The Vice-President of the European Commission for Values and Transparency, Věra Jourová, is visiting Poland as part of the so-called Democracy tour. The first item on her agenda will be a meeting with the Minister of Justice, Adam Bodnar, followed by a press conference scheduled for 11:25 AM.

Additionally, Jourová is scheduled to meet with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs, Krzysztof Gawkowski, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Radosław Sikorski, and the Minister and Coordinator of Special Services, Tomasz Siemoniak.

The Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Radosław Sikorski, will meet today in Helsinki with his Finnish counterpart, Elina Valtonen. A meeting between the head of Polish diplomacy and the Finnish President, Alexander Stubb, is also planned.

At 9:00 AM in Kaskada Park in Żoliborz, Warsaw, a press conference will be held with Rafał Trzaskowski, a candidate for Mayor of Warsaw, and candidates for the Warsaw City Council and the Żoliborz district council. Also today, a session of the Warsaw City Council will take place, which will include a motion concerning security-related expenditures, which Trzaskowski discussed yesterday at a briefing with Kosiniak-Kamysz.

At 10:30 AM in Katowice, a press briefing will be held by the Minister for EU Affairs, Adam Szłapka. MPs Wojciech Saługa and Monika Rosa, the Deputy Mayor of Katowice, Jarosław Makowski, and candidates for the regional assembly and city council in Katowice will also participate.

At 11:30 AM in Gdańsk, a press conference will be held with the Deputy Minister of Culture, Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus, Arkadiusz Sikora, and candidates from Lewica in the local government elections. Later, together with the Minister of Science, Dariusz Wieczorek, and Anna Górska, they will participate in an open meeting in Kwidzyn, scheduled for 5:30 PM.

At 12:00 PM in Łask, at the 32nd Tactical Air Force Base, the Minister of National Defence, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, will meet with military pilots, technical personnel, and the management of the Polish Air Force. The Deputy Prime Minister's address is planned.

At 1:30 PM, a conference on the topic of "Poles' Wallets 2024" will be held. The conference will be attended by the Deputy Chairman of PiS, Mateusz Morawiecki, MP Waldemar Buda, and MP Dominika Chorosińska.

At 3:00 PM in Brussels, President Andrzej Duda will meet with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. A meeting with media representatives is scheduled for 3:30 PM.

At 3:00 PM, a press briefing will be held with the Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy, Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk, before the second working group meeting with social partners regarding the development of solutions concerning parental benefits for parents of premature babies and babies hospitalized after birth.

Tomczyk:

I would like to reassure, the President is absolutely safe

- I would like to reassure, the President is absolutely safe and taken care of, as far as the flight is concerned. In this case, a procedure is in place, a backup aircraft. There is a minor technical issue on board, but an issue that does not allow the presidential aircraft to continue the flight. The flight will be slightly extended, a stopover is simply needed, but everything is alright - stated Cezary Tomczyk in an interview with Dariusz Ociepa on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

08:03

Tusk:

In This Election, the Sole Criterion Will Be Our Own Convictions, Not Tactical Voting
Tactical voting by some Civic Coalition supporters for the Third Way allowed us to remove PiS from power. In this election, the sole criterion will be our own convictions - Prime Minister Donald Tusk wrote on Twitter.

08:09

Tomczyk:

With All Due Respect to Mastalerek, He Is Not Constitutionally a Vice President

- I don't know why Minister Mastalerek is playing the role of a sort of vice president. However, I would prefer to hear the President's opinion on this matter. And with all due respect to Mr. Mastalerek, he is not constitutionally a vice president. I would remind you of Mr. Mastalerek's words, and also President Duda's, regarding TVP, for instance. They also believed that Mr. Adamczyk, if I remember correctly, was the CEO of TVP and that TVP was functioning excellently. The same was true regarding the prosecutor's office - stated Cezary Tomczyk on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

08:12

Tomczyk:

The Government Must Have Its Representatives Abroad

- We are in dialogue with the President. I would like this matter to be resolved as quickly as possible. One thing is certain, the government must have its representatives abroad, because we are building Polish interests today, and what is happening is visible. Today, the Prime Minister, directly after meeting with Joe Biden, is flying to meet President Macron and Chancellor Scholz. This is real politics, these are real events that are unfolding - stated Cezary Tomczyk on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

09:07

Tomczyk Announces Bill on Key Investments for State Security

- We are also working, meaning we want the experiences from Ukraine, but also experiences concerning, for example, the Military Health Service, to be included in the civil defense act. This is a very necessary act. We will also be changing the law regarding strategic investments for state security, this is something new, if I may say so. We will be proceeding with a bill on key investments for state security, to facilitate these investments for the military - stated Cezary Tomczyk in "Graffiti" Polsat News.

