- First of all, I don't know what those earnings [at the NBP] amount to in the end, because these are media publications from media outlets that don't particularly love President Glapiński. Today, incidentally, they are attacking President Glapiński and his colleagues quite offensively, because the title "courtiers, be gone" is exceptionally offensive. However, if this information were true, it could of course be compared in two ways. Either to salaries in the public sector, in which case the salaries would be difficult to justify, significantly higher than those of the head of state and probably also the NBP president, as far as I know. But they can also be compared to salaries in the banking sector, which are, in turn, very, very high. So far, it has not been customary to disclose these salaries, not only during President Glapiński's tenure, but also that of his predecessors. From the statements of the NBP's legal representative, it appears that the entire remuneration structure was established by President Belka himself - stated Adam Bielan in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet.
