Such unambiguous truth, which sometimes, and increasingly often, is drowned out by negative emotions, by ominous signals, shouts, and screams. We live in an era where truth struggles so hard to break through organized lies, organized by external forces, and we have experienced this for many, many years, including through the political camp of our opponents. We know how important and how rare in today's times is the ability to speak the truth, in an open, honest language, calling things by their name - stated Donald Tusk at the Civic Platform's national convention.

At 12:00 PM, the National Convention of the Civic Platform of the Republic of Poland will take place in Warsaw.

Saturday marks the second day of the PiS (Law and Justice) programmatic convention in Katowice. The programmatic address by PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński is scheduled for 7:00 PM.

Additionally, throughout the day, main sessions and specialized panels will be held with the participation of prominent PiS politicians.

At 3:15 PM, the panel "Polish Justice – Reform of the Third Branch of Power" will be held, featuring, among others, Zbigniew Ziobro, Marcin Warchoł as moderator, and Michał Woś.

At 4:30 PM, the panel "Public Finances for a New Era" will be held, moderated by Mateusz Morawiecki.

Also at 4:30 PM, the panel "Challenges of the Presidency of Karol Nawrocki" will be held, with the participation of, among others, Paweł Szefernakier as moderator, Zbigniew Bogucki, Marcin Przydacz, and Adam Andruszkiewicz.

At 5:45 PM, the panel "The Art of Winning, Governing, and Managing a Modern State" will be held, featuring Mariusz Błaszczak, Joachim Brudziński, Mateusz Morawiecki, Paweł Szefernakier as moderator, and Beata Szydło.

- They killed public media, they kicked down the doors of television on December 20th, because they are enemies of pluralism, because they are enemies of freedom, because they long for their lost information monopoly. Fortunately, what we managed to build over these 7 years of good change in public media is the generation of a certain axiological community of Polish viewers - said Jacek Kurski at the "Thinking Poland" program convention.

- Poles, over 7 years, having a choice, having real access to political and media pluralism, which has become a condition for their freedom of democratic choice, have become so accustomed to it that they will not allow this freedom to be taken away from them - Jacek Kurski continued.

- The liquidation of public media is entirely unlawful. Article 26, point 1 of the Radio and Television Broadcasting Act of December 29, 1992, clearly states that public radio and television entities operate exclusively in the form of sole shareholder companies of the State Treasury, hereinafter referred to as companies, and point 2 of this act states that public television operates in the form of Telewizja Polska Spółka Akcyjna (Public Television Joint-Stock Company) established for the purpose of creating and disseminating programming. There is no mention here that it operates in the form of Telewizja Polska S.A. in liquidation. Therefore, they will be jailed, and what's more, they will also be jailed for violating the act on financing public media.- said Jacek Kurski at the "Thinking Poland" programmatic convention.

- Law and Justice wants to change Poland for the better, to improve the living conditions of Poles, while Civic Platform is changing its name, propaganda-style, to boost its poll numbers - wrote Jarosław Kaczyński on social media.

- We are about Poland, they are about themselves. The second day of debates on the future program of Law and Justice is starting. When we say something, we do it. Nothing comes of their promises. Credibility first - emphasized the PiS leader.

- Let us oppose evil, let us not be terrorized, let us not allow Poland to be engulfed by a wave of lies, contempt, and hate again. This is, among other things, precisely why we are here today - stated Donald Tusk at the national convention of the Civic Platform (PO).

- We cannot be convinced, I am addressing all of you, those who must still have the courage and strength in the coming years to go in the direction I am talking about, a sovereign, rich Poland, a Poland of free Poles, you cannot be convinced that this great confrontation, this great dispute over fundamental matters has ended or lost its significance - stated Donald Tusk at the national convention of the Civic Platform.

- It is quite the opposite. We are uniting today because we understand that this is not just about a fight for power, about future elections, no. This is about absolutely fundamental things. It is about whether Poland will be a sovereign state and whether Poles will maintain the freedom, won in 1989, against threats, manipulations, and pressures from outside and from within - he continued.

- We want to do great things, because history calls us to it. The history of years past and the history that is unfolding before our eyes. Because it is great challenges that make our efforts great, and we understand what these great challenges entail - stated Donald Tusk at the national convention of Civic Platform (PO).

