Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on the Words of the NATO Commander in Europe:

The Goal Should Be to Maintain Peace, Not Set Dates for When War Will Begin.

- I think these are not words that should be formulated in this way. We all know how tense the international situation is, what huge threats there are, including especially for us, because we neighbor an aggressive totalitarian state, namely Russia [...] of course, we must prepare for any aggressive actions of very different kinds - said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in RMF FM, when asked about the words of NATO's Supreme Allied Commander Europe, Alexus Grynkewich, regarding a possible conflict with Russia and China in 2027.

- I have no idea where such a date comes from, usually it's not the case that we know. I think nobody knows that. Besides, the goal of our policy should be to maintain peace, not to set ourselves dates for when war will begin - she continued.
