"I believe this is not a good solution. A good solution is one where there is transparent information about queues for services, so that no one can be pushed ahead and everyone can see where they are, who is in front of them," said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in Polsat News, when asked about the proposal to ban combining work in private and public healthcare.

"Separating public and private services now will cause doctors to go where they have more money, i.e., to private service, where the work is also simpler, with fewer severe cases," she continued.

"If we start forbidding doctors from combining public and private work, we will deepen inequality, and I think that is not the intention of the Left. Those who have money will go to the best paid doctors in private service, and in public service, there will be those who do not have money and those doctors who do not qualify for private service," she went on to say.
