Nawrocki in the USA

Wednesday is the final day of President Karol Nawrocki's visit to the United States. The Head of State will be in New York, where at 5:00 PM Polish time, he will meet with the President of Montenegro, and half an hour later, with representatives of the Polish media.

At 6:00 PM, a meeting between the Polish President and the President of South Korea is scheduled. At 10:30 PM, Nawrocki will participate in a high-level UN Security Council debate on artificial intelligence and international peace and security, during which the Polish President is expected to speak.

07:46

Nawrocki:

We Are Seeking Participation in G20 Works

- Poland, a co-founder of the United Nations, is the world's twentieth-largest economy and a country that, over the last 30 years, has successfully transformed from a developing country into a developed one, and from a centrally planned economy into a market economy - wrote Karol Nawrocki on social media.

- This unique experience allows us to make a significant contribution to UN discussions on development, bridging the perspectives of the global East and West, as well as the North and South - emphasized the President of the Republic of Poland.

- Considering our potential and experience, we are consistently seeking participation in the G20 works – a format that serves as a bridge in the current turbulent times. We hope that the invitation to cooperate and participate in the group's next summit, extended by the United States – for which I thank the US President – will translate into Poland's permanent presence within this group - he stated.

07:59

Szłapka:

On matters of security, defense, and diplomatic issues, there must be one voice, and it's very good that it exists

- On matters concerning security, defense, and diplomatic issues, Poland's position here – there must be one voice, and it's very good that this voice exists. Poland has one foreign policy; the foundation of our security is the NATO alliance. No one questions this; we are in the EU, our allies are in the West. The threat is Russia; all political forces in Poland, all major political forces have been saying this for years – stated Adam Szłapka on TVP Info.

08:03

Szłapka:

We Repeatedly Warned Western Allies Not to Feed Russia with Money

- We warned, and the president also spoke about this, earlier the prime minister too, at many European meetings; we repeatedly warned Western allies that Russia must be truly handled with caution, that it cannot be fed money. We also said that Ukraine must be supported - stated Adam Szłapka on TVP Info.

08:05

Szłapka:

Poland has Always Been a Hawk When It Comes to Sanctions Against Russia

- In Poland, nobody has any doubts, and Poland has always been a hawk when it comes to sanctions against Russia, even before the full-scale war began – after all, this conflict has been ongoing since 2014 - stated Adam Szłapka on TVP Info.

08:24

Szłapka on night-time alcohol bans:

I would prefer this decision to be made by local governments

- Frankly speaking, I would prefer this decision [regarding night-time alcohol bans] to be made by local governments, and if I were a councilor, for example in Poznań, where I am from, I would vote as the city councilors do - stated Adam Szłapka on TVP Info.

- I am not a spokesperson for the Warsaw City Council, I did not like how it all looked, but decisions on this matter are made by the Warsaw City Council, which has a mandate from the residents - he continued.

08:28

Morawiecki on the Lviv Conference:

I Had the Opportunity to Speak with the Best of the Best in New Technologies.

- Today's fight is waged not only with soldiers, but also with drones, radars, and technological solutions - wrote Mateusz Morawiecki on social media.

- During the Defense Tech Valley 2050 conference in Lviv, I had the opportunity to speak with the best of the best in the field of new technologies - the former prime minister emphasized.

- What technology should Poland invest in first – drones or radars? - highlighted the PiS vice-chairman, publishing a short video clip.

08:29

Przydacz on Nawrocki's Meeting with Trump:

Polish-American Relations in Good Hands.

- President Karol Nawrocki and his Spouse during a meeting with President D. Trump and his Spouse in New York. Polish-American relations are in good hands - wrote the Head of the Presidential International Policy Bureau, Marcin Przydacz.

08:34

An Agreement Between Nawrocki and Sikorski? Zgorzelski: There's No Other Way, They're Not Doing Favors

- There is no other way than agreement within the constitutional logic, both between the president and the building on Szucha Avenue [...] and also between the Presidential Palace and Klonowa - said Piotr Zgorzelski in a conversation with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program "Gość Radia Zet", when asked if Radosław Sikorski and President Karol Nawrocki would reach an agreement regarding ambassadors.

