Żukowska:

Projects Cannot Be Frozen. Hołownia Himself Announced He Wouldn't Do It, Yet Here We Are
I am also angry, frustrated, just like many other women who are tired of this waiting. It's not about whether Mr. Hołownia holds certain views or how he will vote. Let him vote; the point is for all of us to find out who ultimately holds what views. Projects cannot be frozen; Marshal Hołownia himself announced he wouldn't do it, yet unfortunately, that's how it looks - stated Anna-Maria Żukowska in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM.

08:19

Żukowska:

I count on Hołownia keeping his word

- I count on Marshal Hołownia keeping his word, that last word, that on April 11th, meaning after the local elections, but that it won't be April 12th or 13th anymore, nor will it be the European Parliament elections, but then - stated Anna-Maria Żukowska on RMF FM.

Tusk on the Sudden Weimar Triangle Summit and Massive Ambassadorial Shake-up; Duda Announces Veto for 'Morning-After' Pill and Opposition to Abortion Referendum [NIGHTLY SUMMARY]
Tusk: It Was Unequivocally Confirmed That America Will Never Hesitate to Come to Poland's Aid
- What was important to me, and in a sense was the main goal of my visit, was the unequivocal confirmation that America will never hesitate to come to Poland's aid if Poland is ever attacked, and that Article 5 of the Washington Treaty is unshakeable, and that Americans feel absolutely obliged to act immediately should we need such assistance. I hope there will be no need for it - Prime Minister Donald Tusk said in an interview with Joanna Dunikowska-Paź on TVP Info.

Unscheduled Weimar Triangle Summit on Friday
- President Biden said he remains optimistic and believes, and counts on, this aid being unblocked. I spoke with President Biden about how we are mobilizing our colleagues in Europe. On Friday, which is very soon, there will be a sudden, unscheduled Weimar Triangle summit. I will be in Berlin with French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to discuss this situation; they are also awaiting my information from the talks here in Washington - announced the head of the Polish government.

- The situation is difficult, we all know that. There's no point denying it. However, this confirmation from the American side that they truly take NATO and their commitments seriously is something important. [...] This triangle - Paris, Berlin, and Warsaw - will be looked at more and more. These three capitals, in my opinion, currently have the task and the power to mobilize all of Europe. But let's be optimistic. I have no reason not to believe President Biden when he says: 'wait, I think we'll find a solution and this aid will flow' - he continued.

Prime Minister Announces "Massive Ambassadorial Shake-up" and Steps in Case of Presidential Disagreement, but Positively Assesses Magierowski's Work
- We are currently in the midst of quite a serious operation. After the President rather resigned from cooperation, or at least that's how his associates presented it, and there was a lot of information on this subject in the media, Minister Sikorski and I decided to ask the President for consent for changes at most embassies - informed the Prime Minister.

- I will not provide specific names. In any case, a very massive change awaits us at the embassies. If there is no other option, we will of course recall ambassadors to the country, and until the President's position changes or a new president is elected, the embassies will be headed by diplomats acting as chargé d'affaires. If such a solution satisfies the President - so be it. In any case, we must streamline and build a team loyal to the Polish state that will conduct our affairs, the affairs of the Polish state, at all embassies - he continued.

- This is not revenge; many ladies and gentlemen ambassadors certainly deserve to continue their work. Ambassador Magierowski was never my fan, but I have a fairly high assessment of his work here in Washington - he noted.

President: Our Visit Shows the Importance of Relations with Poland for the USA. We Were Invited as an Important Ally within NATO
- We were invited on the 25th anniversary of Poland's accession to NATO as the only country invited. And yet, more countries were admitted at that time. This shows today the importance of relations with us for the United States, this alliance relationship. If someone asks me: and Poland's security in this context? Please look at who was invited. We were invited. As precisely an important partner, an important ally within the North Atlantic Alliance - said President Andrzej Duda in an interview with Marcin Wrona on TVN24.

