We should talk more about the euro all the time. It's not a matter of enthusiasm, but of calculation. Please look at Slovakia, at the Baltic countries. They are not only politically more secure because they are in the eurozone, but they are also financially more stable. However, today there is no point in raising topics that require a great national discussion to be initiated. - I think it is possible [Donald Tusk's return to Polish politics], although he is so cautious in what he says. Andrzej Duda enjoys the highest level of trust among politicians – according to a survey on trust in politicians in Poland prepared by CBM Indicator. Mateusz Morawiecki and Beata Szydło are in the following positions. Patryk Jaki, Jarosław Kaczyński, and Zbigniew Ziobro also hold high ranks.

We are attaching the latest results of the survey on trust in politicians in Poland. The study was conducted by CBM Indicator using the CAWI method (online survey) from April 26-28, 2019, on a representative sample of N=1014 adult residents of Poland (internet users).

As highlighted in the announcement, the INDICATOR Research Center is one of the longest-operating research agencies in Poland. It has existed since 1990. INDICATOR is a member of the Organization of Market and Opinion Research Companies (OFBOR), holds certificates from the Interviewer Work Quality Control Program (PKJPA), and bases its operations on international ESOMAR standards.

- I just learned that the support program for pensioners, this 13th pension, is already starting to arrive in accounts. It's modest support, I admit that, but these are today's possibilities, but I believe it's important for many of you, Polish pensioners and disability pensioners. This is support that is simultaneously part, one could say the beginning, of a program to raise pensions in Poland along with the increasing possibilities of the state, increasing capabilities. - Every election is a competition, and it's worth looking at our competition, our rivals, those we clash with in elections, in campaigns. What was their stance on these large programs, now counted in tens of billions of zlotys? Well, they initially said there was no money and there wouldn't be any. Later, when it turned out that we could indeed implement these programs, execute them, they began to proclaim that they were too meager, that more should be given, even though the Polish economy and public finances couldn't afford it at the time, because public finances needed to be repaired and the Polish economy needed to grow as quickly as possible. We succeeded in doing that. But our opponents, initially so critical, later fell into a kind of confusion, because, setting aside the course of events over these 3.5 years, today they proclaim on the one hand that it's handouts, but this – and I want to emphasize this very strongly – is not handouts. This is precisely action for the development of Poland and justice at the same time. One could say that we are guided here by heart, because justice and empathy are from the heart, and by reason, because development and pro-development action result from rational thinking. Now, those who opposed this simply have a certain peculiar trait. That is, they simply cannot. To implement our program, one had to be able to repair public finances, lead to accelerated growth, and they simply could not do that - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Krakow.

- As far as facts are concerned, as far as what can be predicted is concerned, it will simply be the case that, to put it as briefly and simply as possible, so that no one has any doubts about what is meant. They will take it back. They will take back what we gave. They will take it back because they will have no other choice. They will take it back because public finances will once again be in a state of severe crisis. All those who plundered these finances will again have the feeling that it is possible again, that the situation has returned to what it was before. But there will also be a 'leftist' offensive, which can already be seen in many local governments, including here in Krakow. An offensive against traditional values and against common sense. If you want this wave, which is so harmful to Western Europe and is already beginning to harm Poland, to be stopped, to encounter resistance in the EU, in the EU institutions, then it is truly very important that the formation that will oppose this and be able to oppose it, because it already has a great deal of experience in the EU, has a truly large number of MPs there. - It probably still depends on several circumstances. Firstly, what will be the result of the European Coalition in the European Parliament elections. Secondly, what will be the result in the parliamentary elections in the autumn. Then Donald Tusk will decide. We supported it during the referendum, we have supported it throughout this entire period, and we continue to support it. We do not expect the Union to become an angelic organization. The Law and Justice party (PiS) has responded to the European Commission's meeting and reminded of Grzegorz Schetyna's words about the "PiS locusts." The official PiS account on Twitter shared a video with the caption: "Hey Platform, what's up with this contempt? We remind you." The accompanying video features snippets of Grzegorz Schetyna's earlier statements, in which he referred to the Law and Justice party as "PiS locusts" and accused them of "destroying everything." The video also includes footage from a meeting with European Commission officials, seemingly implying that the Civic Platform (PO) maintains a hostile stance towards Poland, despite their rhetoric.
