At 11:30 AM, a press conference will be held in the Sejm by PiS parliamentary club members Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk and Zbigniew Kuźmiuk.

The government will convene at 12:00 PM. The agenda primarily includes the "concept of legal solutions for the implementation of strategic and key investments in the state's defense needs.".

The government will also address a draft amendment to certain laws aimed at deregulating economic and administrative law, and improving the principles of economic law drafting, as well as an amendment to the resolution establishing a multi-year program titled the National Program for Cardiovascular Diseases for the years 2022–2032.

At 12:00 PM in Pyrzyce, Civic Coalition candidate for president and Mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, will meet with village heads, rural women's circles, and residents. At 5:00 PM in Gorzów Wielkopolski, an open meeting will take place.

And as I saw that exchange of tweets between Minister Sikorski and numerous politicians in the US right now, I know that Sikorski achieved his success, meaning he received a guarantee that Starlinks will be for Ukraine – stated Barbara Nowacka in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News's "Graffiti".

– Often, all these large corporations, especially those that influence the lives and safety of children, should look at this very seriously. The access of young people to various applications and online services is completely unrestricted, and it would be worthwhile, in the context of this discussion [about the digital tax] about who to tax, to talk about the types of services that are being delivered. This is a very serious conversation – stated Barbara Nowacka on Polsat News’s “Graffiti.”

– The Security and Defence Fund is being planned and will be implemented with very close cooperation, taking into account the absolute initiatives of the Ministry of National Defence and the Ministry of Interior. These funds will be allocated to investments in dual-use applications. For local governments, these are shelters, but we also hope they will include roads. This is a financial contribution to private and public defence companies producing armaments. We want to anchor these funds in such a way that they remain in Poland, meaning not for purchases abroad, but for building production and defence capabilities in Poland, as well as investments in Poland – stated Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in the program "Guest of the Morning" on TVP Info.

– This year, it will certainly be possible to access these funds – she added.

– I think PiS is in great trouble here. We are ready for any scenario [in the second round]. Rafał Trzaskowski is a truly competent man for these dangerous times, as he has extensive international contacts, a great ability for diplomatic action, good relations with Democrats and Republicans in the USA, and vast experience in the EU – stated Barbara Nowacka on Polsat News's “Graffiti”.

– I believe that a digital tax is a good solution, but this is not a good time to come out with such declarations, because we are exacerbating [Polish-American] relations when we don't have to – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on TVP Info.

– Today it looks like the United States is rather heading towards achieving a ceasefire. It can be called peace, but it's light-years away from lasting peace. They are heading towards a cessation of hostilities, and the terms of this ceasefire are critically important for Ukraine – stated Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on TVP Info.

– If it's the case that both sides simply stop shooting, then that's obviously okay. If it's the case that the Ukrainians have to declare that they will disarm, withdraw their troops a certain number of kilometers from the front line, which is known how it will end. If they commit to some demilitarization, all of this would mean subjugation of Ukrainian sovereignty and independence – she continued.

– The response was, it was polite but assertive, and that's how it should have been. However, I don't think there's any reason to engage in further escalation of this kind. Such behavior, unfortunately on Elon Musk's part, rather shows a lack of seriousness on his part. The seriousness of the Polish state has been clearly articulated here, and I believe everyone identifies with this defense of our assertive and dignified stance – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on TVP Info.

– Dear Americans, dear Ukrainians, do not waste this chance. The whole world is watching you today in Jeddah. Good luck! – wrote Prime Minister Donald Tusk on the X portal.

– We are not worried about that. What is important to us is the general sentiment of Poles towards the right-wing and the government, because it is known that Trzaskowski is Tusk's deputy and it will be a vote for Trzaskowski or against Trzaskowski, which means for Tusk or against Tusk. Of course, we see what is happening behind our backs, and in fact, according to this one poll, on par with us – stated Przemysław Czarnek in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

– Our polls are different, but that's a separate matter. I don't question the methodology. Our polls show us maintaining a lead of a few percentage points over Sławomir Mentzen, and a deficit of a few percentage points to Trzaskowski. The fact that this poll turned out this way now is certainly an element that is taken into account by us and was considered at yesterday's election staff meeting – stated Przemysław Czarnek on Radio Plus.

– Tomorrow, we are embarking on politically important missions for Poland. Prime Minister [Kosiniak-Kamysz] is going to Paris for a meeting of defense ministers from the largest European countries, and I am going to Turkey for a meeting with President Erdogan. Security, peace in the region, and the Russo-Ukrainian war are the topics we will be discussing with our partners – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a government session.

– I am constantly consulting with the Minister of Defence on the program for universal, voluntary military training, which I mentioned in the Sejm. This voluntary military training should be as widely available as possible, and this is a task on which we must focus as the Ministry of National Defence, as the army, as the government. There is no shortage of those willing to serve the homeland in situations requiring it. We must significantly increase the state's capacity so that every interested person, man or woman, interested in military training can participate in such training – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a government session.