Duda on Meeting with the Speaker of the House of Representatives: I Told Him It's Enough to Give Ukraine Equipment and Money Today, It's a Low Price
- I am the President of the Republic of Poland and today I spoke about Polish interests and the Polish perspective on security issues. It is in our interest today that Russia be stopped in Ukraine, that Russian imperialism be stopped and, if possible, punished in Ukraine. [...] So that Russian tanks do not engulf Ukraine, so that they do not reach our border, and so that the Russian aggression is repelled there in Ukraine. I said: this is also in the interest of the United States - the President said about the meeting with the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

- Because whenever there has been a major war in Europe - and Russian imperialism threatens a major war in Europe - sooner or later American soldiers have had to enter the fight, and hundreds of thousands of graves of American soldiers, sons and fathers of families, are in Western Europe today after the First and Second World Wars. It's enough to give equipment and money today, it's a low price. I told the Speaker today: it's a low price because it's incomparable to the lives of soldiers - he conveyed.

Duda on the 'Morning-After' Pill: I Will Not Sign a Law That Introduces Unhealthy, Sick, and Dangerous Principles for Children
- I have nothing against this pill [the 'morning-after' pill] existing, because it is on the Polish market and is available on reasonable terms. It is available by prescription, its availability - completely free, without a prescription - for minors is, in my opinion, a far-reaching exaggeration. We blocked the possibility of free access to tanning beds for youth under 18, we blocked access to energy drinks - said Duda.

- I have nothing against it, if such is the decision of the family or parent, that such a minor girl, if necessary, takes it, but let it happen with the consent of the parent, mother, father. [...] I will not sign a law that introduces unhealthy, sick, and dangerous principles for children - he declared.

"If Someone Demands Abortion, They Demand the Right to Kill. There Should Be No Referendum on Matters of Life and Death"
- Today, the law allows for the possibility of terminating a pregnancy, i.e., depriving a child of life in the womb, in a situation where there would be a threat to the woman's life. If such a choice were made, it is permissible, so from this point of view, the safety of the woman's life is secured - said the President of the Republic of Poland.

- My view on abortion is known. I am a person who defends life. For me, abortion is the deprivation of the life of a small human being who is in the mother's womb. If someone demands abortion, for me they demand the right to kill. [...] There should be no referendum on matters of life and death - he stated.

Czarzasty on Duda: There's no need to look through the lens of any party's animosity when it comes to foreign affairs

- I think there's no need to look through the lens of any party's animosity at all when it comes to foreign affairs, when it comes to matters of state security, and I'm saying this in a firm voice, very much so. There is animosity, President Duda is doing so many things I consider bad and has done so many things that for this period of foreign policy, about 80% of it needs to be forgotten – stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty in the program "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

- I assess this visit [by Tusk and Duda with Biden] very well, because when I read some comments that say nothing new has happened. Well, a lot of new things have happened. In politics, when there is a state of threat to the country, in Poland right now, in Europe, we have a constant state of threat because we have Russia on our borders, Putin on our borders, so repeating important things is important – he added.

09:15

Czarzasty:

Among Politicians, There Is No Belief in a NATO-Russia War. It Would Be Good Not to Foster Such a Belief in Society

- No, in my opinion, there is no such conviction [about a NATO-Russia war among the political class], and it would be good not to create such a conviction [in society], because there are no grounds for doing so. However, a wise political class in every country undoubtedly prepares for such an eventuality, meaning it arms itself, collects money, strengthens the power of its army, and enhances cooperation among all forces associated with NATO – stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty on TVN24.

- I think I can say something like this on behalf of politicians. Politicians do not know much more [about a NATO-Russia war] in this matter. Politicians do, however, follow these matters very closely, analyze them, and actually have an obligation to prepare for various scenarios – he added.

09:15

Czarzasty on Abortion Laws: Hołownia Once Again Senselessly Postponed These Matters

- Anna Żukowska said what 90% of women think, she used a word I wouldn't use, but to eliminate such words and such situations, the situations themselves must be eliminated. Szymon Hołownia, once again senselessly, and by the way, lying to himself, has postponed these matters. There is never a good time for women's issues – stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty on TVN24.

09:24

Kosiniak-Kamysz on the President's Proposal Regarding NATO Defense Spending: Raising the Bar to Increase Pressure on Countries Not Meeting the 2% Limit
- I believe this is a certain strategic move [President Andrzej Duda's words on increasing NATO member defense spending to 3% of GDP]. Not all states are currently meeting the 2% target, and this is a problem, because NATO made such a decision, and this decision has not been implemented by all states. Bad, not good. We are raising the bar to increase the pressure, a positive action on those countries that have not yet met this limit – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in an interview with Mariusz Piekarski on TVP Info's "Morning Guest." - Poland is exceeding 4%, which is the most among all NATO states, which is why we have the right to expect full-scale allied support – he continued.