- Both of these actions are inscribed in constitutional logic. I'll go further, neither the president nor the minister of foreign affairs and the Ministry of National Defence should and are not doing any favors - he continued.

08:42

Zgorzelski Critiques the Left's Proposals to Restrict Alcohol Sales:

Why Don't We Sew 36 Million Uniforms and Become Like North Korea?

- Let's trust the citizens. I mean local governments, because local government isn't just a village mayor, a town mayor, or even a councilor, but the people. Let the people decide in a town in Podkarpacie, Podlasie, or Pomerania - said Piotr Zgorzelski on Radio Zet, when asked if he supports the Left's proposals, such as banning alcohol sales at gas stations and a night-time prohibition.

- They should decide whether they want a night store, whether they want alcohol sold during certain hours, or not, really, should we in the Sejm regulate people's lives like this? Why don't we then sew 36 million uniforms, put them on, and become like North Korea - he continued.

- I would prefer that in the matter of whether a liquor store in town X is open or closed, the Sejm does not decide, because we will simply go mad - he further stated.

08:46

Szynkowski vel Sęk: Nawrocki's Visit to Washington Was a Key Element in Trump's Evolving View on Russia

- President Donald Trump's perspective on the actions of the Russian Federation, on the situation in Ukraine, is becoming increasingly realistic, pragmatic, and increasingly takes into account the reality in which the Russian Federation does not respect any principles of international law – said Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk in an interview with Grzegorz Osiecki on "Sygnały dnia" PR1.

- I think that a significant element of this evolution in the American president's outlook was the visit of President Karol Nawrocki to Washington on September 3rd. Because shortly after that meeting, I received a report from Minister Marcin Przydacz, with whom I spoke, who indicated that during that meeting, President Nawrocki presented a number of arguments that were accepted by President Trump – he continued.

- The reflection after this meeting was that President Trump's perspective appears to be a bit different from what we were dealing with in the preceding weeks. So, this is good news, because from Poland's point of view, it is of course a positive change – he stated.

08:53

Change of Sejm Marshal? Zgorzelski: The Coalition Agreement Clause Will Be Fulfilled

- This is a clause in the coalition agreement and it will certainly be fulfilled - said Piotr Zgorzelski on Radio Zet, when asked if the swap of Marshal Hołownia for Marshal Czarzasty would be carried out painlessly.

- I am not entirely sure about anything, but I believe that such demands should be met - he continued, when pressed if he was certain.

08:57

Zgorzelski:

I'm Not Sure if the Government Reconstruction is Over. I Agree it's Irrelevant to the Council of Ministers' Operations

- I believe we shouldn't be held hostage by pronouncements about, for example, having the largest or smallest government in the world. Because I think a government should be not so much the smallest or largest, but primarily effective, and if there's a need arising from the economy, security, and other matters, then let the government be such as to meet those demands - said Piotr Zgorzelski on Radio Zet.

- Frankly, I don't know for sure either whether this reconstruction has ended or not - he continued.

- I don't know, because I'm more involved with parliamentary affairs. However, if you were to ask me if I know whether the reconstruction has already come to an end, I think not yet - he continued, when pressed if there was a problem with it.

- I agree - he added, when asked about the fact that 70% of Poles surveyed considered this matter completely irrelevant to the government's operations.

- There was a point to it in that after the elections, the Prime Minister announced that there would be a government reconstruction - he noted, when asked about the purpose of the reconstruction.

09:08

Zgorzelski:

Fighting the Banderite Lie Requires Not an Amendment, but a Good Discussion, Then a Good Law

- I believe it was unserious to attach the issue in the form of an amendment to this law [on aid to Ukrainians]. Truly, the fight against the Banderite lie and the fight for Volhynian memory requires not an amendment, because it is unserious, but first and foremost requires a good discussion, and then a good law - said Piotr Zgorzelski on Radio Zet.

- Of course, yes, I even have to say that such a law is probably available to be pulled from the freezer and was submitted perhaps by one of the parliamentary clubs, and perhaps we will have to work on it or submit another and create some joint project - he continued, when asked if he would prepare such a law.

