The ceremony of presenting letters of appointment to members of the Economic Council at the President of the Republic of Poland took place at the Belvedere Palace. The nominations were presented on behalf of the President of the Republic of Poland by Minister Karol Rabenda – Undersecretary of State at the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland.

- The operations carried out by the NBP, the ones I proposed, will not deplete the NBP's reserve reserves. They will not deplete them at all. A lot of noise has been made about attempts to deplete foreign exchange reserves - stated Adam Glapiński at a press conference.

- If we sell gold, we sell it for what, where, to whom, we sell gold in London for dollars. The value of what we have in reserves remains unchanged. Instead of gold, dollars appear. We will not do this because no agreement or understanding could be reached, but it would be an operation where we sell some gold, buy and receive dollars for it. - The central bank is apolitical, I firmly told the Prime Minister this once again yesterday, whether he appreciates that the current NBP president is the least politicized president in history, along with the entire management board. There hasn't been a more apolitical NBP president in the last 30 years - stated Adam Glapiński at a press conference.

- I recommended several months ago, and it is in the final stages of preparation, a draft resolution of the management board, that we are bringing more large quantities of gold to Poland. But without breaking the rule of scattering it to 3 locations - stated Adam Glapiński at a press conference.

- I have just issued an order, I have commanded that we commence, because we do this every few years, a physical inspection of our gold in London, in New York. Here, this is done continuously, and our special team goes, touches those bars, checks their numbers, etc. - stated Adam Glapiński at a press conference.

- We are operating under conditions of higher national interest, we are operating in a situation requiring the rapid strengthening of Poles' security. The public is not being frightened by the government, including by myself, but we all want to see clearly from the government, the president, and the prime minister, and everyone else, as well as myself, that there is an urgent need to finance armaments in Poland. Not in 10-20 years, but within 3 years, we must have a strong army within 3 years - stated Adam Glapiński at a press conference.

- The final decision has been made regarding the PiS candidates for the Constitutional Tribunal - informed Rafał Bochenek.

That's all I can say on the matter, and when it comes to the statements of people who have never governed, not even as part of a coalition, they simply have no clue about the conditions under which Poland is governed, it's better they don't speak up. - We have submitted a draft law to lower VAT on fuel and excise duty on fuel. And Mr. Speaker Czarzasty has referred it for consultation until April 8th. - This is not money that will lead to further borrowing. And on the other side, Marshal, you have debt to Western bankers. Stop standing with the Western financial market bankers. Allow the use of the State Treasury's resources that have been accumulated. This is my appeal to the Marshal - he continued.

- Regarding the SAFE program, it must be clearly stated. President Nawrocki's proposal, in cooperation with the National Bank of Poland, is a very good one that will allow us not to incur debt abroad. How? By utilizing the reserves that have been accumulated. What are foreign exchange reserves? What are central bank reserves? They are accumulated revenues belonging to the Polish state, and thus to the Polish society - stated Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference in Warsaw.

- When can these revenues be used? In extraordinary situations, during crises. If there is a war on our eastern border, if a threat is approaching, then frankly, I can't imagine a better time than the one before us to utilize these reserves. The International Monetary Fund and the World Bank present various analyses concerning the level of reserves, the coverage of monthly import amounts, and potential crises. It is evident that the amount they presented at 163% of a certain benchmark is absolutely sufficient. Therefore, let's not be blinded and let's not be taken aback. The proposal is very good and allows us to avoid paying Western financial markets, Brussels, Berlin, and London. 180 billion zlotys. Mind you - in interest alone - he continued.

- If these were grants, I wouldn't hesitate for 5 minutes. Let them give us 10 billion in grants. Madam editor, I wouldn't hesitate for 10 minutes. These funds would be immediately available, but this is a loan. And on the other side, we have a very good alternative prepared by the National Bank of Poland in cooperation with the Presidential Palace, proposed by President Karol Nawrocki - added the former prime minister.