- That is why I asked for this day of unity to be organized on the day when our opponents, our political adversaries, are contemplating how to loot Poland again. There is no better backdrop, no better evil for what we are talking about today, will be talking about, than what flowed from the lips of our political opponents yesterday, because they said exactly what they are after, directly - stated Donald Tusk at the national convention of Civic Platform (PO).

- I know it is difficult for some to accept that a very serious game is being played here, not about malice, but about whether Poland will defend its independence, sovereignty, and the path to prosperity, the one we have been following for over 30 years - stated Donald Tusk at the national convention of Civic Platform (PO).

- Today we are uniting because we understand that what connects us and the conviction that we can serve effectively, that we can be strong in defense of good and truth, is infinitely more important than what divides us. This is the lesson from Polish history. I don't want to philosophize too much here, because you know, life and politics are simple choices. In reality, we are usually faced with black and white choices, and there's no point in complicating these obvious and simplest choices - Donald Tusk continued.

- If today we say to Poland that we want to be strong, we need strength, and the foundation of strength is the unity of all those who think alike, who want to act alike, then we are doing this because evil lies on the other side. Evil in politics is everything that happens beyond Poland's borders, but unfortunately also what happens within our societies and in other European countries – stated Donald Tusk at the national Civic Platform convention.

- Poland will be safe for as long as it is a desired partner for the most ambitious, those guaranteeing our security against Russian aggression, for as long as we are in power, for as long as we win against those who want to ruin things here - stated Donald Tusk at the national convention of Civic Platform (PO).

- There is no reason why we should dismiss what Kaczyński and his acolytes said yesterday. They are proposing complete isolation for us, perhaps not a hot war, but a cold war with our Western neighbors, de facto complete helplessness against potential Russian aggression - he continued.

- After all, yesterday when you looked at their faces, those wolf appetites. It's truly better to have a Prime Minister with wolf eyes in power than a party with wolf appetites. - You know why Poles trust us when we talk about Europe in Poland and Poland in Europe. - I don't need to remind anyone what 8 years of PiS was. It was Kaczyński's attack on Poland, on our democracy, on our institutions, on our dreams. He tried to destroy it all in the name of his pursuit of power, and we are here in Civic Coalition to, first and foremost, not allow what we have built over these years, over generations, to be destroyed - stated Adam Szłapka at the national Civic Platform convention.

- Today, in Polish circumstances, the word "rule of law" sounds like a bitter irony, because we live in a country where the authorities ostentatiously violate the constitution and laws. They are forcibly taking over public media, this has obviously happened, but it is ongoing. They are removing court presidents, preventing the National Prosecutor from entering his office, the most important professional prosecutor in Poland, preventing him from performing his duties. The authorities are doing something which is a horrendous act and probably no one in the civilized world would have ever dreamed of, namely, destroying the judges of the Constitutional Tribunal by not paying them for their work - said Zbigniew Ziobro at the "Thinking Poland" program convention.

- I remember a debate in Końskie, where the President, then a candidate, was asked where his first foreign trip would be. He said the United States with a stopover in the Vatican, and it was part of a certain discussion about how it should look, but ultimately it was the President's decision - said Paweł Szefernaker at the "Thinking Poland" program convention.

- I remember when we returned to Warsaw, a staff meeting, and Marcin [Przydacz] said, "If we win the election, I'll feel sorry for whoever has to organize it, because technically it's practically impossible to arrange the president's schedule in the first month to meet with both the President and the Pope simultaneously," and Marcin didn't know that in a few months he himself would have to carry out this difficult task - Szefernaker continued.

- The President's first decisions, to strengthen alliances, to strengthen the key alliance that is the Polish-American alliance within NATO, the relationship with the Americans, especially considering that the liberal-left governing coalition currently leading Poland has very poor relations with the Americans, and all of this can translate and is translating into a potential decrease in security. And what is the President doing in the first weeks? He is going to Washington - said Marcin Przydacz at the "Thinking Poland" program convention.

- Minister Szefernaker is right to say it was a difficult task, because it's never the case that you can call the White House and set your own date for arrival on a specific day. It required various diplomatic actions, but also flexibility and openness on the American side, which was evident thanks to Karol Nawrocki himself. President Donald Trump must have liked him during their initial contacts, and this chemistry, as they say, this positive personal relationship between the presidents, is translating well into our relations today, and I am convinced it will continue to do so in the future - said Marcin Przydacz at the "Thinking Poland" programmatic convention.