- We did not engage in supporting an amendment that was purely propagandistic and changed nothing. There must be sanctions, it must be specifically described what constitutes the Banderite lie or the Volhynian lie, and the glorification of Banderism in Poland. It is too big a problem to be contained in an amendment - he went on to say.

09:21

Zgorzelski on Nawrocki:

He Conducts Dynamic Foreign Policy, Makes No Major Mistakes.

"He announced that he would conduct a dynamic foreign policy and it's visible that he is conducting this dynamic foreign policy and so far he hasn't made any major mistakes," said Piotr Zgorzelski on Radio Zet, when asked if he liked what President Karol Nawrocki has been doing since August 6.

09:32

Szynkowski vel Sęk on draft bills regarding night-time prohibition:

We are before a club discussion.

- We are before a club [Law and Justice party] discussion, so we don't have the club's stance yet. However, I can tell you what my personal stance is on this matter - said Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk on "Sygnały dnia" PR1, when asked about two draft bills concerning night-time prohibition that have been submitted to the Sejm.

- In 2017, I was one of the co-authors of the act that gave local governments the right to make decisions about partial, temporary, territorial prohibition or restriction of alcohol sales. As a former local government official, I believed that the decision should be in the hands of local government officials - he stated.

- Now the question is whether it is the right regulation of this situation to give this right to people who are closest to the citizens, i.e., local government officials, or to go a step further and establish a certain ban on alcohol sales from the top down, which in practice means taking away this right from local government officials. My personal reflection is this: let's leave this right to local government officials after all - he indicated.

09:43

Szynkowski vel Sęk Asked About Kaczyński's Words on Constitutional Changes:

I'm Not Inside the President's Head.

- I can imagine that the constitution can be supplemented – in areas where it defines certain matters too generally, in too little detail – by statutes, also specifying certain elements that are not fully articulated in the constitution. But this is my interpretation. I am not inside the President's head to know exactly what he meant - said Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk in „Sygnały dnia” PR1, when asked about Jarosław Kaczyński's words:

Kaczyński on Constitutional Changes: 2/3 of Votes Isn't Easy...

09:52

"Very Preliminary Work is Underway'. Szynkowski vel Sęk on the Assumptions of a New Constitution

- Very preliminary work is currently underway to actually prepare certain assumptions for a new constitution. As we are at an initial stage, it is very difficult to determine [in which direction it will go]. There are many voices suggesting that it would be worthwhile to strengthen the president's competencies in the assumptions of a new constitution - said Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk in 'Sygnały dnia' on PR1.

10:12

Kosiniak-Kamysz on Shooting Down Objects:

Let's Leave What Belongs to Politicians to Politicians, and What Belongs to Soldiers to Soldiers.

- The Polish Army is responsible for all of this; commanders make decisions and issue appropriate orders to their soldiers - Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz said at a press briefing in Warsaw, when asked if it was true that pilots could autonomously decide to shoot down objects violating Polish airspace.

- Let soldiers make decisions and issue orders to commanders - indicated the head of the Ministry of National Defense.

- What General Klisz said – he had absolute freedom, within the scope of his competencies and the laws in force in the Republic of Poland, to make a decision on the night of September 9th to 10th. He was not influenced by the President, the Prime Minister, or the Minister of Defense. He made these decisions after assessing the situation, considering all remarks, together with our officers, allies, and in contact with the command in Brunssum - he continued.

- Let's leave what belongs to politicians to politicians. What belongs to soldiers – to soldiers - added the Deputy Prime Minister.

10:44

Hołownia Announces Changes to So-Called 'Kilometer Allowances'

- Regarding kilometer allowances, I have initiated some work aimed at obtaining the consent of this chamber for a certain limit, above which it will be obvious that reimbursement requires invoices, and there will also be parliamentary trips undertaken in the field where it will be truly difficult to obtain full information, as one will be traveling to 2 or 3 locations - stated Szymon Hołownia during a Sejm session.

- This is the nature of performing our mandate. I am in favour of introducing a limit, above which reimbursement will be required, while below that I would leave it as is, but I will also leave the decision on this matter to my successor and to you, because you are the members of parliament - the Marshal of the Sejm continued.

