Hołownia Writes to Glapiński: Calls for Interest Rate Cuts

Szymon Hołownia has addressed NBP President Adam Glapiński with a request to lower interest rates. He published a photo of the letter he wrote as Marshal of the Sejm on his social media.

"Considering the situation of participants in economic life, particularly Polish borrowers bearing high costs of loan repayments, I am addressing Mr. President, as the chairman of the Monetary Policy Council, with a request to consider lowering the interest rates of the National Bank of Poland" – he began his letter.

As Hołownia writes: "In Europe, a clear trend towards easing monetary policy by central banks can be observed. For example, in the Czech Republic, interest rates have been set at levels similar to the beginning of 2022, i.e., at the lowest level in the last three years. Meanwhile, in Poland, interest rates are still 3 percentage points above the level from the beginning of 2022. The macroeconomic and international context provides evidence that a debate about easing restrictive monetary policy is also necessary in our country."

"I have no doubt that, in fulfilling its constitutional duties, the NBP is guided by data flowing from the economy, which is a result of supply and demand. I am convinced that the outlined trend in the region constitutes a significant argument during the Monetary Policy Council's deliberations on the level of interest rates in Poland" – it reads.

"I deeply believe that a cut in interest rates is an important stimulus for the entire Polish economy, as it can create space for investments, new jobs, and increased demand. For this reason, I hope that the National Bank of Poland, and particularly the Monetary Policy Council, takes into account the pace of economic recovery and the cost of living currently borne by the citizens of the Republic of Poland in its decisions" – the Marshal of the Sejm concludes.

Morawiecki and Envelope Elections. Jaki: Had He Not Done It, He Would Now Be Accused of Negligence

– There is a hierarchy of legal acts in Poland, there is also the Constitution, and the deadline for organizing the elections was approaching. The Prime Minister [Morawiecki] had no other choice; had he not done it, he would now be accused of negligence – said Patryk Jaki in the "Morning Interview" on RMF FM, referring to the issue of envelope elections.

– Elections must take place by then, so the Prime Minister had an obligation – he continued.

08:39

Jaki:

We introduced random assignment of judges from all judges, and Bodnar excluded those he doesn't want

– Half of the judges in the courts have been removed from adjudicating, in criminal courts in Warsaw and in the appellate court, those who are politically undesirable, and the judging panels are being set up. […] We introduced a system of random assignment of judges from all judges, and Bodnar has… simply excluded judges he doesn't want – said Patryk Jaki in RMF FM.

08:39

Bosak:

It's Unprecedented That a State Tolerating Genocide Denial is Accepted in the Western World

Germany has condemned Hitler, the Third Reich, and the Holocaust, while Ukrainians clearly have a problem condemning the genocide of Poles. What's more, they glorify the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, which not only murdered Poles but also participated in the Holocaust. It is unprecedented that in the Western world today, a state that does not condemn perpetrators of genocide against other nations is accepted – stated Krzysztof Bosak on the program "Gość Poranka" (Guest of the Morning) on TVP Info.

08:39

Says Bosak on US-Ukraine Raw Materials Agreement:

More of a Political Deal Than Legally Significant,

I don't think there's any form of guarantee there. I think it's more something President Trump will have to show his voters to demonstrate: here you go, I'm making these quick deals. I am so effective, efficient, this sleepy Joe Biden was wasting our resources for nothing, and I have secured natural resources here. In reality, I think the pace at which this agreement was negotiated indicates that it will be more of a political agreement than one with any specific legal significance – said Krzysztof Bosak on TVP Info.

08:44

Bosak:

Ending the War in Ukraine is a Process That Could Take Months, Years

President Trump has always liked sharp, clear statements, whereas the actions of his previous administration, all of his people, were much more, I would say, balanced than his declarations. It seems to me that a large part of his declarations can be treated as part of a negotiation strategy and an attempt to seduce American public opinion, to show that he is the sheriff, the tough negotiator, the businessman in the White House – stated Krzysztof Bosak on TVP Info.