09:12

Grabiec:

Prime Minister Appointed New National Prosecutor

- The Prime Minister has appointed a new National Prosecutor. Today, Mr. Dariusz Korneluk, due to the fact that the temporary assignment of duties to Prosecutor Bilewicz ended yesterday. An institution as important as the prosecution service must function. The President did not express an opinion, the Presidential Chancellery informed us that the President does not intend to express an opinion, and will wait for the decision of the Przyłębska Tribunal regarding the alleged dispute of competence concerning the invalidation of the election of the previous prosecutor, who was once designated by Minister Ziobro - stated Jan Grabiec on TVP Info.

09:20

Petru:

As Poland 2050, We Will Collect Signatures for a Law Introducing Free Trade on Two Sundays a Month

- As Poland 2050, I can declare here that we will collect signatures for a law introducing free trade on two Sundays a month, and next week, in line with our election campaign promises, I hope that all coalition groupings will support this, both Civic Coalition (KO) and The Left (Lewica) – stated Ryszard Petru in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Radio Zet.

- If we need higher revenues, greater economic growth, and customer comfort, this is a compromise proposal. Personally, I have always been a proponent of all Sundays being trading days, but we are looking for compromise solutions – he added.

09:21

Petru:

I Support the Green Deal in Principle, but its Proposed Deadlines Should Be Reviewed

- Green does not mean irrational. That is, I am an advocate for Poland to be greener, to be more ecological. However, we must be aware that certain deadlines are too strict, unrealistic to meet, which cause the rise of populist forces not only in Poland but across Europe, and this is not in the interest of democratic stability. In other words, the Green Deal in principle, yes, but the deadlines proposed within it should be subject to revision – said Ryszard Petru on Radio Zet.

09:26

Petru:

We Will Leave the Government If There Are No Changes to the Health Contribution

- I can say that - yes [we will leave the government if there are no changes to the health contribution] - stated Ryszard Petru on Radio Zet.

09:35

Petru on the Motion for the Tribunal of State against Glapiński: I Hope it Happens in March

- A motion will be filed with the Tribunal of State against President Glapiński. I don't want to declare a specific date now, because this is a very serious accusation, and therefore everything must be meticulously prepared. A motion is being prepared, and I hope it will happen in March, but I cannot give guarantees because it's a matter of working on a document for two weeks longer if necessary - stated Ryszard Petru on Radio Zet.

09:45

Hołownia:

Mr. Prime Minister, Enough Squabbling - Let's Move Forward

- We were meant to defeat PiS once and for all, not just for 100 days. Poles want results from the government: hospital reforms, a better school system, and simple taxes. This is the goal enshrined in the 12 guarantees of the Third Way and Poland 2050. Mr. Prime Minister, enough squabbling - let's move forward - wrote Sejm Marshal Szymon Hołownia on Twitter.

09:46

Grabiec:

Professional Staffing of Polish Embassies is Needed, and the Government Will Provide It

- There is no sudden shift [in relations between the government and the president], and if there is one, it is on the side of the Presidential Chancellery. Discussions about changes in diplomacy, in our missions around the world, have been ongoing for many weeks. It seemed that there were some understandings on this matter, but when the Minister of Foreign Affairs began to implement these understandings, it turned out that the Presidential Chancellery changed its mind – stated Jan Grabiec on TVP Info.

- We cannot afford to engage in any palace intrigues today. Today, professional staffing of Polish missions is needed, and the government will provide such professional staffing. I hope that the president will cooperate in this regard in accordance with the constitution, rather than sabotage these actions – he added.

09:46

Grabiec:

Mastalerek Confuses His Role with That of a Commentator. This Is Not the Time for Palace Games

- I believe Minister [Mastalerek] is confusing his role in the Chancellery of the President with that of a commentator with a journalistic bent. This is truly not the time for any palace games; it does not add gravitas to the President when he is represented in such a manner. These are very serious matters. We are living in times where Poland's security threat is at the highest level, there is no doubt about it – said Jan Grabiec on TVP Info.

