland's voice must be much more audible today given the geopolitical circumstances we face. President Duda is highly committed to ensuring this is the case. Last week, he met with the head of the Pentagon, and that meeting lasted significantly longer than scheduled. This week, further meetings with Donald Trump's envoys concerning Ukraine are taking place – stated Paweł Szefernaker in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

– The summit is in Paris, not Warsaw, despite the fact that Poland currently presides over the EU, and this security summit, which is just hours away in Paris, should have taken place in Warsaw – he continued.

– It is in our Polish interest that our voice is heard, and the current Polish government is not achieving this. If PiS were in power, today the summit would be in Warsaw, not Paris. Choosing one politician or another, shared values on which policy is based, does not necessarily mean support for all actions – stated Paweł Szefernaker in "Graffiti" on Polsat News.

– The head of the Pentagon is arriving in Poland, presenting us as an example to the world, and we are going to a summit organized in Paris, while at the same time, the Prime Minister of the Polish government, which holds the EU presidency today, on Saturday, posts a picture of himself peeling potatoes. Is this serious politics, looking out for Polish interests? Macron announced a European security summit in Paris, and at the same time, Donald Tusk was peeling potatoes and posting pictures on social media – stated Paweł Szefernaker on Polsat News's "Graffiti".

– The resilience of big cities to populists – that was the topic [of Rafał Trzaskowski's panel]. Is that the biggest problem today? Because the Mayor of Warsaw went to talk about this in Munich? Surely this is some kind of farce, it's a circus. These people are simply dealing with substitute topics, they are making a circus, a policy that is meant to cover up the most important issues – stated Paweł Szefernaker in "Graffiti" on Polsat News.

– We are implementing the strategy we adopted. We are in the second stage, and we will soon move to the next one. We will shift into a higher gear in this campaign and we are not looking at polls. We are focused on implementing our strategy, which will ultimately lead to victory in these elections – stated Paweł Szefernaker on Polsat News's "Graffiti."

– Tomorrow, General Keith Kellogg, Special Envoy of President Donald Trump for Ukraine, will be a guest of President Andrzej Duda at the Presidential Palace – informed Wojciech Kolarski in an interview with Piotr Salak on RMF 24.

– It was the American side that was interested in the conversation. I will even say that there were some calendar issues, but the American side was keen on it. Tomorrow, in the afternoon, such a meeting will take place – he announced.

– This is proof of the respect President Andrzej Duda enjoys. President Duda's consistent policy, pursued over the years, of building transatlantic relations and very good relations with President Donald Trump, his entourage, and the new administration, result in the fact that the president's plenipotentiary for Ukraine, who is traveling to discuss the terms of peace, wants to know the position of the President of the Republic of Poland – said the Head of the International Policy Bureau at the Chancellery of the President.

– I recall that Andrzej Duda, before he became president, had polls at the level of 15-16% at this stage of the campaign, or 20% at the end of February, while President Komorowski, who was president at the time, had polls at the level of 65%. So, polls don't win elections; there is a certain social emotion. Nearly 60% of society, according to similar polls, is dissatisfied with this government – stated Paweł Szefernaker in "Graffiti" on Polsat News.

– He did not sell Ukraine [Donald Trump in Munich], but he did outline his transactional approach, in which – and this was explicitly stated – the principles on which the perception of the Russian invasion of Ukraine has hitherto been based are no longer important – stated Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in an interview with Tomasz Terlikowski on RMF FM.

– This means that law doesn't matter, principles don't matter – what matters is power and what matters is the benefit for a specific country, in this case, for the United States – she stated.

– Many times, either the President of France or the Chancellor of Germany called Vladimir Putin, and somehow then no uproar was heard that it was an unnecessary call – said Mariusz Błaszczak in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on the program ‘Sedno sprawy’ (The Heart of the Matter) on Radio Plus.

– I like the firm announcement that there are PLN 2.5 billion for social housing construction. This should be implemented immediately, as there are already ready projects, and every fourth local government is ready – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in RMF FM's 'Morning Interview'.

– I believe that mortgage subsidies, and nothing has changed here – even in such a softened form, meaning the secondary market – are not a good idea. Because what happens? The demand side increases instead of the supply side, which means prices will rise and this whole mechanism will be triggered – she indicated.