10:01

Grodzki on Civic Coalition's 100 Programmatic Proposals: They Face Extremely Unfavorable Conditions Due to Legislatively Cemented Issues and an Unsupportive President

- Point by point, Civic Coalition's 100 programmatic proposals are facing extremely unfavorable conditions due to many legislatively cemented issues and an unsupportive president. When the president responds in a way that, in my opinion, is emotional rather than rational, stating that he will send all laws to the Constitutional Tribunal one after another, this is not a serious approach to governing the Republic of Poland - stated Tomasz Grodzki in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on the program "Sedno sprawy" (The Core of the Matter) on Radio Plus.

- This is not a foregone conclusion. If the president now says he will not cooperate on the appointment of ambassadors, who are Poland's representatives to the world, then this is not a serious approach - he added.

10:02

Grodzki:

We can't say the Prime Minister announced 100 days and then we did nothing. We are forming ministries.

- You can't say the Prime Minister announced 100 days and then we did nothing. We are forming ministries, we are in contact with colleagues who are currently in power from various political options - stated Tomasz Grodzki in the program "Sedno sprawy" on Radio Plus.

10:03

Grodzki:

I Never Took a Bribe, and This Whole Affair Was Fabricated the Moment I Became Marshal

- I never took [a bribe], and this whole affair was fabricated the moment I became marshal, precisely from that day. I had a clear conscience and believed that an independent prosecution service, upon reading all of this, would act as an independent prosecution service should. I did not influence anything, I did not pressure anyone, I did not ask anyone for anything. I was convinced that this was a politically fabricated matter - stated Tomasz Grodzki on the program "Sedno sprawy" (The Heart of the Matter) on Radio Plus.

10:34

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

Local Government Involvement in Building Security is Essential. This is Our State Interest

- We need shelters, we need education, we need information. The government alone is not enough; local government involvement is needed here. We will be preparing programs to support local governments in this regard, but the involvement of the local community is also absolutely essential. This is Poland's state interest; there is nothing more important than security, at every level, and the engagement of each of us in the process of building security. Even the largest equipment purchases, which we are very pleased about, such as the US government's approval for the sale of long, medium, and short-range missiles - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference with Rafał Trzaskowski.

- If the entire society is not prepared, if the local community is not involved, even the best equipment will not help. These three pillars must be met: national social community, strength in alliances, and a good army. If all these elements work together, it is a guarantee of the highest level of security, and this is our goal - he added.

10:59

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

Poland's Primary Cooperation in Transforming the Polish Armed Forces is the American Direction
Our primary cooperation in the transformation of the Polish Armed Forces is the American direction. They are our strategic partner within NATO, our strategic partner in fulfilling orders. A few weeks ago, I signed an agreement with the U.S. government for the brain of anti-missile, anti-aircraft defense. This was also preparation for this visit, it was one of the important elements that preceded this visit, so there are many tangible proofs of cooperation and investment in Polish security – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference with Rafał Trzaskowski.

11:11

Trzaskowski:

We Have Taken Steps to Audit Potential Shelter Locations in Warsaw
- We also need to be ready, we need to do this together. There are many challenges ahead of us, and indeed, local government is often on the front line, contrary to what one might expect (...) the same applies to ensuring internal security. Unfortunately, this has not been possible in recent years; I have repeatedly asked questions, for example, regarding the Civil Defence Act, and my questions remained unanswered. I am very pleased that with the current government, with Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz and Minister Kierwiński, we are able to cooperate to jointly establish these principles, because this is an absolutely fundamental matter - stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference. - We have, of course, taken certain steps to audit places that could serve as shelters. There are quite a lot of such places in Warsaw, 7 million square meters. These are primarily underground parking lots, the metro, and various types of underground structures that could be utilized. At this moment, we must jointly develop these assumptions - he added.