- Regarding alcohol, just to be clear in this chamber where I am conducting proceedings, I will not back down. However, when it comes to the issue of kilometer allowances and reimbursements, each of you must take it upon your conscience - he emphasized.

10:49

"I Treat Sikorski Completely Unseriously." Kaczyński on the "External Government"

- I agree [with the President's words]. I particularly appreciate the firm stance towards Russia. Also, those statements that speak of a harmful attitude of neutrality - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm.

- I treat Minister Sikorski completely unseriously and therefore I would prefer that these two individuals not be compared [with President Nawrocki] - he continued.

- It is difficult to say whether one can have good relations with a government that is, as I have repeatedly said, an external government, pursuing not Polish interests, but German ones - he emphasized.

10:53

Kosiniak-Kamysz Responds to Hołownia:

It's a bit different than with rotational Speakers, it's not worth comparing.

- Mr. Speaker, esteemed chamber. The Speaker [Szymon Hołownia] spoke about summing up Deputy Prime Ministers [that two Deputy Prime Ministers equal one Prime Minister]. It's a bit different than with rotational Speakers, so it's not worth comparing - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in the Sejm.

- Ouch - replied the Speaker of the Sejm.

10:59

Kidawa-Błońska Asked About Rising State Debt:

We Will Definitely Have to Make Some Savings.

- The situation is very difficult, because we all know that times are unsettling and Poland must increase spending on defense, on armament. But at the same time, we cannot abandon what is important, the expenses for the normal functioning of our state - said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at a press briefing before the Senate session, when asked about the growing state debt and the possible reaction of the government.

- We need to find a golden mean here, but we will definitely have to make some savings. We will soon begin work on the budget, and then we will be able to say what it looks like, but no one will give up on spending on armament and defense, because now, at this moment, it is the most important thing - she continued.

- This whole program exists and no one intends to touch it. Certainly, what the Polish state has already achieved in supporting families is recognized as something that will continue to function. I am not talking about other, new things that may appear. What exists will not be taken away from anyone - she went on to say, when asked about social programs such as 800+.

11:00

"The Destruction of Community in Poland is a Strategy of the Russian Federation'. Kosiniak-Kamysz in the Sejm

- The demolition of these relations [with Ukraine] is a strategy of the Russian Federation. The destruction of community in Poland is a strategy of the Russian Federation. I know which side we stand on, our government, the majority in this chamber - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in the Sejm.

11:02

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

It's Good That Trump Clearly Showed Yesterday Who Is on the Good Side and Who Is on the Bad Side of the Force

- We have no doubts as to who is the perpetrator of this war, and it is good that President Trump very clearly and unequivocally showed yesterday who is on the good side and who is on the bad side of the force. That patience, those encouragements, that openness, which was a kind of strategy of President Trump, as it turns out, also has a limit with war, and it is becoming exhausted. This clear formulation is very much needed by Poland and Ukraine - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in the Sejm.

11:40

Kaczyński asked about a nationwide ban on alcohol sales at night:

I would support it.

- Currently, alcohol consumption is definitely too high, while the fight against drunkenness and alcoholism is always a contentious issue. But we must try various methods, because perhaps one of them will bring some clear, tangible results - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm.

- Very often, late at night, I am even somewhere on the streets of Warsaw, returning from somewhere, and I see people standing and waiting in places where alcohol can be bought. They are largely young people, often unfortunately women as well - he continued.

- Please remember that for a man to fall into alcoholism, as a disease, he must drink excessively for 20 years, while for a woman, it's only 2 years - he continued.

- I can say at this moment on my own behalf, because it's a party decision. I would support [a nationwide ban on alcohol sales at night] - added the PiS leader.

12:39

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

Americans want to use Polish communication systems, deeming them superior to current Patriot battery systems

- I am very pleased that this investment of PLN 2 billion 90 million, over 2 billion Polish zlotys, the contract is being concluded with a Polish defense company, within the Polish defense industry - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at the headquarters of Military Communications Works No. 1 S.A. in Zegrze Południowe.

- And what's more [...] that the best want to use these [communication] systems. Americans want to use them. They want to emulate, they are also learning from our experiences. They consider these systems to be better than the communication systems currently functioning within the Patriot battery structure, in the air defense system of the United States - he continued.

