“We are planning revenues in the budget at the level of 404 billion 400 million Polish zlotys. Expenditures at the level of 486.7 billion. It is evident that a deficit appears, not exceeding 4%, approximately a 3.8% deficit, which is practically what we inherited in very good times from our predecessors, who had deficits reaching 7 percent and more. The very fact that the Ministry of Finance, in cooperation with other ministers, managed to construct a deficit that does not exceed 4% is a very big success, very well assessed by the European Commission,” Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said at a press conference.