However, of course, ending the war in Ukraine, any potential peace process, all of this can always be stretched out over months or even years. Everyone is perfectly aware of this – he added.

08:44

Bosak:

Ukraine's NATO Membership Was Not on the Table, It's Not in Washington's Interest

If American elites, both Democratic and Republican, have perceived for over a decade that something is not in their interest, and there is a rare consensus between Democrats and Republicans on this matter, then that will not change just because Mr. Zelensky visits Washington. Therefore, NATO membership [for Ukraine] was not on the table, and saying it's not on the table changes nothing. Anyone well-versed in the world of diplomacy and defense policy knows this – Krzysztof Bosak said on TVP Info.

Similarly, the regaining of territories lost by Ukraine was also not on the table, because it would require sending an army there to push back the Russian front. Nobody in Europe or the United States is ready to send their troops – he continued.

08:45

Bosak:

Ukrainians Who Don't Even Live in Poland Have Access to Our Healthcare System

What the politicians of PiS, PO, the Left, PSL, and Poland 2050 have done wrong is they've put two nations on the sustenance of one state. In the Sejm, we have our bill to remove this undeserved privilege for all individuals with Ukrainian passports, including Russians, including Georgians, various others, who have access to all drug reimbursements, even the most expensive therapies. To all kinds of healthcare benefits in Poland, without paying a single health contribution here – stated Krzysztof Bosak on TVP Info.

I'm not talking about those who work, but Ukrainians who don't even live in Poland have access to our healthcare system – he added.

08:46

Obajtek:

An Economy and State are Healthy When They Have Sound Right-Wing Principles in Worldview and Business

– What they [the European Union] want to do is leftist ideology. [...] Leftist ideologies, a leftist worldview, leftist ideologies in the economy have never worked. It has always threatened catastrophe – said Daniel Obajtek in an interview with Krzysztof Skowroński on Radio Wnet's Morning Show.

– A business, an economy, and a state are healthy when they have sound right-wing principles in their worldview and also in business – he stated.

08:48

Who Will Lead the Right After Kaczyński? Jaki: Czarnek Has the Right Qualities, Duda and Morawiecki Less So

– I would like it to be a person who is close to true right-wing values, who will not give in, who will not turn Polish right-wing into CDU/CSU – said Patryk Jaki on RMF FM, answering a question about whom he sees as the leader of the right after Jarosław Kaczyński retires.

– He is certainly a person ideologically close to me. I think he has qualities that predispose him to strive for it – he continued, when asked about Przemysław Czarnek.

– Less so. I think there will still be time to summarize this presidency […] he himself also does not express a desire to be a candidate in the future on the right – he continued, when asked about Andrzej Duda.

– I also think less so, although he is undoubtedly a person who has his merits – he added, when asked about Mateusz Morawiecki.

– More so – he replied, when asked about Zbigniew Ziobro.

08:50

Kierwiński on Flood Victims:

Trzaskowski Was With Those People.

Rafał Trzaskowski does not need to prove himself in this way, in the sense that he doesn't need to be, to show, like Mr. Nawrocki, for half an hour and talk about how hard he helped. Rafał Trzaskowski was with those people, he helped those people. I say 'was' in the sense of providing help when they truly needed it, and praise to him for that, because Warsaw, as a large local government, had such capabilities, but it also had a president who genuinely wanted to help, and after all, this is what solidarity is about – stated Marcin Kierwiński on PR3.

08:51

Kierwiński on Morawiecki:

He knows everything he says will work against him

I think the matter is obvious. He [Mateusz Morawiecki] knows that everything he says will work against him. This matter is obvious to the extent that everyone knew at the stage of preparing the postal elections that the law, the Polish Constitution, was being broken, that Mateusz Morawiecki was actually manually controlling this process in a way that constituted a crime – stated Marcin Kierwiński in PR3.