11:24

Wroński:

It's Not True That Belsat TV Funding Was Cut in Half
Belsat TV was funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, from the development cooperation department, with an amount of 22.5 million PLN. In 2023, this amount was raised to 63 million PLN because the television was to be spun off from TVP structures. In 2022, this sum was maintained in 2023. We received a letter asking if in 2024 Belsat TV would be funded with 75 million PLN. Well, this amount was never at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and it isn't now. Simply put, that money doesn't exist. Ms. Agnieszka Romaszewska, when talking about half, because I assume she is referring to that amount, is talking about money that never existed. This is the money of Polish taxpayers, which we strive to manage as prudently as possible. We received a project from TVP for the modernization of the entire concept of stations broadcasting abroad, and we considered it a good project. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not engage in making television because it doesn't know how to do it. There are specialists for that who make television. We are concerned with ensuring that as much of our content relevant to the Polish state, information about Poland, and matters important to the Polish diaspora, reaches abroad - stated Paweł Wroński at a press briefing. - Until now, we have dealt with a pathological situation where 4 separate television stations, not cooperating with each other, broadcast abroad. Over 200 million PLN was spent on this in total. The effects of this were meager. Never before, for such large sums of money, with the involvement of many people, so little has been achieved. TVP has decided to change this, making TVP World the flagship station, which will broadcast in languages, as we were assured, English, German, and Russian - the MFA spokesperson continued. - Belsat TV will receive 40 million PLN, but at the same time, using the resources of Belsat TV, which has the people and very good specialists for this, a Russian-language channel will be prepared within TVP World. We received such an assurance, and money has also been allocated for this channel - he added. - I would just like to emphasize that the sum of 75 million for Belsat TV did not exist. It never did - he concluded. - For me, the primary piece of information I wanted to convey is that it is not true that the funding for Belsat TV has been cut in half. That is simply untrue - Wroński stressed.

12:23

Kamiński:

We are the subject of a smear campaign, politically and media-driven, inspired by the current government

- For months, and perhaps even the last few years, we have been the subject of a smear campaign, politically and media-driven, inspired by the current government. Prime Minister Tusk is personally involved in this campaign. A campaign whose goal is defamation. In reality, this is a direct attack on the services responsible for the security of the Polish state, on the officers who deal with combating crime, but of course, this campaign has its political objectives, meaning it is an attack on PiS, on the government of the previous term, which managed the affairs of our country, including security matters. The aim of this campaign was to create a completely false perception in the public opinion that we are dealing with profound pathology in Poland, with mass, illegal surveillance of citizens. In reality, an average Pole might have felt at some point that special services cameras and microphones were installed in every apartment, every home, that their private life, including intimate life, was being illegally monitored. Such suggestions and insinuations have been made – stated Mariusz Kamiński at the press conference.

- We have prepared a presentation. We want to show what the truth is about the matter that is shocking public opinion. Recently, lists of so-called Pegasus victims have appeared in the mass media and public space, also inspired by the current government, as Prime Minister Tusk put it – he continued.

12:30

Wąsik:

CBA Had Similar Software from 2012-2015 – It Was Tusk's Pegasus

- The CBA possessed similar software between 2012 and 2015. It was Tusk's Pegasus. At that time, the head of the CBA was Paweł Wojtunik, the coordinator of special services was Jacek Cichocki, and the prime minister of the government was none other than Tusk. This software was purchased from the Italian company HACKING TEAM, and the contract was active until July 2015 - stated Maciej Wąsik at a press conference.

12:32

Wąsik:

In 2021, when the system was used most frequently, approximately 200 operational controls were conducted using the Israeli NSO system.

- In 2021, when the [Pegasus] system was used most frequently, approximately 200 operational controls were conducted using the Israeli NSO system. Half of these were controls carried out by the ABW. These were mainly counterintelligence proceedings. In the remaining years of the system's operation, this number did not exceed 100 controls - stated Maciej Wąsik at a press conference.

12:40

Kamiński on Pegasus: It Was Not Possible to Upload or Modify Any Content Using This System

- There is no such technical possibility, this system did not have such functionality; it was absolutely not possible to upload or modify any content using this system. There are individuals who present themselves in the public space as victims of Polish services, who heavily rely on the argument that if I didn't say something, the services must have planted it. We have bad news for these people. This line of defense, if the cases go to court, will not hold, because this system did not have such technical functionality - stated Mariusz Kamiński at a press conference.

