- Today, information about the reduction of American troops in Romania is circulating in the media, not only Polish but also global, which raises numerous questions regarding the situation and presence of US troops in Poland. In February of this year, the Secretary of Defense, now Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, is paying an official visit to Poland - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Kraśnik.

- I had the opportunity to speak with him for many hours, and publicly, in Warsaw, he assured of the continued presence of US troops in Poland, stating that he would even like there to be more of them. Later, in subsequent meetings at the Pentagon, I heard the same thing. Subsequently, President Nawrocki visited and met with President Trump. There, we heard assurances about the presence and possibility, as in Warsaw in February, of increasing the number of American troops - the Deputy Prime Minister continued.

- Two weeks ago in Brussels, during the NATO National Defense Ministers' summit, I again spoke with the US Secretary of War and again heard the same assurances. We have not received any information, unlike other countries like Romania today, about a reduction of the contingent in Poland. This is what I wanted to convey to you: Poland and the USA are ironclad allies - the head of the Ministry of National Defence emphasized.