08:52

Jaki:

I Have Some Grievances with President Duda

– I have certain, let's say, grievances with the President [...] I can give one specific example, there are really many such instances. Namely, the President twice received a bill on my desk calling for the expulsion of gender ideologists from schools – said Patryk Jaki on RMF FM.

– I disagree with that argumentation. [...] I wouldn't hesitate for a second [to sign such a bill] – he continued, responding to the host's remark that it was a much broader bill, and the President had explained why he rejected it.

08:54

Case:

Kaczyński’s Involvement Should Be Thoroughly Investigated." Kierwiński on the "Two Towers

I don’t know what the prosecutor’s office’s plans are regarding Kaczyński. If you’re asking for my private opinion, I believe that what happened concerning the two towers, the infamous investment and MP Kaczyński’s involvement in a private company’s business, should be thoroughly investigated. As far as I know, it will be investigated, as there have been prosecutor’s office statements in this regard – stated Marcin Kierwiński on PR3.

08:59

Obajtek:

I Don't Know Any Embarrassing Statement by Trump

– Today they are surprised by Trump, they quote his statements. And I don't know any of his statements that would be embarrassing. The issue of rare earths in Ukraine – should he not defend his interests? The issue of NATO, that there should be payments for armaments – should he not defend his interests, when the United States is primarily responsible for armaments? – said Daniel Obajtek in the Morning Program of Radio Wnet.

08:59

Jaki:

I Dislike the Incitement of Hatred Towards Ukraine. Mentzen's Visit to Lviv? A PR Stunt

– These are people I value in many areas, but in many I disagree with them. […] When I look at them, I don't like this incitement of hatred towards Ukraine and Ukrainians – said Patryk Jaki on RMF FM, when asked about Sławomir Mentzen and Krzysztof Bosak as potential leaders of the broadly understood right-wing.

– I understand this PR stunt […] I understand that one can have many valid points, in the sense that […] Poland should better utilize our situation, aid for Ukraine, and resolve, for example, the Volhynia issue, but one must ask a more fundamental question: how do we all want to build the security architecture in this part of Europe in the future, by inciting, for example, hatred between Poland and Ukraine – he continued, when asked if Sławomir Mentzen's visit to Lviv was unnecessary.

09:02

Kierwiński:

Putin is the Hitler of the 21st Century

I allow myself to assess that Putin is the Hitler of the 21st century. I have no doubts about this, and he should be held accountable for the crimes in Ukraine, but today the goal is to bring about peace, and as I said, this peace should be achieved at any price acceptable to Ukraine and the Ukrainian community – stated Marcin Kierwiński on PR3.

09:06

Will Mentzen Overtake Nawrocki? Jaki: Nothing of the Sort Will Happen

– Nothing of the sort will happen, I am convinced of it – said Patryk Jaki on RMF FM, when asked about Sławomir Mentzen potentially overtaking Karol Nawrocki.

– I have seen this trajectory many times before, in the last elections, meaning, Konfederacja grew, then fell, and in the end, it turned out they had less – he continued.

09:15

Jaki on the April 12th March:

The Invitation is Open to All Candidates. Hołownia, Trzaskowski, and Zandberg Can Come.

– I cannot rule it out [that Karol Nawrocki will be at the march on the occasion of the 1000th anniversary of Poland's coronation on April 12th], we will certainly invite them… the invitation is open to all candidates – said Patryk Jaki on RMF FM.

– Please do – he continued, when asked if Szymon Hołownia could come to this march.

– Please do, as long as he doesn't bring a gender flag, then please do, we invite them […] I am joking, of course, everyone is invited – he went on to say, when asked if Rafał Trzaskowski could appear at the march and walk in the front row.

– Everyone is invited, Poland is our common good – he added, when asked if Adrian Zandberg could come to the march.

09:26

Kierwiński on Nawrocki:

A Pathetically Tragic Candidate.