- Of course I cooperate [with Przemysław Czarnek]. We are dealing with a disoriented part of the electorate, which, as a result of the misguided policies of some people, has shifted to Braun. Well, if someone attacks our own government, our own policies, instead of showing what has been achieved, then the word "disoriented electorate" is probably the most appropriate - stated Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference in Warsaw.

- And my colleague has the task of winning back this electorate. Will I cooperate? Of course I will cooperate with him, because we must as quickly as possible remove this very bad government, which we see today is not reacting to such a crisis, Donald Tusk's government, from power - he continued.

- The government has completely failed the exam. It has failed completely. There is no VAT reduction, no excise duty reduction, no fee reduction. Zero reaction to high energy prices, and now zero reaction to high fuel prices. When did the previous crisis hit with full force? We acted immediately. Right away. As some of you remember, I stood together with Daniel Obajtek. We introduced appropriate mechanisms at the gas station, including in Warsaw - stated Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference in Warsaw.

- And today I am here to make the current Prime Minister, my successor, realize how it's done. To tell him that he has the instruments. He can act. He can act immediately. It is done by implementing a reduction in fees, a reduction in VAT, a reduction in excise duty; the price on the pylons, at the gas stations, will then be lower. Today, all Poles are experiencing a tragedy at the pumps. We see clearly what is happening in the cities, in the villages. How much is this hitting the Polish economy? Farmers are experiencing another price shock - he continued. 

- I appeal for immediate action. Ania and my colleagues will speak further about farmers shortly, but we know very well that high energy prices, high fuel prices will soon translate into high food prices, into further inflation from Civic Platform, further inflation from Donald Tusk. This is a state of demolition, demolition of programs, demolition of investments, demolition of development programs in local governments. Instead of demolishing these programs, let them finally get to work. We know how to do it. We showed that it is possible, and we appeal for immediate action, not abdication of responsibility, resignation from any responsibility. The Prime Minister has hidden in a mouse hole - he emphasized.

- The President is lying to Poles with this law [on SAFE 0%]. I am saying this clearly and precisely. He is lying to Poles. Relying on the NBP president as a credible person is personally astonishing to me, because I want to remind you that President Glapiński once informed the public that there would be no inflation, and inflation reached 20% directly after his words - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a press conference in the Sejm.

- We will not proceed with the bill submitted by the President until the process related to the bill that was sent to the President is concluded. Why? Because the President must take responsibility for his decisions. Vetoing this bill will mean vetoing PLN 185 billion for the supplementation of the Polish army, it will mean saying “no” to 12,000 companies that would implement this program in Poland; 90% of the funds within SAFE will be used by Polish companies in Poland - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a press conference in the Sejm.

- On Friday, we will make the choice of Constitutional Tribunal judges. I wanted to inform you that the Sejm Presidium has just convened and recommended 6 names of candidates for the Constitutional Tribunal. These individuals, by decision of the Sejm Presidium, are Krystian Markiewicz, Maciej Taborowski, Marcin Dziurda, Anna Korwin-Piotrowska, Magdalena Bętkowska, and Dariusz Szostek. The Presidium has recommended these individuals, and therefore, these individuals will be processed during the Sejm session - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a press conference in the Sejm.

- During our government's term, we reacted to crises. Today, gasoline is very expensive, agricultural production costs are rising, and Donald Tusk's government is not reacting - wrote Mateusz Morawiecki on social media.

- If the state does not act now, it will hit farmers, and then food prices for everyone - emphasized the former prime minister.

- Therefore, concrete decisions are needed: subsidies for agricultural fuel - a refund of excise duty and a subsidy of up to PLN 2/liter for 120 liters/ha - he stated.

It's a very good, excellent, dynamic candidacy, and I think some other groups simply have a problem with that. - Because this act is only meant to service the European SAFE. I will tell you, a 15% advance payment will be 20-30 billion paid out at the turn of March and April - Grzegorz Kępka countered.

