Bosak:

I suspect a diversionary operation is underway in Poland
- It raises suspicions that a diversionary operation is underway in Poland; we warned about this, which is why in 2022 and 2023 we demanded the closure of the Polish labor market to Russians arriving under a simplified procedure. Previous diversionary operations, I only regret that we learned about them from Lithuanian services and Lithuanian media - stated Krzysztof Bosak on RMF FM.

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz:

The Government Needs a Vision, Action Plan, and Implementation. The Soap Opera of "Reconstruction" Won't Make People Live Better
- I have been writing about this practically since the elections, and we at Polska 2050 have all been saying it: this government needs a vision, an action plan, and implementation. And of course, changes to the government's structure, if it's a good plan presented, we are very constructively open to discussion - said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News' "Graffiti". - So far, nothing has been put on the table. We say: this needs to be done as soon as possible, because such a soap opera of reconstruction is not a method of governance at all. But let's remember that the structure of the government is a means to an end, not an end in itself. People do not live better because of the government's structure. They live better due to concrete changes - she pointed out. - We have very specific challenges and needs that Poland faces, we have also written about them, spoken about them many times, and they require very bold, innovative, and developmentally novel solutions - she continued.

Bosak on Controls at the Polish-German Border:

We Have a Cacophony from the Government.
- Currently, we have a cacophony from the government, because yesterday, in a conversation with me, Minister Porowska stated that these will be random checks, while Mr. Siemoniak is trying to create the impression that it will be a closure of the illegal migration route – stated Krzysztof Bosak on RMF FM.

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Poland 2050's Ready-Made Solutions:

For God's Sake, Let's Sit Down and Let Someone Listen to Us.
- I'm putting forward the thesis that we need modern, courageous, unconventional development solutions, and we shouldn't be afraid of them. We need to, and must, address real problems – that's what Poland 2050 is doing within its capabilities – rather than seeking out fictional ones to distract attention, because the real problems exist – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in Polsat News's "Graffiti." - This is a war next door, a demographic crisis, and finally, a very serious need to give our private entrepreneurship a development and innovation boost, a kick in the best, positive sense, and with respect for support – she continued. - This requires specific systemic actions from the state. We know all of this; we have it mapped out in Poland 2050. We know what we want to do and we are also ready to propose all of it to the government. But for God's sake, let's finally sit down and let someone listen to us – she emphasized.

Bosak:

I Don't Rule Out Going to the Border if the Scandal Continues
- I don't rule out that if this whole scandal doesn't end, I will go to the border and observe what is happening, I will check how the police, the Military Police sent to the border, the Border Guard, and I am also sure that ABW (Internal Security Agency) officers are there, I will check how they treat citizens who are monitoring the situation at the border – stated Krzysztof Bosak on RMF FM.

08:36

Bosak:

I Haven't Been Offered a Position in the Presidential Chancellery
- I haven't been offered a position in the Presidential Chancellery. I saw that yesterday one of the portals, I think it was WP, published such information. It is untrue. I'm talking about myself being offered, or considering resigning from my parliamentary work - stated Krzysztof Bosak on RMF FM.

08:38

Bosak on Cenckiewicz:

He could be a very good head of BBN.
- In my opinion, [Sławomir Cenckiewicz] could be a very good head of the National Security Bureau (BBN), however, one should judge by actions, not by announcements. He certainly has a great deal of experience, I will say positive things regarding defense and special services, because he worked in the committees responsible for these matters - stated Krzysztof Bosak on RMF FM.

08:49

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz:

To Have Effectiveness, You Need Instruments – Ministries, the Deputy Prime Minister Position
- We have a coalition government, and a coalition government requires conversation and dialogue. Polska 2050 is truly a party of dialogue, meaning we are ready to sit down and establish a good solution, where one must compromise for the common good - said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in the "Graffiti" program on Polsat News. - But also – and we say this clearly – if you, Mr. Editor, ask about effectiveness, voters ask about effectiveness – yes, we are not shying away from effectiveness. But to have effectiveness, you need the instruments for it. If you don't have ministries, if you don't have a Deputy Prime Minister, you don't have effectiveness - she pointed out. - A Deputy Prime Minister can do more than a minister. As a minister, I always say what I have done, and I absolutely do not shy away from it. How the KPO is managed, how these things have moved forward significantly. I'm talking about the Critical Technology Support Fund, an absolute innovation - she added.

The Left Proposes a Housing Ministry. Pełczyńska-Nałęcz Critically: Creating Positions for Themselves, Not Solutions for People
- Creating new ministries as a solution to problems is a complete miss. Because it is indeed about creating positions for yourselves, not creating solutions for people – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in Polsat News's 'Graffiti', referring to the Left's idea of establishing a housing ministry. - What have I done regarding housing issues? I am dealing with housing because regional policy also encompasses housing. I believe that combining housing and regional policy is absolutely natural. Firstly, there is no zero-percent credit, and housing prices are lower. […] Secondly, I am constantly fighting for real social construction. […] Transparency in housing prices – listed the minister representing Poland 2050.

