– In this form, I wouldn’t sign it [the amendment to the Act on the provision of electronic services]. I believe that any kind of censorship of content on the internet is a bad idea – said Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference.

– It is one thing to exert pressure on companies managing social media platforms to ensure that message verification can take place […] to combat disinformation and lies, and it is entirely another to implement any solutions that could lead to censorship on the internet – he continued.

– I am absolutely convinced that the government, if it works on such a solution, will listen to all of us. I am reassuring everyone here, I certainly would not agree to any regulations that would limit freedom on the internet – he went on to say.