As she emphasized: – We support social construction [...], and housing subsidies seem unacceptable to us at this moment. We have not seen a draft bill, so we are not talking about a draft bill until we see it. However, mortgage subsidies – we continue to maintain the conviction – generate price increases, and price increases reduce housing affordability.

At the same time, she noted: – There is a lot of good in this program. I think it's good that such a program has been put on the table.

– So that Putin's empire does not revive, so that Putin's empire does not attack Poland, we must deter the aggressor, therefore we must have a strong Polish army. We will not achieve this in cooperation with Germany or in cooperation with France, but we will achieve it in cooperation with the Americans – said Mariusz Błaszczak on Radio Plus.

– Today Poland holds the presidency of the European Union, unfortunately, a meeting of European leaders is taking place in Paris today, not in Warsaw. Donald Tusk is not organizing this meeting – Mariusz Błaszczak said on Radio Plus.

– Of course [the meeting should take place in Warsaw], moreover, the plans for the presidency during the Law and Justice government included a European Union – United States meeting, which we planned for March. There will be no such meeting because Donald Tusk does not conduct foreign policy; he is merely a subcontractor for decisions made in Brussels, or, to put it plainly, in Berlin – he continued.

– "Were you offered the leadership of the new economic super-ministry after the expected government reconstruction?" I have not received such an offer, and I know nothing about any decision to create such a super-ministry – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in the "Morning Conversation" on RMF FM, responding to a listener's question.

– I have the impression that nobody has discussed the creation of such a super-ministry with anyone. Moreover, I have the impression that nobody has discussed reconstruction with anyone yet – she added.

– Government reconstruction could involve reducing the number of people in this government. […] I believe a slightly smaller government would be beneficial. There are many commissioners for various matters, and quite a few deputy ministers. As for the number of ministries, those are already serious coalition discussions – she assessed.

– They cannot be [EU countries be guarantors of peace for Ukraine], Poland should not send soldiers, because it would mean sending Polish soldiers to slaughter, Russians would undoubtedly attack Polish soldiers – said Mariusz Błaszczak on Radio Plus.

– As for European potential, it is simply non-existent. For years, European oligarchs have been talking about strengthening the arms industry, and they are doing nothing – he continued.

– Thank you for being with us in Warsaw today. We are continuing our very good cooperation. I can announce with particular satisfaction today that this cooperation has a very concrete dimension, and Microsoft's investments in Poland will continue, and on a large scale – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a press statement with Microsoft Vice President Brad Smith.

– Today, both our conversation and your presence, as well as plans concerning Poland, show that Poland is a place worth investing in. In these difficult and unstable times, so much hope is tied to Poland, to stability in Poland, and despite the environment not being particularly stable, Poland, with its position, development opportunities, and probable largest economic growth in Europe in 2025… – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a press conference with Microsoft Vice Chairman Brad Smith.

– All of this makes Poland a place worth investing in – said the head of government.

– We are a continent – and we, Poland, a country – of wonderful people. However, we are increasingly becoming a self-excluding and uncompetitive environment for the growth of the talents that these people possess. […] We have all these people, so why is it that when it comes down to it, one-third of start-ups valued at over a billion dollars that are founded in the EU relocate outside the EU? Because of excessive regulation that the EU provides – said Szymon Hołownia before flying to Brussels.

– The EU must wake up, it must understand that today it needs to once again be an environment that makes people's lives easier, that allows them to flourish, develop, and bear fruit here, rather than just being a resource, a donor of organs, brains, for the entire rest of the world, who will leave here and build AI, cloud computing, or other things in Asia, in the USA, or elsewhere – he emphasized.

– Today, this interest in Poland, and the specific investment that Microsoft is announcing in Poland – nearly PLN 3 billion. Exactly 700 million dollars, which is 2.8 billion for us. This is the investment that Microsoft's leadership confirmed today – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a press briefing with Microsoft Vice Chairman Brad Smith.

– Here in Mazovia, this is a continuation of the first phase, which concluded in 2023, and it is an investment in our future, our security, our youth, our startups, our scientists, because it is an investment that will provide Poles, especially the younger generation, with access to the most modern tools, to the opportunities offered by the best in the world – he continued.