09:47

Grabiec:

It's Unthinkable for the President to Participate in Blocking the Prosecutor's Office

- An attempt to sabotage the work of the prosecutor's office from the presidential palace, for example by delaying. After all, the Constitutional Tribunal can take up this matter in three years, or never. Does that mean we won't have a National Prosecutor, that the prosecutor's office won't function? And I would remind you that it was precisely the change in regulations made by the PiS government, a law signed by the President, that transferred most of the competences concerning the prosecutor's office to the National Prosecutor. It's unthinkable that the President would participate in some game blocking the activities of central state authorities. This is unimaginable; the constitution clearly resolves who is responsible for a given area in such situations – stated Jan Grabiec on TVP Info.

Zdrojewski on Candidate in Wrocław: I Am Bewildered
I must admit that I am bewildered. And if I am bewildered, then what about the residents of Wrocław themselves. We were planning the nomination the entire time, the regional council and the regional board, as well as the district, we were almost certain that the most appropriate candidate from our side would be Michał Jaros. However, he has not yet received approval, the green light - stated Bogdan Zdrojewski in a conversation with Dariusz Wieczorkowski on Radio Wrocław.

09:59

Zdrojewski on Wrocław Elections: None of the Candidates Will Be the Formal KO Candidate – Everything is Heading in That Direction
  • From my point of view, none of the candidates will gain acceptance in the sense that they will not be the formal KO candidate. Everything is heading in that direction, meaning there will be no decision, no green light for their own candidate. However, the choice will be left to the residents of Wrocław themselves, which is obvious – stated Bogdan Zdrojewski on Radio Wrocław.

10:17

Czarnek:

We Alone Stand Against the Green Deal in Brussels

- No one from PiS has ever voted for any Green Deal solution, any specific legal act. Meanwhile, the building directive, which you, Mr. Editor, mentioned a moment ago, was supported by the Left and part of Hołownia's group, while PSL and PO abstained. Only PiS voted against it, and that is the truth about the Green Deal. We alone stand against the Green Deal in Brussels - stated Przemysław Czarnek in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

10:24

Czarnek:

Sikorski can play the fool, claiming to recall 50 ambassadors. He could just as well recall 50 bishops.

- Sikorski said he is recalling ambassadors, but he simply lacks the authority to do so. The President of the Republic appoints and recalls plenipotentiary representatives of the Republic of Poland in other countries, as per Article 133 of the Constitution. The President will simply make a decision or not; without the President's signature, no one is recalled - stated Przemysław Czarnek on Radio Plus.

- Sikorski can play the fool, claiming to recall 50 ambassadors. He cannot recall 50 ambassadors; he could just as well recall 50 bishops if he wanted to, but he cannot do that either - he added.

10:30

Czarnek:

Poland's Interest Lies in Avoiding War with Russia, Achieved Through Strong Alliance with the USA

- If we hear Macron and Scholz, who are warning that Poland, or rather some EU country within NATO, will have to enter Ukraine, meaning, in effect, enter into direct conflict with Russia, then these are matters that unfortunately remind me of the defense doctrine on the Vistula. And here, Tusk must be warned against contacts with these specialists from France and Germany, who are only looking at their own noses, and not at Poland's interests. Poland's interest lies in avoiding war with Russia, and to avoid war with Russia, we must act decisively and, above all, maintain and develop the alliance with the USA. This is the guarantee of our success in terms of national defense - stated Przemysław Czarnek on Radio Plus.

11:36

Bodnar to Jourová: Work is Underway on Amendments to the KRS Act, Further Legislation in Preparation

- As you may recall, a few weeks ago in Brussels, at the General Affairs Council, I presented a plan of action. The implementation of this plan is crucial because it will determine whether the procedure under Article 7 of the EU Treaty will continue against Poland. I informed you that work is currently underway in the Sejm on amendments to the KRS Act, that further legislative acts are being prepared and will be subject to parliamentary work. A complete package of solutions concerning the Constitutional Tribunal has been prepared. We also discussed issues that are important from the perspective of preparations for the European Parliament elections. Every time, the European Parliament elections are a great celebration of democracy at the European level, and you, Madam President, are involved in various matters related to the threats that exist for this electoral process. I am very grateful to you, Madam President, for visiting Poland once again and for our continued dialogue regarding the rule of law and democratic standards in Poland and the EU – stated Adam Bodnar at a press briefing with Commissioner Věra Jourová.

