– Today we expected the continuation and conclusion of this interrogation. The interrogation was scheduled for 11 AM. At 11 AM, the prosecutor's office of the District Court in Warsaw registered the submission of a procedural document from the attorney of the Marshal of the Sejm, Szymon Hołownia, in which he justifies the witness's absence today – stated prosecutor Piotr Skiba.

– Today's absence was highlighted and justified by the Marshal of the Sejm's foreign visit. After analyzing this document, the District Court in Warsaw states that the so-called procedural etiquette (“kindersztuba”) was not observed. We believe that the witness's attorney, and in fact the witness himself, has unlawfully usurped the right to assess who can be considered a victim in this proceeding and who cannot, which falls under the purview of the proceedings' host – he continued.

– We consider the submission of such a document by the attorney at the reception office to be a sign of disrespect not only towards the prosecutor's office but, above all, also towards the parties to the proceedings who appeared for the interrogation today – he said.

As informed by the prosecutor, two new dates will be set – December 12 and 17.