12:43

Wąsik:

Tusk's Pegasus Allowed File Implementation on End Devices. Not Ours, Tusk's

- I have bad news for Prime Minister Tusk. The system we talked about, which operated during Donald Tusk's time, Tusk's Pegasus, allowed for the implementation of files onto end devices. Not ours, but Tusk's - stated Maciej Wąsik at a press conference.

12:52

Gawkowski:

The Upcoming Elections are About Poland and Poland's Security

- Ladies and gentlemen, the upcoming elections are about Poland and Poland's security, because territorial self-government, from the municipality through the district, to the regional assembly, covers such large areas of security that could not be implemented without government involvement, and at the same time, the government could not cope without self-government – stated Krzysztof Gawkowski at a press conference of Lewica in Białystok.

- A secure Ukraine, free from Russian influence, is a crucial matter for Poland's security. We are currently in a period where the future of the global world and a united Europe is being decided. It is being decided because we have an aggressor at our doorstep, at the gates of the Republic. An aggressor who is unpredictable and who makes unpredictable decisions that could cost Poland a war. We should avoid this war at all costs, which is why we need to strengthen alliances and discussions with President Biden; these discussions were precisely about strengthening this alliance – he continued.

16:50

Sikorski Initiates Dismissal Procedures for Over 50 Ambassadors
- On March 13th of this year, Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski made the decision to terminate the missions of over 50 ambassadors and to withdraw several candidacies submitted for approval by the previous leadership of the ministry – the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed. - The proposed changes were presented within the framework of the Foreign Service Convention, and after their acceptance by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, the practical dismissal procedures were initiated – it was communicated. - The government, bearing constitutional responsibility for foreign policy, believes that the necessary rotation in the positions of Poland's representatives abroad serves a better, more professional implementation of the difficult challenges facing Polish foreign policy today – the statement reads. - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses hope for cooperative collaboration on this matter from the country's highest authorities – the diplomatic ministry added.

17:35

Hołownia:

Those Who Want Abortion Law Changes This Year Support a Referendum. The President Cannot Veto its Outcome.
- The President's declaration regarding the "morning after" pill dashes hopes - he will veto any liberalization of laws that emerges from this Sejm. Those who want changes to abortion law this year support a referendum. The President cannot veto its outcome. That is our law - wrote Szymon Hołownia on social media.

18:09

Sikorski:

First I'm Hearing of Anything Like a Presidential Ambassador

- This is the first I'm hearing of anything like a presidential ambassador. I spoke with the President about these matters, and for now, I'm not going beyond what was agreed upon in that conversation. I hope the President will be persuaded. Poland cannot have two foreign policies. The only one it has is conducted by the Council of Ministers - stated Radosław Sikorski on RMF FM.

18:14

Sikorski:

No Direct Threat to Poland

- There is no direct threat to Poland [from Russia], and we must live in hope that there are limits to this aggression, to this lack of realism in Moscow. I remind you, they thought they would capture Kyiv in 3 days, and for 2 years they haven't been able to, they've conquered less than 20% of Ukraine's territory - stated Radosław Sikorski on RMF FM.

19:09

Duda:

No Polish Ambassador Can Be Appointed or Recalled Without Presidential Signature

- No Polish ambassador can be appointed or recalled without the president's signature. The decision made by the President of the Republic of Poland is of fundamental importance here – stated President Andrzej Duda at a press briefing in the USA.

19:43

Mastalerek on Ambassador Recalls: Symbolically, the Day After the President and Prime Minister Showcase Cooperation, Tusk Unilaterally Intends to Show Something Entirely Different
- Yesterday, Poland demonstrated cooperation on security matters and international affairs. [...] If these reports are confirmed [Radosław Sikorski's decision to recall ambassadors], they will be bad news, because it would symbolically mean that, the day after the president and prime minister showcased cooperation [...], Prime Minister Donald Tusk unilaterally intends to show something entirely different, namely a complete lack of cooperation - said Marcin Mastalerek in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events).