[…] Local government officials build local communities and are that level of politician who are best known to you, because they walk the streets of your cities, towns, and villages, and you can always ask them something, you can always share your concerns with them – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Pyrzyce.

– And most importantly, it's much easier to hold them accountable, because a true local government official will always find time for you and can always be found in the place for which they are responsible. I also walk the streets of my city, and very often in the metro or on the street, you can simply ask me questions, and either praise me for something or scold me for something. And there is nothing better, and nothing puts you more in line, than citizens who have contact with their stewards – he continued.

And I am referring only to basic training, but further training will naturally be supplemented with specialized training, which will be conducted differently, also related to the interests and skills of the individual –

– We want by 2027, no, we don't want, we will achieve the capability to train 100,000 volunteers per year. And I am convinced there will be no shortage of willing individuals, but our task is to ensure that everyone interested will be able to undergo this training – he continued.

– Beyond the professional army and the Territorial Defence Force (WOT), we must build a de facto army of reservists, and our actions will serve this purpose. Secondly, we want to utilize the potential residing in our veterans. To ensure the word 'veteran' is not associated with retirement age, we are constantly talking about excellent soldiers who have finished their service, for example, from GROM or commandos from Lubliniec. We will leverage their knowledge and skills by creating what we are provisionally calling a 'second mission' center, where they will be invaluable in training – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a government session.

– You can count on one thing, ladies and gentlemen – that if you trust me and if I were to become the President of the Republic of Poland, then there will definitely be full support from the Presidential Palace for all our local government officials, village heads [male], and village heads [female]. This is because I am absolutely convinced that the closer power is to the citizens, the better – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Pyrzyce.

– By the end of March, I believe, we will have the Ministry of National Defence's proposals ready for the government on how the model to increase training numbers to 100,000 by 2027 will function – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a government session.

– It doesn’t matter if someone is from a big city or a smaller town; in the end, as local government officials, we very often discuss the exact same issues – public services, in fact: public transport, waste management, the greening of our cities and towns – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Pyrzyce.

– I guarantee you that as a local government official through and through, I will certainly fight for everyone, regardless of whether they are from Szczecin, Pyrzyce, or another locality, larger or smaller, to have the chance for exactly the same public services at the highest possible level. So that every city and town can develop, that is what we will fight for – he stated.

– It is an important task, and I appeal to all of you, and indeed to all participants in political life in Poland, that we be able to reconcile two paramount needs today from the perspective of the interests of the Polish state and the security of the Polish state. Firstly, we are an independent state and a state that makes decisions regarding, for example, internal matters independently – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a government session.

– Dignity is an essential part of every person's life, and especially of every state. Therefore, to all those who care about the dignity of the Polish state, including in international relations, I wanted to express my sincere thanks, and I also wanted to draw everyone's attention to the fact that while guarding the dignity of the Polish state and our national interests, we should simultaneously always be guided by common sense and moderation, and not seek conflicts in the international arena. There are already enough of them, and not through our fault – the Prime Minister continued.

– Poland is truly an exemplary ally here in many dimensions. It is worth emphasizing this and worth continuously leveraging this extremely positive reputation of the Polish state in the eyes of all allies, both European and across the Atlantic. I believe in your talent and in your intelligence and sense of timing, in what needs to be done, and how, but I am very proud of my homeland, of the Polish state, and of all of you who are striving to serve the homeland as best as possible in these difficult times – he concluded.

– When I look at the attacks by my competitors on the government today, at every possible opportunity – I understand, there is an election campaign, but at least on security matters, this should not happen – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Pyrzyce.

– I am deeply convinced that today we need a President of the Republic of Poland who will cooperate with the government on matters of security and defense […]. That they will strive to strengthen foreign policy, that they will take care of contacts with the most important world leaders, and that they will act constructively – he continued.

– I certainly don't intend to lock myself in the Palace, but rather to be among the people. [...] I promise you that one can only conduct an active presidency by putting forward proposals and also by being among the people – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Pyrzyce.

– I don't believe that an election campaign should be solely about constantly stirring up emotions. Anyone can do that. Do you think I can't write a tweet that would stir up emotions, that I can't pick on someone so that it really hits home? I can, but to what end? Don't we have enough divisions already? – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Pyrzyce.

– I have just informed the ministers that members of the government and their officials will also undergo training. Voluntary. This was accepted with full understanding – Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced on X.

– But you won't do that! You are holding onto them because you want to use them for negotiations about a future reset with Russia. That's why you keep attacking America, provoking it to leave Europe, while you lack adequate military capabilities! – said the PiS MEP.

– Your behavior will lead to the EU countries bordering Russia being in great danger – he added.

– Paradoxically, President Duda says exactly the same thing about security matters as Prime Minister Tusk. I am not a supporter of President Duda's presidency, but on these issues, President Duda behaved as he should have, because he truly guarded Poland's national interest and clearly spoke about strengthening NATO and Ukraine's European aspirations. Furthermore, he also persuaded our American friends that we cannot allow Putin to win this war – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Gorzów Wielkopolski.