09:08

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on relations with Tusk:

I strive to cooperate to the best of my ability.
- I don't recall such a situation [as the friction between me and Prime Minister Donald Tusk at one of the recent government meetings]. I strive to cooperate to the best of my ability - said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in “Graffiti” Polsat News. - I respect the hierarchy; there is a Prime Minister, he is the head of this government. But at the same time, we are coalition partners. As a coalition partner, we bring our DNA, our vision, and our developmental will to this government and coalition. We say clearly: we need to move forward, we need concrete actions, we need much more bold development - she continued. - I don't see any need for subtle jabs or digs; there's no need to communicate in that way - she added.

09:16

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz:

Those supporting former PZPR bosses inciting a coup should reflect on what democracy means
- This scandalous approach some people are taking towards these elections, which I find absolutely incomprehensible. Yes, we have a dubious, not entirely legal Supreme Court today, especially that Chamber [of Extraordinary Review]. It's a terrible legacy of PiS. But that's what we have, we don't have another one - said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on Polsat News's "Graffiti". - All previous elections, the 2023 elections, we recognized and acknowledged the role of this chamber. And suddenly, around these elections, which aren't what some would want them to be - I also voted for Rafał Trzaskowski and Szymon Hołownia unequivocally supported him and voted - but today he is a patriot, a statesman. […] He is taking responsibility for democracy in Poland to adhere to its principles - she continued. - All those who support former PZPR bosses inciting a coup: really, people, think about what democracy entails. Democracy means respecting people's choices - emphasized the Minister of Funds and Regional Policy. This is how Pełczyńska-Nałęcz commented on her yesterday's post addressed to Leszek Miller:

Ukraine Urgently Needs Air Defense Systems. Sikorski on Damage to the Polish Embassy Building in Kyiv
- In a massive racist attack on Kyiv, the building of the consular department of our embassy suffered damage - Radosław Sikorski wrote on social media. - I have just spoken with Ambassador Łukasiewicz; everyone is safe and sound. Ukraine urgently needs air defense systems - emphasized the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Szłapka Announces Government Financial Aid for Fire Victims in Ząbki
- A meeting of Prime Minister Tusk, attended by the Head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, the Head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, the Deputy Coordinator of Special Services, and representatives of the Fire Brigade, Police, and ABW, has just concluded. The Prime Minister received a report on the situation concerning fires, and relevant services will conduct their investigations into these matters. We are, of course, referring to the fire in Ząbki, but also to incidents that occurred in Warsaw in recent days - stated Adam Szłapka at a press briefing. - The most serious in terms of scale is the fire in Ząbki. It is a significant disaster that far exceeds the capabilities of a single municipality. Therefore, a decision has been made to launch special measures. We assure that everyone who has been affected by this fire will receive assistance and will not be left without support - he continued.

13:29

Szłapka on the Coalition Meeting:

The Prime Minister Will Personally Announce All Outcomes.
- Coalition leaders are meeting. Such a meeting, as you know, is taking place today. The Prime Minister himself will personally inform you about all the outcomes of these meetings. This is how [it began] – stated Adam Szłapka at a press briefing.

Motion Filed to Lift Macierewicz's Immunity
- Prosecutor General Adam Bodnar today submitted to the Marshal of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, Szymon Hołownia, a motion for the Sejm of the Republic of Poland to consent to the prosecution of MP Antoni Macierewicz for criminal liability - the National Prosecutor's Office announced.

PiS Calls for European Commission President's Dismissal: "Any MEP Voting for von der Leyen Votes Against Poland's Interests"
- We have filed a motion to dismiss the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and we would like to briefly outline the most important reasons why this Commission should immediately cease its activities - said Patryk Jaki at a press conference. Jaki: Germany is Doing What Poland Was Sanctioned For - What is currently happening at the border with Germany. I would like to remind you that Germany, in addition to applying so-called pushbacks [...], is invoking Regulation Dublin 3. [...] Germany applies the criterion of the country of first entry, therefore they are returning migrants to Poland, claiming that Poland was the country of first entry, but they are not providing sufficient evidence for this - and even the Border Guard confirms this - said the PiS MEP. - I want to remind you that according to this regulation, Germany is obliged to present evidence for this, and Poles do not have to accept them immediately, but have 2 months to consider these requests. So, why is this actually happening? - he pointed out. - Since sanctions were applied against Poland for so-called pushbacks, which were justified because they were entirely outside the EU border, [...] and here we have the Schengen border, then isn't it high time to apply the same to Germany? Block European funds for Germany. Is there no equality among all member states? - he asked. - What Germany, together with Ursula von der Leyen, Tusk's party, and the PSL, are doing now is incredible. For the umpteenth time, what Germany does, we observe it every day, Poles could not do it, and for that, sanctions were imposed on Poles - stated Jaki. Bocheński: Anyone Who Votes to Keep Ursula von der Leyen in Her Position... Tobiasz Bocheński continued by listing: - Mercosur, which will destroy Polish agriculture. Climate ideology, which in the form of the Green Deal, which has not been reversed at all, but is being slightly, cosmetically changed, will affect every Polish entrepreneur, every Polish family, imposing unbelievable costs that will likely lead to economic collapse. - Unfair, unreliable, secret negotiation of trade agreements with Ukraine, which directly harm Polish farmers. [...] Applying double standards: Germany is allowed something, Poles are not. Immigration, which the EU is unable to control at all. [...] Unbelievable bureaucracy that stifles the spirit of entrepreneurship from Lisbon to Helsinki. We are losing competition with the USA and China - he continued. - What Ursula von der Leyen cares about is her own base, Germany's interests, and grabbing as much power as possible from the Member States to the European Commission. [...] We are telling all our compatriots: every MEP who raises their hand to keep Ursula von der Leyen in her position is voting against Poland's interests and will harm Poland - he emphasized.