12:45

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

We are supplementing American purchases with Polish equipment. The government's strategy is 50/50

- It is very important for me that we not only buy equipment of the best quality, but that we also produce equipment of the best quality and promote it in the world - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at the headquarters of Wojskowe Zakłady Łączności Nr 1 S.A. in Zegrze Południowe.

- Mobile communication stations, the construction of which we are starting in the second phase of the Wisła program, 56 of these stations produced in Polish plants. This shows that we are supplementing American purchases with Polish equipment. This is our government's strategy, 50/50, 50% purchases abroad, 50% purchases in Poland - he continued.

12:49

Kosiniak-Kamysz Announces Meeting of Defense Ministers from Eastern EU States:

We Will Decide on the Anti-Drone Shield.

- This coming Friday, I will be participating in a meeting of defense ministers from the eastern flank of the European Union concerning anti-drone systems, systems to protect us from the danger of missiles and aircraft from adversaries, from the Russian Federation and its allies - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at the headquarters of Military Communications Works No. 1 S.A. in Zegrze Południowe.

- Together with my colleagues, the defense ministers of eastern European Union states, we will decide on the anti-drone shield, the anti-drone wall, but also countermeasures against other airborne threats endangering us - he continued.

13:50

Hołownia:

What Happened in the Warsaw City Council Regarding Nighttime Prohibition is Wrong. It Has Nothing to Do with Concern for the Common Good

- We [as Poland 2050] have put forward a bill – it's already in consultation – which introduces a complete ban on alcohol advertising. An exception was made for beer at one time, I don't understand why – and this bill abolishes that exception. It also grants local governments the right to more rigorously define the possibility of alcohol sales within their territory – said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference in the Sejm.

He stated: - I personally believe that what happened in the Warsaw local government in recent days is wrong. It is a bad decision. I don't know why it was made, but I believe it has nothing to do with concern for the common good, and hence the resignation of the Vice-Mayor of Warsaw from our party, Jacek Wiśnicki. Jacek behaved very well; he should have acted that way.

14:11

Hołownia Announces Procedural Progress:

There Will Be No Freezing of Presidential Bills.

- Presidential draft bills are being processed, in accordance with the custom that should prevail in this chamber. Tomorrow, we have the presidential draft bill on CPK on our agenda. Further bills are waiting. The bill concerning Ukraine, on aid to Ukrainians, has been supplemented by the Chancellery of the President and will now be processed in the normal way. There are other presidential laws […] in public consultations - said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference in the Sejm.

- There will be no freezing of presidential bills, just as there will be no freezing of citizen initiatives. In this Sejm, you have a citizen initiative that indicates there should be two compulsory hours of religious education or two compulsory hours of ethics classes in school - he added.

14:16

Hołownia Announces Visit to the USA

- I have a meeting shortly with the Head of the United States Mission in Poland, because as you know, we are still awaiting an ambassador. I will likely visit the United States next week, so this is also in preparation for that visit - said Szymon Hołownia at a press conference in the Sejm.

14:34

Hołownia Announces Poland 2050 National Council:

Crucial Decisions, Including Personnel Changes.

"I don't know" - Szymon Hołownia stated at a press conference in the Sejm when asked if Poland 2050 would still have its Deputy Mayor of Warsaw after Jacek Wiśnicki's resignation.

"We are on the eve of a very important event, the National Council. I invite you today for a press conference on Saturday, following the National Council. We will be making decisions there concerning many crucial matters related to the future of Poland 2050, including personnel changes" - he announced.

"For now, I believe Jacek Wiśnicki made a very good move, in line with our thoughts and what should happen. He acted honorably, I am very happy about that, I am proud of him" - he added.

17:58

Nawrocki on His Conversation with Trump:

The USA Stands with Poland.

- My meeting yesterday with Donald Trump concerned the President's speech, which garnered global public interest. I conveyed to President Trump that it was an excellent speech. President Trump also, of course, referred to the situation in Poland and Central Europe. He told me, and he has consistently done so since our first meeting and through subsequent phone calls, that the USA stands with Poland. I am very pleased with our deep, important, and values-based relationship between Poland and the USA. It was a very pleasant meeting - stated President Karol Nawrocki at a press briefing in New York.

