At 1:00 PM, the Minister of the Interior and Administration Elżbieta Witek will take part in the Police Day celebrations at the Police Academy in Słupsk.

- Every party has a goal when it enters elections. The goal of all three blocs, which have divided but share a common objective, is for Grzegorz Schetyna to be Prime Minister. They do not want Mateusz Morawiecki to be Prime Minister. They want Schetyna to be Prime Minister. The question is whether Poles want Schetyna to be Prime Minister – said Paweł Szefernaker in an interview with Michał Rachoń on the TVP Info program “Jedziemy”.

- In the march, probably not [Civic Platform will not participate in the march in Białystok], because the march, I understand, is organized by our partners from the left. I know [they won't chase us away], but today the issue is not the quantity of marches that will take place through Poland, but rather the state's reaction, which has not been particularly intense over the last two days, and today we should expect and strongly demand firm reactions from the ruling party - stated Sławomir Neumann in an interview with Agata Adamek on TVN24's "Jeden na jeden".

- Today in Poland, you are either on the side of the beaten or on the side of those who beat. And unfortunately, I have the impression that the government's silence in the first hours, the silence of the Minister of the Interior and the Prime Minister, is siding with those who beat. And this, unfortunately, fits into 4 years of tolerance, of providing a protective umbrella to various extremist groups, to various thugs, who have not beaten people on the streets for the first time - added the head of the Civic Platform-Koalicja Obywatelska club.

- What is happening today, what is happening on the streets of Poland, the lack of security that Poles feel, stems from the actions of this government. It's giving tacit approval to various kinds of groups, those who are fascist, nationalistic, homophobic, running around the streets with clenched fists full of hatred; it is this government that gives them approval by the fact that after situations like those that occurred in Radom, at the Independence March, where a woman was beaten, the police and prosecution are unable to find the perpetrators and punish them for months. This is the weakness of the state, it shows that under these rulers, it cannot cope with ordinary thugs – stated Sławomir Neumann in an interview with Agata Adamek on TVN24's "Jeden na jeden".

- I am surprised by this behavior [of the PSL], because they have made a very risky decision. I believe it's a bad one for Poland. Unfortunately, the voices we hear from Marek Sawicki, Waldemar Pawlak, or Eugeniusz Kłopotek speak directly about the possibility of a PSL-PiS coalition. This is the wrong direction. I will remind you how the satellites ended up. – That proposal came from Grzegorz Schetyna. - We are creating a leftist bloc. The foundation of this leftist bloc will be social issues; social democracy has always been about social issues, which is normal. The Constitution, upholding the rule of law, that is normal. The EU, into which we brought Poland. No one will take that away from us. Defending the Constitution, which we gave Poland, no one will take that away from us. Matters related to a secular state, matters of freedom, and an important issue for us are the state's obligations towards its citizens. That is, healthcare, which is in a dire state - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty in an interview with Michał Rachoń on the TVP Info program #JedziemyDalej.

- There are very significant programmatic differences [between the left and Civic Coalition]. Take, for instance, the tax system. We believe that the tax system should be structured such that the wealthy, the very wealthiest, should pay higher taxes, and the poorest either no taxes or lower ones - added the leader of the SLD.

I haven't heard of such provocations being used against any government other than the Polish one. There is no tolerance for extreme behavior, for violence in public life, regardless of the motivation. - From this place today, we demand the immediate dismissal of the National Prosecutor by Zbigniew Ziobro. It is the National Prosecutor who is responsible for issuing appropriate guidelines to Polish prosecutors, to push for swift proceedings and for those guilty to be brought before justice. Instead, we see absolute permissiveness, which is becoming an encouragement. The safety of Poles is paramount. Today, it affects the weaker, minorities, but tomorrow these manifestations of aggression may be directed at people with disabilities, children, because the symbol of Białystok will become the attack by this group of football hooligans on a 14-year-old, an innocent girl who was just passing by. Today it is a girl from Białystok, tomorrow it could be the child of any of you, and that is why we say: stop, we demand the dismissal of the National Prosecutor - stated Borys Budka at a briefing in Wrocław.

- The most important march will take place in October. Today, we must protest daily on the streets against such behavior. We will not play the game and scenario prepared on Nowogrodzka. Today, PiS wants to make these demonstrations and minority issues the main theme of the election campaign. That is not the case. We want to talk about how to improve the lives of Poles, how to fight inflation, for better, safer hospitals, how to eliminate smog. PiS does not want to talk about this. PiS wants to debate other matters, wants to talk on the street. This is not the way to defeat PiS. That is why we are protesting, we stand in solidarity with the victims. We are with them, we support them, but we will not implement the scenario written on Nowogrodzka - stated Grzegorz Schetyna at a briefing in Wrocław, when asked why PO would not participate in Saturday's march in Białystok.

- It is his decision, of course [Bogdan Zdrojewski's not running on the Civic Coalition's list for the Sejm]. I regret it because I believed he would be the best leader for the Civic Coalition's Sejm list. It will be a worthy person, just like Janina Ochojska, who achieved nearly twice as good a result as Bogdan Zdrojewski in the European Parliament elections. I hope that this person who will lead this list will also achieve a respectable result and will lead the Civic Coalition's representation in the elections to both the Sejm and the Senate - stated Grzegorz Schetyna at a briefing in Wrocław.

- For now, there's an agreement of three parties, but PPS has already joined this agreement. We'd like to create it so that there are as many party and non-party structures, associations, and city organizations as possible - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty in an interview with Adrian Klarenbach on Polskie Radio 24.

- Our credibility strongly supports us. Credibility, effectiveness, hard work. These values are particularly close to me. Politics must be based on credibility. Secondly: effectiveness, which means we must be able to pursue our interests in various world capitals, and especially in Brussels, and I think people have seen how, a month ago at the European Council meeting, Poland was able to set its terms regarding a just energy transition. - The statement by Mr. Piontkowski reminds me a bit of a situation where a woman is raped and told she might have been partially to blame because her skirt was too short - said Katarzyna Lubnauer in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program 'Wydarzenia i Opinie' on Polsat News.

„In Poland, there is a very sharp ideological dispute taking place between those who want to preserve the traditional model of family and society, who believe that same-sex unions are not something we should introduce and support, that adoption of children by these unions is not a good solution, and that children should not be raised in gender or LGBT ideology. This is what some believe. Others believe differently. This is a normal dispute. This does not mean that this dispute should take place on the street using fists or bricks, or using violence. Where there is violence, the Polish state must always react, regardless of who commits this violence and against whom – whether it is left-wing radicals against the Independence March, or football hooligans against the Equality Parade” – said Deputy Prime Minister Jacek Sasin in an interview with Katarzyna Kolenda-Zaleska on „Fakty po Faktach” on TVN24.

„They are not just purely political declarations. They can have a normative value, they affect the situation of people residing within the territory of a given local government unit, and administrative courts should deal with these resolutions, verify whether local government units can adopt resolutions which, in my opinion, contradict the Constitution and the ban on discrimination. We will be preparing such challenges” - said the Commissioner for Human Rights, Adam Bodnar, in an interview with Katarzyna Kolenda-Zaleska on TVN24’s “Fakty po Faktach”.