– We are hearing about deregulation. Deregulation in Donald Tusk’s government, in the government of the December 13 coalition, is to be carried out not by a minister, but by an entrepreneur. Moreover, an entrepreneur who owns a company competitive with Poczta Polska – said Mariusz Błaszczak at a press conference.

– I pose the question: isn’t the point for Poczta Polska to cease to exist? Isn’t the point that, as in the 90s, Polish enterprises were reduced and closed down? The scheme was identical: first, it was said that the enterprise was not coping in the market. Then restructuring was carried out, meaning employees were laid off, and then the company ceased to exist, and other companies, private companies, foreign companies, took its place in the market – he continued.

– We must not allow such a scenario to be realized today, when it comes to Poczta Polska. That is why we are protesting, that is why Law and Justice parliamentarians will undertake many actions in the Sejm to express their protest and solidarity with the employees of Poczta Polska – he went on to say.

– The layoff of 15% of the staff is unacceptable. The layoff of over 9,000 Poczta Polska employees will mean a paralysis for this company. This must not be allowed to happen. In this matter, we will also question the Prime Minister and the Minister of State Assets, because leaving this matter on the sidelines, with only the management talking to the trade unions, is, in our opinion, condemning this company to closure. The Prime Minister should get involved in these matters, the Minister of State Assets should get involved. […] We will take action during the Sejm debates – he added.

– As the United Right parliamentary club, following a decision by the executive committee chaired by Mr. Chairman Mariusz Błaszczak, we will submit a motion for an additional session of the Committee on Economy and Regional Development during the next Sejm sitting. All representatives of the Tripartite Labour Council will be invited to attend – said Olga Semeniuk-Patkowska at a press conference.

– We can already say that, of course, representatives of Poczta Polska will be honored guests. During this session, we want to hear from the CEO of InPost whether this deregulation is intended to serve the wealthy, whether it is intended to serve foreign capital, or whether it is intended to serve the small and medium-sized enterprise sector – she continued.

– It seems that President Trump is not the best negotiator after all. Besides, he already made such a mistake in Afghanistan. I think that neither the chanting in the Sejm on one's feet, as PiS did: "Donald Trump, Donald Trump," when Trump won the election, nor today's indignation at the American administration is sensible or wise – stated Izabela Leszczyna on the program "Bez uników" on PR3.

– Europe, as we have been saying for many months, even years, must be strong, must be able to defend itself, and cannot constantly rely on its American partner, to such an extent that it will solve its problems for it – she continued.

– In these difficult times, when so much is being discussed, today I will be discussing this in Paris, about the new geopolitical dimension, about Washington's new policy. It is very important that this type of investment also confirms the excellent relations between Poland and the USA – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a press statement, with the participation of Microsoft Vice President Brad Smith.

– Instead of being outraged [at the USA], let’s do what Poland is doing. We are investing in defense, and at the same time, it seems to me, and I am counting on this, that this informal summit in Paris today will ultimately lead to the emergence of a leader, leaders, a small group of European leaders, who will represent our position – said Izabela Leszczyna on PR3.

– The KPO competition for oncology, worth 5 billion 300 million zlotys, will be decided in a few days, as we are deciding it by the end of February. This competition is not at risk. All those who applied will receive the money, over 5 billion zlotys. The competition that PiS is clamoring for is the one from the Medical Fund for 4 billion 200 million zlotys, which they did not resolve, they could have done it – stated Izabela Leszczyna in PR3.

– Perhaps they were afraid to sign these agreements because, at the moment we started signing agreements and resolutions for the Council of Ministers, the Minister of Finance drew our attention to a huge financial mess. That is, the competition applications do not completely align with the assessment of the investment's purposefulness. When we started to delve deeper into it, it turned out, to put it euphemistically, that entities did not have equal chances – she continued.

– We have an aging society, we need more internal medicine wards, which often become de facto geriatric wards. If we need fewer beds in maternity wards, we will convert those beds into internal medicine wards – said Izabela Leszczyna on PR3.

– I don't want to close hospitals, I want these hospitals to be tailored, to have the wards that people in a given district need – she added.

– What happens today in Paris, a meeting of European leaders, is of great significance for what lies ahead, not only for Ukraine but for the entire European project. If today we want to react to the paternalistic scoldings that are coming our way from various sides, there is only one way to respond: concrete, constructive, joint action – said Szymon Hołownia before flying to Brussels.