17:58

Nawrocki:

Maintaining, or perhaps increasing, the US military contingent in Poland is good news for all of Central Europe

- You also witnessed our meeting at the White House, even then President Trump assured us that he was strongly on Poland's side. For us, this is naturally good news, and maintaining, or perhaps – I believe so – increasing the American military contingent in Poland, is good news for the entire Central European region, as confirmed by my fellow presidents from the Baltic states - said President Karol Nawrocki at a press briefing in New York.

18:14

Nawrocki on a Possible Meeting with Zelensky in Kyiv:

It's Natural.

- Of course, a meeting in Kyiv with President Zelensky during this active period of my diplomacy is possible - said President Karol Nawrocki at a press briefing in New York, when asked about the topic of his talks with Volodymyr Zelensky and whether a meeting in Kyiv is possible in the near future.

- I am now finishing the first month of meetings in Europe and around the world, but it is natural that I will meet with President Zelensky. We spoke briefly with President Zelensky; it was an exchange of pleasantries and a mutual understanding of the challenges we Poles face, as well as other countries in Central Europe, and what Ukraine is struggling with - he continued.

18:20

Nawrocki:

I Believe Putin Should Be Judged

- Yes, I believe Vladimir Putin should be judged, and at the same time, I agree with President Trump and his analysis of the situation in Europe itself. I say this as the president of a country that is a proud member and part of the EU, but as a president who publicly states that our political emotion in Poland and Central Europe is distant from that in Western Europe - stated President Karol Nawrocki at a press briefing in New York.

18:26

Despite Differences, We Can Represent Poland on the International Stage. Nawrocki on Relations with Sikorski

- Regarding my relationship with Minister Sikorski and our appearances, I want you all to be convinced that, of course, we have many differences. [...] In domestic politics, there is much that divides the President of Poland and the Polish government today, but our responsibility towards the state, supporting our candidates at the UN forum, is the policy of the Polish state - said President Karol Nawrocki at a press briefing in New York.

- I assure you that none of the presidents I have met at the UN view what is happening here through the prism of internal Polish politics. Moreover, bringing this level, this pro-state approach to fulfilling Poland's tasks on the UN agenda, is a common, pro-state duty of both the President of Poland and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and it should remain so and always be so - he continued.

- Despite our differences, we are able to represent Poland on the international stage. We leave our disputes for our internal discussions, but here we wanted Poland to speak, even if with different emotions [...] on the international stage, we wanted to represent Poland with dignity, and I think we should all be happy about that - he went on to say.

18:43

Morawiecki:

Judges Colluded with Civic Platform Decided to Blow Up Poland's Justice System

- On September 24th, judges colluded with Civic Platform decided to blow up Poland's justice system. We will not agree to this - wrote Mateusz Morawiecki on social media.

20:06

Cenckiewicz:

I'm Not an Enthusiast of the Past 8 Years of United Right Governance Regarding the So-Called Justice System Reform

- I respect [Zbigniew Ziobro], but I am not an enthusiast of what happened during the 8 years of United Right governance, particularly concerning the so-called reform of the judiciary or the justice system more broadly - stated Sławomir Cenckiewicz on Kanał Zero.

20:09

Cenckiewicz:

Perhaps only in 'Wyborcza' am I seen as a radical. I don't see myself that way at all

- Perhaps only in 'Wyborcza' am I seen as a radical. I don't see myself that way at all, and besides, you are essentially asking me what I think of myself. That's very difficult. I consider myself moderate, and I certainly don't consider myself a liar. Where, as the author of this text's wife says, I made a mistake, it was in good faith, but I am capable of admitting it if someone proves it to me - stated Sławomir Cenckiewicz on Kanal Zero.

20:13

Nighttime Prohibition? Szłapka: I believe this should be a matter for local government

- I believe that these are matters – I am expressing my personal opinion here, as there has been no government discussion on this subject [of limiting nighttime alcohol sales] – that local government in general is a very significant achievement of Polish democracy, and the more competencies local government has, the better. Therefore, I believe this should be a matter for local government – said Adam Szłapka in an interview with Grzegorz Kajdanowicz on TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach".

