180 Minutes for a United Candidate

- The common strategy of the 15X Coalition for the presidential elections must be built on three foundations: parties nominate their best candidates, we do not attack our own in the first round, and everyone unequivocally supports whoever advances to the second round. Winning while maintaining unity – that is our goal – Prime Minister Donald Tusk wrote on social media.

The head of government thus distanced himself from the farmer's leader's proposal today to nominate a single candidate in next year's presidential elections. Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz stated during the PSL's Supreme Council: - Fully aware of the importance of the upcoming elections, as we live in extraordinary times, we must select a president who will be neither right-wing nor left-wing, but communal. In such dangerous times, we need a president who will unite all Poles.

- I would like us to approach these elections differently than the parliamentary elections. Back then, I was in favor of running under our own banners. If a PiS president were to win, they would undertake all actions to ensure PiS wins the next elections. Therefore, today we need joint action from the coalition parties, and I would like to invite our partners to do so. Let us jointly select a presidential candidate today. I will appeal to the leaders of the coalition parties to jointly select a candidate. For a joint start in these elections – said WKK.
