Lubnauer: We are a country where parliamentarism is being destroyed on its 550th anniversary - Nowoczesna was founded 3 years ago out of dreams. Dreams of a better Poland. A Poland that realizes the potential of its citizens, their activity, ambitious plans, and work. Dreams of a Poland that grants freedom, freedom to citizens, women, rights to minorities, and that we belong to the EU, that we are a very strong pillar of the EU, also with the euro. We remember these dreams and treat them as a commitment, but now we face new challenges. These challenges have changed because 2.5 years of PiS have changed Poland. We are currently a country becoming a country somewhere on the periphery of the EU. We are becoming a country without allies, we are a country where the freedoms of women and citizens are being restricted. We are a country where we are dealing with a situation where only one group believes it is entirely right. We are a country where public media insult our intelligence with crude propaganda. We are, above all, a country where parliamentarism is being destroyed on its 550th anniversary - stated Katarzyna Lubnauer during the joint session of the Civic Platform and Nowoczesna clubs.