Duda at the Belarusian Border:

Thank You for the Heroic Defense Not Only of Our Security but Also of the EU's Borders.
- I am very grateful for these four years of service on the section of the Republic of Poland's eastern border, where we border Belarus. […] I thank all Border Guard officers, soldiers, and Police officers for their support and the incredibly heroic defense not only of our border, our security, our countrymen, fellow citizens, but also for the defense of the EU and Schengen Area borders. For showing that we Poles take our duties within the European community seriously - said President Andrzej Duda during a gathering of soldiers and officers serving on the Polish-Belarusian border.

17:21

Duda to Soldiers:

I Want to Apologize to You Once Again for Any Offense.
- I want to apologize to you once again, as the President of the Republic of Poland, expressing my highest respect for you, for any offense you have suffered from various of our compatriots, some irresponsible, and some simply rude and vulgar, who dared to humiliate soldiers and officers, who dared to humiliate soldiers and officers, who dared to tarnish the Polish uniform, to try to tarnish your honor - stated President Andrzej Duda during a gathering of soldiers and officers serving on the Polish-Belarusian border. - I want to assure you that no one can tarnish the true soldier's and officer's honor if they are performing their duties for Poland, for which they have taken a military or service oath - he continued. - I also want to tell you that everyone honest in the Republic of Poland has always been with you and stood as a wall behind the Polish uniform - added PAD.

17:25

Duda Remembers Sergeant Sitek:

The First Soldier to Fall Defending the Border Since WWII.
- I thank you for this incredibly sacrificial service. A service which, unfortunately, has not been without its casualties. I am thinking not only of those soldiers and officers who, to varying degrees, were wounded and harmed in the line of duty, but above all of the soldier, Sergeant Sitek, who died while carrying out his duties as a soldier defending the border of the Republic of Poland, being the first soldier to fall, to perish in defense of the Republic of Poland’s border since World War II - said President Andrzej Duda during a gathering of soldiers and officers serving on the Polish-Belarusian border.

Hołownia Responds to Media Reports:

I Firmly Believe Politicians from Various Camps Should Talk to Each Other.
“The heightened excitement surrounding my meeting yesterday is neither justified nor advisable,” Szymon Hołownia wrote on social media. “I am one of the few politicians in Poland who – and I emphasize this – regularly meets with representatives of both fatally divided camps. I firmly believe that, especially in these times, politicians from various options should talk to each other, otherwise, we will kill each other. I consider this the norm, not a deviation from it, and I will continue to act this way as the Marshal of the Sejm. That is why I regularly meet and converse (as I did today, a very productive 4-hour meeting) with the leaders of the Coalition. Occasionally – also with the opposition. In recent months, I have spoken with Jarosław Kaczyński, Mariusz Błaszczak, Marek Suski, Adam Bielan, Michał Wójcik, and many other PiS politicians. Sometimes the topic of conversation is a bill important to the opposition, sometimes it’s an exchange of information about the current situation, for example, in the context of relations with the USA. This was the case this time too. And the time? It’s not unusual for my workday to end around midnight. Yesterday, I landed in Warsaw at 9:30 PM after a day filled with Marshal duties in Gdańsk and Grudziądz, and this was my only available slot for a meeting and conversation that day. End of explanation.

Bielan:

SOP is occupied with passing information to friendly journalists
- I can only express my regret that standards in Poland have fallen so low. During the campaign, we saw and observed secret documents from special services concerning requests for access to classified information being leaked. This has not happened before. Now, the SOP, which should protect the most important people in the state, is engaged in observing them and passing information to friendly journalists. This is a downfall of standards; I have never encountered anything like it before - stated Adam Bielan on TV Republika.