– Firstly: of course, to plan a radical increase in military support for Ukraine. […] Secondly: Ukraine needs today – and Europe must figure out how to give it – security guarantees. […] NATO is a future perspective, but Ukraine needs some security guarantees if it is to maintain its agency, and if we are not to be the next country […], where Putin decides the border line, […] then Europe must take on such responsibility today, devise, propose – he indicated.

– Europe is great. Nobody needs to tell us that we have to make Europe great again, because we know it is great. It is just sleeping through its moment and its potential today – said Szymon Hołownia before flying to Brussels.

– It must wake up, because if Europe isn't great, then we will have the 'make Russia great again' project, and Russia will become great – he emphasized.

– February was a month of meetings with our biggest partners, primarily American, and today’s meeting with Microsoft was a culmination of that. These meetings primarily concerned investments in our future, specific investments, such as the one announced today by Microsoft – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a press statement, with the participation of Microsoft Vice President Brad Smith.

– March will be a month of meetings for the government and for myself personally with Poles involved in the IT sector. I am talking here about large Polish companies and the smallest ones, about startups, as well as about experts and technicians. I am convinced that, among other things, today’s meeting will contribute to better utilization of your capabilities and the fulfillment of our shared dreams – he continued.

– Today, to everyone – to the Secretary of Defense, to General Kellogg, and to others – we should say: listen, we would like to hear more from you about Article 5. We haven't heard about Article 5 in recent days, and it is the key, fundamental keystone of the North Atlantic Alliance. If not Article 5, then what is NATO for? – said Szymon Hołownia before departing for Brussels.

– Not a word was spoken on this topic, and we would like to hear strong security guarantees from our American partners. They are, presumably, written down, but in light of what is happening, we want to hear them once more – he continued.

– I decided to participate and recommended to President Macron, when he asked for opinions on whether such a summit was worth organizing, I definitely gave that Polish recommendation, and to immediately dispel all doubts, some misunderstandings also arise around the role or possibilities of action in Ukrainian and international matters, the so-called Rotating Presidency, which Poland currently holds in the EU. The rotating presidency does not conduct foreign policy, and I, as the head of the government leading this presidency in the EU, am responsible for the work within the 27 EU member states – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk before departing for Paris.

– This was about the presence of Great Britain as a very engaged party and a small group of states, so that the meeting would be as conclusive as possible and with chances for taking action. That's why when the President of France asked me for my opinion on whether it was worth organizing such a summit in Paris, I had no doubt that this was a very appropriate time and moment – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk before departing for Paris.

– I want to emphasize with all my might that Poland, to explain why in one sentence, is determined to cooperate and continue cooperation on the matter of security, the issue of Ukraine, the Russian-Ukrainian war, together with the EU, European allies such as Great Britain and Norway, and of course, above all, with the USA. Poland, Ukraine, and security in this region need both Europe and the USA – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk before flying to Paris.

– Regardless of what anyone might say sometimes in brutal words, these are quite brutal times, and the war also imposes a certain brutal language in politics. There is no reason why allies, while disagreeing amongst themselves, should not find common ground on the most important matters – he continued.

– Poland has a special role to play here. I don't want to engage in any propaganda here. Poland has a special role. It has very good relations with the USA, regardless of who is president. Poland meets NATO standards, and even exceeds them, when it comes to armaments. Poland is very committed, as a neighboring country to Ukraine, but also for moral reasons, to aiding Ukraine – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk before departing for Paris.

– We have a special reputation here, and we can and must play a positive role. By a positive role, I mean the closest possible cooperation between Poland, of course Ukraine in matters of war and peace, the EU, the USA, and European countries such as Great Britain and Norway – he continued.

– There is no, and there can be no philosophy or room for such an 'either/or' situation. Either the EU or the USA. This stems both from a realistic assessment of potentials and from full awareness that it has been precisely this cooperation, including the best organization at our disposal, NATO, that has been the guarantee of security for Poland and the entire Western world – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk before departing for Paris.

– In Paris, I will preempt all possible voices that would seek to introduce some kind of competitive game between the EU and the USA, because it makes no sense and there is truly no reason for us to get stuck in such a dangerous dead end and in fruitless disputes and conflicts – he continued.