I am not surprised [by Sławomir Mentzen's rise in the polls] because I see the weakness of the PiS candidate. After all, Mr. Nawrocki, who is PiS through and through, is a pathetically tragic candidate. He is President Kaczyński's candidate, I can agree with that – stated Marcin Kierwiński in PR3.

09:34

Obajtek:

None of Tusk's Managers Want to Make Decisions Because They Fear Consequences

– This team first threw stones at me, saying it was the biggest scam. A year later, the Prime Minister comes out and says he is proud that a Polish company is building SMRs. And the Orlen management [...] makes no decisions in this regard, and the project is practically frozen. That's how these people make decisions – said Daniel Obajtek on the Morning Program of Radio Wnet.

– But besides that, who will make decisions in the country today? If anyone makes decisions like I did, they will be going from one prosecutor's office to another. Today, Donald Tusk himself has killed investments conducted and planned by State Treasury companies with his own hand. Because none of his managers want to make decisions, because they fear the consequences afterwards – he stated.

10:48

Sikorski Appeals to Duda:

It Hinders His Work for the Republic.

I ask Mr. President not to publicly discredit our chargé d'affaires in Washington, as it hinders his work for the Republic. Especially since during a recent visit to the USA, he proved to be more competent than those he chose – wrote the Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski.

10:49

PiS sends its position on the rule of law to the National Bar Council and the National Chamber of Legal Advisors:

We are raising a number of arguments.

"We have issued a position paper from the Law and Justice Parliamentary Club regarding violations of the rule of law in our homeland, Poland, under the rule of the December 13 coalition, under the rule of Donald Tusk. We will send the position paper to the National Bar Council and the National Chamber of Legal Advisors," Mariusz Błaszczak said at a press conference.

"The Law and Justice Parliamentary Club has appealed to the self-governing authorities of the legal profession, attorneys, and legal advisors, so that these highly respected bodies [...] will take a stance and consider the situation of their clients. [...] The current legal situation [...] directly impacts the interests of clients, both attorneys and legal advisors," said Zbigniew Ziobro.

"Even if, for instance, we assume that Dariusz Barski was never the National Prosecutor, as this government claims [...] there is a simple question for the highly respected attorneys, especially for the authorities of the bar and legal advisor self-governments, what about the situation of their clients who were subjected to legal, procedural, and operational proceedings, in which decisions were made by National Prosecutor Dariusz Barski? What about the situation of their clients, towards whom decisions were made by people appointed by Prosecutor Dariusz Barski?" he continued.

"We are raising a number of arguments that, in our opinion, unambiguously indicate that Dariusz Barski is the National Prosecutor, and not Mr. Korneluk or, for a time, another prosecutor serving as acting National Prosecutor," he went on to say.

"There is no provision that allows the current Prosecutor General to question the decision of the former Prosecutor General, which happened to be me, regarding the reinstatement of Prosecutor Barski to active service," he noted.

10:56

Ziobro on Bodnar:

A Liar Gets Tangled in His Own Feet.

– Prosecutor General Adam Bodnar needed a request from the National Prosecutor to appoint Mr. Bilewicz to the National Prosecutor's Office to effectively appoint him. And he claims this happened because the request was effectively submitted by National Prosecutor Dariusz Barski – said Zbigniew Ziobro at a press conference.

– A moment earlier, prosecutor Adam Bodnar claimed that Mr. Dariusz Barski was never the National Prosecutor because he was never effectively brought into active service, so nothing adds up here, it's a complete mess – he continued.

– One could say, a liar gets tangled in his own feet. He's gotten so twisted that he can no longer simply find his footing and honestly state the facts. Because he knows the facts. The fact is that he committed a crime, the illegal dismissal of National Prosecutor Dariusz Barski – he went on to say.

11:01

Ziobro:

If the Prosecutor's Office's Actions Are Impartial and Legal, Then Tusk is Marilyn Monroe

– If the prosecutor's office's actions are impartial, in line with the law, then Donald Tusk is Marilyn Monroe, you might as well say that. If Donald Tusk […] defines his own identity in such a way, then it is as true as claiming that the prosecutor's office under his supervision […] operates legally, impartially, and is solely concerned with the law and enforcing criminal liability – said Zbigniew Ziobro at a press conference.