11:42

Bodnar:

Today is a Very Important Day for the Prosecutor's Office

- I am absolutely not afraid [of paralysis in the prosecutor's office]. Today is a very important day for the prosecutor's office; Prosecutor Korneluk has been appointed to the position of National Prosecutor. I want to emphasize that this happened as a result of an open procedure in which prosecutors could participate, and each of you could see how the interviews of individual candidates looked. The competition committee, chaired by Maria Ejchart, chose Prosecutor Dariusz Korneluk, and I believe that the accusations that some irregularities or doubts will arise in the context of proceedings are, I think, excessive. However, I am of course aware that this is a legal question that was posed by the district court in Gdańsk, and let's wait for the Supreme Court's decision in this matter. Nevertheless, I think this decision will be in favor of how criminals should be effectively prosecuted in Poland and how the rule of law should be upheld – stated Adam Bodnar at a press briefing with Commissioner Věra Jourová.

11:44

Bodnar:

The President Expressed His Opinion, Presented His Stance That He Will Not Give His Opinion Due to an Existing Jurisdictional Dispute. I Believe This Dispute Does Not Exist.

- The President expressed his opinion, the president presented his stance that he will not give his opinion due to an existing jurisdictional dispute. I believe this dispute does not exist, because no one questions the president's competence to give consent in the context of dismissing prosecutors, deputy prosecutors general, or appointing new ones regarding opinions. However, there is no jurisdictional dispute because in the case of Dariusz Barski, it was about something entirely different - stated Adam Bodnar at a press briefing with Commissioner Vera Jourová.

11:45

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

No Time for Squabbling, Only Intensive Work to Restore Normality and Guarantee Poles' Security

- Poles expect concrete actions from the government, and this is what Third Way guarantees. Now is not the time for squabbling, but for intensive work to restore normality and guarantee Poles' security. Enough of quarrels, let's move forward! - wrote Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on Twitter.

11:48

Fogiel on Ambassador Recall: The Threat Tusk is Articulating Reveals His Team's Diplomatic Style
- This threat that Tusk is articulating, that we will then recall ambassadors, and that diplomats of the rank of chargé d'affaires will represent us, reveals the diplomatic style of this team, which of course always boasts that they are worldly and will enhance Poland's position. Nobody in the receiving country or state is interested in the fact that Donald Tusk has decided to start a war with the president and is therefore recalling the ambassador. Recalling an ambassador, without a clear diplomatic reason, without a dispute between two states, is perceived as an unfriendly act – stated Radosław Fogiel on Radio Wnet. - Clearly, Donald Tusk treats the US administration in this way; he decided there that he needed to declare a willingness to cooperate, and when he returned to Poland, we're starting anew. And no arguments that ambassadors who will implement the government's, the state's, policy are needed, convince me. Did any of these ambassadors fail to implement that policy? – he continued.

12:42

Sikorski on Appointing New Ambassadors: The Accumulation of Appointments is a Result of the Elections and the Previous Government's Excessive Politicization of Polish Diplomacy

- This is over 50 people in total, but please remember that these are very different types of employees within the diplomatic service. Some are temporary, brought in from outside the ministry, sometimes for very political reasons. Part of this group are individuals whose terms, lasting 3-4 years, are simply coming to an end. Some are professional diplomats who will simply return to positions at the headquarters and will travel again after some time, and of course, they serve until they are asked to return to the country, and here too, there are very different situations. There are people without children, with children in schools. We have a whole system at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs related to rotations. In any case, I assure you that the continuity of Polish foreign policy will be maintained, and please also consider that the preferences conveyed to me by the president during our meeting on this matter back in December have so far been honored – stated Radosław Sikorski in Helsinki.

- Indeed, I have already signed the applications to initiate the procedure for appointing new ambassadors. This is really nothing extraordinary. The fact that a larger number has accumulated is a result of the elections and the fact that the previous government excessively politicized the Polish diplomatic service – added the head of the MFA.