- I can truly reveal to you, as an observer of various diplomatic discussions over many years, that the way President Nawrocki has actively and very professionally entered these first weeks of his presidency as the primary diplomat of the Republic of Poland makes a huge impression. His charisma, which he shares with his partners, strongly translates into his negotiation abilities and the effectiveness of the goals achieved. - said Marcin Przydacz at the "Thinking Poland" program convention.

- Today I don't hear anyone saying that it's possible to govern without a president. I think some people have already realized what it will look like, what such a cohabitation will look like - said Paweł Szefernaker at the "Thinking Poland" program convention.

- Donald Tusk emerges after the lost vote on the Central Communication Port, in a state of agitation and frenzy, saying the President vetoes everything. Of course, this is a lie, because what President Szefernkaker read were 55 signed laws - said Zbigniew Bogucki at the "Thinking Poland" program convention.

- But returning to the issue of the veto, which is a firm presidential prerogative, one that fortunately the rulers did not manage to outmaneuver as they did with other institutions or constitutional instruments, for example, that the Constitutional Tribunal does not exist, that the Supreme Court is non-existent, that the presumption of constitutionality is gone, that the irremovability of judges is a fairy tale, because they will point out who can be a judge and who cannot, they will blur all of that, but they will not blur the presidential veto. Notice, ladies and gentlemen, that this is an instrument that is very strongly rooted in the consciousness of Polish society as a final decision, but to deal with this veto, for a long time there was this narrative that the president can use this veto, it is indeed a final decision, but he should not do it, or only in truly exceptional situations - Zbigniew Bogucki continued.

- The veto was presented as something that disrupts good politics, something that is unconstructive, something that is negative, and I will provide 3 examples. The first veto, very important, perhaps not the first, but extremely important. The law concerning Ukrainians. This law cannot be vetoed, everything will fall apart, the world will end, there will be an armageddon, and it's pro-Russian, etc. The President vetoes it, and what turns out to be true. The government, which for a year and a half was unable to introduce any new provisions limiting, for example, the 800 plus benefit, even though Trzaskowski spoke about it in February, concerning limitations on healthcare benefits, no one did anything with this law for a year and a half. Suddenly, within a dozen or so days after President Nawrocki's veto, it turns out that the system can be sealed - said Zbigniew Bogucki at the "Myśląc Polska" (Thinking Poland) program convention.

- The second example is a veto concerning one of the energy sector laws. This must be implemented because otherwise, we won't have gas here soon, it's the end of the world. This wasn't as loud as the Ukrainian law, of course, and its provisions were so dangerous that they allowed a large quantity of Polish gas to be stored outside Poland's borders at a very difficult time - Zbigniew Bogucki continued.

- The President vetoes it, and within a dozen or so or a few weeks, a law without that provision arrives, and the Government Strategic Reserves Agency can store gas in Poland - Bogucki continued.

- Then there was the agricultural law, which was also vetoed. No, because everything will collapse, EU regulations will come into force. Suddenly, it turned out that even the European Union, I don't know if it was a result of President Nawrocki's veto, but the effect is ultimately that, I can infer, the European Union extended the entry into force of regulations concerning additional burdens for Polish farmers by two years - stated Zbigniew Bogucki.

- We won't get very far if we face a powerful propaganda machine, because that's how it must be said. I think all of you know this perfectly well, the propaganda machine of the Third Republic's media and our political opponents. And only when a member of our team, everyone who works with us, is, as they say colloquially, 'biting the grass,' rewarded for their immense effort, for their effectiveness, they will rather ask for forgiveness than for permission. I mean to say that it is better to act than to call the boss, the head of the department, the prime minister, the minister every 5 minutes to ask if I can do this or not - stated Mateusz Morawiecki during a specialist panel at the PiS program convention.

- We face numerous challenges in defending Polish subjectivity and sovereignty within the European Union. Considering that our opponents in this regard are not only states within the European Union or the bureaucracy, but unfortunately, we also have an entire group within the Polish system, and unfortunately, it is a group that today governs Poland, which, in my opinion, does not fully respect the subjectivity and sovereignty of the Republic of Poland - said Marcin Przydacz at the "Thinking Poland" program convention.

- He believes, and it probably stems from their complexes, a complex of inferiority, that it would be better if they dissolved into such a European mass, even if this European mass did not have the flag of the European Union but of a single state located west of our border - Marcin Przydacz continued.

