– The Management Board [of the Left] today selected the head of campaign staff for the European Parliament elections. MP Katarzyna Kotula, a minister in our government, has been appointed as the head of staff – stated Robert Biedroń at a press conference.

– The Left held a management board meeting today, and primarily we discussed the local government elections, but we are also ready for the EP elections. We have made an important decision regarding the leadership of the campaign staff. We are entering with new energy. The Left is always about change, about the future, so that people live better lives, so that the issues we deal with concern specific people, Polish women and men, and that will be what these EP elections are about – stated Robert Biedroń.

Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus is to lead the communication campaign of the Left. The convention with candidates for the EP will take place on April 27.
