At 10:30 AM, the President will make changes to the composition of the Council of Ministers at the Presidential Palace. - The role of the media is to honestly present certain matters to the public in an objective manner. Unfortunately, certain things are not reported objectively. I have been involved in national politics for four years and I experience this almost every week - said Michał Wójcik in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on the "Political Salon" program on Polish Radio Trójka.

- Professor Strzembosz is the person who, during the transformation, was responsible for various legal acts, he reformed, he was in the Ministry of Justice, just as I am Deputy Minister of Justice today. He promised that there would be a self-purification of the judicial community, of the entire justice system. He simply misled people. People believed it. We are 30 years after that moment and we are being attacked by Mr. Strzembosz. “I have my own vision and know who I would want to see in my government. I have thought this through, but we will probably be in an expanded structure, forming this government together with coalition partners from other options. Today, I don't want to talk about any specific names” - stated Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, the Civic Coalition (KO) candidate for prime minister and deputy speaker, in a conversation with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet. 

“Grzegorz Schetyna is the leader of PO and will have his role in this government. We act as a team, but I will be the one making the decisions” - she added.

„I understand that since Mr. President Kaczyński doesn't want to talk to me, it's not that I'm not a real leader, because you can talk to anyone, but he's afraid of that conversation. He's afraid that our visions for Poland are so different that it will be detrimental to Mr. President if Poles hear what kind of Poland he wants” - said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, KO's candidate for Prime Minister and Deputy Speaker, in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet. 

- A lot of misunderstandings have arisen in this regard. If someone has a sole proprietorship, nothing changes in the principles of their lump-sum ZUS contributions, which currently amount to slightly over PLN 1300 including the health contribution. This is calculated based on 60% of the average salary, which next year will be slightly over PLN 1400, and nothing changes here. Additionally, we are introducing ZUS discounts for individuals with a certain income level, relatively lower than those with higher-earning businesses. We will announce the exact rates tomorrow, at the convention on Saturday. However, the discussion about the 30-fold limit concerns individuals employed under an employment contract who exceed this 30-fold cap - stated Piotr Müller in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Poranek Siódma9.

- I probably wouldn't make such a definitive statement [that the government won't back down from this], because we are also a party that talks and engages in dialogue; the Social Dialogue Council is also for this purpose. However, in the current budget assumptions, it is true that this 30-fold limit is abolished. I would like to emphasize: this does not apply to sole proprietorships, because "Gazeta Wyborcza" in particular has tried to spread false information around this - stressed the government spokesperson.

- Regarding the tax-free amount, it has been increased for individuals with slightly lower earnings, so in this regard, it has been raised. And let us consider this important information for today, as yesterday evening the President signed a law lowering the income tax from 18% to 17%. Consequently, we are lowering taxes. Indeed, the demand concerning the tax-free amount was not met directly. We decided that we want to distribute financial resources differently in terms of state functioning. On one hand, we have social programs and we are targeting specific social groups – stated Piotr Müller in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Poranek Siódma9.

- This would have to be asked of the Ministry of Culture. In fact, there is no legislative or government work currently underway concerning media deconcentration. I am not aware of anything on this matter at the moment - stated Piotr Müller in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Poranek Siódma9.

"I confirm that everything is prepared for the presidents' meeting on Monday. This meeting is at President Trump's invitation, so President Trump is its host. However, let’s remember that September 1st was easy in that it was a specific date, it was known that we were not discussing presidential calendar possibilities, but a specific date of the anniversary of the outbreak of World War II. Today, when we look at the presidents’ calendars, it’s not that simple” – said Minister Krzysztof Szczerski in an interview with Jedynka radio. 

"The President is outraged by this type of campaign because one cannot disdain anyone, one cannot use anyone in this way, especially people who require special help, care, and attention, using them as a political weapon, and in such a perfidious manner. This is absolutely unworthy, and I think that whoever came up with this idea reveals more about who they are themselves, rather than bearing witness about the people they are parodying, because it is a testament to the creators. And I think this should also sober up all those who look at this type of campaign" - said Minister Krzysztof Szczerski on Polskie Radio Jedynka.  

- This chaos is, in part at least, caused by the actions of our colleagues from the opposition, who are stirring up various fears, but of course, you are right. Precise data is needed here so that there are no questions. Tomorrow in Katowice, we will have a thematic meeting concerning the country's economic development, and there we will talk about the details. However, speaking generally, it must be said that for the absolute majority of people, the way ZUS contributions are calculated will not change. It will be the same as before. On the other hand, for those micro-entrepreneurs, for those very smallest entrepreneurs, ZUS will be calculated based on income, meaning in effect, a group of over a quarter of a million these micro-entrepreneurs will pay less ZUS than they do today - stated Michał Dworczyk in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus. 

- We must honestly say that pensions will never be equal to salaries, because our pension system functions in such a way that today working people generate the funds from which pensions are paid - stated Michał Dworczyk in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

- A constant [ratio], of course, one can adopt various concepts. Currently, there is no such concept. Currently, we are taking steps to dramatically increase support for pensioners, hence the idea of a 13th pension, and from 2021 also a 14th pension for the least well-off - added the head of the Prime Minister's Chancellery.

- 45,000 people, the size of a medium-sized town, roughly like Świdnica perhaps, disappear from our country's map every year. Solely because politicians lacked the courage to seize the bull by the horns, because politicians lacked the courage to make difficult decisions regarding the transition from coal to renewable energy sources - said Robert Biedroń during a press conference in Wrocław.