- I am not a spokesperson for the Council of the Capital City of Warsaw, but if I were a local government official, for example, in Poznań, which is where I am from, I would probably have made the same decision as the councillors of the city of Poznań – he added.

- As a general principle, I am in favour of the broadest possible scope of competencies for local government – he indicated.

What About Leszczyna's Project to Ban Alcohol Sales at Gas Stations? Szłapka: I Would Need to Talk to the Current Minister

- I would need to talk to the current Minister of Health - said Adam Szłapka on TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach" (Facts after Facts), when asked about the project announced by Izabela Leszczyna concerning the ban on alcohol sales at petrol stations.

- I would need to check with the Minister of Health whether such a project is current, is being developed. [...] I have to check, because I don't know the exact fate of this project - he continued.

Szłapka on the Government's and President's 'Unified Message':

It Strengthens Our International Position.

- Poland has one foreign policy, and I think the cooperation between the government and the president should be as good as possible. I believe these addresses [by Radosław Sikorski at the UN Security Council and Karol Nawrocki during the UN General Assembly] were also in correspondence - said Adam Szłapka in "Fakty po Faktach" on TVN24.

- It greatly strengthens our international position when we have a unified message. I think all serious political forces in Poland have no doubts that the Russian Federation and Vladimir Putin pose a threat to the entire Western world, including Poland, today - he continued.

Cenckiewicz on Braun:

I Don't Recognize the Man I Knew Years Ago.

- I don't recognize the man [Grzegorz Braun] whom I met years ago and with whom I made many films, or in many films I somehow participated, in many productions, let's say, cult films, about Jaruzelski, and not just me, but a whole series of outstanding people who participated in this - stated Sławomir Cenckiewicz on Kanał Zero.

Cenckiewicz on Tusk:

He is a Politician with a Pro-German Orientation, in Terms of Perceiving European Politics and Germany's Role.

- This is a politician [Donald Tusk] with a pro-German orientation, in the sense of perceiving European politics and Germany's role in Europe. Even this terrible reset, to which I dedicated several years of my life, is a reflection of his pro-German stance. Donald Tusk is not pro-Russian because, I don't know, he likes Russian culture, Russian food, or Vladimir Putin, although he tried to like him, I think, to trust him for sure, but because it was a function of pro-German policy, meaning simply Angela Merkel, but not only her; the German establishment, whether social democratic or Christian democratic, essentially adopted the same orientation, which is business with Russia, drawing Russia into a political sphere of influence, or co-organizing the security architecture, certainly European, if not global - stated Sławomir Cenckiewicz on Kanal Zero.

He Blocked Me. He Insults Me, But I Can't See It': Cenckiewicz on Sikorski

- Only he [Radosław Sikorski] has blocked me [on X], so I don't know what he writes about me. Tell me. Because he insults me, but I can't see it - stated Sławomir Cenckiewicz on Kanał Zero.

21:33

Cenckiewicz on Sikorski's Complex:

His Pro-Russian Policy from 2007-2013.

- Radosław Sikorski's complex is his pro-Russian policy from 2007-2013. This is a very serious complex - stated Sławomir Cenckiewicz on Kanal Zero.

21:41

Cenckiewicz on Klich:

He Earned It Not To Be Poland's Ambassador in Washington.

- I think that Minister, Director Klich earned it not to be Poland's ambassador in Washington. I don't know if you haven't said this, but it's completely banal and obvious. If someone with such an education still speaks of President Trump as a disturbed, sick person... - stated Sławomir Cenckiewicz on Kanał Zero.

Cenckiewicz:

Israel has the right to defend its independence, even to offensively attack Hamas enemies, but cannot use inhumane methods

- Israel has the right to defend its independence, territorial integrity, and certainly has the right to offensively attack its enemies from Hamas, but it does not have the right to use inhumane methods towards the civilian population. This is, of course, a great catastrophe, but it is also, it must be said, a Gordian knot that no one has been able to untangle for decades, and there is no clear way out of this situation. However, when confronted with state terrorism, which states like Iran have been perpetrating for years, for decades, I am on Israel's side, absolutely - stated Sławomir Cenckiewicz on TV Republika.
