- I think there's no point in talking about such a transactional perception of what will happen. We, as PiS, and more broadly, the ECR faction, were not interested in prolonging the EU, EC crisis. It had to be cut short, a choice had to be made so that we could move on to the next stages and operate normally – stated Jacek Sasin in a conversation with Krzysztof Skórzyński on TVN24's "Jeden na jeden".
- Indeed, we are striving for this Polish commissioner to be an important commissioner from our perspective. Energy is certainly such an area for us. It is an area where we want to convince our partners that climate policy is important, necessary, and we absolutely do not deny that bold actions are needed here, but it must take into account the specifics of individual countries, such as Poland – the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.

Sasin:
Great recognition for Szydło for deciding to run as a candidate for the second time. We had clear signals that the incident during the first vote would not be repeated

I Don't Believe Poland Has a Rule of Law Problem. It's the Opposition's Narrative
- I absolutely do not believe that Poland has a problem with the rule of law. It's the opposition's narrative. Yes. What rule of law problem do we have? None at all - stated Jacek Sasin in an interview with Krzysztof Skórzyński on TVN24's "Jeden na jeden".

“PiS and the entire ECR supported this candidacy as a compromise candidate. It is important that the person who became the head of the European Commission offers hope for dialogue, for substantive discussion, while the counter-candidacy, blocked by the Central and Eastern European countries united around Poland and Mateusz Morawiecki, blocked Frans Timmermans, who guaranteed conflict and confrontation. Imagine the continuation of the crusade that Timmermans would have led against Poland or Hungary. It would not have been good for the entire EU” – said Minister Michał Dworczyk on Jedynka radio.

Sasin:
For about 4 years, the opposition has believed that the party that decisively won the election has no right to implement its program

“One of the main economists from Civic Platform, Mr. Rzońca, recently predicted that the introduction of 500+ would lead Poland to a situation similar to what Greece found itself in some time ago. It turns out that Poland's economic results are among the best in Europe. I wouldn't attach too much importance to opinions that are often politically motivated. Between 2015 and 2019, PIT revenue for local governments increased by 46%. This is a very significant leap, and the decision on how these funds are spent lies with the authorities of individual cities. As for lowering taxes, it is embedded in the Law and Justice party's program. We announced this during the 2015 election campaign” - said Minister Michał Dworczyk in an interview with Polskie Radio Program 1.

Sasin:
If PiS Wins These Elections, We Will Definitely Want to Lower the Temperature of Political Dispute in Poland
- There must be a positive response from the other side, there must be a declaration from the opposition that it is interested in reordering certain relations between the opposition and the authorities. I personally fear that in this parliamentary term, i.e., even before the elections, this will be truly difficult. However, if PiS wins these [parliamentary] elections, we will definitely want to lower the temperature of political dispute in Poland. One could say that our victory guarantees that these relations will be able to be ordered truly as they should be in a democratic state. Without political war, witch hunts, political revenge. All that is announced, for example, by Grzegorz Schetyna, some gigantic revenge - stated Jacek Sasin in a conversation with Krzysztof Skórzyński on TVN24's "Jeden na jeden".

We Will Fight for a Result of Around 8-10%
- I deeply believe, especially after the signals from our voters following our decision, that we will enter parliament. We will fight for a result of around 8-10%. We will do everything to ensure the representation of our group, but also our coalition partners, entrepreneurs, local government officials, and non-party individuals, is as strong as possible - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on "Political Salon" on Polskie Radio Trójka.

There will be an electoral committee requiring a 5% threshold
- There will be a PSL-Koalicja Polska list, just as there is a PiS and United Right list. There will be an electoral committee requiring a 5% threshold - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on "Salon polityczny" (Political Salon) on Polskie Radio Trójka.

Brejza:
Szydło was dragged through the mud twice. This is a testament to PiS's weakness
„Prime Minister Szydło was dragged through the mud twice in a committee where she wasn't even the chairwoman. This is a testament to the weakness of this grouping. They are strong in their narrative, in the 'teddy bear' world of the screen, where there is the truth of the moment, the truth of the screen. In this truth of the screen, they are great, magnificent, they are the heart of Europe, but in the truth of the moment, when confronted, they cannot achieve anything for themselves. This is weakness, weakness, once again weakness” – said PO's campaign manager Krzysztof Brejza in an interview with Dominika Wielowieyska on Radio TOK FM's Poranek.

Brejza:
We strongly appeal to our PSL colleagues to distance themselves from bad advisors and voices pushing them aground
"Today, the Civic Platform's Management Board will be making decisions. For Platforma, this is no soap opera. It's a very good scenario that Grzegorz Schetyna has been consistently proposing and implementing for 3 years. A united opposition, open to all groupings. We strongly appeal, especially to our PSL colleagues, to distance themselves from bad advisors and voices that are pushing the PSL colleagues aground," said the head of PO's campaign staff, Krzysztof Brejza, in an interview with Dominika Wielowieyska on Radio TOK FM's morning show.

- It doesn't matter if it's one bloc, two blocs, three blocs. After the elections, the state will be together again. So, whether it's the European Coalition or the Polish Coalition, it doesn't matter, the telenovela continues, and in reality, everything has already been agreed upon, and they will go under a certain banner – said Krzysztof Sobolewski during a press conference, presenting a new PiS spot.