11:17

Błaszczak on the Situation in the Army:

No One Was Forced," but "Those Going on Missions Were Vaccinated.

– Nobody was forced to get vaccinated; in fact, [...] there was a certain long-standing principle adopted in the Polish Army: soldiers going on missions were vaccinated. This was a rule, an ironclad rule, ever since the Polish Army participated in foreign missions, so there were no such cases – Mariusz Błaszczak stated at a press conference.

11:23

Ziobro Asked About a Poll Where 49% Support His Arrest, and 41% Don't:

With Such Disinformation, It's Still a Good Result.

– With such disinformation, it's still a good result, one could say. 41% is really not something to worry about, I think – said Zbigniew Ziobro at a press conference, when asked about an IBRiS poll for Radio ZET in which 49% of respondents were in favor of him being arrested, and 41% against.

– But in all seriousness, I would like to refer to the principle that Poles usually make decisions or express opinions based on the information that reaches them. And in this matter, many lies and manipulations are reaching the consciousness of Poles – he continued.

11:28

Ziobro:

I Appeared on TV Republika to Show the Police 'Hello, I'm Here, You Can Come'

– I wanted [...] and I did it, to express that I would submit to a decision to use force against me, because it then releases me from the responsibility of legalizing the illegal actions of the former Pegasus committee, and that is why I deliberately appeared on TV Republika, in a public place, to show the police 'hello, I'm here, you can come, I will submit to the proceedings, you can take me to the Sejm' – said Zbigniew Ziobro at a press conference.

11:33

Why is the Nawrocki Event a 'Conference'? Błaszczak: Because We Can't Afford a Convention

– Such an event will have the character of a conference, precisely. It's a subtle difference, but a significant one, and to put it bluntly: it's because we cannot afford a convention. Rafał Trzaskowski can afford a convention; he's already had one, and we see he's now running a billboard campaign that costs a lot. However, Civic Platform has money, while Law and Justice's money has been stolen – Mariusz Błaszczak said at a press conference when asked why the Sunday event with Karol Nawrocki is being called a "conference" and not a "convention."

11:45

Ziobro:

Hołownia's Attacks on Mentzen Best Reveal Where the Electorate is Flowing From and To

– Mr. Hołownia's desperate attacks on Mr. Mentzen best reveal where the electorate is flowing from and to whom – Zbigniew Ziobro said at a press conference.

11:50

Błaszczak on the New Industrial District Project to be Announced by Trzaskowski:

Another Campaign Stunt.

– This is simply another campaign stunt by Rafał Trzaskowski, he is unbelievable – Mariusz Błaszczak said at a press conference when asked about the project to establish a new central industrial district, which Rafał Trzaskowski is to announce.

– Whether the idea itself is good, one must ask in the context of who is presenting this idea […] theoretically, he can do anything, the only question is whether people will believe him, I am convinced they won’t. […] He can propose various slogans, he can propose a trip to space to Poles – he continued.

13:35

Motion to Lift Matecki's Immunity Referred to Rules Committee. 'Sejm Marshal Gave the MP Three Days'

"The motion to lift the immunity of MP Dariusz Matecki has been sent to the Rules Committee today. We are awaiting confirmation of effective notification to MP Matecki. Only then will the statutory deadlines commence. The Marshal has given the MP 3 days to voluntarily waive his immunity," wrote Jarosław Urbaniak on X.

14:40

Mentzen on the Ukrainian MFA's Reaction:

Looks Like I Won't See Lviv for a Long Time.

"I asked for a reaction from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. And the MFA reacted, but unfortunately it was the Ukrainian one. It looks like I won't see Lviv for a long time now :)" – wrote Sławomir Mentzen on social media.

15:38

Trzaskowski in Bełchatów:

It May Be Necessary to Build Another Nuclear Power Plant.