– The problem today is that, unfortunately, another PiS candidate says something completely different. The paradox is that today, President Duda, compared to the PiS candidate, appears as a sensible man who cares about national interest in foreign policy – he stated.

– Today is not a time for incitement, for building negative emotions. It is not a time for emotions at all. I think that when we all watched what was happening in the White House, we felt certain emotions. But generally speaking, emotions need to be reined in today – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Gorzów Wielkopolski.

As he indicated: – We need a president who will not stir up emotions, but who will have a plan. Who will know what to do.

– We have so many conflicts, we are so divided on various matters, that at least on the issue of security, these divisions should no longer exist. Can you imagine a conflict between the president and the prime minister in such difficult times? – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Gorzów Wielkopolski.

– I promise you one thing: that on matters of security, the most important ones, on matters concerning foreign policy, should I become the President of the Republic of Poland, there will be no conflict. There will be cooperation. And that is what we need today – he emphasized.

– We need a president who is experienced, who can keep their tongue behind their teeth, and who won't display hussar fantasia at every step, because that's not what it's about. Today, it's about predictability. Today, predictability is at a premium. At a time when the world is becoming less predictable, we need responsibility and predictability – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Gorzów Wielkopolski.

– When I hear my political rivals, […] one of them says there should be no taxes at all. We would all want taxes to be low. Let's just think about where we would get the money to strengthen our army, to buy equipment, to secure our border, if there were no taxes? Let's not fall for such simple messages – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Gorzów Wielkopolski.

As he emphasized: – Of course, taxes should be transparent. Of course, there should be no tax increases, but let's not pretend today that today is the moment to drastically cut taxes.

– We cannot allow for each of us to be left alone and have to produce our own weapons or sharpen our scythes. That is why we have a state, to have a strong army and a strong border – he added.

– Responsibility and influence require us to pressure our European partners to take security seriously into their own hands. This is a strange situation, to say the least, if not scandalous. You will agree that some European countries, including our western neighbor, spend significantly less money on security, in relation to their wealth, than Poland – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Gorzów Wielkopolski.

– Strengthening Europe must go hand in hand with our goal of strengthening the alliance with the United States. Because only then will we be safe. We cannot put all our eggs in one basket […]. That is why today we need a president who can build relationships as partners, has experience, and knows how to do it – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Gorzów Wielkopolski.

– There was a moment when I met with President Macron. […] I was talking with President Macron, my competitor was doing push-ups. And when he stopped doing push-ups, he started mocking me for speaking French. I looked at it and wondered: what is he really after? Young people don't understand this, because for them it's completely natural to speak foreign languages – he stated.

– There was a question for him [Karol Nawrocki] about how he imagines ending this conflict. And he says, he said in an interview: “Trump, Putin, Zelensky, and I would be sitting there.” And everyone is asking: “Well, Mr. Karol, what about Germany and France…?” “Germany, France, no, I wouldn't agree, they are bad countries.” Okay, fine, but who will believe that? – said Rafał Trzaskowski in Gorzów Wielkopolski.

– If it were really to be the case that the President of Poland would be sitting there, representing the entire EU – great. Only this is exactly how the competitor understands foreign policy. He has no clue about it at all – he stated.

– He talks about how he would be strong. Because he thinks so, because that's what they told him at the gym. […] He himself said he invested very heavily in international relations. But looking at what he knows about them, it doesn't bode well at all – he added.

– This is good news for Poland, this is good news for our part of Europe. We want the conflict in Ukraine to be resolved, and I think this shows how important it is today to conduct foreign policy prudently, primarily with our most important ally, the USA, because the NATO alliance, which provides us with security, is primarily based on the USA as well, and it is extremely important today that Polish diplomacy pursues a prudent foreign policy. It is evident that the USA is eager for peace to be established in Ukraine – stated Paweł Szefernaker in a conversation with Bogdan Rymanowski on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events).

The US Department of State announced the immediate resumption of military and intelligence support for Ukraine. As reported after talks in Saudi Arabia, Ukraine expressed its readiness to implement a proposal for an immediate 30-day ceasefire.

– I believe we must have Polish interests, represent Polish interests, and the Polish government must also act in the interest of Poland. We should not look at how the relationship of one or another state, like Ukraine with the US, looks, but rather see Poland's interest. This is the most important thing, Karol Nawrocki also talks about this numerous times in his speeches. We simply have a different role. The more the United States is involved there in the economic process, the safer it will be for Ukraine – he continued.

– Europe has awakened, it’s not waking up, it has awakened. From 1.5 billion euros that were previously allocated to the defense industry, there will be 800 billion, and Poland has made the first move, converting 30 billion zlotys from the KPO into the Security and Defense Fund – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on TVN24.

– Things are getting better day by day, but the process of transforming the state-controlled and private arms industry must accelerate. This is our absolute priority. Unfortunately, despite the outbreak of war in Ukraine, ammunition factories have not been established in Poland. If we hadn't come to power, I fear they wouldn't have been created at all today – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on TVN24.
