- I am proud not only that my compatriots gave me the opportunity to continue my presidency for a second term, but also that for the first time in our history after '89, after my 10 years, they elected a candidate who was a candidate from the same political camp from which I come - said President Andrzej Duda in an interview for TV Republika.

- This shows, this is also for me an assessment of my presidency, this is also an assessment of what I presented over these 10 years, in what way I carried out this task, the voters, the people trust that Karol Nawrocki will carry out this task no worse than I did, and I wish him that Poland grows in strength, that he will be an excellent president, and that the voters will be satisfied with his service to Poland - he continued.
