- First and foremost, we are awaiting the finalization of the verdict, which was delivered yesterday and is favorable to Poland. When it becomes final, large retail chains will be taxed, as proposed by the Polish government - said Joanna Kopcińska in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on "Salon polityczny" (Political Salon) on Trójka radio.

"I am a proponent of severe sanctions for these types of offenses, but I believe that the priority should be a discussion on the effectiveness of law enforcement. It's not the sanction that deters the perpetrator, but the inevitability of punishment," said Paweł Kukiz in an interview with Wojciech Dąbrowski on Polsat News. "These are not university babble. If someone is aware that the matter will be swept under the rug, we will achieve nothing."

When asked if it wasn't one step too far for Tusk to get involved in current politics, the PO leader replied: - This isn't a party gathering. We want it to be a meeting of all those who believe in the importance of Poland in the EU, in the importance of these relations. If the President of the European Council is with us, it's not as if this contradicts the policy of the European Council or the community.

- I haven't seen such a project, therefore there is no project, there is no topic - said Joanna Kopcińska in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on Polskie Radio Trójka's "Political Salon".

“Our draft bill was a good one. If any opinion was needed, it was the government’s opinion, but that is not a sine qua non for the first reading to take place. Since the government did not provide its opinion, who is delaying it?” Paweł Kukiz said in an interview with Wojciech Dąbrowski on Polsat News. 

“I have the impression that the government is trading these claims, thinking about Fort Trump, but if Fort Trump is to cost Poland $330 billion, as demanded by Jewish organizations for property lost in the Holocaust, which was looted and destroyed by the Germans, then what is this Fort Trump supposed to defend? Barren land?” he added. 

- This law is a political deception. It does not facilitate the fight against pedophilia. On the outside – it seems – it increases penalties, but it does not address the most important things. It does not speak of establishing a state independent commission – stated Grzegorz Schetyna in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet.

- There's an agreement between some bishops and Kaczyński and PiS. They are jointly involved in politics. Archbishop Gocdź. His statements about this film, his activity, his political engagement – I believe they exceed all norms of decency and normality in a country where the Church and state should be in normal relations. „Professor Legutko’s words were entirely misinterpreted. He is being attributed a tone that completely contradicts what he said, a tone that trivializes pedophilia. Professor Legutko pointed out that the majority of cases, according to official Church data, show that 60% of pedophilia has homosexual roots. A coach is a very important figure in the life of every boy and girl who plays; I know something about this, my older son used to play, and my younger son is currently playing football, he loves it and greatly enjoys every conversation with his coach. Therefore, professional coaches who will educate and train increasingly better players, the process of creating coaching schools, certified football schools, and football academies that will be supported by the Polish state. The third point is the broadly understood safety in stadiums. I am glad that things are already better in this regard. I will say briefly, it is clearly visible that the management of Ekstraklasa and first division clubs are making efforts for safety in stadiums, and compared to other leagues and countries, we are in a good position. Polish stadiums are safe, and I am pleased with the work that has been done so far. Of course, further work needs to be done in this area. The fourth area is the broadly understood sponsorship by State Treasury companies and large entities that should engage in football. Some of them are already involved; I know that the Ekstraklasa also has its sponsors, such as Totalizator Sportowy and PKO BP. We want support to be provided by large entities, State Treasury Companies (SSP), but also by private companies. The fifth point is that we will build various regulatory and tax solutions to stabilize and systematize the situation of Polish football. Today, at our meeting with all the club presidents, this was also discussed: to clarify certain, sometimes conflicting interpretations, including those related to ZUS (Social Insurance Institution) and tax matters.

We appeal for the suspension of religious education in public schools from September, so that religion is no longer taught in schools with public money, so that we as taxpayers are no longer exposed to unnecessary financing of the Church in the amount of 3 billion zlotys, but also so that parents can be sure that by sending their children to school, they are not exposing them to danger" - he added.

"We know that the property commission, which deliberated in recent years, led to an unequal situation where the Church received too much property, that property was transferred disproportionately to the compensation that was due to the Catholic Church. We demand the establishment of a new property commission that will re-evaluate the Church's property and check whether too much property was transferred within the framework of the [previous] commission" - Biedroń said.

- But if we truly want to eradicate this terrible evil, the only chance is the victory of PiS. PiS must win. Also in these elections. Also in order to change the EU - he added.

- In connection with the events of recent days, or even weeks, I must add a comment. We are, like the majority of Poles, Catholics. And we support the Church. But this, of course, does not mean that we support or want to tolerate any pathology within the Church. There can be no doubt about that. However, a certain game is being played today. A game whose audacity and hypocrisy crosses all boundaries. Attempts are being made to make us believe that we, a political formation that has been fighting for over a decade, almost since its inception, since the beginning of PiS's existence, for the tightening of everything that serves to stop pedophilia, that this formation is responsible for it. And this within the Church, as if we were controlling the Church. Well, I want to tell you: this is a lie. There were and still are those who defended pedophilia. They are very easy to name. It can be shown, and moreover, yesterday in the Sejm, concrete facts were presented. And these are primarily the Civic Platform party and its allies - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a convention in Łódź.

- Yesterday they [the opposition in the Sejm] tried to disrupt the session. To ensure there was no quorum. They did not participate in the vote, they left the hall, they raged all the time, unleashing their agitators, whose names I don't even want to mention. I repeat: they did not support this law, and none of their declarations or stories can change anything here - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a convention in Łódź.

Just as a smoker or someone who is only a passive smoker, sitting in a room with someone who is smoking, slowly loses their health. With true pedophiles, there is a problem of recidivism. Meaning, despite serving their sentence, they very often return to criminal activity. If we know that a pedophile, after serving his sentence and being apprehended, will be released and will re-offend, then what is better to do: give him a chance, perhaps he won't re-offend, or give children a chance not to be violated? I vote for the children. That's why I prefer him to be imprisoned, because while he's imprisoned, he won't violate - said Zbigniew Ziobro in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on the program 'Wydarzenia i Opinie' on Polsat News.

- The state should act with equal measure towards all environments and citizens. If a commission is to be formed, it should be one that addresses this problem in various environments, because we know that the problem of pedophilia as a phenomenon and the lack of a clear stance towards it is not exclusive to the Catholic Church, but also affects the Catholic Church. Today, the loudest topic concerns the Church, but let us note that there have been very high-profile cases in Poland involving representatives of various professions.