We all want to be independent of Russia, to produce cheap and clean energy. And that's the truth, we have to slowly move away from coal, but we have to do it thoughtfully. We must invest in nuclear power, and we are not just talking about it, we are simply doing it. We must invest in RES (Renewable Energy Sources), we must have a strategy. However, we cannot forget about the people who worked in the energy sector. We need to have an answer as to what jobs we will provide for them. It may be necessary to build another nuclear power plant, Bełchów is one of the places where such a power plant could be built – stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a press briefing in Bełchatów.

15:40

Trzaskowski asked about a second round:

I am ready for absolutely any opponent.

I am ready for absolutely any opponent. I hope that Polish women and men will ensure that I make it to the second round, and who will be in the second round – we will see, these polls are changing. Let's wait, because we still have three months ahead of us – stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a press briefing in Bełchatów.

15:42

Trzaskowski on Mentzen:

Most of his colleagues would gladly lead Poland out of the EU.

[Sławomir Mentzen’s] views, which are incredibly skeptical of the EU. Most of Mentzen’s colleagues would gladly lead Poland out of the EU. His views on the role of women, which are absolutely unbelievable, these ideas that women could end up in prison, which Mentzen proposes in difficult cases concerning abortion law, are something unbelievable – stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a press briefing in Bełchatów.

15:53

Mentzen:

I Don't Intend to Worry About Any Polls, Especially Those Created as Part of Rival Campaign Staff Battles

"I don't intend to worry about any polls, especially those created as part of rival campaign staff battles. We will work very hard in this campaign for a good result, but in the elections, not in the polls," Sławomir Mentzen wrote on the X platform.

16:31

Duda After Meeting with Sports Associations:

Another Area of Life that Civic Coalition and Tusk’s Government Are Ruthlessly Trying to Subjugate.

I had a meeting with sports associations today. This is another area of life in Poland that the Civic Coalition and D. Tusk’s government are ruthlessly trying to subjugate. They do not recognize any independence or self-governance. It appears that there will be no room in Polish sports organizations for those who do not wish to carry out the political will of the current coalition – wrote President Andrzej Duda on social media.

17:29

Trzaskowski:

Poland Can Be One of the World's Most Innovative Economies

We can be one of the most innovative economies in the world. We can achieve such success. Our specialists are working all over the globe – stated Rafał Trzaskowski in Radomsko.

17:30

Trzaskowski on a hypothetical conversation with Trump:

Thanks to us, your dream is coming true.

If I were to speak with Trump, I would tell him: listen, Donald, look – thanks to us, your dream is coming true. We are securing not only our borders, but also the American-Mexican one, and this shows that these types of technologies can find application in such important areas as security – stated Rafał Trzaskowski in Radomsko.

17:40

Trzaskowski:

We Are Safe

You see that the world is becoming more and more unpredictable, and therefore, security must be our top priority. I am reassuring you, we are safe, because we have been acting wisely for many years. We are investing the most money in Europe, relative to our GDP, precisely on defense, precisely on security – stated Rafał Trzaskowski in Radomsko.

We are spending almost 5% on defense, and I am postulating that by 2026, this should be 5%. We are also spending money on our own defense industry, we are securing our eastern border, and we are doing this in earnest. 'Tarcza Wschód' (Eastern Shield) is a project that will ensure that the Polish eastern border will be one of the most secure borders in the world – he continued.

18:00

Trzaskowski:

We Can No Longer Afford to Hear Only the Scratch of a Pen from the Presidential Palace

Think about whom you would want to entrust with security, whom you would want to entrust with responsibility for our common destiny. Because, ladies and gentlemen, the jokes are over. We can no longer afford silence from the palace, nor for the only thing we see and hear from the palace to be the scratch of a pen signing whatever is put in front of it – stated Rafał Trzaskowski in Radomsko.

18:43

Trump:

I am very indebted to Poland. They paid more than they had to

The Presidents of the USA and Ukraine answered journalists' questions before the start of their talks.