„There has been no decision yet in this regard [regarding the re-nomination of MEP Beata Szydło for the head of the EP Employment Committee]. Nothing is ruled out. Yesterday, the candidacy for the President of the European Commission was only accepted. Further assignments concerning the Commission itself, which is even more important, will be made in the coming days” - said government spokesperson Piotr Müller in an interview with journalists in the Sejm.
„At the moment, everything is on the table in the European Parliament. We are rational politicians and we act in such a way as to best represent Poland's interests. We are waiting for decisions that will be made in connection with the election of the new EC President, including portfolios within the EC. Regarding the elections in the EP, let's give our MEPs a chance to make a decision in this regard” - he added.

Müller:
We will strive for economic portfolios in the European Commission, concerning the common market and energy. This matter is not yet settled
“At the moment, discussions are ongoing [regarding Poland’s commissioner portfolio]. The Prime Minister spoke with the President of the EC yesterday, just before the vote. We will strive for economic portfolios, concerning matters of the common market, energy, and economic affairs. This matter is not yet settled,” said government spokesperson Piotr Müller in an interview with journalists in the Sejm.

We Will Present Details of the "Friendly School" Program in the Coming Weeks
- In the coming weeks, we will present the details of a precise program called "Friendly School." This is a pillar of Schetyna's 'Six.' We will show how school can serve education, how the state should treat teachers, and, most importantly, how the state should treat students - said Krzysztof Brejza during a press conference.

"The normal principle of respecting democracy and its rules is that the opposition holds certain positions, while the majority generally does not elect the opposition's representatives, so this is a violation of democratic principles. Even in our Sejm – we have a majority and we could choose not to elect, for example, Schetyna as the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, yet we acknowledge that the opposition has the right to its representatives. Here, the agreement has been definitively broken, and we express our disapproval. I believe we are still allowed to say that much" – said Minister Marek Suski in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm.

„As Prime Minister Morawiecki said in May, with this act we are introducing support for those who are in the most difficult situation and most in need of this support” - said PiS spokesperson Anita Czerwińska at a press conference in the Sejm.
„I think the proceedings of this project will be concluded at this session, because we want the funds for these weakest individuals to reach them in the third quarter, starting from October 1st” - added Urszula Rusecka.

"Polish law allows for subjecting judges of common courts to disciplinary activities and procedures and imposing disciplinary penalties on them due to the content of rulings issued by them, including in connection with their right, granted under Article 267 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, to refer questions to the Court of Justice for a preliminary ruling. The new system of disciplinary measures does not ensure the independence and impartiality of the Disciplinary Chamber of the Supreme Court, which is composed exclusively of judges selected by the National Council of the Judiciary, which in turn is appointed by the Sejm. It also does not ensure that a court 'established by law' decides in the first instance in disciplinary proceedings against judges of common courts. Instead, it empowers the President of the Disciplinary Chamber of the Supreme Court to determine, ad hoc and almost without limitation, which first-instance disciplinary court will adjudicate a given case. The new system does not guarantee that cases will be heard within a reasonable time, which allows judges to be kept in a continuous state of threat from pending cases and affects judges' right to defence. Poland had two months to respond to the arguments put forward by the Commission in the letter of formal notice. Following a thorough analysis of the Polish authorities' response, the Commission concluded that the legal concerns have not been dispelled. Therefore, it decided to launch the next stage of the infringement proceeding."The Polish authorities now have two months to implement the necessary measures to comply with this reasoned opinion. If Poland fails to do so, the Commission may decide to refer the matter to the Court of Justice of the EU.

- The President [of the National Health Fund, Andrzej Jacyna] indeed submitted his resignation today. Naturally, one should ask the President directly about the reasons. I happened to be in Katowice, while the President has new challenges. I also recommended the President's person to the Prime Minister as an advisor. For many years, the President truly fulfilled his role to the benefit of patients, for which we are grateful. I thank him for that - stated Łukasz Szumowski in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program "Events and Opinions" on Polsat News.

The Second Stage of the Procedure Initiated by the EC is Proof That the Dreams of Some PiS Politicians Will Not Come True. The EU Continues to Defend an Independent Judiciary
- This second stage of the procedure initiated by the European Commission is proof that the dream of some PiS politicians will not come true. The European Union continues to stand on the ground of defending values such as an independent judiciary – said Kamila Gasiuk-Pihowicz in an interview with Katarzyna Kolenda-Zaleska on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach".

- This is a typical political move. Surprising to the extent that the mandate of this European Commission, operating with its current composition, is slowly coming to an end - said Michał Wójcik in an interview with Katarzyna Kolenda-Zaleska on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach".

VAT Gap Multiplied Several Times Under PO-PSL Government. Tusk Still Doesn't See the Problem
“During the PO-PSL government, the VAT gap multiplied several times. In PLN terms, it reached PLN 50-60 billion annually, from 7.8% to 25-27%. An almost fourfold increase,” said Marcin Horała from PiS, chairman of the parliamentary investigative committee on VAT, on TVP Info's “Gość Wiadomości.”
“The ideology dominated that the first million must be stolen, and the PO government forgot that someone who steals the first million and gets away with it will steal the second, fifth, and tenth. Donald Tusk still doesn't see the problem,” he added.
