We have a year and a half. If we are wise, we will achieve a joint majority with the Civic Coalition in 2027. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz to find his way and join this group, then it will be great.”

-- WE ALREADY WENT WITH THE PLATFORM AND PSL ONCE, TO THE EUROPEAN ELECTIONS, AND WE GOT SCREWED - CZARZASTY FURTHER IN GW: “We already went with the Platform and PSL once, to the European elections, and we got screwed. And can you imagine Roman Giertych on the same list as the Left?”

-- I COOPERATE WELL WITH MR. TUSK, AND POORLY WITH MR. NAWROCKI, AND THAT'S IT - SAYS CZARZASTY: “We all saw the line the president took. He bet on the charm of a man from the setups, with a club in his hand. Not on a statesman. I cooperate well with Mr. Tusk, and poorly with Mr. Nawrocki, and that's it. I don't see any extraordinary stories in this.”

-- I KNOW A BETTER WAY. REPEATED ELECTIONS - Czarzasty's answer to the question of whether he considers the scenario of Confederation joining the Left and Civic Coalition in government in 2027, if the alternative were a Kaczyński-Braun-Bosak-Mentzen government.

-- HE IS THE ONLY PERSON WHO HAS POINTED OUT THREE PRESIDENTS IN POLAND. NO ONE ELSE HAS SUCCEEDED, THEREFORE I WOULD RECOMMEND A TRULY REASONABLE DISTANCE FROM HASTY THEORIES - CZARZASTY ON THE STATEMENT THAT KACZYŃSKI APPEARS TO BE THE WEAKEST IN HISTORY: “Now, meaning on Wednesday? Jarosław Kaczyński is a very interesting case of a person working in politics. He is the only person who has pointed out three presidents in Poland. No one else has succeeded, therefore I would recommend a truly reasonable distance from hasty theories about him.”

-- WHEN KACZYŃSKI LOSES ELECTIONS, HE GIVES UP POWER. I AM NOT CONVINCED THAT BRAUN WOULD ACT SIMILARLY IN SUCH A SITUATION. WHEN KACZYŃSKI RULED, DESPITE ALL THE RHETORIC, HE DID NOT LEAD POLAND OUT OF THE EU. IT IS WORTH REMEMBERING THIS - CZARZASTY FURTHER IN GW: “Kaczyński is a conservative who, of course, in the understanding of us democrats, has done a lot of bad things. At the same time, I will point out that when Kaczyński loses elections, he gives up power. I am not convinced that Braun would act similarly in such a situation. Kaczyński, when he ruled, despite all the rhetoric, did not lead Poland out of the European Union. It is worth remembering this. There are more radical currents, and they are truly to be feared.”

-- WHEN SOMEONE ASKS ME WHY WE VOTE FOR THE HEALTH MINISTER, I REPLY: BECAUSE SHE IS IN A GOVERNMENT THAT PROVIDES STABILITY - SAYS CZARZASTY TO KONDZIŃSKA AND SZPAŁA IN GW: “But that is precisely why we are loyal partners in the government. Because we believe that the alternative is a bad coalition. (...) So when someone asks me why we vote for the health minister, I reply: because she is in a government that provides stability to Poland.”