– I am very committed to Poland – Donald Trump said, responding to a question from a Polish Radio journalist about upholding NATO alliance commitments.

– I think Poland really stepped up and did a great job for NATO. As you know, they paid more than they had to. They are one of the best groups of people I've ever met. I am very indebted to Poland – said the US President.

19:56

Tusk After Zelensky’s Meeting with Trump:

Dear Ukrainian Friends, You Are Not Alone.

– Dear Volodymyr Zelensky, dear Ukrainian friends, you are not alone – Prime Minister Donald Tusk wrote on social media.

Minutes earlier, the President of Ukraine had left the White House after his meeting with US President Donald Trump in the Oval Office devolved into an argument. The planned press conference of the two leaders was canceled, and an agreement concerning Ukraine's mineral resources was not signed.

20:06

Siemoniak on Trump's Words Regarding Poland:

Unequivocally Confirmed US Commitments.

– For me, and I think for all Polish citizens, what President Donald Trump said about Poland, about his commitment, is important. I think it's incredibly significant that when asked about Eastern Europe, about the eastern flank of NATO, he so unequivocally confirmed the United States' commitments – said Tomasz Siemoniak in an interview with Grzegorz Kajdanowicz on TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach" (Facts After Facts).

20:31

Siemoniak comments on the Zelensky-Trump meeting:

There’s no need to dramatize that the world ended today.

– This is not the end of this matter, all of this is happening. […] I would have preferred for the United States and Ukraine to have reached an agreement today, for these matters to progress well, and for the hero of independent Ukraine, President Zelensky, to gain the respect he deserves. That didn't happen, but there’s no need to dramatize, to think that the world ended today – said Tomasz Siemoniak in "Fakty po Faktach" on TVN24.

– European leaders will gather [at the summit in London on Sunday], former President Macron, the Prime Minister of Great Britain this week in Washington. These talks appeared to be effective. So, there will be a continuation, we will see what happens next – he continued.

– It was an opening, certainly a bad opening. What will happen next? There are many Polish sayings suggesting that if something starts badly, it can end well – he later pointed out.

20:34

Siemoniak:

Peace is Far Off, Perhaps Further Than Hours Ago. But a US-Russia Agreement is Equally Distant

– I think peace is far off, perhaps further than it was a few hours ago. On the other hand, I believe an agreement between the United States and Russia is equally distant. We are at the same point we were six months ago: the war is ongoing, Russia is conducting aggression, and there is no idea of what comes next – said Tomasz Siemoniak on TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach".

20:49

Siemoniak:

Poland is Covered by US Guarantees, the New President and His Administration Ensure This

– History does not end today. Ukraine is fighting, Ukraine has Europe on its side. President Trump very clearly spoke about his commitments to Poland […]. This is an absolutely very serious statement – said Tomasz Siemoniak on TVN24's “Fakty po Faktach”.

– This means that our efforts in recent weeks, President Duda's talks in the United States, Minister Sikorski's talks with the Secretary of State, with advisors, the visit of the Secretary of Defense and talks with Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz – all of this is yielding results – he stated.

– Poland is safe, Poland is covered by the guarantees of the United States, and the new president and his administration ensure this – he emphasized.

20:57

Trzaskowski:

Emotions are a bad advisor. We need courage and prudence

– Poland has a capital of trust simultaneously in the USA, in Europe, and in Ukraine. We must skillfully utilize this – for the good of all. Emotions are a bad advisor. We need courage and prudence – wrote Rafał Trzaskowski on the X portal.

22:18

Sikorski’s Unequivocal Declaration:

Poland Will Support a Free Ukraine Until a Just Peace is Achieved.

– My heart is with the brave soldiers of Ukraine, who are defending the bastions of freedom against aggression, greed, and nihilism – Radosław Sikorski wrote on the X portal.

– Poland will support a free Ukraine until a just peace is achieved – declared the head of Polish diplomacy.