- It cannot be as it is today, that Law and Justice increases the import of very poor quality coal. From various countries, from Mozambique, from Russia, from all those countries that sell us this coal today, they are poisoning us all here, because of them so many people are dying - said Robert Biedroń during a press conference in Wrocław.

- I don't know if it will be immediately after the elections [media deconcentration], but it is certainly an important topic that EU countries like Germany, France, and other mature democracies have dealt with, and I believe we shouldn't have any complexes about discussing it. Please note how much has happened over the last 4 years. It's quite amusing because when PiS quickly introduces subsequent reforms in various areas of life, everyone cries out, maybe not everyone, but a very large portion of commentators, politicians, and journalists cry out that everything cannot be done at once, everything is done haphazardly, that this poor organism will fall apart because it's already creaking, you are changing so much. If a topic emerges that hasn't been realized, precisely because you can't do everything simultaneously in one term, accusations appear: why didn't you do it? You had so much time. I told you, sir: when it comes to the sphere of culture and media, many good things have happened, but there is still very much, just like in other fields and areas of state functioning, very much ahead of us - stated Michał Dworczyk in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

- Minister, I congratulate you wholeheartedly, and I also thank the Prime Minister for this nomination and for the request to appoint you to this office. Finance, investment, and development are essentially everything we want to function as well as possible in Poland. So, enormous responsibility is in your hands, but also – it must be said – in very experienced hands that have been able to skillfully manage finances. I am thinking here primarily of those European funds, which you, Minister, have dealt with for years, once, long ago, as Undersecretary of State to the late Minister Grażyna Gęsicka in the Ministry of Regional Development, then in the next government, this time of the United Right from 2015. Initially in the Ministry of Development, and later as Minister of Investment and Development recently in Prime Minister Morawiecki's cabinet. Now, additional responsibility for Polish finances too. And I thank the Prime Minister that after the recent changes, there is a new Minister of Finance. Because even though elections are approaching, or perhaps precisely because elections are approaching, in politics, it is always a time of some unease, and therefore, it is also a time of a particular situation in the state. It is good that this office of Minister of Finance is filled - stated President Andrzej Duda at the Presidential Palace.

- Minister, I wish you all the best. I would say in a social sense, you are taking office as Minister of Finance at the right moment, because just under two days ago I signed a law that supplements the first law amending the Personal Income Tax Act, where we decided that young people will not pay personal income tax on their earnings up to the age of 26. Now we are supplementing this by introducing a reduction in PIT, but this time for everyone taxed under general rules, and this will indeed mean a reduction from 18% to 17% + an increase in revenue-generating costs, which in effect will result in real gains in wallets. I want to strongly emphasize this for those taxed under general rules, meaning not only those working on employment contracts, specific task contracts, or mandate contracts, but also pensioners and disability pensioners. This will indeed mean real money left in wallets, which can then be spent on life necessities - stated President Andrzej Duda at the Presidential Palace.

- I would like to thank the President most sincerely for this act, as it is difficult to imagine a better moment for the Minister of Finance than to take office at a time when we are lowering taxes, and on a universal basis. It is also a characteristic feature of the PiS government that we are lowering taxes universally. They affect virtually everyone, as the President mentioned, and this is very good news. This represents a deficit in the public finance sector of approximately PLN 13 billion, as we must also add to this a more than twofold increase in income-generating costs, so in reality, this is another tax cut, and from October, almost 25 million people will feel this positively in their wallets – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the Presidential Palace.

„Poland is being torn apart by a political civil war. The two largest parties are beating each other with clubs of hate. Today they are trying to present themselves as doves of peace. This is like donning robes to hide their true intentions. We cannot allow this. I think our countrymen will not be fooled by false promises and false attitudes. This is a distortion of reality” - said the leader of PSL, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, at a press conference in Gdańsk.

According to information obtained by 300POLITYKA, this coming weekend, most likely during the PiS convention in Katowice on Saturday, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will announce the 'Five for Entrepreneurs'. This five-point plan - according to the version seen by 300POLITYKA - includes, among other things, the so-called '500+' for companies, meaning a reduced ZUS (Social Insurance Institution) contribution for small entrepreneurs.

In practice, this will be an expansion or clarification of changes that were presented at the beginning of September during a program convention. PiS has emphasized from the outset that the proposals announced in Lublin would be developed and discussed at individual conventions.

- If a company's income does not exceed PLN 5.7 thousand, and revenue PLN 10 thousand - the entrepreneur will pay lower taxes, averaging around PLN 500 per month. Thanks to this, small businesses will save over PLN 1 billion 200 million. Over 270,000 businesses will benefit from the solution, and the highest ZUS relief will be nearly PLN 800 - the proposals state.

The 'Five for Entrepreneurs' also includes a fourfold increase in the revenue limit for Polish companies to qualify for lump-sum PIT (Personal Income Tax) settlement, the already implemented reduction of CIT (Corporate Income Tax) to 9% for revenue up to EUR 2 million, PLN 1 billion for direct investor support, and one additional point.

Prime Minister Morawiecki - in addition to the convention in Katowice - will also meet with residents of Ruda Śląska (at 3:30 PM), Mysłowice (at 4:45 PM), and Bieruń (at 6:00 PM).