14:15

Morawiecki:

Abolishing Zero VAT on Food Will Mean Monthly Expenses Increase by 120 PLN
- This year, April 1st promises to be impressive, and April Fools' Day, that rather folk holiday, will probably take on a state character. […] Unfortunately, no one will be laughing because of it, as what will happen starting April 1st will greatly complicate life, especially for those who today have certain difficulties making ends meet: pensioner families, recipients of disability pensions, but also families with children. […] All those pre-election promises of various kinds, which boiled down to the fact that nothing given will be taken away, have turned out to be a grim joke. Now they are taking away the zero VAT on food, and the shields against electricity price increases - said Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference. - Using the example of a statistical family, with income combined with the 800+ program, such a statistical family spends about 2000 PLN per month on food. […] What will specifically the abolition of our VAT shield on food, which has protected Poles for over two years, mean? […] Approximately 120 PLN more per month in food expenses for every Polish family, statistically - he continued. - Everything indicates that from July 1st, the energy shield will also cease to function. And the end of the energy shield means the draining of millions of Poles' wallets once again. The "inflation coalition" will fund another electricity price increase, which will be associated with a loss of about 81 PLN, that is the calculated average […]. Unless someone is lucky enough in this case to live in Warsaw, because Warsaw residents will pay over 200 PLN more for electricity from July if the protective shield is removed - he continued.

14:43

Morawiecki:

Shields Allowed Poles to Weather Crises Painlessly; Now the Government Itself, the 'Coalition of High Prices,' Might Be the Next Crisis
- This policy of shields protecting against the effects of crises has allowed Poles to get through this whirlwind of crises, which we have been dealing with for several years, relatively painlessly. Now, however, it turns out that perhaps the next crisis, the next threat, is the government of the Republic itself, this coalition of high prices - said Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference. - Poles should not be wondering whether the state can afford a policy protecting them from these catastrophes that befell us a few years ago […]. Every citizen should be wondering if we can afford a government that does not protect Poles - he stated.

15:44

Leszczyna:

I have a Plan B. If the President doesn't sign, the 'morning-after' pill will still be available without a prescription

- Regarding the 'morning-after' pill, which is a safe emergency concept and not an early-term abortion pill, it is safe emergency contraception available in 25 EU countries without any restrictions. The sooner a woman takes it, the higher the chance of not getting pregnant. I don't understand why the President opposes it, and I will leave it at that. I have a Plan B; if the President doesn't sign, the pill will still be available without a prescription, but I will inform you about this only after the President has actually exhausted the time he has to sign the bill - stated Izabela Leszczyna at a press briefing.

16:27

Duda Reiterates Call to Increase NATO Defense Spending: '2% Was Good in 2014, Today We Need More Strength and Resources'
- We want to be responsible, in the sense of responsibility for our own country and our own security. That is why today we are spending over 4% of our GDP on defense, we are modernizing the Polish army very dynamically, and we will continue to do so - said President Andrzej Duda in Brussels, at a joint press conference with the NATO Secretary General. - I also appeal to our allies, I have already announced this several times in recent days, I am postulating that all of us within NATO spend 3% on defense, meaning we raise this spending level from 2 to 3%. Why? Because 2% was good for the situation we had in 2014, when Russia had indeed begun the occupation of Crimea, but had not yet openly, fully attacked. […] Today, when Russia fully attacked Ukraine two years ago, when it is waging a brutal war there […], it is clear what we are dealing with - he continued. - Today we need more strength, greater military resources, more ammunition, a very active policy of research and development when it comes to new types of armament. Today, we need to largely rebuild the military industry, and all of this means the necessity of increasing defense spending - he argued.

16:45

Duda:

I Believe Ukraine Will Defend Its Sovereignty and Independence, and Russian Imperialism Will Be Stopped

- I believe that thanks to this, Ukraine will be able to defend its sovereignty and independence, and that what we have emphasized from the very beginning will happen, which is absolutely necessary for ensuring the security of Europe and the world, that Russian imperialism will be stopped, it will be ruthlessly stopped in Ukraine, and by stopping and defeating it, it will effectively be punished, so that it will never again have aspirations in Russia to take land from other states, freedom from other nations, to force other nations into slave labor for Russia - stated President Andrzej Duda at a press briefing with the Secretary General of NATO.

