Ziobro Before the State Tribunal? Prosecutor's Office Writes to the Marshal of the Sejm

- The Prosecutor General, Waldemar Żurek, has informed the Marshal of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland about the issuance on November 7, 2025, of a decision to present Deputy Zbigniew Z. with charges concerning 26 offenses related to his role as Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General - the National Prosecutor's Office announced in a statement.

- This notification may form the basis for the Sejm to consider whether the violations of law described in the decision to present charges can constitute the elements of a constitutional offense, and consequently – whether the premises for potentially holding Zbigniew Z. constitutionally accountable before the State Tribunal exist - it was noted.