– It must happen now and in a very massive way. I’m talking about decisions, about financing, about logistics, about political decisions concerning the defense capabilities of the EU and European states, and not in confrontation or competition with the USA, but really, as Europe, we must fulfill these obvious obligations, because our security depends on them, on fulfilling these obligations – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk before flying to Paris.

– We will not be able to effectively help Ukraine if we do not immediately take practical action regarding our own defense capabilities. If Europe, and this is currently the case, is unable to counterbalance Russia's military potential, then we must immediately make up for it, and only then will we be in a position to truly support, not just assist, because we will continue to assist as we have so far, but to provide real guarantees to Ukraine for the future – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk before departing for Paris.

– I will ask the prime ministers gathered today in Paris directly whether they are truly ready to make serious decisions, and as you know, Poland is unfortunately an exception to the rule in Europe. This absolutely must change – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk before departing for Paris.

– Poland will support Ukraine as it has until now, organizationally, financially within our capabilities, humanitarily, and in terms of military assistance. We do not foresee sending Polish soldiers into Ukraine, however, we will also provide support in terms of logistics and political backing for states that might wish to offer such guarantees in the future, these physical guarantees for Ukraine – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk before his departure for Paris.

– President Andrzej Duda’s associates are in close contact with President Donald Trump’s associates. Such a meeting will occur, and as soon as I have information on when, I will immediately relay it – stated Wojciech Kolarski in an interview with a journalist.

– The interest in this meeting came from the American side, which I emphasize once again, is proof that the President is respected, he is valued. As has happened many times before, he is listened to attentively, because on the matter of Ukraine, of peace in Ukraine, of this conflict, he is treated as an authority – said Wojciech Kolarski in an interview with a journalist.

– I regret that such a US-EU meeting will not take place during the ongoing presidency, that Donald Tusk, Prime Minister Donald Tusk, resigned from such an opportunity. Today, a conversation here in Warsaw about transatlantic relations would be highly desirable – stated Wojciech Kolarski in an interview with a journalist.

“If we, Europeans, do not spend big on defence now, we will be forced to spend 10 times more if we do not prevent a wider war. As the Polish Prime Minister, I have the right to say this loud and clear, because Poland is already spending almost 5% of its GDP on defence. – This friendship is without alternative; there is no alternative to NATO, and there is no alternative to Ukraine. The rapprochement of NATO towards Ukraine and Ukraine towards NATO is the only signpost we can read, the one we should be reading. All other signposts lead to a dead end. This partnership is simply necessary for world peace – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at the opening of JATEC – the NATO-Ukraine Centre for Education, Training, and Analysis.

– The NATO-Ukraine Centre of Excellence, Training and Analysis (JATEC) in Bydgoszcz is the only tangible, new institution, a new body within NATO, that is being created with NATO and with Ukraine. What does this mean? It means Ukraine is closer to NATO, that Ukraine is a strategic partner for our alliance, that we are creating instruments and forming organizations that facilitate the exchange of experiences and the enhancement of capabilities and skills. It is very important to show that this is a two-way relationship – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at the opening of JATEC – the NATO-Ukraine Centre of Excellence, Training and Analysis.

– Today, the question is how to ensure that we finally have enough energy in Europe, and I will say this clearly: so that the issue of energy does not topple the European Union, because soon everything in Europe will be about electricity prices – said Szymon Hołownia in the European Parliament.

– If countries like Poland are unable to negotiate an exit from ETS2, at least for a period that will allow us to carry out the energy transformation, we will be breaking Europe from within, giving entry to those who want to destroy Europe, those who are completely indifferent to the European project – he continued.

– This is truly the eleventh hour for us to start thinking, not about how to make Europe great again, because it already is great. It doesn't need anyone to paternalistically explain to it how to achieve this goal, but rather for Europe to once again become proud of its potential, its greatness, and its heritage – stated Szymon Hołownia in the European Parliament.

– Everyone, without exception, agreed that the closest possible cooperation among all NATO allies is needed. Moreover, the presence of the Prime Minister of Great Britain underscored not only the EU nature of this meeting but a broader one, and of course, after the Munich Conference, after those various statements, some very emotional ones, today I heard with satisfaction from everyone, without exception, that it is in the interest of both the states represented here and all of Europe to take urgent and intensive action to strengthen the cooperation of allies, and this also concerns potential future talks regarding peace – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press briefing in Paris.

