Tuesday's Political Agenda: Government on Cash-Basis PIT, Tusk on EU Commissioner Nominee, Kosiniak-Kamysz on Helicopter Procurement

A government session will commence at 11:00. The agenda primarily features a draft amendment to the Personal Income Tax Act – which offers small-scale business owners the option of the so-called cash-basis PIT.

Ministers will also address draft resolutions concerning the adoption of the "Plan for Rare Diseases for 2024-2025" and amendments to the Council of Ministers' Work Regulations.

As announced, the Prime Minister is also expected to reveal the name of the candidate for the EU Commissioner today, a point he foreshadowed last week.

"I will still discuss the details with President Duda in the middle of next week. We will certainly meet around August 15th, not only for the military parade, but we will also have a face-to-face meeting and discuss this.