- Of course, politics is professionalizing. The best example of this is Paweł [Szefernaker], Tomek Matynia, Lucjusz Nadbereżny. Young politicians, Darek Kmita, these are people who today are entering politics with a resource that allows us to be effective and win, because in politics you have to be effective, you have to know how to win - stated Joachim Brudziński at a specialist panel during the PiS program convention.

- For the first time in 30 years, Poland lacks ambassadors in over half of its foreign missions. The blame for this, of course, lies with Minister Sikorski and Donald Tusk. It is their direct decision that has paralyzed the Polish foreign service. The President wants a repair in the spirit of the state, but he cannot agree to the stripping of the President's constitutional prerogatives and the breaking of a certain good tradition - said Marcin Przydacz at the "Thinking Poland" programmatic convention.

- Time is our great enemy, because we are running out of time, and therefore this announcement by President Nawrocki regarding a new constitution, not a revision of the constitution – this constitution, repeatedly trampled, violated, and disgraced in various ways, cannot be fixed. A new constitution must be written. From it, we can perhaps draw upon its axiological version, but in the context, for instance, of the separation of powers, we can no longer afford for it to be unclear who makes decisions. The decision-making process must be efficient and swift - said Zbigniew Bogucki at the "Thinking Poland" program convention.

Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz commented on the X portal about the idea of making women's retirement age dependent on the number of children. This idea was submitted by an anonymous person in a petition to the President of the Republic of Poland.

"Women's retirement age tied to the number of children, a 'grandpa's dream' of how to keep ladies at home, exclude them from professional and public life, and ultimately push them into poverty.

According to this approach, a woman raises children and in return receives a 'reward' – a shorter working period. A man, who gets nothing for parenthood anyway, leaves the caregiving to his partner to fulfill his patriotic duty by building a career, earning money, and holding power. And a woman who diligently 'enlarges' our nation will receive a starvation pension at the age of 55. Because after years of parental leave and consequently a short contribution period, she won't be able to count on anything else. She will thus become dependent on her husband, and when he leaves or dies, she will fall into destitution. Unless merciful children, preferably sons (because daughters will be busy giving birth and living off their husbands), extend a helping hand to her.

Does anyone really believe that such a prospect will convince young women today to start families?

The solution is different: conditions must be created for parents to share responsibilities: flexible working hours for mothers and fathers, accessible nurseries, and affordable rental housing for families with many children who need it.

And if the retirement age is to be lowered, it should only be voluntarily, depending on the length of parental leave, regardless of gender, with high contributions ensuring a decent pension."

And my dear friends, I think that moment has come to remove this bad team that is governing Poland from power. - We must win the election, we must construct a program that will serve this goal. And which will simultaneously be a proposal, and effectively thanks to this will serve, that addresses all the most important strata and groups of our society, our nation - said Jarosław Kaczyński at the "Thinking Poland" program convention.

- I have here this modest brochure, a small brochure. It refers to taxes, to their simplification, not their reduction, because Poland already has low taxes, and that is thanks to our government, but the procedures for collection must be simplified, because they are often very complicated and very burdensome, and here it has been shown how this can be done. This is one example, but a very important one, and it is of course directed, in essence, primarily towards one environment, a very important environment, the environment of entrepreneurs - said Jarosław Kaczyński at the "Thinking Poland" program convention.

- We must organize dozens of such smaller conferences on specific issues. Because many questions need to be clarified. Many differences of opinion need to be reduced to a single decision. And this will not happen on its own. It needs to be prepared, and it is a great deal of work - said Jarosław Kaczyński at the "Thinking Poland" programmatic convention.

"We must establish truly very intensive contact with society. We have a tour of all powiats ahead of us. What's more, an even more ambitious tour - of all municipalities," said Jarosław Kaczyński at the "Thinking Poland" program convention.

- One party, which undoubtedly already exists, is even a large and strong party, sometimes it has high ratings, but somehow strangely connected with their various ventures. Well, of course, this is just a suggestion, I am not deciding anything here. This party united with two others that also exist only discreetly. Discretion is indeed a great virtue, so there is nothing to laugh about here. So these two discreet parties merged with this one indiscreet one and they also decided on a new name, the same one that was before - said Jarosław Kaczyński at the "Thinking Poland" program convention.
