Government Pressuring Commanders on SAFE? Kosiniak-Kamysz: Such a Situation Has Never Occurred and Never Will
- Nobody is pressuring [commanders regarding SAFE], nor is anyone threatening or endangering them in any way. We are very satisfied with the commanders who play truly crucial roles in the Polish army. I am very proud of them - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events) on Polsat News.
He was responding to the words of Marek Suski from PiS.
- Truly, never, you can ask them about it, if anyone - including myself - from the current Ministry of National Defence leadership has ever pressured any of the commanders to express their public opinion on this or that matter? Such a situation has never occurred and will not occur. I do not involve soldiers in politics - he emphasized.
- If they see an opportunity for rearming the army and they talk about it, I am not surprised at all - he added.
