It was my intention to begin my term as Prime Minister of Poland with the quickest possible revitalization of Poland's relations with its most important European partners. It is no coincidence that my first visits as Prime Minister were to Brussels, for obvious reasons, then Kyiv, also for obvious reasons, and today Paris. Not only because France and Poland are traditional friends, not only because we have known each other for many years, we are friends and we trust each other. We have always been able to rely on each other, but also because I have a feeling that in these very difficult and demanding times, the stance of France and the stance of Poland are very close to each other, and this applies to all important issues – stated Donald Tusk at a press conference in Paris.