- The Minister of Finance submits a bill to the President for signature, in which there isn't a single zloty, not a cent, and then criticizes the presidential bill for lacking a single zloty, not a cent. [...] In fact, in the European SAFE act, submitted to the President by the government, the Prime Minister, and Minister Domański, there isn't a single zloty - the head of the Presidential Chancellery continued.

- Furthermore: gentlemen do not have an agreement, because they would need a loan agreement. They do not have this loan agreement. Furthermore: they do not have the terms of the loan agreement, meaning they don't even know on what terms they are taking it - he continued.

- The presidential draft [on SAFE 0%] should be debated today, because the Sejm session begins today. If Prime Minister Tusk kept his word, which unfortunately he has great trouble with - said Zbigniew Bogucki on Polsat News's "Graffiti".

- Prime Minister Tusk said on Friday that if he received specifics, and he received specifics yesterday, he would prepare a bill in a few hours. He doesn't need to prepare a bill, because the President prepared this bill, and I submitted it yesterday on behalf of the President - he continued.

- The Prime Minister and the government have all the information to debate the bill concerning the Polish SAFE 0%, establishing the Polish Defense Investment Fund, today, and they are not doing it. This is such a hallmark of Prime Minister Tusk - not keeping promises - he stated.

- President Karol Nawrocki will decide regarding the SAFE Act by March 20th, which is next Friday, as that is the statutory constitutional deadline. That is, 21 days from the bill's arrival on the President’s desk – Zbigniew Bogucki stated in the Polsat News program “Graffiti.”

- This is always the President’s decision. The decision can be made any day – he clarified later.

- There was a concept [regarding the Church Fund] for a tax deduction, but it failed. It would not have gained acceptance, either in the government or in parliament. I think it's an interesting idea, but we, in the team where we considered various concepts, did not reach the position that it is feasible to implement - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on RMF FM

- No, we are not participating in this operation [in Iran]. I don't think it will develop into a ground operation, a long-term ground operation in the mold of Afghanistan and Iraq - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on RMF FM

- I spoke with the President yesterday, before General Kukuła entered the President's office, I also spoke with General Kukuła. Of course, these were courtesy conversations, as the substantive discussions are, of course, [...] between the President and the Generals. Certainly, no such information was shared [about a veto of the SAFE act] - said Zbigniew Bogucki in an interview with Grzegorz Kępka on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

- Yesterday, I also spent several hours, one could say, with the President regarding the SAFE act, but also, and primarily, concerning the Polish SAFE 0%, which is a fund proposed by the President. And I know that during these conversations, no such information was conveyed - he continued.

- I don't think the Generals would have conveyed such information directly, that the President told them he would make such a decision. Because, simply put, according to my conversation with the President, such information was not passed on by the President to the Generals - he indicated.

- In short, it could have been some impression, it could have been a feeling. Although, as I said, these are, I understand, media speculations again, because none of the Generals have spoken in this manner - he added.

- Worse than what I suspected the President might show. The announcements were more boastful than the effect of this project. What is ready on the table? It is SAFE, a program developed by us, successful at the European level, awaiting signature. We can contract equipment under the SAFE program from tomorrow – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on RMF FM

At 9:30 AM, a press conference will be held by the Marshal of the Sejm, Włodzimierz Czarzasty.

At 9:45 AM, in front of the Orlen gas station in Warsaw, a press conference will be held by PiS Vice-Chairman Mateusz Morawiecki and PiS MPs Anna Gembicka, Krzysztof Ciecióra, and Grzegorz Lorek.

The Sejm session will commence at 10:30 AM with the second reading of the government's draft amendment to the Act on the State Labour Inspectorate.

At 1:45 PM, the second reading of the government's draft law on the coordination of anti-corruption activities and the abolition of the Central Anticorruption Bureau will take place.

In the evening, starting at 8:45 PM, the Sejm will address draft resolutions concerning Mercosur.