19:53

Jaśkowiak:

Finally, we have a normal situation, blocked KPO funds released
I didn't think I would experience 8 years of what was essentially a Polish-Polish war, where the government wouldn't treat local governments and cities as partners, but as public enemies. These 8 years were years in which we achieved a lot. But if it had been a normal government, if the situation we actually had now hadn't existed, where I met with ministers in some rectors' offices, entering a hospital through one door while the minister used another because he was afraid that if Mr. Kaczyński found out he had met with a Civic Platform mayor, he would be fired from the government. Finally, we have a normal situation, blocked KPO funds released. We were actually deprived of 600 million zlotys annually, which PiS introduced by essentially cutting local government funds – stated Jacek Jaśkowiak on Radio Zet.

19:54

Jaśkowiak:

Anyone expecting everything to change and their salary to double in 100 days was naive

- For me, it's a very significant difference that we now have a government that doesn't treat local government officials, or local government itself, as enemies. One that doesn't bug its political opponents. We have a government that is also, in fact, putting in order issues related to, for example, the KPO. So the perspective of these funds right now is completely different than it was under the United Right government. However, if anyone expected that everything would suddenly change in 100 days and their salary would increase by 100%, then at that point it was naive. It's clear to me that it's impossible to feel very significant changes in a material sense within 100 days – said Jacek Jaśkowiak on Radio Zet.

19:56

Gomoła:

The reports and how the facts uncovered by NTO, managed by Orlen Press, were presented shocked me
- These reports and the way the facts uncovered by "Nowa Trybuna Opolska", managed by the Orlen Press group, were presented have shocked me. I was shocked by how my actions were presented, the image that emerged from the way the editorial team presented it. I will say right away that a wave of hate fell upon me, my loved ones, and my colleagues, and this whole situation has simply overwhelmed me on a human level - said Adam Gomoła in an interview with Katarzyna Kolenda-Zaleska on "Fakty po Faktach" TVN24.

20:04

Gomoła:

The Conversation Whose Transcripts Were Revealed by NTO Did Take Place
- I want to expose this entire provocation mechanism that was organized against me. The provocation lies in the fact that this phone call, because the transcripts revealed by "Nowa Trybuna Opolska" are a fragment of a telephone conversation... Yes, that conversation took place, that conversation took place with a candidate I've known for a long time, who even helped me in my parliamentary campaign, and who had earned my trust over a long period. He strongly urged me to recommend him on the Third Way electoral lists for the local government elections - said Adam Gomoła in "Fakty po Faktach" on TVN24.

20:16

Gomoła:

If agreements were signed during the campaign, then according to the Electoral Code, it was done through the electoral committee
- This conversation was part of a longer discussion and talks with this candidate. The whole matter gained momentum the day before this recorded conversation, during a meeting on February 15, when, at the request of someone who could help this candidate with his campaign, I showed him an agreement that I, Adam Gomoła, personally signed with this company, as I have a good working relationship with them. As stated in the agreement, it's for consulting services, image building - said Adam Gomoła in TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach". - I am not running in these elections. I signed it for the present time - he specified. - Polska 2050 offered a lot of fresh, new people in these elections […]. It is obvious that to gain a professional image, one needs to sign such agreements. If they were signed before the campaign period, then between a private individual and a given consulting firm. However, if it happened during the campaign, then, of course, according to the Electoral Code, it was done through the electoral committee. At least, I only have knowledge of such agreements, and when I mentioned such agreements in this conversation, I was referring exclusively to these types of agreements - he argued.

20:29

Gomoła:

I am innocent. I want to prove it and expose the entire mechanism of the trap set for me
- I believe this was a well-organized provocation against me as an individual. I will be revealing [who organized it], I already have a lot of information… I don't have enough evidence at this moment to say it clearly and definitively – said Adam Gomoła in "Fakty po Faktach" on TVN24. - I am innocent, and in my deepest conviction, everything I should do at this moment is, firstly, to prove my innocence, and secondly, to expose the entire mechanism of the trap that was set for me – he continued.

20:37

Gomoła Asked if He Will Resign His Mandate: If Charges Are Filed, I Will Renounce My Immunity, But Like Every Citizen, I Want the Presumption of Innocence
- I don't think so [that my political career is over]. After these words of support, including from my own circle, I deeply believe I will return, and I will return stronger - said Adam Gomoła on TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach" (Facts after Facts). - I will not stand above the law. If any charges were to be filed against me, although I don't believe so, but if they were [...], I will renounce my immunity and will answer like any other citizen - he announced. - But like any other citizen, I want the presumption of innocence, and until this matter is resolved, I will carry out the mission entrusted to me by nearly 22,000 voters - he added.