– No one had doubts that strengthening actions regarding the defense of the eastern border, including our East Shield project, is necessary. Everyone realizes that it is precisely Poland and other states on this eastern flank that will require special support. A very important confirmation, especially for us, is that defense spending will no longer be treated as excessive expenditure – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press briefing in Paris.

– We realize, and all participants of this meeting realize, that transatlantic relations, the North Atlantic Alliance, and our friendship with the United States are, as it were, at a new stage, and we all see that. No one should probably be surprised [...] our European partners realize that the time has come for Europe to have a much greater capacity for self-defense – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press conference after an informal meeting in Paris.

– Here too, there was agreement, unanimity, that an increase, and a significant increase, in defense spending is something absolutely necessary, and that there is no point in getting irritated when an American ally says 'spend more, be stronger, be more resilient' – those words are absolutely justified by the facts – he continued.

– The point is that Europe and the US should, in our opinion, cooperate very closely with each other. There can be no divergence here, and of course, we are decidedly in favour of mutual, full support. Both for the US and for Europe, when it comes to the future security and lasting peace in Ukraine – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press briefing in Paris.

– It would be good if Poland, which is most interested in these matters [of Ukraine], were at least consulted by the Americans. I hope this will be the case, although with the current government, with Donald Tusk, who publicly stated that Donald Trump is supposedly a Russian agent [...], many politicians currently governing in Poland have made such unfriendly gestures and words towards the American president. Our credibility with the Americans is probably low – said Jacek Sasin in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events).

– I don't know to what extent this will also influence how we are treated in this process. But it would be good if we were present in this process. This is the responsibility of the current government, which we will certainly hold accountable for this – he stated.

He assessed: – There is no doubt that if PiS were in power today, our voice would be much more heard.

– This is a person who, precisely on these issues, issues of relations with Russia, the reset, is completely unbelievable. This is a person who was the face of the reset, of placating Putin. He was the politician who held an important European function when Nord Stream was being built, when Germany and all of Western Europe were having an affair with Russia, which even then – as was clear – was an extremely aggressive country – Jacek Sasin said on Polsat News’s “Gość Wydarzeń,” when asked about Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s Sunday post.

As the PiS politician assessed: – So truly, today [Donald Tusk] should stay silent. Today, any such formulations do not deserve even to be addressed.

– My direct question about these frozen Russian assets generated less enthusiasm. Probably most would want these frozen Russian funds to be used more boldly for Ukraine and for the rearmament of Ukraine and Europe, but I do not feel authorized to communicate anything on behalf of anyone here – Prime Minister Donald Tusk said at a press conference after an informal meeting in Paris.

– I don't take them [presidential candidate approval polls] completely seriously, because I know – and it's not particularly secret information – that these polls are burdened by a huge error caused by a very large number of people refusing to answer pollsters' questions. Around 20% of those asked today respond – said Jacek Sasin in “Gość Wydarzeń” on Polsat News.

– Today in Poland, Tusk's authority, Tusk's government has created an atmosphere of intimidation for all those who think differently than this authority… Yes, I absolutely have many signals from the ground, from ordinary citizens, ordinary Poles, who say: today in Poland I am afraid to publicly express my opinion, that I do not support this authority – he argued.

– I don't know what the reality is, whether they would be jailed [for supporting Karol Nawrocki]. However, many people believe that they might face various kinds of unpleasant consequences because of it, and that's why they refuse to answer – he assessed.

– I wish President Brzoska success, because deregulation that will unleash the potential dormant in Polish companies, in Polish entrepreneurship, is something that is extremely necessary. But I have unpleasant news for President Brzoska: with this team, with Donald Tusk, none of this will come to fruition – said Jacek Sasin in “Gość Wydarzeń” on Polsat News.

– He will only be used in this political game, which consists of the fact that there are elections, Rafał Trzaskowski needs a life raft thrown to him, so now let's talk about deregulation for a few months, and then it will be as it was anyway – he stated.

In his opinion: – The only path to real deregulation, to a real improvement in the situation of Polish business, is a return to the rule of Law and Justice. Then we will truly carry out these processes, and I can promise that to President Brzoska and Polish entrepreneurs.