19:53

Mastalerek:

The President Does Not Agree to Mass Recalls of Ambassadors
- During the first meeting between the President and the Prime Minister, President Andrzej Duda extended a hand to Prime Minister Donald Tusk when he wanted to staff the mission in Brussels […]. He said: Fine, I agree, that is your competence, European affairs, I will agree to it, but I count on you behaving responsibly where presidential cooperation is involved, such as in the USA, UN, NATO, or other states that are presidential, like France - said Marcin Mastalerek in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News. - A few weeks ago, Minister Sikorski sent a list of several dozen ambassadors to the Presidential Palace and wanted to make changes wholesale. He then heard from the President's associates that the President approaches each ambassador responsibly and factually, and that he does not agree to wholesale recalls of ambassadors, because either there are specific accusations and grounds against a particular ambassador, or there are none. The President said: Please present me with information on each mission, what you do not like, whether any ambassador is acting wrongly - he continued.

20:00

Mastalerek:

Prime Minister Tusk Seems to Have Misunderstood, These Are Not Government Ambassadors, but Ambassadors of the Republic of Poland. The Prime Minister is Breaking Agreements with the President
- These are not ambassadors of the government, these are ambassadors of the Republic of Poland. An ambassador of the Republic of Poland is appointed by the president jointly with the prime minister, and previously with the parliament. Prime Minister Donald Tusk seems to have misunderstood something. These are not ambassadors of the government. […] If Prime Minister Donald Tusk speaks of some loyalty, then an ambassador of the Republic of Poland should have loyalty solely and exclusively to the Republic of Poland, not to Civic Platform, not to the government of Prime Minister Donald Tusk. This is a complete confusion of concepts - said Marcin Mastalerek in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News. - That is precisely why there must be agreement from the president, the prime minister, the government, and the parliament for an ambassador to represent the Republic of Poland, and not the interests of a party and the government. I hope that Prime Minister Donald Tusk will completely withdraw from this. It is Prime Minister Tusk who is breaking agreements with the president - he emphasized.

20:12

Mastalerek Suggests Duda Might Block Sikorski's Potential Candidacy:

How Does Tusk Imagine Appointing a Commissioner?
- In the near future, the president and the government will face the task of, among other things, appointing Poland's candidate for commissioner. If we hear speculations today that Radosław Sikorski would like to be a commissioner, that he is being considered for it, or if anyone from the government would like to be a commissioner, then how does Prime Minister Tusk imagine the appointment of such a commissioner [...] if he unilaterally breaks agreements with the president and if he wants to demonstrate irresponsibility in foreign affairs. I think these gentlemen should think this over better - said Marcin Mastalerek on Polsat News's “Gość Wydarzeń”. - In my opinion, the wholesale dismissal of ambassadors without any reason, without the president's involvement, will provide grounds for those who would act this way to be reminded of it later, if they wanted to take up positions [e.g., EU commissioner]. In my view, this would be a reason for individuals behaving irresponsibly not to obtain such consent, but this is solely my opinion. According to the law, it is the president who must agree to the Polish commissioner - he continued.

20:58

Siemoniak:

The Government Has the Right to Change Ambassadors; We Expect the President's Cooperation
- Today marks exactly three months since Prime Minister Donald Tusk's government has been in office, and from what I know, Minister Sikorski very quickly discussed ambassadorial changes with President Andrzej Duda, respecting the president and his competencies. However, nothing has happened over these three months, and thus Minister Sikorski has decided to simply take action. It simply cannot be the case that there are ambassadors who do not have the trust of the government, who do not have the trust of the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Clearly, the president has his place in this procedure, but apparently, there is no agreement – stated Tomasz Siemoniak on the program 'Kropka nad i' on TVN24. - The government has the right to make ambassadorial changes, and we expect, we ask for the president's cooperation. From what I know, Minister Sikorski was, and is, ready to consider certain expectations the president expressed back in December – he added.

21:03

Siemoniak:

Kamiński and Wąsik's credibility is absolutely zero; they are compromised individuals
- The credibility of these two gentlemen [Wąsik and Kamiński] is absolutely zero. I understand that they are trying to defend themselves somewhat clumsily by alleging, for example, that this type of software [like Pegasus] was used before 2015, which is untrue. One only needs to ask them, if there were any questions, why during their 8 years in power, when they audited every document, when they searched for everything they could find on their predecessors, they found nothing, and suddenly at this moment they come out and try to present themselves as those who acted in the interest of state security. I truly see no sense in this, I expected them to say something important in their defense. However, these are drowning people, who realize that the Pegasus affair and their actions in connection with the coordination of special services do not hold water. They are compromised, and today they have proven it – said Tomasz Siemoniak on TVN24.
