"However, in that law [the so-called wind farm bill], which was vetoed, there are solutions that meet with my approval and the approval of the entire Chancellery – this is obviously the issue of freezing electricity prices, which I have been calling for since the beginning of 2025, even as a candidate for president," said President Karol Nawrocki in a statement to the media.

"So today I also signed a proposal that is literally taken from the law that was vetoed. We, in the Presidential Chancellery, did not change a single comma in the proposal to freeze electricity prices. The Polish Sejm is scheduled to convene on September 9th, the Polish Senate on September 24th, and from September 24th, I will be ready to sign the law on freezing electricity prices," he continued.
