Mr. Trzaskowski apparently doesn't seem to have it, since he says that this [payment of Jewish claims] is a matter for discussion. We can discuss compensation for Poland, but not compensation that we are to pay because in 1939, having another option, as there were German proposals, we took up the fight against Nazi Germany, and a moment later we were also attacked by Soviet Russia and truly suffered horrific consequences. Moreover, very many Poles paid with their lives also for helping, for saving Jews” - said PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński on Radio Maryja.

„One truly has to be a very specific type of person to say something like that, to think about something like that. He will probably deny it now, but please do not believe these denials, if they were to come, for example, tomorrow. He said it needs to be discussed” - he added.
